An another cute chapter from me, take it! XD

"He's coming tonight with dad, Grandpa," Hiro said at the dinner table.

"Tyson had called you? He didn't pick my phone," Fatuba looked from her fork at Hiro.

"He's busy, mom." Hiro said, watching Sarah finish her food. Hilary sighed, hearing the conversation in the hall. She looked at the pile of dishes in sink. She wasn't complaining to wash them...but she was slightly upset with Tyson. He hadn't called her even once since the past week he left with Tatsuya. They had escorted to the neighboring town for research work.

"Where's Fae?" Fatuba asked,

Hiro looked at his mom and Grandpa with a delighted smile, "I was just about to say that. Good news, Fae is pregnant. Her mom came over at afternoon and took her,"

"Oh wow! Congrats Hiro! When did you come to know?"

"Mom," Hiro sighed, "It was just last night-"

"No! How can you forget! Where's Hilary!-"

"Grandpa wait, she knows it. Fae told her first," Hiro said, "Oh and Noah went along with Fae,"

"Of course, he's mamma's boy." Ryu grinned.

Ryu and Fatuba were hyped and excited.

"I spoke to Tyson. Told him too. He's demanding for a niece! Little bro is too excited," Hiro smiled, "Fae says she's fine with anyone. Girl or boy, I'm okay likewise."

"In few years, this dojo will be flowing with kids!" Grandpa cheerfully mused,

"Maybe we should rebuild it someday to accommodate so many members, Dad..." Fae suggested, looking thoughtfully at the old man.

"Nah, our dojo mayn't be too large, but the hearts of Grangers are always big!" Grandpa laughed loudly. Hiro sighed, but still gave a small smile.

"Yawwww!"

Makoto groggily walked downstairs with dramatic yawns. Hilary peeped from the kitchen and called out, "C'mon, wash your hands and join the dinner, Mako!"

"There comes little Tyson." Ryu smirked,

That didn't have any effect on the little blunette. He slumped into the arms of his Grandma, snuggling for more sleep,

"Get up, M-dawg! You're just becoming like your dad these days!" Ryu tweaked his ears,

"What's there in food? Is it ooovverr?" Makoto yawned loudly, feeling cozy in Fatuba's arms.

"Sushie and rice balls!" Sarah chirped, marching cutely into the hall.

"Now see how his laziness fades away-" Grandpa muttered amusingly.

"Hey Saru? Had your dinner?" Makoto jumped off from Fatuba's arms.

"Yep, just had. Eat your food, Mako. Your dad's coming soon!" Sarah settled onto a small couch.

"I know, "

"Mom, shall I clear the table?" Hilary walked to the table, wearing her pink apron.

"If your son is over with his food, home girl-" Grandpa cleared his throat. Hilary shot a glare at her son, "Mako, eat quickly," Hilary hissed.

He nodded skittishly and quickly slurped the glass of water, and gulped the rice-balls. Sarah watched him- bated- as he ate speedily, 'Is there a magic bag in his stomach?'

"Hm, you two won't stay awake for long, alright? Nine thirty is your deadlines." Hiro looked at the kids, declaring his words and got up, "I've some mails to check. Good night mom and Grandpa,"

"Goodnight Hiro," Fatuba grinned, "Sweet dreams!"

"Fae's dreams!" Grandpa teased. Hiro sighed and dryly shook his head, 'Tyson definitely inherited Grandpa's traits!'

"Night dad! When's mom coming?" Sarah asked, as Makoto scooted towards her on couch, finally finished with dinner.

"Not for a week at least, enjoy!" Hiro smirked and closed his bedroom's door.

"Yes!" Sarah secretly cheered.

"Kids these days..." Hilary rolled her eyes, clearing the table.

"Where's Simone?" Ryu asked,

"Oh, she's soundly sleeping upstairs. Finally." Hilary said in a huge relieve.

