The Clone Wars rages on.

The forces of the Grand Army of the Republic and the Confederacy of Independent Systems divide the galaxy in fire and carnage. Planets key to the war become targets for both sides, their surface mired by Clone Troopers and Battle Droids. The local populace made victim of the fighting.

Now in its Second Year, both sides have reached a stalemate. Many wonder if the war is worth all the lose. And many believe it could last for years to come. Despite people on both sides hoping for some form of peace, no one could see that happening.

But as many battles waged on throughout the galaxy, a new player enters…

Chapter 1 We Are….

Devaron, High Orbit

On the planet of Devaron, a CIS force lead by the notorious bounty hunter, Cad Bane overran a Republic outpost and captured Jedi Master Bolla Ropal, taking into possession a memory crystal containing a list of thousands of force-sensitive children from across the galaxy. With both the crystal and the holocron stolen from the Jedi Temple in possession, he make to leave the system and get his money.

But a Republic fleet, lead by Anakin Skywalker, has just arrived and immediately began their attack on the enemy fleet. Attempting to cut off their escape with the stolen property at full speed.

Anakin Skywalker stands stern overlooking the battle from the bride of the Resolute as two Separatist frigate fall to the onslaught of his fleet's turbolasers.

"General," Admiral Yularen calls his attention from behind. "We're receiving an urgent transmission from the planet."

'Its not good.' He could feel it through the Force. Things are bad down at the outpost. With a last look out the window, he made his way to the comms pit. Ahsoka and R2 already waiting there.

The transmission shows a clone trooper firing his blaster at droids off the projector.

"General Skywalker, our base has been overrun. There's not possibility of evacuation. AHH!" The trooper takes a shot right to the shoulder piece but quickly recovers and resumes firing at the enemy. "They've taken General Ropal and the holocron memory crystal." A B1 droid entered the projection, trying to wrestle the troopers blaster off but is quickly pushed back and blasted.

"Do you know where they've taken them?" Anakin displays the urgency as he bends closer to the hologram while keeping his voice calm.

The trooper takes a moment to check his surroundings. "Sorry, sir. We tried to stop them but they left the outpost." Another B1 sneaked up on the trooper from behind, placing him in a lock and grabbing hold of his head. The trooper let out a scream before the transmission fell.

"Wait a second. There's too much interference." the Comms Trooper worked the controls to try to reestablish the link. He turned to the General and Anakin could already feel what he is gonna say. "Transmitter's been destroyed at the source, sir."

"We have to find out what ship Master Ropal is on." Skywalker immediately declared to Yularen.

The two jedi and Admiral returned to the forward area as the Resolute continued its haste to the planet. Its turbolasers slamming against another frigate that came to challenge it.

Anakin stood once more in front of the forward window. With news that Master Ropal taken off the planet, he focus on sensing the jedi through the force. Trying to ascertain which ship he could be on. His fleet has dealt a substantial blow against the Separatist ships. A sense of satisfaction rose within the Jedi knight but he did not allow it to reach the surface.

Weakening the CIS helps the Republic but it was not the mission.

"General." Anakin turned to see Yularen leaning over to a screen on ops, drawing his attention. "A Separatist command ship is fleeing the battle."

When Anakin sees the ship on screen, he knew that is the one with Master Ropal.

"You think they have Master Ropal on board as a prisoner?" Ahsoka asked next to him with worry.

"I'm sure of it." Anakin turns to address the Yularen. "Admiral, intercept them before they can jump to hyperspace. I'll ready the troops for boarding."

"Boarding?" Yularen repeated in surprise before giving the general rather crossed look. "We have no boarding craft. We were prepared to land on the planet, not aboard another ship. You can't be serious."

Anakin was not phased by his skepticism. "I am, Admiral. Thank you for your opinion. Now, target their hyperdrive. We don't want them-." It hit him without warning. An immense sense of vertigo took claim of his senses. Remaining upright felt impossible as he reach for anything to lean against while clinging to his head as the pain spiked.

"General!" It was dull but he could hear Yularen. His voice carrying concern even through the noise assaulting his hearing. He felt a hand on his shoulder and soon the disturbance overtaking him subsided enough to allow him to collect his bearings.

He turn to see Admiral. The concern and confusion in his face comes into focus as his vision returns.

"Are you well?"

Rather than answer the man, he look to his padawan who is sprawled on the floor holding her head with a trooper helping her sit up. It seemed that whatever that was, it didn't hit her as hard as him.

"Wha-What was that?"

Anakin could only respond to that with a meek, "I don't know."

Disturbances in the Force is a phenomenon he is not unfamiliar with. He has felt a great many since advancing in his teaching under Obi-Wan. The severity always varies depending on the cause of the anomaly. One could happen from an action that will have great consequences after a time. A terrible action can create a wave intense enough to disorient a jedi of sufficient strength with the Force.

