It was a cold night, one of those nights where everything is dark and even the flicker of a light scares you.

Seymour wondered why he decided to go out, he knew he was just going to be wasting time with a horrible, horrible man. His thoughts were interrupted by the passing of a motorbike. It was Orin.

"Well, hello" he said as he got off, looking down at Seymour.

"H-hi" he shiverered, wanting to run away from Orin and never come back again. Just to leave skid row and find a new place to live, like California.

Orin noticed him shivering, and took off his jacket. Seymour got worried for a second, before realising Orin put his jacket around him.

"Well, let's go"

Seymour just nod, and followed him inside the theatre. "S-so, what are we going to see?"

Orin turned round, already with popcorn and a drink in his hand. He just laughed.

"Just another horror film. Hopefully something gorey this time"

"H-horror!?" Seymour was already scared, he didn't even like the thought of being in a loud and crowded theatre, let alone watching some horror film.

"Come on kid, you'll be fine!" Orin laughs and nudges Seymour's arm. "Let's go and find our seats"

Seymour nodded. The walk to the room felt like ages; the walls of the hall seemed to drag on for ages, covered in massive movie posters that terrified Seymour.

He was suddenly pulled by the wrist into a room with a lot of seats.

"Well, seems like not many people bought tickets."

Orin muttered to himself, looking around the room. The only other people there were another couple and some guy who had brought a gumball machine into the theatre.

"So, where did ya wanna sit?"

"H-hm? Oh-" Seymour made his way to the very back of the room, and took a seat in the corner.

"Seriously? It's cold back here." Orin looked down and noticed he had stepped in spilt soda. "And wet." He shrugged it off and sat next to Seymour.

Seymour seemed to be holding onto Orin's jacket, and has zipped it up. He slowly reached out his hand and took a handful of popcorn, slowly chewing on it.

Orin just sighed and stared at the blank screen.

"You alright?" Seymour looked up at him.

"Yeah, I'm alright"

All of a sudden, the film began to start by playing some advertisements. Mostly for cars and food.
