Animal Makes the Person and The Person Makes Animal

It was another typical day at the Grant Mansion. Macy and Amy were waiting outside the door of a room where Tina was working on her newest couture. They could actually hear a lot of noises going on in there. And it did not sound pleasant.

Sage trotted up in wolf form; his tail swishing casually, as he moved.

BANG! CRASH!

Ears perking nervously, Sage moved around the corner of the hall; finding Macy in one of the lounge rooms looking at a closed door.

"Hey, what's going on?" Sage asked, as he moved to nuzzle their hands for a pat.

"Just Tina working on her newest outfits," Macy replied, chilling as if this was not a big deal.

"This is practically normal with my sister in this process of creating fashion," Amy explained, checking on her phone. "She has meltdowns on being stuck all the time,"

"Hmmm," Sage purred, as he moved to the partially opened door where he gently pushed his head through to peer in.

Within his view, he saw a lot of cloths and fabrics all over the room. It was like a fashion tornado hit this place. At the center was Tina stressing out on making the next outfit.

"Ugh! No!" Tina yelled, already knocking down a manikin before stomping down to a pile of clothes and fell face-first in it to scream. "OF ALL THE CRAZY SITUATIONS IN THE UNIVERSE, WHY ARE ALL THE HORRIBLE THINGS HAPPENING TO ME NOW?!" she muffled through the clothes.

Sage carefully squirmed into the room, stepping over swatches of fabric and thread, nearly tripping over a manikin to come to Tina's side.

"Tina?" Sage said, nuzzling into her hip and leg.

"I wasn't having a meltdown! Who said I was having a meltdown?! I AM NOT HAVING A MELTDOWN!" Tina shouted, already getting her face out of the clothes, and looking around who was talking to her.

Sage sat back a moment, before moving forward and licking her hand plus fingers while rubbing his head into Tina's thigh; giving off his calming purring growl.

"Oh, Sage...It's just you," Tina said, sounding more calm and pleasant when realizing it's only the Wolfblood.

"Yeah. You okay? It...It looks like a bomb went off in here," Sage replied looking around.

Tina sighed, looking down in embarrassment as she brushed some hair back from her face. "Forgive my un-ladylike behavior from earlier, Sage. This is my usual cycle when I'm stuck on figuring out some new outfits. It's organized chaos that I do while working."

Sage looked around, for a minute, before looking at Tina. "Well...would you like an untrained eye for some help? I may not know a lot about fashion, but I do know what looks good from light perspectives from being a photographer."

"...At this point, I'm willing to have any type of help," Tina replied, standing up.

Sage nuzzled her. "Well, get a drink, first. Then, I'll help you."

Sighing, Tina walked out of the room so she could get some water.

A little while later, the room was in slightly better shape than before. They could at least walk on the floor safely.

"See, Tina? If you used all those sequins, then no one could see it or no one can photograph it," Sage said, as Tina showed a picture to prove his point.

"Huh...That actually makes better sense," Tina said, impressed by Sage's pointers.

Sage smiled. "Also, with this Big Chill dress, you might want to pick the bottom up a bit just so the man who's with the girl doesn't trip over it, if their dancing close. One time, when I was practicing dancing with Macy, that happened and I ended up on my back with a bruise the size of a dinner plate."

Tina chuckled. "You do make a good point. I was having a hard time on which length of that dress works. Guess it's a good thing you're here to help me narrow down those decisions."

Sage smiled. "Life experience helps a lot with these types of things."

"I simply can't thank you enough, Sage. With your help, this first ever alien themed fashion line is going to go great!" Tina exclaimed.

Sage nodded. "I have to say, you do some fine work. These really do look like my uncles. What got you into fashion?"

"Well, Sage, I've been into fashion since I was ten. Back then, I wasn't sure what I was going to be," Tina explained, thinking back about her past. "Then, one day, my mom brought me to the Brooklyn Fashion show. My first one. When the show started, I was amazed by all the different colors and designs the models were wearing. It made me want to create something as amazing as theirs. So, from there, I got to studying the art of fashion and learned how to sew. I managed to get some money for making costumes at the New York theaters group after showing my designs. Got enough cash to make my own boutique."

"Well, you definitely got a knack for it. Other than shortening the sleeves up a little on the Heatblast dress, nothing else seems to be out of place," Sage said with a smile.

"Great. One last thing. What kind of animals do you think each of us could be, if we were?" Tina asked. "To be specific, Macy, Amy, me, Tommy, Andy, and Marcus."

Sage looked at her, curiously. "Why do you want to know that?"

"Just wondering how you would see us if we were different creatures like you," Tina shrugged.

"Well...Macy is a wolf like me, but...pure white like the moon itself. Tommy, with his nonstop chatting, is more of a chipmunk. You, Tina? I see you as a fox. You have a clever attitude and like to be mischievous. Your sister, Amy, is a snowy owl because she's quiet, but is steadfast in her ways. Andy would be a beaver because of his intellect in building things. And Marcus...I have to say he is like a fawn learning to grow into his legs. But when he does, he will be a magnificent stag," Sage said, as he helped take pictures of the outfits.