This was different.

The only anguish was his own. Still is. He did not feel any pain through the Force. What he felt….he couldn't put it to words exactly. It left him confused. Feeling ill. He close his eyes and focus on using the Force to abate this sensation. But it did the opposite and he found himself taking a knee.

'Is it the Dark Side?'

"Sirs."

More than once has Yularen ask what did he do to get assigned with Skywalker of all jedi. The man has shown to be reckless and impatient. Too emotional to make the hard choices that come with war. And far to prone to brash and irrational decisions. Though he will admit, begrudgingly, that his unorthodox way of thinking has pull through for the Republic in the war more than once. Apart of him was curious as to how he planned to board that command ship.

Now he's worried for the man.

Drenched in cold sweat. Pale, clammy face. Dark, sunken eyes. Teetering stance.

The General went from a picture of health to having a foot in the grave in the blink of an eye.

He kneel to help steady the jedi when he fell to his knee. Color began to return but he was still a terrible sight as he took in deep breaths.

"Sirs." Yularen turn to the trooper by the comms pit. "We're receiving an urgent transmission from the Vindication."

Yularen narrow his brow as he did a quick look at Skywalker then back to the trooper. If the Vindication is in dire straight, then this could've been a ploy by the Separatist. Make us break away from the rest of the fleet to give chase to the escaping frigate. Could there have been more enemy ships waiting?

"Remain on course with that ship." he order the bridge. Far from trilled to once again be involved in Jedi matter, he will remain on mission like any soldier. "Have medics send to the bridge at once."

He left the jedi's side and made haste to comms. If the General gave any attempt to argue, he didn't notice it. Nor would be have responded if he did.

His return to comms is met with the captain of the Vindication. The transmission shows the man struggling to keep from falling. The sound of impact on his Venator's hull coming through.

"Admiral, they came out of nowhere. Started attacking both sides. They've taken out the Liberator and the Fortitude."Another strong impact came through as the captain almost lost his footing but managed to remain up.

This was the worst thing Yularen could hear. Half the fleet taken out and its clear the Vindication is next to fall. One thing did strike him as off. 'Attacking both sides?' "Captain, can you identify what you are engaged with."

The projection starts cutting in and out. They are losing the transmission. The captain looks Yularen in the face and starts forming a response but the communication shuts off.

"I'll reacquire the transmission." the comms trooper said but Yularen knows its pointless. "Communications with the ship are lost. But, sir." the trooper is quick to add. "We're still receiving the Vindication's transponder signal, as well as the other ships. They haven't been destroyed."

Surprise ran across Yularen's face before he made to collect his thought about this. The captain said that the ships were taken out and yet they haven't been sunk. Logically, this means that they are simply out of the fight. Crippled. Assuming the same thing happened to the Vindication, what could cripple three Venators in such a short time while also engaging Separatist force as the captain mentioned?

"Picking up new signals approaching fast behind us!" the sensor officer inform.

The entire ship shook with enough force to nearly cause the Admiral to loose his balance.

"Status report!"

"Engines 2, 3, and 5 are down, sir." a clone naval officer started. "Propulsion at 63% and dropping." Another shake and Yularen felt the impact travel up to the bridge. "Hyperdrive been taken out. All engines are down. We're dead in the water, sir."

Before Yularen could issue commands, a large object flew past the bridge at high speed. Blue streak like a comet sore right to the front and pass the ship. There is only one thing in that direction: the Separatist command ship. It collided right into the ship's engine housing, causing an explosion that knocks out two primary ion drives.

A rumble travel through the Resolute follow by a stronger quake that nearly made the Admiral lose his balance.

"Port side heavy turbolasers are all down!" A weapons operator reported before a series of smaller shakes are felt by the entire crew. "Secondary and tertiary weapon system along the port are failing!"

"Port side docking bay door have been hit. No breach."

"What is attacking us!?" Yularen race to the view windows. Every rock of the ship brought about constant damage reports. Port side weapons down, ventral docking hatch hit but not breached, and now the starboard weapons emplacements and docking hatch. What could possibly inflict this level of damage in such a short breath of time?

The Admiral came up to the window looking out at the ship's starboard area. The heavy turbolasers were wrecked beyond repair. Whole new ones will need to take their place. But that isn't what he concerns him.

Before he could scrutinize, a large object flew from starboard up and directly above the Resolute's dorsal area. A few meters higher than the command bridge and just around the mid section of the ship. From such distance and its relative angle, Yularen could only make out its green coloration before it released a high volley of missiles directly at the dorsal hanger doors. Tiny suns erupted from the hull as the missile came into contact along the surface, nearing the bow of the ship, causing the Admiral to take hold along the window sill to remain upright as the intense vibrations made the simple act of standing a chore.

