On Today's Episode: The park's hostages have been liberated, but Nick decides to stay on the moon to trash the Nega-Tron Armor and keep it from following his friends. Can the spies get back to the moon in time to save Nick before the amusement park explodes and possibly takes him with it? And can Nick defeat the Nega-Tron Armor before it's too late, or is the end of his voyage?

Episode 3: Speak With Your Heart

8:27 P.M. – Outer Space, Lady Luna's Incredible Interstellar Amusement Park (25 minutes before self-destruct)

"Sending your friends away so you can fight us yourself?" Snell cackled. "How gutless."

"Oh, just shove it all the way up your keester," Nick shot back as he began to chase down the Nega-Tron Armor as it floated away from him. "You're not touching my friends while I'm still around."

"If that's how you wish to play this game, my little nova star, then let us begin!" Lady Luna shouted.

The Nega-Tron Armor roared loudly before flying further ahead of Nick, its claws opening to spit out spike-shaped balls of energy that rolled across the ground, forcing Nick to dodge between them.

Every time he got close to the Nega-Tron Armor, though, it swiped its claws at him, which meant Nick had to keep his distance.

"There's gotta be a way I can hit this thing," Nick quipped.

While he continued to dodge the Nega-Tron Armor's attacks, Nick eventually noticed that whenever the machine did a claw slam, it left the cockpit wide open.

"That'll do just fine," Nick stated before rushing forward.

The Nega-Tron Armor reared back before doing another claw slam attack, only for Nick to stop short of it, then lunge forward to jump off of the claw and fire a Final Shine Attack into the reinforced glass of the cockpit, cracking it slightly and causing the Nega-Tron Armor to bounce back down the pathway before eventually picking itself back up.

"Don't think you're going to win this, boy!" Snell shouted.

"Tell it to someone who cares!" Nick shot back as he fired a few psychic bolts to deflect more spiked spheres, all while the Nega-Tron Armor opened its right claw to fire a laser beam at Nick.

Back on the shuttle, Clover was attempting to get Alex to settle down, with predictable results.

"Alex, calm down!" Clover proclaimed.

"Turn this shuttle around, now!" Alex shouted. "I'm not leaving Nick up there all by himself!"

"We kinda don't have a choice, Alex," Sam admitted. "We've got to make sure everyone here gets down to Earth safely before we can go back."

Alex had nothing to say to that.

"Why did he do that?!" Melissa gasped.

"I'm pretty sure he did it so that evil robot thing wouldn't follow us," May responded. "That sounds like something Nick would do."

"I really hope he's going to be okay..." Bridget stated.

"Hey, Nick's never steered us wrong before," May answered. "But I do agree that we need to hurry and drop off our passengers so we can get back up there before the park goes boom and possibly takes Nick with it!"

Eri couldn't help but glance out of the side window as the shuttle approached Earth.

Please be okay, big bro... Eri thought.

Needless to say, Alex's stress levels were through the roof as she looked back again.

"Alex, I said we don't have a choice," Sam repeated.

"But we..." Alex started before Haruka cut in on her statement.

"Alex, I know how hard it is, but Sam's right," Haruka emphasized. "And besides, I know Nick well enough to almost guarantee that he'll get out of situations like that."

"Totally!" Bridget exclaimed. "After all, he made it out of that fracas when Tim Scam and Macker tried to blow Beverly Hills to smithereens."

"And need I remind you of before when Psykos took control of him and what we did, Alex?" May added in.

Hearing these did put Alex at SOME ease.

"I just worry about him regardless," Alex admitted. "I know Nick's tough, but considering he's right next to a place that's about to explode..."

"Hey, being a good girlfriend means worrying some times, even if we know Nick can take care of himself," May answered, leaning over to hug Alex.

The shuttle continued on, but Alex's worry began coming back.

"I really think we still should turn around," Alex told the group.

"Alex, we can't!" Mat exclaimed.

"But Nick..." Alex started when the park began getting close to the explosion time.

When it did explode, Alex couldn't contain herself with grief; fortunately, Alex's grief was taken away when Nick came floating upward to the shuttle.

