It has been 5 years since they were born. The 3 triplets that would cause so much mischief when they were 14. They were chirping at Donald to tell them a story. Huey suggested a story about a squirrel family. Louie asked for a story about money and power. But Dewey, he asked to hear about their father.

Donald wanted to move on, but the other two agreed. There was no way to get around it. He eventually had to give in. He sighed and looked at them with tears in his eyes. He hoped that they wouldn't remember this.

"Ok, so first, I used to go adventuring with Della, Scrooge, and your father."

Huey became curious. "What was our father's name?"

"Ronald J. Duck." He started.

'He was an amazing man. He treated everyone with respect and always did what they wanted.'

Donald looked up at a picture on the wall of what seems to be a strong and hefty man. He wore a white button up suit with an orange under shirt. His pants were brown with bunches of little pockets.

'Gosh did Della love him. I can't blame her.' He looked at the kids. 'We were on a boat, deep at sea. It was dark and was about to storm when Black Duck pulled up against our ship. They had a grudge against us, and they were trying to settle this once and for all.'

It transitions to a flashback with everything going white. Thunder roared as if an explosion had rang through the sky. Black Duck laughed with anger hinted in his voice. He jumped from the sail and landed in front of Della.

'Argh. Look who we have here.' They could all hear the maniac in his voice. 'We still have not settled our deal from last time matey.'

Della growled. She hated his guts. She looked down and saw the peg leg he wore where his foot should be. He notices her staring at it and laughs.

'Thanks for the kiss goodbye.' He motions towards his peg leg. 'I built this leg straight from an oak wood tree.'

She looks up. 'And you'll have to build another!'

She then grabs a sword from his waist belt. She points it at him, specifically at his neck, and stares straight at his eyes. He laughs and reaches a hand behind him. He pulls out an amazingly made, curved steel sword.

He throws it against Dellas's sword and pushes it down. He then pulls away but Della catches his sword. She tries to push it towards him but his strength has grown since their last duel. He pushes his sword away and flings Della's sword out of her hand.

It goes flying as he knocks her down. He raises his sword and is about to bring it down when Donald sees. He was restyling another pirate. He screams at Ronald, Della's wife, to save her. He looks at Della and the pirate and immediately throws off the pirate he was restyling.

He grabs the pirates sword and runs for Della. Just as Black Duck brought his sword down on Della, Ronald put his sword in front of her face, blocking Black Duck. He looks at his opponent and raises his sword.

With one mighty swing, he jabs it into Ronalds side. He screams in agony but kicks Della away. She stops rolling in front of Scrooge, who is watching the whole thing, but still trying to keep balance in the rickety boat deep at sea.

Ronald raises his sword and brings it down. His sword penetrates it's target. Black Duck, instead of screaming in pain, looks down. The sword had gone through his peg leg. He laughs and looks at the pitiful man and rotates his sword in Ronalds side. He pulls it out, but it luckily only left a small hole.

Ronald screams in pain when his flesh is ripped out and Black Duck laughs. 'Did you really think you could beat me?'

Ronald gasps. 'No, but that could.'

Be points at an approaching wave. It was the size of an elephant and Black Duck gasped in terror. He reached for the sword, but couldn't pull it out. Ronald was still holding on to it. Black Duck raises his sword and brings it down on Ronalds left arm, but it was too late. The wave swallowed them both.

The flashback transitions to real time as Donald, Della, and Scrooge are screaming.

"And we never saw them again." Donald finishes.

The boys clap, thinking it was only a story, unknowing of what they had in store for their future. Donald smiles at the fact. He leans down and kisses each kid on their cheek. He says goodnight and heads for the front door.

15 YEARS LATER

Someone with a torn white suit, a wooden left arm, long black pants, and sandy feathers was picking up coconuts. It was definitely male as he was walking along. He suddenly came to a beach.

He walked into a hut and placed the coconuts down. He grabbed a stone knife as he cut them open and started to drink it. He got done and wiped his mouth. He got up and walked out the hut and walked towards the shore.

He stood on a rock with one foot and put his hand up to his eyes. "Darn it, no ships." His voice was a little rasp.

However, this was a Duck. He wasn't just any duck actually. He was Ronald J. Duck, Della's old husband.

He pulled out a picture and stared at it. His eyes traded up at the picture that had 3 eggs on it. He frowned and held the picture in a hard grip on his side.

"I'm coming home, boys. I will."