When the obstructions dissipated, he look over the damage and it's not as bad as originally thought. No sign of notable hull breaches or any critical damage contrary to what those explosions should've done. But the damage to the hanger door, it's clear that they are incapable to opening just from visual inspection alone. A clone operator soon confirms it.

Then, without a single warning, something large rose up in front of the window, cutting out what light came through and causing Admiral Yularen to jump back in terror.

Dual yellow lights giving shine to the darken bridge.

Cad Bane made his way through the detention block to convince their jedi prisoner in unlocking the holocron. His client was very specific. The box needs to be open and able to read the information in the memory crystals or he won't see a single credit for his effort. The jedi fleet gave cause to hasten this job and now he's heard report that, all of the sudden, his guest has 'spontaneously' fallen ill.

'What have those fool droids done!'

"Sir! Captain, sir!" The annoying squeaky voice of a B1 called from behind halting Bane's walk as it divulge its report. "Our power converter has been hit so we can't go into hyperspace."

The bounty hunter took a moment to ponder this. He has reliable intel that state the Jedi did not come with boarding crafts. But he's seen the monks come up with unconventional solutions before.

"I wonder what the Jedi are planning?" he thought to himself out loud.

"It wasn't the Jedi, sir."

Bane's eyes snap right that the droid, ready to demand for an explanation.

The entrance into the block opens and before Cade Bane could turn to see, a sharp noise echo through the room.

BANG!

"AAAAAAHHHHHH!"

Admiral Wullf Yularen attention was pulled away from the window over to General Skywalker and Commander Tano. Both whom scream as strong as they could, gripping their heads in sheer agony before they simply slump down on the floor. Neither of them moving and he running towards their pale bodies.

"They're alive, sir. Just unconscious." The medical officer assures.

He made sure of that himself and found that they are both indeed still breathing as he came to kneel down next to them. But they remain in a terrible state of appearance. Pale complexion and cold sweat with dark, sunken eyes.

"What happened to them?"

"I don't know, sir." the medic continues to scan the two. "Its like their body functions went haywire. Doesn't make any sense?"

"Take them to the medical bay immediately." Whatever is wrong with the jedi, they'll have a better chance of discovering it there than on the bridge.

As the medics with trooper assistance take the jedi away, he return his focus on the culprit responsible for the current state of the Resolute.

A GIANT DROID!

Around twenty meters tall, green in color and aiming a large twin-barreled blaster attache to its right arm directly at the bridge. Over its right shoulder is a large cannon with a ludicrously wide bore for a machine its size.

The head most distinct with an appearance like a man wearing headgear. Face plate over the mouth area with two vent openings in the center and a red chin-like protrusion sticking out. On the forehead lay a red crest with white antennas coming out of the side in a high angle like a 'V' sign. Right above that appears to be a red sensor or camera unit.

The only thing its done for the last few minutes is simply float in place, keeping the arm mounted twin blaster pointed at the bridge. Its glowing dual optics peering through the windows. It almost feels like its directing them to stay put.

'Most incensive.'

"Sir." A naval officer came up. "Communications with the fleet has been reestablished." he whisper to the Admiral. A cautious choice which Yularan approves. "They're the same as us. But a distress call has gone out."

"And the Separatist?"

"They're no better off either."

"What about our forces on the planet?"

"Still no response, sir."

Only the distress call brought about a small degree of comfort but there's no way to know if they will arrive in time. Not to mention the high probability of the Separatist did the same. Its just a matter of who will arrive first.

"Any progress on the hanger doors?" If they can open the blast doors, they could deploy the walkers on the hull, using them in lieu of turbolasers. 'A tactic Skywalker would attempt.' he thought with a small frown.

The dour shake of the head told it all. "Thing hit us good, sir. Like it knew just where to strike and leave us drifting."

Yularen concurs with that assessment. This droid, along with its companion he assumes was the one who flew into the enemy command ship, crippled every ship in the fleet while simultaneously performing the same act on the Separatists in a short timeframe. The 'how' eludes him as such a brazen act should be impossible to accomplish no matter the circumstances. Yet it happened right here. So he focus on the 'why' of the matter.

Why did they attack them? Who were they? Why did they simply disable their ships instead of destroying them? A way to instill fear? A show of strength?

All just conjecture at this point. The only thing he can do now is just stand on the bridge and be a fix point for the crew to keep moral up. Staring at the end of the droid's weapon.

"Just what are you waiting for?"

Command droid JB-639 came up to MW-227's station. "Anything on those reinforcements?"

"Nothing yet."

"The bounty hunter hasn't called in a while, either."

"Probably taking his time with the jedi."

"I really don't like him." BH-020 said from the adjacent station. "What did we do to get assigned to him?"

Just as JB process a reply, the door to the bridge open and he turn expecting to see the bounty hunter approaching from above the ramp.