"What'd I tell ya, Alex?!" Bridget exclaimed when she saw for herself.

"I admit I had a doubt or two," Mat quipped. "But Nick doesn't let any of us down."

Now, the task at hand was stopping Snell and Lady Luna altogether, as well as get the passengers to safety.

"Uh, girls," Nozomi replied. "I'm trying to keep the passengers calm, but they're having a hard time complying."

"No worries, Nozomi," Melissa replied. "We can chip in."

"Okay, all of you keep calm!" Dawn exclaimed.

"Just stay right where you are," Clover added. "We've got everything under control!"

"And we'll be the first ones to tell you if we don't," Mat added.

"We'll all have you back home on Earth where you belong in an orderly manner, too!" Sam proclaimed.

"If anyone can do it, they can," Eri told the group. "Believe me! My mom and I were in this position before."

"Glad to see someone hasn't forgotten that particular mission," Alex commented, thinking back to the botched getaway that Captain Hayes ruined for the two couples.

"I wonder if Nick's caught up yet," Clover stated.

"I'll check with him," May replied and went away with her X-Powder. "Nick, come in..."

Much to May's delight, Nick was able to answer after a bit.

"Hello?" Nick stated.

"Nick, it's me," May replied. "Have you caught up to our shuttle?"

"I'm currently ON the shuttle outside," Nick answered.

"Could you use a little help?" May wondered.

"That'd be... highly... appreciated, May," Nick replied through some pauses.

It was apparent to May that Nick was fighting with Snell and/or Lady Luna.

"Hang on, Nick," May proclaimed. "I'll get some of the others and we'll get to you ASAP!"

"Oh, please do come up," Snell laughed as the Nega-Tron Armor continued to swipe at Nick, occasionally firing a laser beam from its claws. "You're only delaying the inevitable!"

Nick stood his ground, raising small barriers to deflect each shot that came his way, until the Nega-Tron Armor charged straight for him.

Nick quickly dodged away, only for the Nega-Tron Armor to land directly on the shuttle and latch onto the roof with its claws.

"N-Nick? What was that noise?" Mat asked through the communicators.

"You wouldn't dare," Nick growled.

"Oh, just try and stop us!" Lady Luna proclaimed.

Nick did just that, forming an energy blade on his hands, then dashing forward to slash at the arms of the Nega-Tron Armor, severing them from the machine and leaving the claws stuck in the shuttle roof.

Not satisfied just yet, Nick rushed in while the villains were gawking, stabbing his energy blade into the mouth of the Nega-Tron Armor, causing explosions to rock its outer shell and shatter it in many places, its pieces floating out into space and sending the cockpit containing Lady Luna and Snell flying.

"Well, this isn't good," Snell proclaimed. "What do we do now?"

Snell looked back to his cohort, only to see a rather evil grin on her face. He suddenly didn't like where this was going.

"You mean 'what do I do now?', my dear Snell," Lady Luna laughed, pulling a lever on the cockpit's control panel to reveal a flashy-looking button labeled "TRUMP CARD".

"You... you're betraying me?!" Snell exclaimed.

"Should have studied rule eight, Snell!" Lady Luna cackled as she strapped herself into the seat, opened the hatch on the cockpit, and shoved Snell out into space before pressing the Trump Card button.

Nick quickly caught wind of the floating Snell and raised his right hand to grab him and bring him closer to the shuttle before encasing him in a psychic bubble.

"At least you're wearing your space suit, you dumbbell," Nick quipped.

"It's not my fault that little miss moon bitch double-crossed me!" Snell shouted as Nick moved the bubble down into the newly-opened hatch, which Alex, May, Melissa, and Dawn jumped out of, clad in their own space suits so they could assist Nick.

"Wait, why is only Snell in a bubble?" Melissa asked. "What about Lady Luna?"

Nick looked back up at the remains of the Nega-Tron Armor as many of the pieces started to gravitate towards the cockpit.

"Probably that," Nick quipped.

Lady Luna leaped out of the cockpit as the pieces of the Nega-Tron Armor all reconfigured themselves around her, basically allowing her to wear the Nega-Tron Armor's parts like an actual suit of armor.