"She's growing fast. That's great-" Fatuba chuckled,

"Since she started teething, my whole nights are upside down. She doesn't let me sleep any time. Mamma has to shush her wailing all time, changing her diapers and sanitizing her toys. This is too much!" Hilary groaned, "And Tyson keeps loading her cribs with more toys!"

Ryu secretly chuckled, "I know. Tyson sleeps dead to world. He's never disturbed-"

"No Grandpa, he never let ANYTHING OR ANYONE disturb his beauty sleep. I'd be up by one scream of Simone. But he's not budged even after the whole room gets filled with chaos!" Hilary grimaced, feeling indignant.

"He was always like that..." Ryu sighed.

"You two!" Hilary shot a glare at the kids, "Fifteen minutes more, then I will not see you here. Back to beds!"

Makoto and Sarah skittishly nodded, resuming from their dual video game.

"Good." She frowned at them sternly and stomped back to kitchen.

"Strict mother. Kids and Tyson need her." Ryu commented.

All her anger faded off in the kitchen. She quietly and tiredly washed the dishes. She wasn't tired precisely. She was perturbed by his absence- Slightly angry too. Yes, she was missing him- his presence in the dojo, in her room, his remarks, his scent, how he showed up each evening, how he ate with her at table, how he teased Makoto, cuddled with Simone, ambush her in his loving sass in the dark hallways, pinch her dimples, drape a warming arm on her in midnight sleeps- all of it … The dojo seemed incomplete without him. And it has been a complete week now. He didn't even call her. How couldn't she miss him? One part of her wanted to smack him once he comes now, but the other side of her just wanted to forget everything and tightly hug him first. Yeah, later on she would rant at him, smack him, and express all her turmoil.

Finally the slab was clean, the kitchen was done. Hilary collected the nippled feeding bottle from the boiling water and turned to leave. Suddenly the lights went off. She resisted the urge to scream. Gritting her teeth, she flinched back. This was sudden. Was no one there in the hall? Of course, it has been an hour almost, the kids must have gone to beds and so must the elders.

She gulped looking at the eerie darkness peaking from hallway. This was... not good. She hoped earnestly that power comes back soon. She would run to her room asap.

"I-Is anyone there?" She whispered, so lowly that she bet that even the existing ghost didn't hear her. The wind screamed inside, rushing over her.
She bristled.

"Ah!" She squeaked and threw her hands fearfully as a pair of arms grabbed her waist from back.

"Dojo's Ghost! Grandpa was right! It's here-" she frantically screamed,

"Hey relax! It's Tyson not ghost, Hilary!" The person holding her scowled, trying to calm his wife.

"No no, it can't be Tyson's ghost, ugh! No- huh wait! What? Tyson?" She turned back, facing him and instinctively placing her hands on his shoulders.

He grunted and pulled her closer, "Of course it's me. How could you've thought its ghost? I'm not Daichi."

"Oh," she timidly chuckled, "Never mind, I-I thought that locked ghost of Grandpa's tales was unleashed or something-"

"Very funny. Those are TALES. Meant for kids, not for grown up moms." He pouted comically.

She sighed closing her eyes, her body relaxed into his hold.

"Come," he smiled, "Let's go up. Simone is alone."

Hilary veered her eyes up, "Y-Yeah. I guess Makoto is with her."

"That careless brother," Tyson muttered, "Always tailing around Sarah..."

She raised a brow at him. The blue moonlight was somehow lighting the kitchen mildly. It wasn't pitch dark after all, not at least now.

"Don't interfere in my son's love life. When did you come by the way?" Her grip on his shirt tightened on his collar,

He blinked with a sweatdrop, knowing all well that she was about to be riled up at him.
"And, you'd the nerve to not even call me fucking one time in a whole week! Honestly, what were you doing?" She frowned dangerously. He gulped,

"H-Hey, Hils. We were working in remote areas, there was no network, I promise, ask Dad! I couldn't even contact anyone else!" He tried to defend himself,

"Not even once? Just to say that you're there! Fortunately alive!" She jabbed her nose against him.

