Episode 5.2

Being picked up and carried to the other side of the street was not what Andi expected. She felt dizzy, she didn't know why, but she just did. All she saw was red, looking up at her and Annie's savior, she saw a man with white hair that looked like he hadn't brushed it in days. He looked at her with worry and anger as he continued to hold her.

"Andi! Andrea!" The man called her name, but Andi still didn't respond. "Pinky!"

"B-Brain, what happened to Andi?"

Annie started crying, Gwen looked like she was too, Andi didn't want her sisters to cry. Brain didn't let go of his grip on his oldest daughter, no matter how many people started showing up.

"Da...Daddy? Papa?" Andi asked.

Brain looked at his child and made her look at him, despite how much dizzy the nine-year-old felt and how much taller she was getting than Brain. Andi stumbled, nearly fell multiple times, as they walked. Brain was the only reason that she was staying up. She was scared, really scared, but Brain's grip on and Pinky soon grabbing onto her left hand with his right while carrying Annie in his left arm and letting Gwen ride on his back.

"I-I'm sorry, daddy, papa, I'm...I'm so sor-sorr-"

"Shh, Andi, it's okay, it's okay baby." Pinky reassured his daughter.

Brain squeezed Andi's hand as an agreement to what his husband was saying. "It's going to be alright, Andi. We're going to get you to the house and everything is going to be okay, okay?"

Andi nodded, being in a house that wasn't connected to a laboratory sounded way nicer. "Okay."

"Annie, I know, I know, it hurts."

That's what Andi heard as she got out of the shower dressed in her new pajamas and headed to the room that she would be sharing with her sisters in their parents's house. Gwen sat on the edge of the bed as she slowly bounced Annie up and down to comfort the baby.

"Teething?" Andi asked and Gwen nodded.

"Dad's getting a teething ring as well as diapers, formula, and baby food from the store. Papa's making food for us." Gwen informed her older sister.

Andi nodded and started drying more of her hair off. Gwen scooted towards one of the tables on the left side of the bed and opened the drawer. She took out a camera and held it towards herself and Annie.

"Say cheese!" Gwen said.

The baby girl that she held looked at her confused and before she knew it, a flash came from the camera. Annie watched as her sister pressed the button again and the flash happened again.

"Flashy?" Annie looked at Gwen. Pinky arrived at the door soon after.

"Gwen, Andi, food's done." Pinky announced to his two oldest adopted children.

"Me too, papa?" Annie pointed to herself while holding onto the camera.

"No, Annie, your daddy isn't back yet." Annie frowned to what her parent said. "But, you can sit with your sisters and wait for him."

Annie smiled at that. "Okay!"

Annie sat down next to her on the bench across from her two older sisters as they ate their mac and cheese. Pinky kept one hand on his daughter's back for balance and watched as his husband come in carrying grocery bags.

"Hi Brain! Narf!" Pinky greeted his spouse.

"Hi daddy!" Gwen and Annie greeted together.

"Hi dad." Andi greeted after swallowing her mac and cheese.

"Food?" Annie asked her father and he nodded his head.

"Got something for you, too, Gwen." Brain added.

Brain had Pinky help him take the cake out which was chochlate and help put the seven candles and lit the candles. Gwen smiled as she felt her adoptive parents kiss both of her cheeks after they finished singing to her and she blew her candles out.

"Happy birthday, Gwen."

Gwen's smile got a little bigger. "Thank you."