"Did... did she really just do that?!" Dawn shouted.

"Call it my last resort," Lady Luna laughed as she approached the shuttle. "Now we'll see who truly has the last laugh!"

Nick's aura flared as he charged to meet Lady Luna, throwing a few punches to keep her away before she tried to bite at him with the claws on her hands.

"Okay, I definitely wasn't expecting her to do that," Melissa admitted.

"Down to business, is there anything we can do to help Nick out here?" Alex asked.

As May watched Nick and Lady Luna clash, she saw something on the Nega-Tron Armor that piqued her interest.

"I think I have an idea," May quipped.

Nick ducked under Lady Luna's claws before striking back with a Final Shine Attack that sent her tumbling backwards.

"Is the claws really all you have?" Nick taunted, only to see the claws open up and gather energy into them. "Oh, I shouldn't have blabbed..."

"Not even close, brat!" Lady Luna shouted, blasting Nick with a purple laser beam that sent him flying back towards the shuttle, only for Alex and May to catch him.

"You okay, Nick?" Alex asked.

"Aside from the sneak attack, mostly," Nick answered. "We need to stop her quickly, before she goes crazy enough to blow up the entire shuttle."

"I'm willing to bet we need to just yank that armor off of her and she's as good as borked," May quipped. "I might have a way to do that."

"Dawn, Melissa, can you two stay here and protect the shuttle?" Alex asked.

"That crazy cosmonaut won't lay a finger on it," Dawn proclaimed.

With that, Nick, Alex and May took off to continue their battle with Lady Luna.

"It's truly pointless, nova stars," Lady Luna proclaimed as she slashed at the three spies with her 'wings', forcing them to stay back. "Try all you want, you won't be able to stop me! Even if my wonderful amusement park is nothing but space debris now, I still have enough power to scatter you to the winds of the cosmos!"

Nick's reply was a pulse wave that knocked Lady Luna away.

"You've got some nerve acting like you're all high and mighty, especially when so many other baddies have done the same thing, only to get destroyed once we start beating them down," Nick shot back. "Don't act like you're any different, especially after what you did to Eri and her mother."

"It's our duty to take down sickos like you!" Alex exclaimed.

"And you're gonna regret ever messing with us!" May shouted.

"Oh, really?" Lady Luna laughed. "And why, exactly, is that?"

Suddenly, May was right behind Lady Luna, having ambushed her from behind during her evil gloating.

"Because you didn't pay attention," May stated, bashing at Lady Luna's back with her anchor, each strike hard enough to chip off pieces of the Nega-Tron Armor.

Nick continued the attack by forming an energy blade on his right hand, then flying towards Lady Luna while she was distracted and slicing off both of her "wings".

Alex pitched in by whipping out, of all things, a Turbo Shovel 2.0 and jamming it into the back of the Nega-Tron Armor, the spinning shovel blade tearing through the armor quickly.

"See, Clover, I knew it would be useful someday," Alex giggled.

Still, Lady Luna refused to surrender, forcing Alex and May to grab her by her arms as Nick retreated slightly to charge up for his finisher.

Nick spread his arms out wide, his left hand surrounded by a bright green light and his right hand surrounded by a bright yellow light. After a couple seconds of charging up, Nick slammed his hands together, the green and yellow glow around his hands merging into a small field of silver light around both of his hands.

"End of the line, Luna," Nick proclaimed. "Say hello to the stars for me yourself! SHINING STAR ATTACK!"

Nick wrenched his hands apart, then clapped them back together to unleash a massive wave of silver light, almost resembling a tsunami. May and Alex let go of Lady Luna and flew away just as the wave of light collided with Lady Luna, exploding with much pageantry and completely destroying the Nega-Tron Armor.

"Woooooooow," Eri gasped as she saw the spectacular light show created from Nick's finishing move.

When the light cleared away, Lady Luna was completely helpless, thus allowing Nick to encase her in a psychic bubble as well.

"Guess the stars weren't in your favor today, were they?" Nick quipped as he flew back towards the shuttle with Alex and May right behind him, guiding the bubbled Luna into the shuttle and eventually touching down.

