"Chapter 1: Redemption Seeking Golden Prince"

Sighing the regal gentleman glanced at his Piaget watch. The voice of the professor echoed in the Coliseum type classroom. Scribbling more notes with an Aurora Diamante fountain pen the lad wished time could move faster. Trying to be diligent, the male went all ears on what the educator is expounding on. Promoting ones brand by affiliating with charities. That was the essence of this lecture.

Relating to the heir's cursed family, re-branding is a dire need. For generations the Tao clan subjugated and conquered all foes with violence. Their wealth is stained with blood of both evil and innocent. Until this day some of the victims bodies are preserved. Just in case there is a need to arise, they will be summoned as a Jiang Si. This skill is a family specialization.

Murder, mocking the human corpse and imprisoning souls. Will there ever be redemption for the Tao's? Can the forty third lord Ren Tao make way for a new path? So much is to be done and learned. As a start investing on education beyond the comfort zone is to be established. The heir needs to understand what makes the world turn. Living in Asia, the golden orbs witnessed how Eastern culture works. Then what about the other side? There is an essential to learn how Westerners think and move.

The realization led the young master to the shores of the Americas. Enrolling in one of it's most prestigious schools, the location is a short drive away from a melting pot city. Now the lording is confined inside the lecture hall of Harvard business school. If the aim is world domination, one has to understand the macrocosm first.

"By choosing the correct beneficiary a company's image can greatly be improved." The professor expounded yet again breaking his train of thought. "Testaments via mouth and social media is very significant these days. So every move is important since the news tend to spread at lighting speed."

For how long will this drag on? Waiting has always been a weakness. It is one of the virtues Ren Tao often wished that be gifted to his character. Who is to blame anyway? Growing up and getting everything served on a silver platter was so convenient. However, it was very detrimental to social skills. The Chinese shaman tried to learn from his Japanese friend. But that idiot is too much laid back for his own good. And as if the bloke would endure listening to boring lectures. If Yoh was here, the blockhead will probably be asleep and snoring by now.

Various chart flashed on the huge LED screen stating facts and whatnot. "Much has been said about the correlation of ventures and charity." After highlighting more figures and theories the professional added. "Humans tend to forgive and forget easily when actions are done in the light of charity."

That statement caught the Chinese's attention. Forgive and forget how could that be possible? Involuntarily one arm rose in the air clad in crisp well ironed Jack Victor long sleeved white shirt. The lecturer eyed the action and pointed out the inquirer. "Yes Mr. Tao, state your curiosity."

"How do you teach people to forget that they were wronged?" It was a concern bothering his heart ever since the Shaman fight ended. The warrior had died twice in battle, now living the third time the lordship is yet to forgive himself. "Good question Mr. Tao." The educator acknowledged. "People have hearts for emotions, minds to rationalize and souls to give the bodies an essence."

Emotion, mind and soul, what sense is there? "You have not answered my query." The student accused. The academe chuckled. "I did Mr. Tao. It is just not that easy to comprehend and execute." A frown of dissatisfaction was drawn on the youth's face. "After class let us discuss it over tea?" The older offered. The pupil nodded and swayed his hand for the class to move on.

The motion caused a stir within the room. The spectators whispered how the Ren Tao managed to make a statement in during an official lecture. Ren snorted, if they wanted attention why didn't anybody threw out a query? It's not a fault to be curious.

Formidable looks, wit and athleticism did not earn the violet haired male much friends in the University. Not that it is required to achieve anything. The truth of the matter is the shaman could sense envy frequently. Whenever the feeling spikes, the young master will cut ties. People enslaved by jealousy will likely cause trouble in the end. It is better to be disassociated than earn more enemies.

Contrary, earning the spite of men, the forty third's snobbish ways has been perceived attractive by a number women. Love confessions and proposals would flood him occasionally. A lot of females would pretty themselves to attract those golden eyes. But romance what not in the lordship's agenda. Plus he is a broken man undeserving of affections. Maybe when all sins are atoned that a being like him can enjoy it.

