Later Mitchie was putting her youngest daughter, Brooklyn, to bed. Brooklyn had a beautiful green forest room with painted butterflies crossing the walls and the ceiling, and, green painted vines hung from the corners of the room creating a calm scene. When Brooklyn was in there it was like a fairytale and she was the main character in the story. Mitchie was pulling the covers up for Brooklyn she realized that Brooklyn was looking...unhappy. Mitchie decided to make silly faces at her to cheer her up. Whenever Brooklyn was upset or sad,Mitchie would always make silly faces to cheer up Brooklyn. This time Brooklyn was upset about something that was way different, so, Mitchie had stopped making silly faces and decided to find out what was wrong with Brooklyn,

"What's wrong?",Mitchie asked.

"Mommy.", began Brooklyn.

Mitchie leaned forward to her daughter to listen what Brooklyn is going to be saying. Brooklyn looked over at Mitchie,

"Do you and Daddy don't love each other anymore?",asked Brooklyn .

Mitchie's eyebrows widened. What did her daughter just say? She couldn't believe that something like that came out of a 6 year old's mouth! Mitchie's eyebrows lowered and her lids went halfway down. She was sad immediately. She wanted her daughters take back what she had just said. She reached her hand out to stroke her daughter,

"Oh honey, it is not that we don't love each other anymore, it's that we had a...bit of a disagreement.",shared Mitchie.

"Are you sure?",asked Brooklyn.

"I'm sure. We still love each other. Remember the story on how I met your Dad in summer camp.", Mitchie reminded her.

Brooklyn started smiling.

"Oh yes! Youalways told me this story.. when you were at summer camp and met Daddy, you knew you that you've always wanted to be with him.",recalled Brooklyn.

Brooklyn let a big smile out at Mitchie, making Mitchie smile too.

"Now, get a good rest! Tomorrow's a new day.",said Mitchie, as Brooklyn nodded .

She laid herself in bed to close her eyes and then fell asleep.

Later~

Mitchie, also , had gotten herself into pajamas when she got out of the shower. Then, she made her way to her and Shane's room. By the time that she had got there, she could see that Shane was already laid out on the bed fast asleep. This made Mitchie laugh a little, as she began to roll her eyes trying to figure up how she would fit in next to him. He was stretched out. She was in motion to get in bed with Shane and put his arm around her. With Shane's arm wrapped around Mitchie, her eyes were observing Shane. Even though he was already asleep, she couldn't help but look at his face. In her mind, she was thinking about what her daughter had just said...is her marriage with Shane falling apart? Hope not, was the instantaneous thought. She has loved him ever since she was 14. They have been through so much together.

Now, at the age of 35, married to Shane, 3 beautiful kids with him and also planning a 4th one...things aren't functioning well as Mitchie had hoped.

Shane is a good father, it's that he pays so little attention to Brooklyn! This left Mitchie worried. Her thinking was that Brooklyn was going to one day grow up hating her dad. The thought of it made Mitchie shudder and the other thought of adding a 4th child would bring even more stress into the marriage!

" Shane is definitely having trouble focusing on his kids.",thought Mitchie.

She put those thoughts aside and slowly closed her eyes as she went to sleep.
