BG: Oona's Bedtime Trouble

One evening, 2-year old Oona Shaskan sat in her father's arms while her mother was reading one of her favorite bedtime stories "Goldilocks and the three bears", she giggled as her mother made different voice impressions for each character, but the one that made her laugh the most was when she used a deeper voice for Papa bear's character.

When the story was finished, Mrs. Shaskan put away the book back on the book shelf, Oona started begging for another bedtime story but her mother yawned and shook her head no. "That was the last story for tonight, you have to go to sleep Mommy is very tired", Oona then turned to her father, "More story Daddy?" she asked but the purple-haired father also shook his head no "It's too late for another story honey"

Instead of throwing a tantrum, Oona obeyed her parents orders and crawled into her bed thinking her mom or dad was gonna stay in the room with her. "Goodnight sweetie" said Mrs. Shaskan as she gave her a goodnight kiss, ruffled his daughters hair "Sleep tight kiddo" he said before turning off the lights and closing the door.

After a few minutes of laying there,Oona decided she didn't wanna sleep in her room anymore so she hopped out of bed and headed toward her parent's bedroom, Mr. & Mrs. Shaskan were about to go to sleep when their bedroom door swung opened and there stood their daughter. "What's wrong Oona?" asked , Oona didn't say a word, instead she hopped onto her parent's king-sized bed and started getting under the blankets.

"Oona you have to sleep in her own bed" said , the purple-haired guppy stopped rustling around and began to cry, "Oona it's okay we're not going anywhere" said as he tried to comfort her, but the little guppy continued to cry thinking her parents were leaving her, but then knew what to do, so she scooped up her daughter and began to rock her.

"Shhhh everything is gonna be okay" she said in a gentle tone, Oona's sobs began to turn into sniffles, then her mother started to hum a lullaby, Oona stopped crying and started to calm down, and then she finally falls asleep, "We better put her to bed before she wakes up" said with a smile, So carried her sleeping daughter back into her room and tucked her in, before turning off the lights she kissed her good night and whispered "I love you sweetie" and then quietly closed the door.
