A/N: SO yeah...Long time no see. I've been busy with college, so a lot of you know may no that reason. So I'll also explain the other stories, My Ever After High one won't be updated for a long while, as I've sort of lost interest in their world. I do want to finish it, but I don't want to share a plot that goes nowhere. For this story, most chapter will just be "OC" insert, but I won't make me overshadows anyone, or under play him. So the challenge here is making sure I have fun writing while making sure it is written well enough. So enjoy this attempt.

In a room, filled with various game consoles, ranging from portable consoles, to fully built systems scattered around the room. We see a young man downloading a new game.

His black hair reaching below his neck, his pale skin is illuminated by the desktop's lights. His brown eyes glued to the screen, he adjust his loose gray shirt and baggy pants. He also has a small bone bracelets on his right hand.

While waiting for his game, he is listening to some music. On his headphones the name "Nate" is labeled on the side, and the name "Surfaces" is showing on his phone. Bopping his head to the mellow beat, he waits for his game to finish downloading.

At that moment, knocking was heard outside his door. It continued till he finally notices it, getting up from his chair, he removes his headphones and opens the door, already knowing who it is.

"Yes Mom?" He asked, tiredly.

"Nathaniel Pierce, do you what time is it!? It's already 6am young man, and judging by your eyes bags, you spent all night playing games, again!" His mom, Katherine Peirce shouted at the tired young man.

Nate in turn just scratched his head, and yawn. "It's morning already?" He stretches his arms. "Well, Good morning Mom."

In response his mom smacked him on his head. "You don't just get to casually avoid the topic like that! Why do you always stay awake all night?! What's worse is it-"Nate cuts her off.

"Summer, yeah…and all the summer games that'll come out!" He says with excitement, only to be smacked again. "You only get excited when it's about games…well too bad you won't be able to do that this time." She smirks, making Nathaniel look at her questioningly.

"What do you mean…?" He hesitantly asks...

"Well do you remember Mr. Ridgemenount?" She asks. Nate nods. "Yeah your old batch mate from college, also the Owner of Surfer's Paradise."

"Yeah, glad you remember…well do you know they have job openings for the summer?" Nate shakes his head, all he knew was what his mom told him before of her old Classmate.

"No I don't, but what does- No…You didn't!?" At that moment, his mom gave him his duffle bag, a very heavy duffle bad.

"Yep I did. You're going to be part of his summer staff this year, isn't that great! This mean you can actually meet other teens!" She says cheerfully.

"Hey! I do have friends-"His mom cut him off.

"Friends on those online games don't count. I mean actual friends, and who knows…You might actually get a girlfriend~" She says with a smirk. Nate groans.

"Mom, I don't need a job, I do have friends, and I definitely don't need a girlfriend!" He says, but his mom waves his finders at him.

"Tsk, Tsk, Nothing can be done, I already sent the resume, and you got the job. You'll be leaving…Actually right now!" at the instance she pounces at him and grabs him. He tried to resist, but lacks the strength and is forced into the car, leaving there home in a fancy suburb.

"NOOOOOOOOOO…." Nate shouts as they drive off.

"OOOOO…." He continues to scream, albeit now still tired.

"Are you done yet?" Katherine asks, with him nodding. She smiles as they soon reach the board walk. They passed a sign saying "Sunset Beach", much to Nate's irritation.

"Well here we are." She stops the car and looks at him. "Well? What are you waiting for? You better get out before you miss your bus." She says with a smiles. Nate just shakes his head, before going out the door.

"Well…I guess goodbye mom, I'll see you at the end of summer?" She nods at his question. "Yeah, don't worry it's just 12 weeks and 3 days." She says marking down a calendar on her phone.

"I'm still surprised you marked that down. Well see yah." He says, as he waves her goodbye. She drives off...

Nate takes a moment to look around his surroundings, he sees a few buildings lining the other side of the road. They range from a Cinema, a Diner, A message parlor, and other tourist spots. Turning around he sees the boardwalk, He already sees a few teens walking to see the Ocean, which he steps away from.

As he does, his back hits something. "Huh?"

"Woah!" A girl's voice says behind him, as he turns, Nate sees a red haired girl. Her face with a few freckles. She is wearing a peach shirt and pink shorts, she rubs her head.

"What hit me…?" She looks up and meet eyes with Nate. The two just looking at each other, before another girl shows up to help the red head up.