Tina chuckles, already writing in her notepad. "Those do sound like us,"

Sage chuckled. "You know, with Macy and Tommy being around, it's really made me feel like I had my family back."

"How so?" Tina asked with a smirk.

"Macy...she is very important to me. When I'm around her, it's like I can think straight. Like I can see when everything was once clouded," Sage replied. "While Tommy keeps me grounded, and he lets me show my protective nature and accepts it."

"Sounds like the work of love in the equation. One that helps you around," Tina said, giving a caring smile while sketching on her notepad. "I sometimes wish I find a guy that would do the same for me. Macy is lucky to have someone like you, Sage."

Sage smiled. "I'm the lucky one. Without her, I have a feeling I would have been lost a while ago. I'm sure there's someone out there for you, too, Tina. And whoever they are will be a very lucky man."

"I hope so. It's not just me I'm hoping to find the right guy. I usually wish my sister would look for a boy that's into the same field as her...Or at least, likes her as the tech genius in trying to help humanity with her inventions and formulas," Tina replied.

Sage smiled. "I'm sure when the time is right, you both will find someone. Do you need help with anything else or should I send your models in?"

"I think that's pretty much everything. Once I get everyone's measurements and make the clothes, I'll be sure to take a break before the actual show," Tina replied, already looking up from her notepad.

Sage smiled, as he reached behind the table in revealing a leafy green salad, a small fruit salad, and a chocolate muffin with a protein drink.

"If you're friends with Macy, then I'm betting you're a workaholic. Here. Make sure to finish it," Sage said with a smirk.

Tina chuckled, giving a caring smile. "Thank you, Sage."

Sage nodded. "Give a call and I'll help you out more."

"Of course. Thanks again for helping me," Tina said, already standing up and getting back to work.

After two weeks, Tina was finally finished and couldn't wait to present her newest line of fashion to the Grant Mansion residents.

Sage was anxiously messing with the tie of the Vladat tux. His palms were sweating, as he tried to calm down. He had never modeled before, and the Wolfblood was not completely sure he made this suit look good.

Seeing the Wolfblood nervous, Tina walked over and helped him calm down. "It's okay, Sage. You look fabulous. There's no reason to be nervous. You're only presenting in front of your friends and family. This should be a real walk in the park for you," she assured.

Sage looked at her nervously. "This is nothing like a walk in the park. In the park, I can run and act like a pup. This...this is nerve-wracking."

"I've been through situations like that on my first runways, myself. So have Macy and Amy," Tina explained, fixing up the bat bow tie by adjusting it a little so it wouldn't choke his neck. "But we managed to get through it by being ourselves and having fun. Just think of the things that make you happy, take a deep breath, and walk out there to show what you got,"

Sage took a breath. "One step at a time," he said out loud.

"Exactly. You and Macy have been through way more dangerous and adventurous things together. Modeling should be fun for you,"

"Just like us showing off while playing," Sage said with a smile.

Tina chuckled. "Pretty much. If you want, I can present the little ones first and we can go after."

"Yeah, I need a minute, please. Think you can send Macy over here, please?" Sage asked, wanting Macy to help him calm down.

"Okay, I'll get Macy to help you and present the kids first," Tina nodded her head and moving.

Sage nodded as he sat down feeling like there were butterflies in his stomach.

"Oh boy," he said, putting his head between his knees, as he began to feel nauseous.

Eventually, Macy came in wearing an ice blue Heatblast themed dress and black boots.

"Sage? Are you okay?" the Brunette questioned with concern.

Sage looked up and his jaw dropped. "Now I know what you meant when you said you were bringing the heat."

Macy couldn't help but laugh on that one while blushing. "What can I say? Anything that's fire-themed is perfect for me to wear," she explained, sitting next to Sage. "But seriously, what's wrong? Tina told me that you were feeling nervous."

"More like nauseous. I'm not too good with showing off for a crowd like this. I don't know the first thing about modeling," Sage said, as he tried to relax.

Macy giggled. "I thought the same thing, too, on my first performance in modeling in front of a crowd. I was so terrified that I didn't want to leave the room."

"Not really getting me excited here. Mace," Sage replied, doubting more.

"Let me finish. Although I was unsure, I had my parents encourage me to be myself and just focus on them looking at me, instead," Macy calmly explained. "As long as I'm out there with the people I love supporting me, what do I have to care what everyone else thinks?"

Sage smiled. Megan and his family were out there waiting to see the new creations. Whampire had been exceedingly curious on how the Vladat Tux would turn out. Taking a deep breath, Sage nodded then stood up.

"Alright...I think I'm good now," Sage said

"If you want, we can go out there together," Macy reasoned.

Sage smiled. "I'd like that. I'd really like that."

Just then, Tina arrived in her blue Big Chill ball gown and her sister, Amy, wearing an Ectonurite themed dressed complimented with a green and purple chained belt and bracelet.

"Hey, you two. You ready?" Tina asked.