"Wait, who are you?" VN-931 security droid ask.

A series of short burst of what his processor concluded to be weapons fire came from the doorway and he saw the E-5s of UD-244 and QZ-615 thrown out of their manipulators in pieces. Leaving the droid with no weapons but otherwise undamaged.

The, now confirmed, intruder walk up into view. Its heavy footstep the first indication to what it was. Two point two meters in height. Relatively well armored. Primary white and blue in coloration. Head unit equip with dual sensors yellow in color. Notable feature being a simple looking V shaped fin in the center of its head.

It is a battle droid with no record in JB-639's databanks. It approach the command seat and place its free manipulator on the control panel.

"Is that a slugthrower?" QZ-615 ask, indicating its weapon.

"Not any I know of." LY-771 said.

"Should we do something?" said UD-244.

Ship wide alarm went off and the intruder remove its manipulator from the console, turn around and left the bridge.

"Ship wide evacuation order has been activated. Its been transmitted to the order ships. Its an executive level command. Do we follow it?" MW-227 reported and turn to JB for orders.

He processed this info. His orders are to follow the bounty hunter, the assigned captain. But an executive level order can only be done by the captain. And where is the bounty hunter? Did he leave the ship once he finished his job?

"I suppose we should." JB-639 concluded to follow the executive command.

Silence reign in the bridge. Only the ambient clatter of control consoles and footsteps came into people's ears as Yularen remain staring down the literal barrel of the giant machines blaster.

Then, all of the sudden, it lower its arm and flew up out of view.

Yularen stood stun by the sudden and rather innocuous action after being locked in a standoff all this time. "Where is it going?" he turn to the sensor operator.

"Its moving to the far side of the planet, sir."

"Sir, the command ship!"

Admiral Yularen turn back to the window, focusing on the Separatist Command ship. From the same area of impact, an object launch out of the breach leaving a blue trail like a comet and race toward the same direction as the giant droid. But that isn't the only thing that left the ship.

"Multiple shuttle crafts have launched from the ship. We're getting reports that they others are doing the same. They're leaving the system, sir?

That sent the Admiral into alert. They still had a mission to accomplish and anyone of those vacating ships could hold their objective. He moved to the sensor station and, indeed, the Separatist forces were leaving. "Is there any ship that can intercept them?" If any of the other Venators were in better condition than the Resolute, they might be able to stop them. He knows that one has a wing of Z-95s.

"Negative, sir. There's nothing we can do." the abdication in the clones voice stung.

Wullf Yularen went silent as he drop his head in defeat as each CIS shuttle craft just left the system. Unopposed.

The mission is a failure.

"Admiral, new ship just came out of hyperspace. Showing Republic IFF."

'Just the one?!' Yularen thought as he made his to the holotable in the rear of the bridge. The projection display what he assume is their reinforcement: A Consular-class cruiser.

The image switches out to show a trooper who gives a crisp salute upon seeing a superior officer. "Admiral, the Swift Return has arrive to assist you in any way possible."

"Not to sound ungrateful..." the Admiral addresses courteously. "...but I was expecting a larger force to arrive." A single Republic frigate wouldn't stand a fighting chance against their CIS counterpart, much less a force capable of crippling a fleet of Venators and Munificents in a short time.

"Unfortunately, sir, things have become heavily frantic. We're all that command could send your way." The trooper explain.

Yularen didn't take well his report. "What do you mean 'fantic', trooper? What has happened?"

"I'd advice you turn on the holocaster and see for yourself, sir. But what happened here was not an isolated event."

All over the galaxy, people stay glued to all holocaster sets as they bear witness to both Republic and Separatist forces be utterly decimated by strange droids that seem to have appeared out of nowhere.

They assaulted both sides. Be it on land, in space, or even under the sea. Wherever a major engagement is happening, they appeared. Causing both sides to retreat, cripple their ships, or just simply destroy them all.

And all displayed in astounding detail.

For the first time in the two years since the war began, both the Republic and the Confederacy have been made to halt.

Alright, everyone. This is the first chapter/rough draft of a plot bunny I've had in my head for a few years and now attempt to put into writing.

The base premise is simple: what if ALL the Gundams came in during the Clone Wars and go 'Celestial Being' on them. With the end goal being the eradication of what causes all the atrocities in the galaxy. The caveat is that I only the Star Wars POV, not the Gundams.

I'm not totally satisfied with what I wrote. In fact, the end cap there is not what I wanted to finish this off on as I wanted to show a few more Gundams post intervention in different locations around key points in the galaxy, but sadly I burned myself out.

I'll need a Star Wars expert to help with this for that level of detail.

As for when I will continue this? Like many of my stories: when I can get the drive up and running.

For now, tell me what you all think about my latest crossover fanfic:
