"She's in here," Woo said as he brought Mystique Sonia and Mighty Ray into Big Green's library.

Earlier that morning Woo had gone to the library to do some research for a new invention when he found Autumn passed out at a table surrounded by books and melted candles.

Sonia managed to wake her up and asked what she was doing there.

"Nightmare…Lin never came back last night….. I sleep now…" she said before falling back asleep.

"I got her." Mighty Ray said picking Autumn up like a sack of potatoes and carrying her out of the library.

"Put her in bed!" Sonia called out.

"I know what to do." He called back.

Woo pulled at his mustache in thought. "It's not like Lin Chung to stay out so late and not come back. Something must have happened to him."

"I'll go looking for him," Sonia said before leaving.

"Be careful!" Woo called out before turning to the books Autumn had been reading the night before.

"Hybrids: Fantasy or Reality? That girl reads way too much fiction." Woo said shaking his head.

Lin Chung woke up to the taste of copper in his mouth.

"Ug…. What happened…?" He said as he sat up.

Looking around he found himself in the middle of the woods. Looking down he found his clothes were in tatters and his arms and legs were covered in cuts and bruises. As he stood up his muscles screamed in agony, making him stumbled as he walked. He stopped at a creek and leaned over to get a drink, but when he saw his reflection he jumped back in fear.

His eyes were bright yellow and he was still in his hybrid form. He tried to switch back to his human form but he realized he couldn't as fear began to overtake him. He couldn't remember what had happened last night. He had vague memories of running through the woods but that's all.

"Lin Chung? Is that you?" Sonia said coming out from a bush.

"Sonia!" he said in relief. "I'm glad to see you."

"I wish I could say the same," Sonia said with her hands on her hips. "You never came back last night and where did you get that collar?"

Lin Chung looked down and noticed the collar around his neck.

"I don't know," he said worriedly. "I can't remember anything from last night."

"Well hurry up and change back," she said. "Autumn's going to be worried sick if she wakes up and you're still not back."

"I can't," He said. "I can't change back. It's like something blocking me from turning back into my human form."

Sonia eyed the collar. "Let me try something." She said as Yaksha reached for the collar.

Lin Chung grabbed Yaksha's arm and yanked him off of Sonia's head with a threatening growl growl.

"I swear if you touch me I will rip you into confetti!" The hybrid growled at the pink gremlin/hat.

Sonia pulled Yaksha back. "Okay, something's defiantly wrong," Sonia said hugging Yaksha.

Lin Chung shook his head. "I'm sorry. I don't know where that came from."

Sonia thought for a moment. Back when she studied magic with her friend Ah Cy they did a project on cursed objects, and while she didn't know anything about this particular item, she knew that cursed items were big trouble. If not dealt with immediately things would only get worse.

"If anyone knows anything about this kind of stuff its Tiger Lilly or Charging Bull," She said as Yaksha formed a cloak around Lin Chung, careful not to touch the collar. "We need to get you back to Big Green and see if they can help."

Lin Chung sighed in relief. "As long as Autumn doesn't see me."

Sonia frowned. "You need to tell her who you are. She deserves to know."

Lin Chung winced. "I don't have a choice do I?"

Autumn woke up around noon and stretched her arms, and the first thing she saw was Wu Fan standing at the base of her bed.

"Hello, my plump cherry blossom." He smirked.

The redhead screamed and threw a hairbrush at her former captor, causing him to disappear. She got out of bed and searched the room for the green-eyed man, but found no one.

"Autumn are you okay?" Ape Truly asked as he threw the door open.

"W-Wu Fan… I-I t-thought… He-he was just…" She stuttered before falling to her knees and broke down into tears.

The disguised monkey wrapped his arms around the young woman and let her cry on his shoulder. Eventually, she calmed down enough

"Thank you…." She sniffled.

"How long have you been having these visions?" he asked.

"This is the first one…" Autumn said. "Am I going crazy?"

Ape Truly shook his head. "You are not going crazy." He said firmly. "You will get better Autumn, it just takes time. For now, I'm relieving you of duty. Go relax and try to have some fun."

The redhead nodded and got up. "Thank you, Commander. Maybe I'll see if Blayze will let me paint him or something."

Autumn grabbed her paints and went to find Blayze. Once she was down the hall the red monkey leaped onto her shoulder.

"Apetrully said you were looking for me?" He asked.

"Yeah," Autumn said with a smile. "Would you let me paint you?"

"Of course!" The monkey said.

The human and the monkey made their way to the bamboo forest. While Autumn looked for the perfect spot to paint Blayze picked bamboo shoots and apples off of nearby trees. The girl set up her easel and paints while Blayze jumped up on a rock, and began posing. Autumn laughed at the goofiness of the monkey.

"Okay, just like that! Hold that pose!" Autumn said as she began to paint.

The Monkey King stood in a dance pose as Autumn painted him. He had chosen a pose from one of the many dances from the Monkey Kingdom.

"I heard monkeys are amazing dancers," Autumn said.

"It is true," the red monkey said with pride in his voice, puffing out his chest. "We have many dances that mean different things and even our fighting styles follow many of our dances, similar to what you call Capoeira."

"Well, you'll have to teach me sometime." She said as she guided the brush against the canvas.

"All right, the coast is clear," Sonia said as she peeked around the corner.

She and Lin Chung darted down the halls of Big Green until they came to Tiger Lilly and Charging Bull's room. Sonia knocked frantically on the door.

"Tiger is me, Sonia, open up!" She said in a hushed voice.

Tiger Lilly opened the door. "What's up?"

The healer hadn't changed much since she first came to Big Green, she still wore her long black hair in a long braid but now she wore clothing more common around the rest of the kingdom rather than her tribal clothing. The only big change was the loss of her left hand. She had been sent to try to make peace with Honey Badgers and a fight ensued that caused her to lose her left to Honey Badger Prince.

"We have a bit of a problem," Sonia said as she took Yaksha off of Lin Chung.

Tiger Lilly jumped back in surprise. "Get in here." She said pulling him in.

Lin Chung growled and slapped her hand away. "Don't you dare touch me, you wench!" He growled.

Tiger Lilly quickly pulled her hand away. "Okay, something's defiantly wrong." She said as she spied the collar. "Oh, that explains it."

"You know what this collar is?" Sonia asked as she and Lin Chung sat down.

Tiger Lilly used her magic to pull a book off of the shelf and began to look through it. "It's not a collar," She said stopping at the page and showing to them. "It's a ring that belonged to a powerful Moon Soldier named Hēi Mófǎ. The ring is cursed so that come sundown the wearer becomes a were-beast."

"But I wasn't wearing the ring, someone must have slipped it into my pocket." Lin Chung said.

"It doesn't matter, if it was on your person then you would be affected by the curse and it only gets worse from here," she said. "By tonight you'll become more aggressive and possessive. By tomorrow you will become a were-panther permanently."

Lin Chung gulped. "Can't you get the ring off?"

Tiger Lilly shook her head sadly. "The only person who can take it off is a moon soldier. You're going to have to ask Autumn to do it."

Lin Chung got up. "I'll go find her." He said and left with fear in fear in his heart.