"I'm sorry, I'm sorry!" He tried to appease her softly pulling away,

"No! You're not escaping my questions this time, Tyson- if it wasn't dad was with you, I would have asked you legit proofs that you're not having an affair outside-"

She ranted, nonstop and louder by every second. He gaped at her words. Heavens forbid! Extra marital affair? No! He loved his wife so much, and even if that was replaced by their bantering at times, he was scared of her at least to a point to never ever dream of a girl except her.

"Hilary wait- there's a lizard!" He interrupted her.

That stopped her rant but entailed them into a newer worse havoc. She screamed in a high pitch and hugged him crushing-tightly, "LIZARD! LIZARD! Tyson!" His ears were trembling at her pitch.

Of course there was no lizard, he just teased her. But even if it was there, it would have fled to a safer and quieter place.

"Its gone! It's gone!" He shouted louder, hoping she would hear him amongst her own laments. She was on the verge of climbing into him from being clinging. She WOULD have, if that was possible that is...

"You scream too much." He groaned and lifted her up finally,

"Run Tyson, run!" She uttered, crippling his shirt on back with her tight embrace of protection.

"What kind of Doctor you are! Scared of lizards! What do you do when patients show up? Throw a bucket of water?" He muttered loudly.

"Shut up, take me away from here idiot baka moron douchebag Ty-"

He quickly exited the kitchen after taking the bottles, gripping his arms below her hips as her legs bounded around his waist. He knew her mouth wouldn't shut anytime from cursing him. Did she memorize all those words for him? He couldn't believe he was carrying her INSTEAD when he should have been carrying Simone!

The entire dojo was eerie quiet and silent. Everyone was already asleep. He tiptoed upstairs, "You've become fat!" He commented,

She flushed angrily and smacked her fist on his back.

"Ow ouch!" He groaned and opened the door, "I was right, you've gained so much power physically-"

"Meanie! Calling me sexy one night and fat the other night?" She grunted. He placed her on bed, "Jeez Hils, I was teasing dude,"

"Oh, there's a news from Fae, she's expecting-" Hilary grinned, getting seated on bed comfortably.

"Yeah Hiro told me!" Tyson smirked, resting back his palms on the bed, and idly leaning back.

"Hiro was very happy," she smiled,

"I'm excited the same! Another kid to call me uncle. Yay. Dad used to say that kids are blessings, the more they keep coming, the more progressive and happier a home will be!" He beamed, looking at her.

"What do you mean?" She raised a brow. Was he implying her?

"What do I mean? Means?" He shrugged gingerly,

"You mean we should keep on producing kids just for this what you called- blessing?" She snapped, "WOMEN are humans too, ya know!"

He sweatdropped, "Hey calm down, I didn't mean that-"

"Nuh no! I think those homes are blessed where men learn to be responsible and caring first." She scooted towards him and stared sharply in his eyes. He lifted his nose and gulped, tilting his head back.

"Okaiiee" he groaned, "I wasn't implying YOU. C'mon I know your Tubectomy is done; plus I'm enough happy with Mako and Simo. AND," he emphasized, "And, I'm a responsible man!"

She airily smiled, "Kind of, yeah."

"Kind of like you, yeah." He retorted.

She glared at him. Tyson looked at the bed. Makoto was soundly sleeping. Simone was stirring in her sleep. The window was open.

"Shit, Mako left the window open!" Hilary quickly rose and shut it. How did she ignore the buzzing sound of the mosquitoes!

"Damn, fuck these mosquitoes!" Tyson reached out for a mosquito killing electrical bat, swaying the bat in air and chasing away the irritating noisy insects.

