Author's note: It has taken me long, but because I wanted to make a really good story and find the best moment to do it. Finally it's here and your help is more than welcome, as always. Let's get overboard, lads!

1. Striking the Colors

"Fifteen men on a dead man's chest

Yo ho ho and a bottle of rum

Drink and the devil be done for the rest

Yo ho ho and a bottle of rum"

Since ancient times, sailors have asked for good fortune and weather in their journeys. Some brought four-leafed clovers, others turned to the gods and a few just set sail and crossed their fingers. Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't. It's all about trying (and using a good offering, of course). Buccaneers ain't so different in this department from regular spacers, I can tell you this much. The residents of the Spyglass are part of the crew of the Seven Pirate Brothers and, when they are not out there playing swashbuckling, they are here minding their crops, sending their kids to school and watching the Empire send their large vessels across the universe. Pretty much that's the song that has being playing for ages, but a pirate trial? Now that's a different story. If you remember, Goodsight and his men went in search for John "Jolly" Silver, Jim Hawkins, Morpho, BEN and Mss. Hawkins. I wouldn't had been bothered in the least if it wasn't for how serious it was.

I don't know if you guys know this, but Flint's trove wasn't just a pig pile of rocks. It was also one BIG pile of trouble. Why? Well, several reasons. One, he didn't share it with the rest of the pirates. Which is rude, plain rude. Just like that. Second, Flint wasn't the most popular guy among his peers. He had once tried to be the King of Buccaneers, the leader of the Six Brothers, and they told him to go find a bridge to jump. When that happened, Flint then fought to be the captain of the Blur Dragon (Devilfish's, remember?) and lost to Benjamin. This was a lucky event, for the lord of that vessel is the keeper of the pirate rules. It has been so for centuries, ever since the Blur Dragon became the pokey of misguided souls. Hence why, its captain is always picked so carefully. We, the gods, shake with that thought of having a bad guy in charge. And third, because that pile of trouble was Ma Baker's reason to die and why Silver lost half of his body. So, yeah! It was one big pile of nuisance. But I'm digressing.

A new day would soon dawn in the Spyglass and James Hawkins had many things to discover in this new place. Many related to his mentor, some to his empire and perhaps a few about himself. All yet to be found.

After all, what can a dead man have for a debt? When a dream is gone, what remains? The colors of the flags are striking, shanties are now in the air. We are here, mates! We are at the peak of treasures. Ahoy!

Little introduction to our story and so happy to be back!
