THE TYRAN AND HIS GRANDFATHER

Alex had just dropped off his son with his grandfather, Johnny Eames.

Each time, she reminded her son to be nice to him. But she knew it wasn't really worth it, because her son was adorable with his grandfather.

He knew that his grandfather had the beginnings of Alzheimer's disease, and therefore that this one could easily forget where he was and who he was, but in his cases the little one was very attentive!

He adored his grandfather and was always happy to see him!

Even though his grandfather was losing his mind, Frank loved him.

Alexandra in his sides there recognized well in him her father!

The little one was very responsible!

But why was he always so wild with them, and especially with his father!

Alex felt sorry for Bobby who always did everything for his son, and that this one was very hard on him!

- So Frank ...! Johnny invited the little one to sit next to him. So how did you end up in the special unit?

Eames raised his eyebrow, questioning the little one, who was shaking his hands, and lowering his head.

- It's daddy's fault!

Johnny refrains from laughing!

As if his father was responsible for all the nonsense he did.

Eames stroked the little one's golden curls affectionately.

- No, you know that is wrong!

Johnny Eames knew that this anger the little one was feeling was this need to have his father with him, but that he was too busy with his work, that he didn't necessarily have time to take care of it!

He remembered that one of his sons had had the same reaction!

The little one with shining eyes and tears looked at his grandfather who smiled at him inviting him to speak.

- Daddy doesn't love me! He prefers his job to me!

Johnny Eames was right. This little one thought his father didn't like him, when he was wrong! He had seen how Goren was with his son! That this one adored his son despite the behavior that this one had towards him.

He remembered the day little Frank was born and the joy Goren had felt in holding his son in his arms!

He was a very proud daddy and kept saying it, even now!

Johnny stood up, grabbing a small picture.

He handed it to the little boy who took it and looked at it.

In this photo, it was holding Alexandra on Bobby's arm, who was holding their children in his arms.

- It's mom and dad!

Johnny nodded, smiling.

- Your father adores you more than anything! He went to sit down next to the little one, continuing his story. The day you were born was your father's happiest day. The little one looked at his puzzled grandfather, not daring to believe him. He adores you! And always speaks well of you to me, despite everything you put him through! He put his hand on the little boy's. I know what you're feeling ! One of your uncles had the same behavior towards me! The work we have in common makes your father very monopolistic and he can't always be there for you! He doesn't do it against you, but for you! One day you will understand!

The little boy was looking at his grandfather.

So had he been like that with one of his uncles too?

How was that possible!

He returned his attention to the picture, looking at the man holding him.

He didn't hate his father, of course he loved him!

But he had always believed that this one didn't like him, because he was never there, or at least he had thought he was running away from him.

But what his grandfather had said made him think.

He had to try to be nicer to his father.

- I would try to be nicer to daddy!

Johnny stroked his grandson's golden hair.

He loved this little boy, who looked strangely like his second son.

He had inherited a lot from the Eames side!

But when he saw the little boy's gaze resting on him, he saw his father!

Whether he liked it or not, he really was his father's son! As tortured as this one!

Goren had let Eames go looking for his son.

He preferred to avoid the boy's cries and his rejection.

He loved his son, but it never happened with Frank, pushing him away.

He was trying to be strong, but he was hurt by this rejection.

Alex was telling her not to worry, that their sons loved her.

She knew what Goren was feeling inside and it still pained her.

Goren was hugging her at night, he was so unhappy that their sons were like that with him.

She always stroked his ebony curls to soothe him, otherwise he couldn't sleep.

He resented the rejection of his son.

But Alex knew that his son loved his father, but they both couldn't understand each other.

When the door opened, she saw little Frank standing up, a picture in his hand.

He placed a kiss on his grandfather's cheek, rushing to his mother's legs.

- Mom !

She stroked his pretty blonde head.

- Thanks for today, dad!

The old man looked at his daughter, waving his hand.

- It was a pleasure !

Alex took his son's hand, who waved goodbye to his grandfather.

- Mom ?

The little boy was questioning his mother.

- Yes ?

He held his hands, not daring to look at his mother.

- I'll try to be nicer to daddy!

He had raised his head, looked at his mother with all the seriousness he could have.

Alex knew Frank loved his father, but like each other, he didn't know how to express him!

She smiles.

What his father might have told the little one that there was a sudden turnaround.

His father was always a keen observer, despite his illness.

The door opened.

Alex let Frank pass who will run towards his father, smiling and handing him a picture.

- Look daddy what dad gave me!

He looked at his mother, questioning her with a look.

She nodded, not knowing what was happening.

Goren took the photo in his hands, looked at it and stroked it gently.

Alex walked over to him, putting his hand on his shoulder.

He put his hand on hers, gazing at the young woman.

He remembered that day, when he had been so proud to show his son to his wife's family.

His gaze darkened.

His son didn't like him.

He set the photo down on the table, heading for the bedroom.

He didn't want them to see his sadness.

Frank watched as his father walked away.

He questioned his mother with a look.

- What's wrong with daddy?

The young woman smiles at her son.

She took the place where it was, Goren, grabbing her son's hand.

- Your daddy is unhappy because he thinks you don't like him!

- But it's wrong !

Frank had shouted his words, which made Alexandra smile.

- Go see him then, he'll be happy!

The little boy nodded, and went looking for his father.