"Shoo! Shoo away!" Hilary glared at the mosquitoes, grabbing a cardboard sheet of magazine and flipping it in air. Simone was softly moaning in her sleep. Hilary rushed to the crib and began fanning her baby-daughter. The small breeze created caused the baby to calm down, quelling her irritation caused by flies and hotness of the room.
"Sleep Simone, sweetie. Sleep," Hilary nervously cooed.

"Kill them, Tyse!" Hilary devilishly commanded. He ran all over chasing, the clicking electrical sounds eliminating and killing all the mosquitoes in one go.

"These brats can't snatch the peace of my children. Now they'll face their demise!" He snickered, thumping on bed after killing all of them.

"Mom! Switch on the fan, please!" Makoto grumbled in sleep. Tyson rushed to him with another card board sheet and began fanning as well.

It was sweating hot, and both the parents who have met after a whole week, who probably deserved some decent peaceful talks if not romancing sassily, well... they were fanning their kids to ensure them a peaceful sleep. Not just that, if once anyone of the kids would be up, they wouldn't leave Tyson.

'DAD! YOU'VE COME! WHERE ARE CANDIES! WHERE IS DRAGOON!' Tyson smirked thinking that Makoto would beam at him in morning. Also, Simone would give that million dollars' worth sweet smile to him when he would nuzzle her. His fatherly affection have soared more after Simone has been born.

"My hands... are paining. This electrician... die in hell, moron!" Hilary huffed tiredly, fanning her daughter.

"I'm so jetlagged, Hil. I need sleep! My sleeeeepp!" Tyson moaned too, drained off, fanning lifelessly. Makoto was peacefully smiling in his sleep as the air flew around him coolly.

"I can't do this more..." Tyson and Hilary gasped, tired completely by this moment.

They dropped their cardboards finally. The kids were quiet this time. Tyson and Hilary sighed loudly in relief. Probably they were finally asleep! Exchanging timid and happy successful smiles, Tyson and Hilary crashed on the bed. He didn't even got changed. She threw her apron off on floor, and he discarded his shirt.

"I can't sleep with clothes on!" He gasped, sliding his one arm under the pillow. Hilary shot a look to him, "You mean shirt on? Not the clothes!"

"Whatever, Hils, whatever..." he whispered exasperatedly, complete beat right now. He pushed Makoto towards the edge, occupying center of the bed. Turning to Hilary, he draped another arm over her, pulling her close.

"We really need to get Makoto sleeping downstairs from now on... " he whispered,

"He's big now, I'll drop by furniture showrooms tomorrow from Clinic and check single beds," She agreed, placing back her hand on his bare chest.

"Plus we need our privacy too," he emphasized,

"This bed is no more sufficient for three of us now," he said her, trying to ignore how her fingers were crawling up and down his chest pretty sensually.

"Hmm," she droned mindlessly, closing her tired eyes. He was sleepy likewise. Her fingers finally rested on his abdomen as she dozed off. His nerves calmed down.

"Let's sleep, Himmy. Finally I'm at home," he mumbled in his sleep.

He missed this feeling. This very warm, homely feeling of being in his house, in his room on this bed, this scent, snuggled into her arms with the grateful acknowledgment of his kids around him. Even if it was sweating hot, no fans right now, sleeping in close quarters with his son and wife, he was still contended. Having his family under one roof, with him together by the end of the day, sleeping peacefully- that's all it mattered. That's what he called his life.

A/N: Ahmn, idea inspired by how dad chased off pigeons when we were kids. I still hate pigeons. XD Lol, I hope this random update was funny? Where did you laugh? Oh and could you relate? I hope you liked this chap, Cheena. :'D

Makoto: You were adopted, Noah. *smirks* you're not our real cousin.

Noah: W-What?

Sarah: *grins* That's the reason everyone loves me not you, except mama, my mama that is.

Makoto: Don't worry, we will treat you like our sibling *smirking more, pats Naoh*

Noah: No, mom! *cries and runs to Fae*
