"Today we are going to go explore the territories, and tomorrow we will do some hunting practice with your sister, if Shrewfox allows it at least, if your good maybe you could go to the upcoming gathering in half a moon" Hollywater chattered on like a starling. All this cat did was talk, she had no care about what she talked about she just talked! I glanced around my surroundings I saw a small lizard scamper into the rocks and I watched a fish jump into the air, "Hurricanepaw! Can you hear me?"

I jolted my attention back to Hollywater " You can't just stall off as an apprentice, I asked you a question, how do you think you would stalk a mouse?" Hollywater said with an edge in her voice. No cat listens to this cat, all she does is talk, why should I have to listen to her chatter about nothing to hear a few important words. "Hurricanepaw! Stop dawdling! Stay focused! How do you think you would stalk a mouse?" hissed Hollywater clearly losing her patience. So much for patience I thought with a silent laugh.

"Block its hole so it can't get down and have your clanmate get the mouse" I said with annoyance. "That is an interesting strategy…" she said flatly.

"I heard my father talking about it, but of course if you guys cared about him you would know," I hissed.

"Tsunamipaw is not moping around telling every cat you dont care about my father and acting like a jerk, no she is working hard and making her father proud like you should be doing!" she hissed back.

I growled and trotted ahead trying to ignore her words. Was I acting like a jerk? No I was not! The other cats were! And Tsunamipaw was no better, and Hollywater is one to talk, her father is safe in the elders den! My father died, and no cat cared! No cat even noticed he was gone! Why were the cats so cruel? I growled and kept walking, Hollywater close behind me, she was not an easy cat to make dislike you but I guess 4 moons of being cold and not the nicest cat to her is enough… wait no I was treating her fairly! She forgot my dad! It's not my fault!

We explored the rest of the territory exchanging a few words at each stop, it was a very silent journey, and I was fine with that, for once she was quiet, I stared in awe at our wonderful territory. It was great! With its wonderful tall, dark green trees that kept us safe. It almost made up for having an angry cat behind you, after exploring the whole territory we headed back to camp.

Harekit ran up to meet me "What was it like?"

I can't believe you were so calm I'd be screaming at the top of my lungs!" Squrrielkit added " What did you do? I bet it was super fun!".

"You should not do that, yowling at the top of your lungs would show you aren't worthy of apprenticeship and will never be, you have to be calm, like me, since I behaved properly," I scolded.

Harekit blinked at my tone "I was joking" and he left.

I glanced at Squirrelkit who was getting up to leave "What's his problem?" I asked.

"You sounded like a meanie face and bossy too," Squrrielkit said.

"Meanie face is a kit term, you're going to be an apprentice soon don't use it!" I scolded. Squrrielkit shot a glare at me and stalked off after her brother.

"I was only trying to set a good example and show im mature" I thought. I didn't even bother talking to Tsuanamipaw she was still mad at me because of quarrel two days ago, her and Littlekit. I felt sad and alone, why did nobody like me all of a sudden? Maybe Hollywater was right… no she isn't stop thinking the chatterbox is right I scolded myself and headed towards the apprentice den exhausted and worn out I curled up into a ball and tried not to pity myself too much.. I heard my sister settle in beside me and Reedpaw curl up in the back of the den. I closed my eyes and let sleep take me
