I don't own Elena of Avalor but Diego is my oc

It was the weekend and Isabel had two of her friends Amara and Cristina over plus Amara's four year old brother Diego.

"Can we draw?" Diego asked.

"Sure, let me get everything ready," Isabel said putting a mat down on her bedroom floor, she didn't want Diego to make a mess.

"Cristina, can teach me how to draw a jaquin?" Diego asked. Cristina smiled and sat on the ground next to the four year old.

"What color do you want the jaquin to be blue like Zoom."

Amara looked at her brother and friend, she loved her baby brother and enjoyed her friends but sometimes it felt like Diego weather have Cristina as a big sister then her.

"Ammy, want to draw?" Diego asked.

"I know you are not good at it, but you are good at sports," Diego said not looking up from his drawing. Amara didn't go to her brother, she felt like Diego didn't look up to her.

"Cristina, I want to be like you when I grow up, you are the bestest artist," Diego said.

Amara left the room. She sat down by the jaquin fountain crying.

"Amara? Are you ok?"

Amara looked up to see Queen Elena, Isabel's big sister.

"No."

"What happened? Who are you mad at?" The queen asked sitting next to the teen.

"Cristina," Amara cried.

"What did Cristina do?" Elena asked, knowing out of her sister's friends Cristina was the kindest and nicest.

"She stole my brother. Diego probably wants her as his big sister instead of me," Amara cried into her legs.

"Amara, I know for a fact that is not true,"

Elena said.

"You do?"

"Amara, what are Diego's interests?"

"He loves the color blue, animals especially jaquins, art, dancing and anything fast," Amara said.

"He looks up to Cristina because she is an artist. I know how you feel, when Isa was about Diego's age she loved Santo the Science Jaquin and looked up to him. She carried her Santo stuffy around with her every were she went. And I got jealous of a fictional jaquin thinking that he stole my hermanita. One day when Isa was napping I hid Santo. My parents spent about two weeks looking for Santo. One night my papa asked me if I knew anything about Santo, and I lied. My papa told me that just because Isa looks up to someone else it doesn't mean she doesn't love me. I gave him back Santo who I have hidden in a pillow case and told him I was sorry, I did get in trouble but I learned a very important lesson."

"What was it?"

"The meaning of being a big sister is that you love your hermanita or hermanito no matter what. And you will always be there for them," Elena said standing up.

"Are you sure? You and Isa are close," Amara asked.

"Amara, I have been a big sister for fourteen years and I know that is true. Isa and I might not have the same interests, but I'm always there for her when she is hurt, sick, or scared even though she is now a teenager."

"Diego wakes me up when he has a bad dream before he goes to our parents."

"Amara, you will always be Diego's older sister, you will always be there for him and even if he looks up to someone else he still loves you," Elena said.

"Gracias, Elena," Amara said hugging the queen.

"Anytime, Amara."

Amara went back to Isabel's room were Diego ran up to her.

"Ammy, I drew Isa and Cristina as jaquins, I drew Zoom and his brother and sister as humans," he said pointing to everyone in the drawing.

"Good job, hermanito," Amara sighed.

"I drew us as jaquins, I'm the blue and green one that kinda looks like Zoom and you are the purple and green one," Diego said handing his sister a drawing. Amara looked at her little brother's drawing for a four year old Diego was a good drawer but his spelling not so much.

"Diggy what does it say?"

"I love you Ammy from Diggy," Diego said hugging his big sister. It actually said ' I Loue u Ammy form Diggy' the 'L' was backwards and the spelling was well spelling of a four year old but Amara couldn't be happier.

"When we get home, I'm framing this and hanging it up in my room," Amara said picking her brother up and hugged him.

"Do you like it?"

"Of course I do, my hermanito made it for me," Amara said putting her brother down. Elena walked into the room.

"Isa, I found someone," Elena said walking in her hands behind her back.

"Who?" Isa asked. Elena pulled out an old green and yellow jaquin plush that was wearing glasses.

"Santo the Science Jaquin, you found him," Isabel cried taking the toy from her sister.

"I know how much you loved him when you were little so I looked around in the attic and found him for you."

"Elena, are you the best big sister in the world," Isabel said hugging Elena.

"No, Ammy is the bestest big sister," Diego said. Amara pick him up.

"Diego, you are the best hermanito in the world."
