Dex's makeover session (bc I didn't include that yet)

Dex POV

I groaned, Biana's makeover sessions were always long, and then there's the not knowing what exactly she had planned. So, we got up and went to Biana's room. I hadn't been in here for a while, let alone only her and I (The rest of the group stayed down to talk). "Sooo," I droned, "what are you planning on doing?" She blushed, seriously, why do girls blush so much?

"Oh, you know, a little of this, some of that." I shrugged and sat in the chair she had in front of her vanity. As she was pulling things out of drawers her hair started falling to frame her face, she had put it in a loose braid that morning and now it was starting to come out. "You look pretty with your hair down." Her head snapped up and I realized I had voiced my thoughts. "You know, as a-"

"Hey Biana we couldn't find any more blankets and- am I interrupting… something?" Tam. I really don't want to have to compete with him, or at anyone at all. "Uhh, no." Her words told the truth, but our red faces told another. "The blankets are in a closet in the second hallway, wait why didn't you ask Fitz?"

"They just told me to-" He paused and scowled, then calmed down "I know why they sent me up here."

"Why?"

"Why?" Biana and my voices echoed each other.

"Look, can us three talk, like, without Dex and I having to arm wrestle?"

"Uh yeah, I don't want to do that again, you're strong Tam."

"Yeah you too. But can I check something with you first Dex?"

"Yeah." You don't realize how creepy it is to have someone closing shadows to you until it happens. Then he was in my head. 'Hey, I just wanted to ask you a clarifying question.'

"Ahhh!" I calmed down, although Biana did laugh at me a little, 'That's weird. And what's your question?'

'Hehe yeah, I enjoy the reactions.'

'That's understandable.'

'Okay so, you like Biana don't you?'

'Is it that obvious?'

'To boys who know well how your feelings impact your actions. To Biana, not so much.'

'Why- you like her too don't you.' I thought.

'Yeah. So, I say we don't tell her. Let each of us make sure, let her decide.' I sighed, 'Yeah, okay.' He pulled his shadows back. "That was long." Biana sighed, "Hey you both look down what happened?" Tam looked at me and I looked at him and we nodded. "Ok, so, Tam had a hunch about something and he wanted to make sure he was right, which he was." I started.

"We actually weren't going to tell you but I guess it's fine. So my hunch was that Dex likes you. And I wanted to know because I do too." Tam added. Biana looked down, "Look B," I started going over to her but stopped myself, "please don't think this changes anything, between us, or between Tam and I." I looked at him for confirmation.

"We just thought you should know." He finished. "And you guys should hurry up, I'm gonna wait here though so I don't get bombarded with questions when I go down there." Biana laughed, "Okay Dex, sit back down."

-Time skip-

My hair had gotten fairly long so Biana decided to do a little dutch braid on the top, I have no idea what the difference is between that and the other ones. She also made me let her paint my nails, she picked up a periwinkle blue color and I smiled, then gasped, "Man, B your fingers are freezing!"

"Dude you can't wiggle or it'll smudge." Tam popped in.

"How do you know? Linh paint your nails?" He nodded at Biana.

"Ugggh but her fingers are freezing." We all laughed at my outburst.

"Okay done." Biana exclaimed, "Now try not to smudge your nails."

"Yeah Dizznee, now come on, we've got mallowmelt to eat." And we filed out the door. Biana stayed back a second though, "You guys go, I'm just gonna do something real quick." She picked up a piece of paper and a pen.

"Uh okay?" Tam and I looked at each other then left.

Biana POV

I needed to write the boys a note, explaining… whatever it was I was feeling. I still needed to sort out my feelings, maybe… maybe Keefe could help since he's an empath. Or Sophie, since she gets liking two people at once. I'll ask her tomorrow, for now…

Dear Tam and Dex,

I know you are waiting on an answer from me, even if you deny it. I just… I need time to figure some things out.

Please don't hate me, Biana.

I hoped that would satisfy them. I folded the note and carried it downstairs with me. "Hey, Tam, Dex!" I called them over. They walked over, confused looks on their faces. "Yeah?"

They echoed each other, "Dude we have to stop doing that."

"Agreed."

"Here." I sighed and handed them the note, then crawled into the fort to sleep. "Hey, where are Sophie and Keefe?" I asked Linh.

"They went to talk, but by the amount of time it's taking I'd say they got distracted and are just looking into each other's eyes dreamily." She laughed.

"I need to tell you something." I looked around, and upon seeing over-protective-Ftiz talking to Wylie outside the fort I started whispering. "Look, so you know that dare earlier that if Tam won the arm wrestle he had to kiss me?" Linh just nodded. "So, I realized, before that it was kind of hidden in my brain, that I have some sort of feelings for both Tam and Dex. And both of them came up to me- heeeeeey Fitz!" He had stuck his head in the fort to see what we were whispering about, now he looked over to where Tam and Dex were talking, to me, back to the boys, and back to me again. "What did you hear?" I sighed, Linh laughed, or she was until Fitz sat next to her. "I heard you say that you have feelings for both of them." He replied, pointing to them, "And I understand."

"What?" Linh asked.

"You do?" I was very surprised at this development.

"Yeah…" He sighed, "I guess I'm getting this out now. You know I dated Sophie, and I still have feelings for her, much dimmer, but they're there…" Fitz trailed off.

"And who's the other-" I looked at my brother, then at Linh, then back to Fitz, "Ohhh."

"What?" Linh asked, "Did I- hang on. You mean to tell me, that Fitz," she turned to him, "that you, like me? Okay there is a lot of stuff happening tonight. I thought that you were talking about the lake earlier, I thought the glances I caught during truth or dare were just random, I thought" She started raising her voice a bit, "you probably liked someone at Foxfire, how could I have-"

"Linh, calm down." Fitz eased closer to her and I snuck out of the fort.

Fitz POV

"Look Linh, I did all those things because I like you, you just didn't pick up on them."

"You're serious?" She sighed.

"Of course," I started leaning closer to her, "Linh, can I kiss you?" She whispered too, "Yeah, and I was going to ask the same thing." She pressed her lips to mine. She was gentle, but conveyed enough emotion that it didn't need anything else. We pulled away and smiled at each other.
