*Beep* *Beep* Beep* The sound of Maya's phone going off. Groaning, Maya reached over to her phone and looked at the time. 7AM. She sighed. It was time for school. It has been six weeks since Cam left her; She didn't want to go to school. Everyone kept looking at her like some sort of pariah. Eyes of pity and sadness. That's all she ever saw at Degrassi these days. Six weeks.. Six weeks since he... Nevermind.

Maya sighed and sat up from her bed. Last night felt real. She thought to herself. I don't know what's going on. Why am I starting to get dreams of Cam now? Shaking her head, she dismissed the thought. Her stomach started not to feel great, so she got up and ran to the bathroom to empty out her stomach. Damn pizza. She thought to herself. She ate 3 day old pizza, and it probably wasn't good anymore. Whatever. She wiped her lips and went to brush her teeth.

It took Maya about 20 minutes to get ready. Usually would take her about 10, but lately she's been a little more sluggish, lazier. Maybe it was because of the fact that School was ending in a couple of weeks. Katie was headed to Stanford and she wasn't sure how sophomore year was going to be. Cam would have been a Junior. Probably the Captain of the Ice Hounds once Dallas leaves. She thought to herself.

"Maya! Let's go! Hurry up slowpoke!" Katie shouted in the kitchen. Katie was worried about her baby sister. With everything going on, she's afraid of leaving her sister alone once she graduates. Her parents were able to let her go to NYC for the summer with Marisol, Mo, Jake, Eli and Clare before heading off to College. She was excited, yes. But after the events of Campbell Saunders, she just wasn't sure leaving Maya was the best idea anymore. A couple of weeks ago she was making out with some random dude she met at a party! What was his name? Harold? Harry? She shook her head and dismissed that thought. Maya had gotten caught with that dumb boy in the livingroom, and Katie was able to get through to her. Ever since then she's been grieving the loss of Cam to what seemed to Katie was a little more proper than making out with randoms to stop Maya's pain.

Maya walks down the stairs and looks at Katie, "Okay. Im here. Sorry. I've just been a little more and more tired."

"Okay, chicken little. It's okay." Katie rubs the back of Maya's head.

Maya started wearing a lot of black lately. Today she's wearing an all black plain shirt with a white jacket, black distressed jeans and her combat boots. Not sure why she started wearing black, but Maya felt comfortable. She always thought that clothes could always tell how a person's personality. And at this point, she felt like she had something a little more dark inside of her, something empty. And it was all because of Campbell fricking Saunders.

Both Katie and Maya hopped into the car and headed off to school.

Degrassi wasn't far from them, probably a 5/7 minute drive, but Maya was thankful that she didn't have to walk to school. She would have gotten lost in her thoughts again and she'd do anything not to feel the emptiness that was left inside of her.

"Maya!" Tori called for her as she approached the steps of the school.

Maya smiled, Tori was her best friend. She was prettier than her. Black curly hair flowing down to her mid shoulder. She had fair skin, brown eyes and she had an amazing sense of fashion. Today she wore her long grey cardigan with a dark blue dress and black booties.

Maya, Tori and Tristan had been best friends since school started, inseparable since. Well okay, maybe that one time she had a crush on Zig back in the beginning of the school year. Oh and let's not mention that Tristian had a crush on Cam and used Maya's FaceRange to message him. Oh good times. Maya thought.

"Hey Tor. Whats up?" Maya said.

"You cannot believe what happened!" Tori squealed, grabbing onto Maya's shoulders.

"What? What?" Maya started getting excited for Tori. She couldn't help but feel happy for her.

"I get to go to LA this summer! They're gonna let me stay with my Aunt and I get to check out all of the fashion schools!" Tori said.

Maya tried her best to keep her face from falling. "Really" Wow Tori! That's amazing! I'm so happy for you." she said. Okay. Now her morning has been getting a little worse. She was hoping she had the entire summer with Tristan and Tori. Keeping herself away from all those negative thoughts. If she thought she felt alone with Katie leaving for NYC for the summer and headed off to Stanford, she felt even more alone now.

Tori was so excited, she couldn't wait to tell her best friends. It was a dream to be able to hang with her Aunt Ava in LA. Her aunt was a fashion designer and she would be able to help her get into the schools of her dreams!

As they walked into the halls of the schools, they saw the familiar Red and black Letterman Jackets. The Ice Hounds were in the halls today, which seemed really weird because they stopped loitering the halls since...

"Weird.. They're never in the halls anymore." Tori said.

"Yeah. I wonder what's going on" Maya said.

Like usual, everyone seemed to stare at Maya walking. Yeah yeah. Dead sophomore's girlfriend. Pity pity. Woohoo. She thought to herself. She thought about all the times no one paid attention to her. When she was just Maya Matlin, Band geek, younger sister of Katie Matlin. Now she's been dubbed "The dead kid's girlfriend."

Passing the Ice Hounds, they all turned their head to Maya. She realized they were hanging by Cam's Locker. Well, former locker.

"What are you guys doing?" Maya ask curiously.

"Oh. Umm. We're cleaning out his locker.." Luke Baker said. He sounded a little sad about it.

"Why? I thought his locker was cleaned out by his parents."

"No.. His parents came by that week, but they just couldn't do it." Dallas replied.

"Oh." Was all Maya could muster.

They all stood there silently looking down at the ground. Awkwardness filled the air.

"Hey Maya," Dallas finally said. "If you ever need anything, anything at all, we're here for you. I know we were not the best teammates to Cam-"

Maya Scoffed. "No you weren't." She started feeling hot. Of course they weren't good to Cam. They treated him like CRAP! She thought to herself.

"Had we known..." Owen responded.

"But you didn't. And now he's gone." Tears started to form in her eyes. No. Not right now. Not at school.

She suddenly felt Tori's hand on her shoulder. "Come on, Maya. Let's go." Maya nodded and headed down the hall, trying to wipe her tears away. She turned her head and she saw the sadness that filled the Ice Hounds. Especially Mike Dallas. He was Cam's Captain. He was supposed to be there for Cam. But they treated him like crap.

Bile started rising from Maya's throat once more. She started sprinting toward the bathroom to empty out whatever she had in her stomach. Again? She thought to herself.

"Oh my god, Maya are you okay?" Tori asked worriedly.

"Yeah, I had 3 day old pizza last night, I don't think it was good anymore." Maya groaned.

"Just your luck Huh?" Tori chirped.

"No. No it's not." Maya said as she scrunched her face. She got up and went to wash her hands and gurgled some water to spit out the aftertaste of her throw up. The first bell had just rung.

"Oh Maya! Let's go! I don't wanna be late for French again!" Tori said.

"Okay Okay. Hold your horses." Maya laughed. Tori tugged onto Maya's arm and walked toward French class, unknowing to them, an Ice Hound was watching them walk to class.
