Oh my god, guys, I'm so sorry. I've been going through a lot lately, and school restarted, and so I've been really busy. So I'm hoping I'll get back into writing, but just know that I am trying, even if it isn't looking good.

Alec closed his eyes. He didn't want to see. He knew it wasn't his boyfriend. The boy who had walked through the door was skinny and ragged with dark grey hair that stood up in a mane around his slender face. Cuts and bruises ran the length of the man. His eyes were dull, and he had none of the life that Magnus did.

"God, I'm an idiot. Why did I believe?"

"Because I said I was coming back." A husky voice whispered in Alec's ear. Alec jumped. The voice was familiar, but different. He turned to the man. Magnus's cat eyes glowed dully back at him.

"Magnus!" Alec yelped, then threw his arms around his boyfriend. Magnus let out a whine, then his stick-like arms wrapped around Alec.

"Oh, my Alec. You've been so sad. I didn't know." Magnus mumbled, his lips pressed firmly against Alec's ear. Alec let out a choked sob. He cupped Magnus's face in his hands and kissed him, Magnus's lips finally against his. Alec's hands left Magnus's face and slid around his waist. Although his boyfriend was much skinnier, his hips were unchanged. Alec's arms fit right into the divots. He sobbed again, burying his face in Magnus's bony shoulder.

"You're back."

"You're back."
