The First FVDT Christmas Special

Vinny had ended up being right, Faye mused late Christmas Eve.

School was let out early this year due to...certain events that were NOT related to Erma, so the Sam Williams fanclub had caught up on their novel reading.

"Lady and gentlemen, a thought occurs to me." Vinny said one day.

"They do to everybody." DJ said as he munched an apple, getting a light glare from Tack. "Sorry! Hangry. Continue."

"Many thanks, Tackperniacus." Vinny smiled. "As I was musing, this year has been..."

"Rough?" Faye suggested.

"Cruel?" DJ followed.

"..I was going to say interesting, but fair enough." Vinny mused. "Especially in one regard; the supernatural bits. What with Wall..."

"WE DO NOT SPEAK OF THAT THING!" Faye and DJ snapped, trying to forget...that puppet...!

*Shudder!*

"My point is..." Vinny wrapped up. "Do you not belive it possible that due to Erma's presence, never mind Emiko's rather incredible adventures before marrying Sam...is it not possible some of the more...un-commerically adored bits of the holidays might come around to haunt us these days?"

That had made them drop Sam's books and notes and begin to research.

So, when Faye heard cloven hoofs and jingling bells late at night, she knew who was coming and where they were going.

"Back away from Terry." She ordered in a whisper to the being who had been reaching to grab her brother.

The being towered over her, covered in fur with hoofed feet, wearing giant jingle bells on its back and carrying a bad taht seemed to be stuffed with sharp objects.

"...Do you know who I am?" It asked.

"Krampus." Faye answered. "..I guess by your presence here, Terry made the naughty list?"

"Contrary to what you may hear, I actually don't mind a wee little mischief, Fraulein." The Krampus said, surprisngly the teenage girl. "Children will be children and learn from it. But not learning from that mischief? Ignoring studies? What he and those other kids did to their teacher?"

"That last one was not Terry's fault...entirely." Faye mused.

"Why do you even care?" The Krampus asked. "He has been nothing but a pain in your vutt since he was born; crying, screaming, teasing you about that boy you..."

Faye cut the creature.

"He is a little prick, but he's still my brother."

And then a thought occured to her. Krampus came after children who misbehaved...

"...What about Tack?"

Krampus' brow went wide for a moment, before his sinister grin return and his tongue salivated

"Ooooooh ho hooooo!" The demonic looking creature cackled. "He's an interesting one, taht lad! The biggest of our gang is dealing with him!"

Another Krampus lay outside the Bell home, battered and without some teeth but otherwise fine.

"He's fine." It groaned in pain as it forced itself to its feet. The world spun. "I-is he even human?"

Tack meanwhile, went back to bed, ticked off some nutjob in a costume had seriously tried to rob him and a sleeping Thursday on Christmas Eve of all times.

He never learned the truth; that he had fought and bested a holiday spirt.

"Just walk away." Faye asked. "Please. Terry's just a kid!"

Krampus smirked and pulled out a whip from his bag.

"If ya won;t let me take him, a lashing will..."

Faye leapt in front of her brother.

"You'll have to go through me." She snarled.

"You're a brave girl, I give ya that." The Krampus smirked. "And quite a beauty to! Smart as well. Such a shame it doesn't carry over to..."

"Hi Johan.." Emiko said.

"Hello Emiko." Krampus said without br4eaking his triade. "Now, herr Gora, move along and Wait...Emiko?!"

"Mrs. Williams?!" Faye asked.

The Onryo woman waved and to answer Faye's unasked question, pointed to her brother's charging phone.

"Johan?" Emiko asked with a smile on her face. "Does Nicholas know you and the others are here?"

'Johan' went silent for a while.

"I understand if you and him are still upset over that little incident in the Alps.." Emiko started. "But last I checked, you can't go anywhere without him."

Johan recovered himself.

"The fool spoils them! The kids of this age are proof of that! Not caring for lessons, not recalling sacred texts, and the pranks! OH THE PRANKS! Espeically one brat here, Erma Willaims! That little...!"

"Did you just threaten my daughter?" Emiko asked suddenly.

Johan stopped.

"W-wait. S-she's...?"

Emiko took a deep breath and grabbed the Krampus by the ear, just as a sound all children would recongize filled their ears.

"HO HO HO!"

Faye's eyes widened.

No way.

It couldn't be...!

He wasn't...!

But then again...

"I'll take care of the walking rug, Faye." Emiko cooed. "Go back to sleep. And Merry Christmas!"

She then vanished into Terry's phone and Faye, after moving up Terry's blanket, went back to bed.

The next morning, Faye was awoken by something jumping on her bed

"Faye! Faye! Faye! Faye!" Terry beamed. "Wake up! Its Christmas! Santa came! Santa came!"

Faye groaned, now feeling shame of when she did that to her parents.

Before going downstairs, she checked her text messages.

'Merry Christmas guys!' DJ beamed as he and his family settled down for French Toast and cany cane hot cocoa for breakfast.

'Happy holidays, hollowed friends!' Vinny waved as he and his uncle began to binge wacth classic Christmas cartoons.

'See ya guys tonight at the Willaims.' Tack had texted as he and Thursday exchanged gifts.

Faye smiled before spying one last message:

A video of Erma in an elf costume, waving as Emiko and Sam sipped coffee...and several Krampys cleaned up the house and wrote apology letters.

Faye then went downstairs to spend time with her parents and brother.

Happy Holidays everyone!