"Talk about a light show, huh?" Bridget laughed.

"Case closed, you guys," Nick responded, only for Eri to come flying into the room and hug Nick tightly. "Whoa, Eri, what's with the flying hug? Not that I don't appreciate it, but..."

"I'm just happy you're okay," Eri replied.

"I'll try not to scare you too much from now on, 'kay?" Nick answered, only to blush slightly when Eri jumped up and kissed him on the cheek.

"Well, everyone, if we're all clear, let's get this thing home," Sam proclaimed.

"Don't have to tell me twice!" Haruka laughed.

"Someone's happy to see Nick," Nozomi laughed at Eri's actions.

The spies were grinning as Lady Luna stayed in their shuttle grumbling like there was no tomorrow over her botched plan.

"Well, let's get outta here and get home," Clover proclaimed.

"Almost," Nick replied. "We've got someone to drop off first..."

10:01 P.M. – Beverly Hills

"There you go, Eri," Nick quipped as he let Eri run back to Mom Emi.

"Thank you so much again," Emi told the spy team.

"All in a day's work," Mat remarked.

Jerry came into view. "Yes, all in a day's work indeed," he stated.

"Nice to see you, too, Jer," Haruka quipped.

"Yes, and another job well done, too, agents," Jerry commended.

"Thanks, Jerry," Sam replied.

"I must also commend you spies on capturing Snell in addition to Lady Luna," Jerry added. "We actually weren't aware that Snell had escaped."

"Never thought I'd hear that about Snell," Alex remarked. "I'd expect that from someone like Diminutive Smalls."

With the mission now shelved for good, the spies used their X-Powders to change back to regular clothes.

"I'll have the W.O.O.H.P. jet take you back to campus in the meantime," Jerry told the spy team.

"Thank goodness," May replied. "All that time in space surely depleted any energy I have left for today."

"I think we've all had our share of time in space, that's for sure," Mat stated.

"Couldn't agree more," Britney smiled as she and Sam took his sides.

"Are you still coming to my performance?" Emi asked.

"You bet we are!" May laughed.

"Wait, you're performing soon, Emi?" Haruka asked.

"Yeah, we actually ran into Eri and Emi before we got summoned for the mission," Nick explained. "And Emi invited us to her performance on Thursday."

"Then we're definitely in," Clover proclaimed.

"I'll see you all there!" Eri laughed as she and Emi left, waving goodbye to the spies.

11:30 P.M. – The Spies' Penthouse

After the spies were dropped off, they did wardrobe changes again and Sam ran off to take a shower.

"At least the semester's winding down," Bridget stated, opting to change the subject from the mission they were just on.

"No doubt it is," Clover quipped. "Is everyone still up for jumping in the pool back at our beach house to celebrate summertime?"

"Sounds like a great way to get summer started," Mat commented. "You bet I'm up for that, Clover!"

"Uh-huh," Alex added with a nod. "That'd be a good way to start out summertime."

"It's definitely a nice exclamation point to say the least," May commented.

"I'm looking forward to starting summer that way," Britney smiled as she nuzzled next to Mat.

Mat returned the favor as Sam returned in her PJs; she smiled at Britney as she took Mat's vacant side.

"So, what do you think, guys?" Melissa asked. "Beach tomorrow after our classes?"

"Beach sounds great," Dawn replied.

"But a few weeks from now, we'll be ready for summertime after finals," Nick happily stated.

"I'll say," Sam replied, then turned to Mat. "Right... honey-buns?"

"You bet, Sammy-honey," Mat answered as he shared a kiss with her, and then with Britney.

6:57 P.M. – Beverly Hills, the Lux Theater (two days later)

"Man, this place is packed!" Bridget quipped as the crowd continued to fill the seats of the Lux Theater in preparation for Emi's performance. "She must really be a good singer to draw a crowd like this."

"To be fair, we haven't actually heard her sing, remember?" May replied. "So this'll be a good first experience."

"Hey, has anyone seen Eri anywhere?" Alex asked. "I figured she'd be in the crowd to watch her mom belt out some hits."

