A/N: Welcome to the 100-word drabble challenge! This started out as a challenge to myself to write one drabble of exactly 100 words. I used an online random word generator as inspiration, and I wasn't allowed to skip the word. Then I wrote 13 of them, because it was so fun. By the way, I highly recommend this challenge if anyone is looking to shake things up a bit. It's really good for testing your brevity, your ability to squeeze something meaningful into a tiny word count, and your creativity based on a word that's utterly random.

We have a rather mixed bag in here: there's everything from the deep and philosophical to the light and humorous. I started writing mostly about Elphaba, and then somehow developed a fascination with Glinda. Glinda's mind is a very interesting place to be. Some of these might leave you thinking. Others might seem totally pointless. But hopefully, all of them will be entertaining. And if not, sue me. But this was rather fun.

This is also a quick-fire something-of-interest to show you while I work steadily on my next fic. More about that in the A/N at the end of this series in case you missed the preview at the end of my last fic, Features of a Rose.

I will be uploading a new drabble every two days.

"momentum"

There was no going back.

Sometimes it felt like she'd thrown herself down a hill, and who knew what condition she would be in when she reached the bottom? Bruised and battered, at least. Dead, probably. Who would care?

The Animals would care.

That, at least, was true. It was for them that she'd thrown herself in the first place. But it wasn't working. She had to go down faster.

Father isn't proud.

Faster.

Nessa is ashamed.

Go faster.

Fiyero loves her.

She wanted to stop, for him. But the momentum was too strong by now. So, he fell too.
