EPILOGUE

"We're here Mr. McD!" called Launchpad.

"Ah home sweet home." said Scrooge stepping off the plane. After Scrooge had literally dropped Glomgold off at his industry headquarters, the plane ride had become much more peaceful. The elderly duck strolled across the snow cover front lawn and entered his home. Donald and Della were both in the foyer.

"Hey Uncle Scrooge." greeted Della.

"Hello las." said Scrooge. "Glad to see you and Donald didn't burn the place down in my absence."

"Mrs. B and the kids kept us in line." joked Donald. "How was the convention?"

"It was alright." said Scrooge. "I did make a few new connections for the company, but the place was full of these yuletide youngsters. They would not stop begging me for investments."

"Everyone wants a piece of the McDuck fortune." said Della.

"Frankly, I would have rather stayed back home to attend your party." said Scrooge with a smile.

"What are you talking about?" asked Della, trying to keep up the charade.

"Don't be daft kids. You really thought you could throw a houseparty behind my back? I'm Scrooge McDuck!"

"Oh," sighed Donald and Della.

"Besides, I have security cameras around the mansion's exterior." said Scrooge.

"So you were able to see the influx of people coming to the manor." said Donald.

Scrooge nodded. "By the way, I saw your little sled race. I replayed the footage in slow motion to see who won."

Donald and Della perked up hearing this.

"Donald crossed the finish line first by the seam of a kilt." said Scrooge.

"Yes! I'm the fastest sledder ever!" shouted Donald. He started to do a victory dance.

"Ahhh! Come on!" shouted Della. "I bet you can't beat me again!"

"Bet I can!" Donald said back.

"No way!" said Della. "This time you'll eat my boot marks!"

"Kids." interrupted Scrooge. "Would either of you happen to know why the feed on the two cameras closest to the front door have been out for the last several hours?"

"Wasn't any of us." said Donald.

"I'll have to look into the matter tomorrow." said Scrooge.

Donald and Della ran back outside for a sled race rematch while Scrooge walked up the stairs toward the bathroom.

After taking a bath, Scrooge walked to his bedroom. "I could have sworn that I left my bathrobe hanging on the bathroom door." he thought.

Scrooge opened the door to his bedroom. He stopped dead when he saw Goldie laying on his bed in a seductive position wearing his missing bathrobe.

"Evening Scroogie." she casually greeted.

Scrooge's face heated up, but he hid it with a stern face. "What in blazes are you doing in my bedroom!?"

"I was in the neighborhood and thought I would stop by and give my favorite geezer a Christmas present." said Goldie.

Scrooge walked over to her. "And what would that be?"

Goldie jumped up grabbing Scrooge by the neck. She attached her beak onto his and pulled him down onto the bed. Any anger Scrooge had been holding immediately subsided as he and Goldie ran their hands up and down each others' bodies.

Goldie flipped Scrooge over so she was on top. Scrooge always admired Goldie's take charge attitude.

"I am as merry as a school boy! I am as giddy as a drunken man!" purred Scrooge.

In between kisses and moans Goldie mumbled the words "Merry Christmas Scrooge."