"Are you okay?" This girl was a short hair blonde girl, she is wearing a green tank top, with a flower pattern pants. She then turns to Nate.

"Well aren't you going to say anything to her? You did bump into her." Nate attempted to say something, when another person decided to join in, this time it's a auburn haired guy, with a black T-shirt and short.

"Yo chill chick, I saw what happened and they bump into each other." He defended Nate, but the blonde got irked. "Yeah? Well he should have at least helped her up, not just stare at her like a creep."

At this point, Nate realized he messed up his first impression in town. He took a breath before slightly bowing. "Look, I'm sorry for bumping into you, and causing a scene. It was my fault for looking where I was going."

The red haired guy looked at him confused, while the blond just gave a nod. "Well girl, you okay with that?" The red haired girls just nodded.

"Y-yeah, it was just an accident anyway. Nothing to it." She gave a smile, the tension slightly lighter now.

Before anything further, they all heard a large cry of a whale…on land….

"What the heck was that?" The red haired guy asked as a big purple whale bus stopped in front of the four. It then spout water from the top of its head.

"My friend has to see this!" The blond giggles before taking a picture of it.

The doors of the bus opened and a guy in a killer whale costume was kicked out. With the driver calling out "Yo dudes! All aboard for Surfer's Paradise resort!"

At the same time, the mascot was now dancing with his beatbox playing an annoying beat…

The look on the four looks shocked at this…

"Did ya say….Surfer's Paradise Resort?" Nate asks, with the Driver nodding. "Yeah dude, Are any of you the new staff for the summer?"

They all raised their hands, and now looking at each other. "Your all working there too?!"

They all boarded the bus, and felt it moving…leaving the mascot behind. "Um, aren't you forgetting someone?" The blond girls asks the driver.

"Nope." He then presses the gas, leaving the mascot running.

"Well, what's up summer staff? I'm the Kahuna, I drive the shuttle for the hotel, so anytime you guys need a ride just find me." He says with a mellow smile.

"Well you groms, why not tell me your names. Starting with the ladies, miss red over there, you start us off." He asks, the girl jumping at the sudden introduction.

"Well I'm Emma." She says with a smile.

"I'm Fin."

"Nice name for some beautiful ladies." The red hair guy comments, making Fin cringe.

"Well you're up smooth talker." Kahuna asks.

"Well I'm Reef, I'm planning on winning Grom fest!" At this, Fin laughs. "What's so funny blondie?"

"You winning Grom fest? Please, I'm planning on winning it." She challenges, before Reef could counter, Nate coughs. "Maybe save that for later. Also I'm Nate if you were wondering." He says while also thinking…'What's Grom fest?'

"Nice to meet you all, I see you two are aiming for the prize. How you Emma and Nate?" Emma perks up at this question.

"I'm just totally happy to be here, it's been my dream to surf here." Kahuna smiles ate the girl's enthusiasm.

"Well Nate?" Nate shrug's as he answer.

"Mom forced me here, not wanting me to spend the whole summer trapped in my room playing games." Kahuna nods, albeit hoping Nate was a surfer.

"Wait, you aren't here for Grom Fest?" Reef asks, with Nate shrugging again. "No, heck I never even heard of it till now."

The three reacted as such…

"WHAT?!"

After the initial shock, and Kahuna explaining Grom Fest, The surfing tournament later in the summer to Nate, the all now arrived at the hotel.

As they exited the bus, Nate notices a blond dude napping in the fountain…When Kahuna honked the horn, it cause the guy to wake up, soaking himself again water.

He stretches his arm and slowly walks up to us. Kahua calls out to him "Dude, wake up you gotta to punch in at 10 minutes. You don't want to get canned on your first day?"

He yawns and wipes his eyes. "Ugh, what times is it?" Nate checks his phone. "Almost 12."

"Man I slept in-" Then he notices Emma and Fin, clearly checking them out. "Girls I don't know wassup! I'm Broseph" He says, placing his arms on their shoulders. Fin giggled at this.

"Rough night?" Borseph shrugs. "Oh you have no idea." At this the rest of them decided to step into the hotel, with Broseph in tow.

A/N: Just a short intro, as you can tell, I'm trying not to just copy paste the shows script, and primarily focusing on one scenario. I may occasionally shift scene, but only if it helps with the plot, also you may have all noticed I'm focusing on the events where Nate is. Well, I don't want to use 1sr person, so this is the best alternative. Leave a review and I hope you all enjoyed.