The professor concluded simultaneously as the bell rang. Ren chose to leave later knowing the educator will exit last. The pupils muttered about brain information overload and needing rest. The shaman however is far from done with the topic discussed. As a sign of courtesy to the lecturer the heir made an offer. "Shall we have tea in my penthouse professor?" The older man head bobbed and chimed excitedly. "I have always wanted to see that exclusive space Mr. Tao."

"Do you have servants maintaining the space?" The educator inquired immediately. "They visit daily and do the chores while I'm in class." The professor beamed, so the elusive man lives alone. "Such a fortunate person you are to be born in a esteemed family."

The lording decided not to comment. If people only knew the secret of their wealth. Ushering the elder out of the room, the duo went on their way. The academic took the chance to interview the mysterious undergraduate further. "Mr. Tao humor me, various rumors surround you. I assume you are aware."

The proud young man eyed his acquaintance. The old man is being to nosy. But since he was asking a favor, he would indulge answering harmless questions. "Yes, the list comprises of being an Illuminati, Mensa member and my father as a high ranking Mason." The schoolmaster grinned. "Are any of these a fact?" The student swayed his head in negation. "The history of the Illuminati, Mensa and Masons are more of western influence. I am from the east."

The point was well taken by the lecturer. "Where does your prestige and affluence come from Mr. Tao?" Ren stared at his companion with brows raised. "Why is it important?" The youth retorted. "If people understand better, more meaningful bonds can be formed."

"If someone genuinely cared, it would not matter where and what my origin is from." The pupil pointed out. "True but people are curious beings with wild imaginations. If things are not cleared the wildest stories can ensue." The lordship refused to comment. Sensing the silence as a call to privacy the academe decided not to pry further.

The twosome arrived in front of the dormitory where the talked about private area is situated. "I was wondering why you only asked for the top floor." The educator directed his gaze to the student. " Mr. Tao, you could have taken the whole building."

"It is not necessary to isolate any further." The long haired man shrugged. "At least when my friends ask about how dorm life is, I have an answer." The elder's eyes widened at the revelation. "Is it surprising I have friends professor?" Swaying his head the educator answered. "No, not at all, they are all in Asia I believe?"

"Some, two are in Europe. A student in London and a doctor in Germany. A Japanese couple wondering the world. A farmer in the northern region of Japan, an inn keeper in Tokyo plus a Japanese student business man who never grew taller." That was the longest statement Ren Tao has ever uttered. The mentor felt proud of himself in ushering the heir to do so.

As the two entered the building at the base of the stairs Ren inquired. "Can you go all the way up?" That was a very thoughtful gesture the academe thought. "We have no other choice right?" The golden boy looked over the left and pointed out. "A private elevator was installed this week. Want to give it a go?"

"You are graduating this year, why put it up?" The lecturer questioned. "I wanted to make this dormitory fit for physically disabled students." The educator grinned, it seems there is kindness a mist that cold and tough fa?ade. "You plan in turning it to that once after moving out?" The privileged male directed the elder towards to the item in question. "Obviously, their college stay will be less of a hassle."

"You will be reconstructing the fifth floor most likely." The schoolmaster concluded. "That is a given." The violet haired lad acknowledged. As they entered the elevator the younger recalled something. "I also have an American friend who throws in the worst puns." The older was surprised once again. "Does that comrade visit often?"

The elevator sounded that the top floor was reached. The companions alighted as the host answered. "No, that guy is serving the remaining years of his sentence." The well dressed man unlocked the door. "Hopefully due to good conduct, he can get a parole."

The professor came into deep thought. Ren Tao is interesting indeed. The circle of friends that was shared are situated in a far distance. While the local one is a felon? He did not mention their names, perhaps were those individuals famous people? He had divulge information but kept it discreet. This guy is very intelligent and strategic indeed.

