Episode 61: Max Is Back!

CHAPTER 1: KIDNAPPED!

The word was out about Thibault's kidnapping by his uncle Max. Rattler was a wreck over it as she wasn't able to stop him from taking her boyfriend. Cobra and Lucy assured her she did the right thing by calling his father. Cobra also notified Black Widow and the Spiders about what happened, and they knew folks who owned cars and motorcycles who could travel distances if a rescue was in order. The rest of the gang were also on the lookout for Max and Thibault. The police were also involved and had a description of Max's car, complete with license plate numbers. An APB was placed on Max, immediately, due to the fact he was told never to come in contact with Thibault, and broke the rules.

At Rattler's place, after the police asked her questions about the kidnapping, she sat with Cobra, Lucy, Dominick, and Schroeder. She had been crying and upset about this.

"I'm going to KILL that fat gorilla!" fumed a furious Rattler. "HE IS GOING TO PAY, NO MATTER WHAT!"

"Right now we need to find that fat gorilla," said Cobra. "And also find out where they are headed."

"They could be halfway across the country by now," added Lucy.

"Still we should try to find them," said Dominick.

"Any word on Widow and those connections she has?" asked Lucy.

"She said they are coming to Sparkyville as of right now," said Cobra. "They will be here tonight."

"I will bring the PAIN ON HIS FAT HEAD!" Rattler screamed, making Andy jump in shock. "Sorry, boy. Didn't mean to scare you."

Somewhere in the countryside, Max was driving with Thibault to parts unknown. They were about fifty miles away from Sparkyville. Max was determined to get his nephew back to his old self in demeaning women and making them do chores and cook for their men. Thibault hoped he could withstand whatever his uncle dished out.

"We have a ways to go, son," said Max.

"Where ARE we going, uncle?" asked Thibault.

"I have a cabin in the mountains in Colorado. It's secluded and we can live off the land. Once I've fixed you, only then will I return you to Sparkyville, safe and sound." Thibault was worried. His uncle was hell-bent on reverting him back to what he used to be. He thought about how he was going to get out of the situation he was in.

Later Max pulled up to a mom-and-pop diner out in the middle of nowhere. All that was there was the diner, a gas station/service garage, and a motel. Max booked a room at the motel so they could sleep for a while. He hoped no one would recognize them and call the authorities before they left the next morning. At the diner, Max and Thibault got something to eat. Max had a gun under his jacket in case 1) Thibault made a break for it and 2) someone would try to intervene and rescue Thibault. They both ate their dinner and after paying went straight to their motel room. Max handcuffed his nephew to the bed post so he would escape in the night. They had a long drive ahead the next day.

Back in Sparkyville, Rattler was outside on the porch when Charlie Brown and Frieda were walking up. They had heard about what happened to Thibault and was concerned about Rattler's mental state.

"Hey, Rattler," Charlie Brown greeted.

"Any word about Thibault?" asked Frieda.

"None," said a weepy Rattler. "I'm worried, guys. If that Max does anything to my Tee Wee, I'd never forgive myself."

"I'm sure the authorities are on the case right now," assured Charlie Brown.

"We will remain vigilant, as well, hun," added Frieda.

"Thanks, you two," sniffed Rattler. "I think I want to be alone right now, if you don't mind."

"No problem," said Charlie Brown. "Don't hesitate to call me or Frieda if you need anything."

"Hang in there, Rattler," said Frieda. And the two left. Rattler started crying again.

"Where are you, Thibault?"
