The first thing Morty knew when he opened his eyes was that he was kissing Rick. After that everything went fast. He pushed him away and started yelling."What the fuck were you doing?!"
He threw fists in the air angrily."What the- what were you thinking you-y-y-you sick piece of-" He trailed off when he saw something trickle down on Rick's face. "What the- are you crying?!" He coldly glared in return and started walking towards the spaceship. Morty looked around in confusion, suddenly forgetting about his anger. How did he get there?"What's the last thing you remember?" Rick said casually completely ignoring his previous outburst. "You in my face" Morty spat. "Not that you moron" Rick snapped. "Before that. Trust me, I'm just as confused as you are". The idea was strangely comforting to him. "Um, since I don't remember anything for the past who-knows-how-long, I'd say it was wendsday?"
"Ugh" Rick grunted." N-no, it's sunday" His eyes went wide in shock. "Wait, how do you know w-what day is it when you're like me?" Morty asked, suspicious. Rick raised an eyebrow." I said I'm 'confused' like you, not posessed ". "I was posessed?!" He looked like he regretted saying that. "Well, no. Not exactly." He sighed." Look, I'll fix this. We should go home first." He wiped a tear which didn't go unnoticed by Morty, but he decided not to comment on that. "We're on Andromera 4. Won't take us long. Come on, lets go." and he got in the ship. Morty had no choice but to follow him, still confused and shocked. The ride home was awkward, and there was a thick tension between them. It seemed like hours before he caught the green and blue colored planet in sight. When they landed, Rick got out of the car quickly." Come with me." He opened the door to the subterranean floor and climbed down. Morty did the same, only with much more hesitation. Rick started explaining on the way, seemingly uninterested. Like he was secretly conveying a please-don't-make-me-do-this message. "We've been on a lot of adventures Morty. Not all of them go as planned. Once in a while, something ends horribly traumatic and you get scarred for life. That-that reeeally interrupts my work Morty. So I did something for that." They reached the bottom and Rick paused. Morty stared curiously, waiting for him to continue. Rick started walking by a few doors, some of them sounded like they held prisoners(?)." Some of these events were really disturbing for you." Morty's attention went back to Rick. "So I invented a memory gun. It can erase the memories you don't want to keep." He opened a door that led to a strange room filled with vials in different colors and a chair in the middle of it. Morty blinked, trying to process what the heck was going on." Well, erase is not the word. More like remove. Or-or transfer. It transfers your memories into these vials." Morty started to connect some dots. So Rick was going to do the convenient thing, dodge the issue, and make him forget anything ever happened? Anger started to come over him, but as he looked at Rick, it looked like he had seen it coming. More like he expected it. A faint plan started to form in his head. He swallowed his anger down, and walked to a box of red vials placed on the ground. "Wow. How do they work?" He tried his best not to sound suspicous. "Oh." Rick said, taken back. "Uh ,I mean, you just shoot with that gun over there" he pointed to the counter in front of Morty. "Of course you should place an empty vial in it first." "Why do they have different colors?" Morty said with fake interest. Rick just shrugged." That depends on who wants the memory removed. Yourself, me, the family, etc. So, now." He took a deep breath. "I'm gonna erase a memory, right now." "Okay". Rick arched a brow." Okay?". "Yeah, okay." "Uh, cooool." He stared at him for a minute before hesitantly turning to a another box. In a swift move, Morty picked up the gun and a vial. Rick turned back to the sound and grunted loudly. "Morty, don't." He didn't say anything, but looked at the gun instead." I really didn't think you'd be that stupid." He typed in "Morty's possession today". Giving Rick one last glance, he shot him. Rick immediately fell on the ground, unconscious. For a moment, fear took over him. What did he just do?
He shook his head. No turning back now. He looked at the now blue vial in the gun, Picking it up and looking at it carefully. It looked like a... lava lamp of some sort. A sudden thought struck him.'What do I do now?'. Aparrently he didn't think of this part. He was filled with fear when he heard footsteps in the garage. He swallowed hard and waited." Grandpa? Morty? Where are you? Dad's stuck in the bathroom . Can you fix the door?" Morty sighed in relief. It was just Summer. She was the only person that would actually help him with it rather than take Rick's side or keep herself out of it.
"Summer, uh, down here." He called "We have a problem. A big one"