Swinging the entrance fully the content of the space was revealed. It had a mixture of both Chinese and Western accents. The furniture showcased attractive angles, upholstered to a plump and outlined with jade. The table legs were varnished perfectly with sculptures of dragons and pagodas. The room smelled like oak. That must have been used to adorn the large windows that allow natural light to come in.

The compere offered the educator a seat near the window. A beautiful green tilt top tea table lay waiting partnered with three Victorian inspired chairs. As he took a seat in the exquisite piece, the guest can't help but touch the mint colored surface. It was cold, the blasted piece is made of pure jade.

"Professor what would you have Da-Hong Pao, Panda Dung, Darjeeling, Tieguanyin Yellow Gold tea buds or Silver Tips Imperial?" Out of all the stated, Darjeeling was the one familiar to the ear. The visitor opted for that and observed the fine gentleman prepare the tea.

Opening a one liter Evian bottle, the host started pouring its contents in a self boiling tea kettle. After placing it atop the burning stove in medium heat, the forty third directed his sight to the cupboard containing the viands.

"You cook?" The visitor queried, the kitchenette must serve a purpose. "My cook does. I just heat up dinner." The educator looked outside the window. "Great view from here. So your chef prepares a warm breakfast, packs lunch and shelves away dinner?"

"Exactly." The golden orb male confirmed. "Everyday, even on weekends?" The elder followed up eagerly. "I need to focus on academics and sports, it is necessary." Was the retort while the lordship busied himself in taking out the tea cup, saucers, strainer and ceramic teapot. "I am lucky then." The invitee stated out with enthusiasm. "Not doing much for yourself, but here you are making me tea." The shaman could not help but smirk. "Don't flatter yourself too much."

" I am anticipating fine ceramic ware." The academe muttered out to change the topic. "Too bad only a Meissen porcelain set is available here." The lordship replied in pride. "The Qing Dynasty porcelain is in my ancestral home."

The kettle blew its whistle, the host turned the stove off. Carefully transferring the liquid to its crafted counterpart the guest commented. "I was expecting Murano not Meissen." The heir smirked at the statement or was it a joke? "Murano is for decorative glasses. Like that sculpture over there." The lecturer's ear turned red of embarrassment, how can a lay person be knowledgeable of the finer things in life?

Completing the contents on the tray, the pupil headed to the tea table. Placing the receptacle down he served the guest first. The lecturer stared fully at the tea bags. Is it shining? Noticing the question on the visitors face the youth explained. "You have a good eye prof, this Darjeeling is by PG Tips. Two hundred eighty diamonds in one bag." Surprise and awe was drawn on the elder's face. "My British friend asked me to purchase in order to raise cash for a hospital in Manchester."

"Your taste is lavish Mr. Tao. Such an extravagant charity." The lecturer praised. "You must be some sort of Chinese royalty." The professional stated with certainty. "I am the forty third heir." The young man confirmed as warm water was poured in the teacup housing the expensive pouch. "Similar to first line to the throne in English Royalty?" Golden eyes glinted and a smug smile was cast on the individual's face. No answer was necessary, that proud look says it all. "What an honor it is to be of your acquaintance Mr. Ren Tao."

The aroma of the Darjeeling was therapeutic itself, what more when consumed? After doing the service Ren sat opposite the guest. "Feel free to add milk or sugar cubes as you see fit." The host encouraged the visitor and short after expressed the main concern of the meeting. "Professor humor me, what did you mean back there?"

The elder raised the cup, it is the lightest porcelain he ever held. The shimmering piece reached the tip of his lips. The content tasted exquisitely as it appeared and smelled. "Your supposed to take the bag off before drinking." The younger reprimanded. "I was too awestruck Mr. Tao." The other grinned and placed down his concoction. "To answer your question earlier let me elaborate."