Nick did a quick radar sweep of the theater area. "No sign of her in the crowd," Nick stated. "That's odd, huh?"

Before any of the spies could wonder where Eri had went, the lights in the theater dimmed as seven o'clock sharp hit. A spotlight shined on the curtain as it began to open, revealing Emi...

...and Eri, as well. Mother and daughter were both wearing sparkly dresses that shined brightly under the spotlight.

"Well, that answers that question!" Sam laughed.

"Thank you all for coming out tonight," Emi proclaimed to the audience. "As you can probably see, my daughter Eri wanted to join me on the stage tonight to show off how well she can sing. So, I won't keep you all waiting any longer. Shall we begin, Eri?"

"Yeah, mama, let's start the music!" Eri giggled as the band behind them began to play the first song of the night.

("Koukai no Uta" by Sayuri plays)

After a short instrumental, Emi started the song.

"Wow, she actually is really good," Haruka quipped.

It wasn't long before Eri started singing as well, and the spies in particular were blown away by how well she could sing.

"Like mother, like daughter, eh?" May giggled. "Sing it, girl!"

The audience, the spies included, began clapping along when the song reached the chorus.

Once the song was over, the audience applauded loudly for the two singers.

And as they prepared to start the next song in their set list, Eri saw Nick in the audience and winked to him.

And Nick winked back as Eri began singing her own song for the crowd.

Totally Spies: Reach For the Stars
~The End~

Final Author's Notes from The Blue Time Ranger: Story number twenty-three complete! This one was fun to do, even if the events of Space Much? make both me and Mat want to ralph for various reasons, I felt that at least the villain of that episode was interesting, enough for me to pick her as the villain of this piece.

And funny thing, too: jettmanas, in a review of Nanny Nightmare, actually said that it was refreshing that that story didn't have a giant robot final boss... and then I make Reach For the Stars' final boss a giant robot (at least for phase one). Well, to be fair, this'll probably be the last giant robot final boss until at least Beyond the Looking Glass HD Remix (because remake).

And yes, Eri made a comeback because she is a precious bean who must be protected and loved AT ALL COSTS. Anyone who's watched season four of My Hero Academia will know why.

Okay, enough of my rambles! Next time on Totally Spies: The New Adventures, a certain evil brother is back for yet another round, but this time, he's got a rather devious "kick 'em where it hurts" kind of plan. Does it involve a certain guy spy, and does he still want revenge on the spies? Well, the revenge is obvious, but for everything else, you'll have to hold on until Strange Feelings, which will be posted by Mat. So, until next time, have a fantastic day, don't listen to the screeching morons, enjoy this preview of Strange Feelings, and we'll see you next mission!

"All right, Jer, who's after some revengeance today?" Nick asked.

RiCO materialized in the office to project an image onto the viewscreen, that of Jerry's evil brother Terrence.

"Ugh, not him again," Clover groaned. "Doesn't he know when to give it up?!"

"We could say that about a lot of the villains we've faced, Clover," May answered. "So, what's he up to this time?"

"Honestly, we're not sure," RiCO responded. "All we know for sure is that he's probably planning some kind of revenge on all of you."

"Doesn't that just figure," Bridget sighed.

"Also, Dean seems to have disappeared," Jerry admitted. "I've been trying to contact him, but with no luck."

"Oh, that can't be any sort of good," Nick quipped.

Despite the fact that they tried to hide it, Nick easily noticed the small blushes on the faces of Sam, Alex, and Clover when Dean was mentioned.

Nick knew that Sam and Alex wouldn't actually try to make any moves on Dean despite that, though. Clover might, but that was because she was the only one of the original trio currently without a boyfriend.

I have this strange feeling, though, Nick thought. He knew that Terrence had probably kidnapped Dean for whatever reason, and now Nick wondered if the girls' reactions had something to do with whatever that plan was.

After all, Nick still remembered how their last mission with Dean had gone, with Mat's fears of losing Sam being pushed to the forefront.

Is that his game? Nick thought.

To be continued in Totally Spies: Strange Feelings...
