"Who the hell is this?" Joe was on his feet. "I swear to god-"

"You are in no position to be asking anything especially in that tone of voice." The person on the other end snapped. "Now get to the damn address, be there in 25 minutes I won't ask again."

"This is atleast a 30 minute drive." Joe complained the address was in Queen's.

"Drive fast then and come alone, oh and your phone is cloned, make a stupid decision and see what happens to your son." Joe nodded biting his tongue. "Don't pick that up." confused by those words only for seconds later his phone began to ring, the caller ID reading 'Erin' Joe stood in genuine shock, glad he didn't call his bluff. "See you soon the clock starts now." The phone hung up, he bit his lip absolutely terrified about the events about to pass. With no time left he grabbed his keys and his off duty weapon took off.

Five minutes after Joe had left; "Hey babe, I think-" She paused confused not seeing him in the same place she had left him no later than ten minutes ago.

Joe sped through traffic even careful looking both ways before running red lights, he knew it was reckless but he didn't have a choice, he couldn't afford to sit at multiple lights. He was no less than 5minutes away at this point with 12 minutes to spare right when red and blue lights lit up the inside of his car, he looked back to the rearview mirror sighing in completely irritated, he watched one officer walk up to the passenger side of his car while the other one hung back, their hands on their holsters and precaution to the situation.

"Sir, step out." The officer ordered, the light shining in his face. Joe peeped the clock with only 7 minutes left to arrive at his destination, Joe did as he was told and stepped out his hands raised a bit as the officer had his pistol in hand. "Is there a reason you're speeding running lights? we caught you two lights ago and had to drive just as fast as you to catch up."

"I'm-"

"Price! we have a gun in the passenger seat." The officer partner interrupted flashing the light through the vehicle.

"Turn around." The officer said to Joe.

"Listen I'm-" The officer turned him around forcibly throwing him up against the car. "I'm a homicide detective out at the 29th!" The officer ignored Joe identifying himself, officer Price partner ran around to help, throwing Joe onto the floor cuffing him. "You guys got to be kidding." Joe gritted wasting time. "I'm detective Joseph Reagan."

"Yeah and I'm the pope." The officer sarcastically spat, that not finding a shield nowhere on Joe that proved his sentence.

"Check my wallet." Joe was pissed off at the officer's actions. The two officers looked at eachother, one giving the nod go ahead, completely calling his bluff the officer did just as Joe requested, finding Joe's driver's license proving his name, looking further finding his New York Police Department identification card clearly stating homicide detective on the front. Joe watched the idiotic smirk on their faces disappear, one of the two rushing to help Joe on his feet uncuffing him. Joe snatched his wallet from his hands.

"We're sorry you got a gun in your passenger seat you weren't sure-"

"When an officer identifies themselves, take that with a grain of salt, this is not how you handle a traffic stop." Joe yelled completely pissed off at the treatment he received.

"Sorry detective-" Joe shook his head with no time to spare getting back into his car driving off.

Finally arriving, unfortunately a minute late, he made his way into the building, his service pistol tucked away. He walked in seeing three faces he hated more than anything.

"Camia, Malevsky, Reinhart." Joe spoke their names in disgust.

"One minute late, I'm seriously disappointed." Sonny Malevsky spoke, hating Joe the most out of the three.

"Toss the weapon," Chris Reinhart only assumed he brought one. Joe seemed to think about it, he had no choice but to do it, it was three against one, he ended up removing the gun, putting it down and sliding it off to the side. "360." Joe lifted his shirt, turning in a 360 motion, proving he had no other weapons.

"I trust you weren't followed." Damon Camia bellowed.

"Of course not, I was however pulled over on my way here given the ridiculous amount of time you gave me to get here."

"We know, those were our guys." The three of them laughed. "We told them to ruff you up a bit," Joe clenched his jaw in anger. "Just to make sure you wouldn't say where you were going." The laughing continued.

"I'm here, what do you want." Joe meant business

"Easy there Reagan." Reinhart threatened.

"As you know we don't like you much." Sonny flat out said. "We allowed you in and you tried to betray us… we want pay back." Sonny held the gun at perfect aim of Joe's chest, not saying a word, he figured he was walking into a trap anyways.

"You all are thieves and murderers and you think I betrayed you?"

"The balls on this guy." Camia spoke. Unbelievable, Joe was on the other end of a gun with his son's life being threatened and he still can't keep it in. Sonny laughed, lowering the gun.