Bringing up the beautiful cup, the schoolmaster used it for his explanation. "Mr. Tao, why is this Meissen expensive and sought after?" Ren place down his drink. "Meissen is famous for craftsmanship." The educator nodded. "Craftsmanship is brought out by the artisans emotion. Using his mind the emotion takes form into the product." The elder turned the piece to one hundred and eighty degrees. "When the item is finished and appreciated it will serve a purpose." The heir listened intently and absorbed all the words to heart. "If there is a purpose, the reason to exist is justified. It is the same for people. Anything that has a purpose will have life and can be considered with essence like a soul."

Ren took another sip and let the information sink in. "Are you saying that if the sinner can sway the victims emotions to a positive light and give a tangible proof, forgiveness is possible?" The mentor grinned the student caught up immediately and replied . "Yes, but the tough part is winning over the wronged person. That is why the sincerity of the accused is important."

The lording kept his proud posture and inquired further. "What does it take for the wrong to be turned to a right?" The professor shrugged, it was a difficult inquiry. "It will depend on what was wrong." The student looked down on is cup. "What if the sin was as grave as murder?"

There a was a long pause. "He must be considering his friend in prison." The educator took note of it. "A life lost cannot be brought back, but preventing others to be lost the same way is possible." The forty third looked up. "So in order for sadness and pain to stop, the practice which caused it must be halted."

"To put it simply yes." The academe agreed. "However, humans can be selfish and it leads to the difficulty of implementing it." Taking in another drink of the expensive tea the professor continued. "But if one has the willpower, it can be possible. The world's changers never had the easy route."

"Would you like some Swiss cheesecake?" the pupil blurted out of the blue. "Don't mind if I do." The shaman stood up gracefully, the simple act pushed the teacher to say his compliments. "Ren Tao, you are a very capable man. I have faith you will be a world changer."

"Thank you for believing in me with your limited knowledge." The heir sincerely appreciated the words of his mentor. He continued to head to the fridge. "Mr. Tao, in Christianity there is a saying: Fathers shall not be put to death for their sons, nor shall sons be put to death for their fathers; everyone shall be put to death for his own sin. Therefore you will be only accountable for yourself."

Looking back at the speaker after closing the refrigerator's door the future clan master gave a soft small smile. "I will keep that in mind and clear my path to redemption." The youth carefully cut the pastry and placed it on the Meissen saucer. It seems there is hope for him after all. The fact placed his soul at ease.

Carefully the young master walked back to the tea table. He gently placed the confection to the educator's side. After securing his own, he took a seat once more. "Where can I look that up again?" Beaming widely the lecturer expounded. "In the bible, Deuteronomy chapter twenty four verse sixteen to be exact." The golden eyed man took a deep breath and acknowledged. "Duly noted."

The afternoon was spent with conversations about philosophy, current events and business principles. The forty third master started formulating ideas on how to use their bloody money into good works. Once he has enough the heir swore to no longer be dependent of the clan's wealth. As much as possible, he doesn't want to associate with that cursed fortune. If need be, paying back his father would be a good option.

"It is getting late Mr. Tao. My wife is expecting me to be on time for dinner." The elder announced. "Thank you for your time professor." Both men stood up and the host led the visitor to the elevator. "Let me escort you until the front door." The teacher welcomed the offer.

It seems reverse to belief the elusive bachelor is very considerate, wise and has a hint of humbleness whenever it is necessary. The young lord is full of promise and determination, he is bound to succeed. "Before I forget Mr. Tao after graduating, why not consider a Master's degree in INSEAD France?" The heir glanced at the educator. "I can qualify but it is best to look through their curriculum. I am already considering other European schools like London or Said Business school."

"Your command in English is good enough. French will be an advantage to any international businessman." The shaman smirked at the suggestion. "Are you expecting me to make negotiations with Swiss banks?" The academe beamed that the lad understood his point. "Of course, it will not surprise me however if you have one now." Ren kept silent, their wealth is in the Tao Residence, where people would never dream to try robbing.

As they reached the door the violet haired male opened the door. "I will think about it professor." Nodding the seasoned man fixed his coat. "INSEAD offers a Global Executive MBA, it will be fitting for you." With that said the academe went on his way home.

Ren took the track towards his suite. It would not be bad to learn another language. So far he can speak Chinese, Japanese and English. French would be good addition to his resume. Maybe while at it he can ask Faust to teach him German. Heidelberg is a train ride away, though the travel will take six hours. Night trains are available, it will still be convenient.

Reopening the penthouse door the purple haired man reminisced how the space was won over:

How dare day think of him as a pompous rich boy that will play around once enrolled. Was it because of his tailored Dolce and Gabbana suit? Or his accused pretty boy face? Heck he will not cut his hair to get any sort of approval. It's college people wear and be as they want responsibly. And the Tao heir is very much convinced he is a responsible individual.

He challenged the unbelieving interviewer to a bet. The conditions included acing all subjects in freshman year and beating all martial arts related varsity members. If he loses, the heir would have to donate a whole dormitory building for construction. If Ren wins, on sophomore year he gets one whole floor of the dorm all to himself. It can be renovated based on the youth's whims.

The prey took the bait. Ren Tao may have a longing to be gentler, but he is still a predator. Using full natural abilities, the young master step by step conquered his challenges. Working and toiling nonstop, the thunder bearer met all the terms of the agreement at the end of first semester of freshman year. But he had to wait for the full term to end before receiving his reward.

Sneering as he presented the evidences of the win, the lad held out his hands. "All the keys on 5th floor please." The educator who lost could only sigh. "I don't have all day." The golden orb man demanded. "What do you plan to do with it?" The professor inquired swaying his head.

"Burn it." The youth sarcastically replied. Shock flooded the face of the elder man. "Kidding, I will turn it to a penthouse." The rich bachelor explained snarling. "When summer break ends the construction will be done." The proud young adult expounded further. "It won't disturb the normal classes going on." The teacher sighed in defeat, a deal is a deal. The board of directors somehow managed to agree to the brat's whims. Was he destined to win after all?"You sure go all out when aiming for something." The elder muttered and extended his hand to give the keys. "If we want to change something we have to be bold." The educator swayed his head. "What good would it do the world if you built a penthouse in the dorm?"

Ren shrugged at the man's ignorance. To civilians its just a waste of money. But for him who made it happen it was a sign of victory. The victor will have the power to change something even at a small scale. From this it can expand wider and people won't know what hit them until they are all subjugated. Of course he is going to do this as humanely as possible. He did left those athletic challengers in one piece. They do need to recover but therapy and downtime is not needed.

"Listen carefully old man." The young master swayed the keys held by his hands. "This is a sign of my triumph." The lord placed the items in his pocket. "The renovation is proof of the power gained from this feat." Straightening his shoulders, he swung his body to turn around. "The penthouse completion is the mark of influence." The fine man walked towards the door. "Whether you like it or not, I will go down in history of this school." He turned the knob but before going out added. "I am the first student to enjoy a penthouse inside a dormitory who is a foreigner."

Having to say all he intended to the shaman exited the room. He is not done yet with this school. He will make a mark that no else can help but accept his dominance. He is going to accomplish it while being true to his nature. Taking out the phone the lad began dialing a number he memorized well. The call was answered immediately. Not waiting for the other line to answer the youth immediately reported."Father, the deal is done. We can proceed as scheduled." There was a deep chuckling voice at the other line. "It was simple bet my son."

"Whatever, you should have seen the bloke's face." The heir sneered over the line and the patriarch in his unique endearing way responded. "The construction will begin first thing tomorrow."