"You know what Joe…" Sonny spoke, re-holstering his gun. "We brought you here with intentions of murdering you." He spoke coldly, walking towards Joe. "But we decided that you're going to what we say." Joe stood there listening giving a cold glare. "You do however have no choice."

"Your son-" Camia began Joe's facial expression changing, obviously the mention of his child struck a nerve and it was all too obvious. "Your son is being carefully observed, you do something that pisses us off… goodbye Joe Jr." Joe heartbeat spiked, biting his tongue harder than ever.

"The two officers you ran into tonight, do you think they're the last? the templar is everywhere, different precincts, dispatch, TARU… One police plaza." Joe's was horrified. "Hell we're even correction officers at Rikers. We have guys up in Connecticut so you try something to alert someone to save your son, we'll kill him." Camia expressed no emotions anywhere Joe knew he was serious.

"Let's start shall we?" Sonny smiled seeing the uneasy in Joe's eyes. "You're going to be distant to your family, your girlfriend basically anyone." Sonny started off with the first demand, spilling the rest of his demands to Joe, the constant reminder of the threat of his son's life kept him in line.

When Joe returned to the parking garage of his apartment he looked at his phone he had a ridiculous amount of missed calls from Angela, his sister and both of his brothers. His phone was cloned and there was no telling how many other ways they have of monitoring him. He put the phone back into his pocket making his way up stairs. unlocking the door, finding Angela sitting nearly half asleep.

"Babe where have you been?" Angela worriedly stood up approaching him, in the dull moment of eye contact he had made with her, he almost gave in.

He took a few steps back as she approached him. She looked at him oddly. "What's wrong." He stood there saying nothing.

"This isn't going to work..." Joe deadpanned, Angela stood completely oblivious to his words. "I don't." Joe looked away trying to hold back his tears. "I don't want to be together anymore." his voice cracked.

"You don't mean that." Her eyes watered "He nodded. "I don't understand… we were just fine, everything was just fine! Where did you go for the last two hours?"

"It doesn't matter, i'm sorry... Angela." She put her hand over her mouth, turning away, he hadn't called her 'Angela' longer than she could remember, It was always 'babe' or 'Ang'

"Tell me why and I will leave you alone forever."

"You're going to make me say it." Angela stood silent with her back still turned waiting for his response.

"Say it Joe." She trembled hoping it was some kind of sick joke.

"I don't love you anymore." His breaths were shaky. She walked away disappearing into their bedroom. Joe wiped the tears from his eyes. "I could leave... you know giving you a few days." Angela returned minutes later carrying a stuffed bag. "I could go-"

"I'll be back in a few days to collect all my stuff." He caught a quick glance of her tear ridden eyes completely tearing him apart inside, departing the apartment.

Joe couldn't stand any longer his knees gave way from under him, he felt like he ran Marathon with how he was unable to control his heart and his breathing, this was only one of five, His son his pride and joy life was at stake he had no choice but to comply.

Erin played her music dancing around the house, cleaning her kitchen. Jack took Nikki for the week so Erin had it all to herself, she had her popcorn and wine already set on the coffee table and her movie was ready to be played. She cut off her music hearing the three rings from her Manhattan penthouse door, glancing at the clock she had no idea who could be at her door at this hour, building security wouldn't have just let anyone in and up, she walked to the peephole spotting a familiar face.

"Angela?" Erin opened the door, facial complete devastation it was obvious she had been crying.

"I'm sorry I came here so late, I just remember you told

me how you'd be alone this weekend and this is the first place i thought about going.." Angela weeped.

"Come in!" Erin closed the door confused at the sight of her bag but she ignored it for now. "What happened." She brought her over to her living room couch sitting her down.

"I don't know, I'm still trying to figure that out myself." She felt like she was in a horrible dream.

"Does Joe know you're here?" His name made tears spill from her eyes. "I'm going to call him-" Angela grabbed Erin's hand, stopping her.

"Erin, Joe… he broke things off with me." Hearing that was like fiction, Joe was absolutely head over heels for her, didn't make sense at all.

"Joe?" Angela nodded. "I don't understand-"

"Me either, Erin! before i called you wondering where the hell he went.. we were fine I surprised him and he seemed so happy- i just." She cried, Erin comforted

"I'll talk to him." She assured Angela. "You can stay here in the meantime." Angela nodded grateful.

"I'm going to get cleaned up, thanks for this Erin." She nodded when Angela disappeared down the hall Erin pulled out her phone dialing Joe, no answer.