There he is right now. Come to think of it except servants and his family. Nobody entered the sanctuary yet except his lucky mentor. It was a fair deal, both of them received privileges in the act. He lazily laid his body on the Zara Hadid sofa. "Master would you like me to reheat dinner?" His spirit ally Bason finally made himself visible. "No yet, I might have to call the chef to cook for Mom and Jun Jie later." The spirit kept silent then suggested. "Take a nap my lord. It has been a long day." The softness of the upholstery is relaxing. Closing his eyes the tired college student's mind was put at ease.

The attempted nap was cut short when the cellphone rang. Pressing the answer button a gruff voice spoke. "Ren, your mother and sister will be arriving soon." It was his Father damn, he promised to escort Mom and Jun in some fashion event in New York this weekend. "Should I really go to that clothing festival?"

The Tao patriarch howled in laughter in the other line. "Hate being around tall people eh?" The deep voice continued to tease. "Milk has gotten you only so far." Height was a taboo, father knew but blurted it out to spite him. "Whatever, in terms of power they are beneath me." The lording proudly spoke.

Ren was not really concerned of his height. Public events just attract unwanted attention. Agents would offer print ad jobs or acting stints. Random people would ask for a photo together. Then he will just realize he was featured in some magazine about social circles. Then his name and face will pop up in search engines. Those troublesome things are not inclined with his goals.

"Your ego is higher than anyone else." The elder said with pride. "You are my son after all." The young man sighed. "What hotel are they staying in?" The father chuckled again. "You have a penthouse, they are going to stay there." The thunder bearer rolled his eyes. "Honestly inside the campus again?" He could imagine the smirk of the old man. "Well the Tao's have the right to that property. That space has guest rooms built for those two."

Golden eyes splinted, yeah go and remind him that. "They are probably going to knock any minute now." As much as he cares for the Tao women, they can be a handful. The two ladies most likely took the liberty of choosing what he is to wear. By this time the whole itinerary is finalized without his consent. There is no helping of what they are going to do with him.

"Yes they will. Show the ladies a good time." Ren could only sigh. "Yes Father."

Ever since studying abroad, his mother and sister began enjoying foreign events. Since he can speak decent English they would drag him along everywhere possible. Fashion shows, store and restaurant openings, movie premieres, art exhibits, yacht races and even boring symposiums. The worst is whenever someone makes a pass at the handsome lad, the females find joy in seeing the bachelor squirm.

Yes he has brought upon this torture to himself. Initially Ren wanted to change the world using the most tangible means possible. What could that be? Of course money. Materialism is always a first in every human heart. However as he learned today, there is another way to win people over. Emotion, mind and soul capture it via charity. What type of charity? Should he give away half of clan's the resources? Would the world love the Tao's more if he does?

They are shaman royalty in this earthly realm. Should actions of humility be done and semi sacrificial acts suffice? In the media people who visit estranged areas seem to be garnering a positive reputation. What about influences? They have an abundance of that both in living and the dead. How can he dispose them to stir emotions to win over a number of minds? Can it really be pulled of by an institutionalize antagonist to which he is next in line?

In the shadow world he is known as the forty third master. Honestly that responsibility is loathsome to a degree. Carrying that title, Ren will be forever stained by the blood that was spelt to achieve power. Atoning all those sins is a giant feat. But maybe he can lighten the burden of the future. Lesser hate, halting of murders and cutting off bloody money is now part of his plan. Emotion, mind and soul, all elements must be captured for success to come. How can he start?

His front door clicked. Looks like his kin as arrived and Bason scurried away. Their girlish giggle is both music and noise to his ear. "Ren sweetie what are you doing on the sofa?" the matriarch question worriedly. "Is something wrong in your room?" The mother continued to inquire. "Jun can you get Pairon to check it out?" The maternal voice ordered. "I just prefer the sofa mother."

"Ren Tao, sofa's are for welcoming guest. Not alternative beds." The mature woman countered. "Get up, how could you not remove your shoes? Is that how you live everyday?" The tired man sat up from his position. "I will change all your staff starting tomorrow. And look for people who can aid you twenty four seven." Ren sighed, his mother never fails to spoil him. "Don't replace them mom. I told them to leave me alone after class hours."

"If you don't want live people how about some Jiang Si?" The offer was said in a sweet voice. "Mom, you are going to scare the dorm residents. Bason is enough" The lady crossed her arms. "Don't be stubborn young man. I was just trying to help. And where is that spirit ally of yours." The Warrior quickly appeared once called out. "Yes Madam Tao?"The lad stood up from his seat to prevent further nagging. "I appreciate it mom, but please stop doing the unnecessary I am fine."

"Is this what studying overseas taught you? Speaking back to your mother?" Oh great she was going to throw the guilt trip on him. The forty third master approached the mature woman gently. Once close enough he pulled her to an embrace. "Mom you know its not like that." The older woman dived more into his arms. The heir could see his sister grinning idiotically at the sight. Man Jun is enjoying seeing him all fluffy and a sucker for Mom. Raising his brow Bason understood the signal to scram. "You are always welcome here. Plus no servants more privacy for us right?"

The matriarch bobbed her head and reached out to his cheek. "Sorry to over react darling. Will you help Mommy settle in?" The violet haired man smiled. "Of course." Once their mother glanced away Ren looked back at his elder sister. There was a look of pride in the green haired girls face. She gave him a thumbs up and spoke. "Ren, after unpacking you should try on the outfit we chose." Just as expected the two are going to treat him as a doll. But he can never break their hearts, specially his sister whom he loves. Yes if there was a person Ren Tao genuinely cared for its his loyal and dependable sister.

As the luggage were taken care of, the heir called his chef to prepare a meal for his guest. After a tiring day, the lording just doesn't want to go out. "Mom, why don't you call Dad?" The elder lady nodded and excused herself. As she entered her room Jun spoke up. "What caused your weariness little brother?" Oh please he has grown up already.

"Had a talk with a professor about re-branding, charity and righting wrongs." The college student explained briefly. "Ren you are still seeking redemption." The young mistress had always known the struggles of her sibling. "Is there a way you want me to help?" Ren places a hand under his chin to think. "I need to think of a charity fit for our family."

"It should be something that will make us look less oppressive." The younger shared his preference. Jun took a seat on the sofa and ushered the lad to do the same. "If it helps, I heard in Italy there is camp to be set up for refugees of war." Then looking up on her phone. "Let's see it's called Cara di Mineo in Sicily. They need benefactors for the construction." The greenette ushered the phone closer. "You can help the construction by offering our services. It will make us appear to be helping survivors to start a new life."

"Its a wonderful suggestion Jun Jie, How can we start?" The girl smiled at her brothers eagerness, "I will make a few calls tomorrow and inquire how much they need." Then pointing a finger on his chest. "While you do the costing of how much we should give. Remember, Father might throw a fit." The elder reminded. "As if we need more money." The younger uttered.

"Well you know how calculating he could be." The Daoshi explained. "But he loves and has faith in you a lot. So I am sure he will be happy to help." Ren began to think things over. "Looks like I need to do some odd jobs to chip in." The female patted his back "Don't be silly Dad and Grandpa are already in frenzy shutting up media outlets trying to expose you."

"I am surprised they have not killed them all off." The lordship jested. "They do know you will hate them forever if they did. Nobody want's you out the family Ren." The golden eyed man sighed. The women in their family are so good in touching his conscience. "Fine I will ask for Dad's help and represent him in this endeavor." The lady clapped her hands. "Wonderful. You should call him first thing tomorrow."

"Since he and mom started talking it will not end anytime soon." Ren replied with certainty. It seems the plan is off to a good start. With the clan support maybe salvation will not only be for himself but for everyone as well.

Author's note:

Finally back with the promised Renmei project. I preferred using Jie instead on nee-chan for Jun because Ren is Chinese.

This will explore how the Renmei romance came to be. Hopefully I can give it justice and give joy in this trying times.

Please feel free to give your insights on this piece. Thank you.