"We sure are. And we'll be going out there together," Macy grinned.

"Great! I'll be sure to present you both to everyone," Tina replied with excitement.

Sage gulped, as he took Macy's hand squeezing it slightly.

"Just relax, Sage. I'm right by your side," Macy assured, slowly walking forward.

"Now, presenting out next line of fashion, one inspired by Heatblast and the other by a few certain Vladats," Tina announced, giving a playful wink.

Taking a deep breath, Sage stepped out onto the stage; deciding to play it like a game or a dance with Macy. After walking a couple of feet, Sage gently twirled her in a circle before walking again to the end where he playfully dipped her, before the two striding to the beginning of the runway.

Smiling, Tina decided to continue. "As you can see, the Vladat tux and Pyronite dress are not only stylish, but also flexible for dances," she explained.

Sage did one more dip, before they stepped behind the curtain where he released his held breath.

"Okay...meeting your parents was way worse than that," Sage said with a large sigh.

Macy smiled and gave Sage a kiss on the cheek. "You did amazing out there. I told ya you just had to be yourself."

Sage smiled. "Well, it's easier when I'm showing off how amazingly beautiful you are."

"Aw, stop. I'm the one showing off how handsome you are," Macy remarked.

"No, I think your outshining me, by far." Sage replied.

"Don't be ridiculous!"

Macy and Sage turned their heads to see Tina grinning. "You both were fabulous out there, and everyone loved what you did!"

"Looks like we're up next, sis," Amy replied, already putting on her black Barea.

"Right. Let's do this, Amy," Tina grinned, following her older sister out in the runway.

Sage smiled, as the sisters strutted out onto the walkway; showing their confidence both inside and outside.

"Yep. Those Fitzpatrick Sisters sure know how to model," Macy admitted.

Sage smiled. "They're amazing friends, Macy."

Macy chuckled. "I know. They're extraordinary as your family and yourself."

"Definitely," Sage said, as the girls came back with large smiles.

"Now that was fun!" Tina exclaimed, doing a twirl in happiness. "I believe everyone liked the alien designed outfits I made!"

"How could they not? You make the best clothes ever," Amy grinned.

"I think you'll have quite the sale with the family." Sage said knowing that a few of the adults wanted to get their kids outfits that looked like them.

"It would seem so. Don't worry, Sage. I'll be sure not to tell people that my inspiration came from actual aliens. Seeing that you are trying to protect your family and all," Tina assured.

Amy nodded her head in agreement. "Don't you have one more line to show?"

Tina blinked in realization. "Oh, yes! Thanks for reminding me, Amy! Macy, get your brother, our cousin, and Marcus, please!" She exclaimed.

"On it!" Macy replied, already hurrying.

Sage looked around curiously. "Another line?"

"A last minute line that I had to do. You'll see," Tina reasoned with a smile.

"Okay," Sage said, as he stood by the curtain to watch; still very curious to see what this next line would be.

"Trust me, you're going to love it," Tina assured, already moving to switch into her new outfit.

Sage quickly changed out of his outfit and into a hoodie and sweat pants, before returning to behind the curtain.

"And now, ladies gentle-aliens, here is our last special line of fashion!" Tina's voice spoke loud enough for the crowd to hear. "Inspired and helped by Sage Jocklin, I give you...Nature-Chic!"

On cue, Tina comes out wearing a dress in the style of a silver fox with a tail around her neckline, a boa and her hair in an up-do. Then, Amy shows up in a snowy owl themed dress with her glasses white and crystal blue, and her hair acquainted with a few feathers in a Princess Leah hair style. Next, Tommy showed up in a chipmunk themed hoodie jumpsuit, Andy in a beaver themed jacket and re-attachable tail, and Marcus in a fawn themed shirt, pants, and cap.

Sage felt a large smile come to his face.

"So that's why Tina asked me that question before," Sage smirked, as he watched the boys and girls walk down the runway. "Where's Macy, though?"

"Waiting for you to put on the outfit," a voice answered from behind.

Turning around, Sage stared in awe at Macy. She had on a dress that was going just below her knees, a headband with fluffy white ears with gold trimming holding her hair back, and some boots. The teen then stared at the outfit in her hands.

It was a soft, grey vest with a darker grey shirt and pants. The fur on the vest was soft and supple.

"Wow. Tina out did herself," he muttered.

"She always does," Macy grinned, already giving Sage the outfit. "Now, come on! Put on the suit so we can get out there together!"

Sage was faster with this change and, when he came out, he could have sworn that he saw Macy drool.

"Like what you see?" Sage asked.

"Oh, yeah..." Macy gushed, seriously in awe with Sage wearing the new outfit.

"Hey! What's keeping you two? You're up already!" Amy proclaimed, already poking her head out of the curtain.

Sage blushed, as he offered his arm.

"Shall we show the people a couple of alpha mates ready to howl at the moon?" Sage asked.

"We shall," Macy answered, smiling lovingly, and putting her arm around his.

Soon, the two were twirling and dancing on the runway. Sage making strong dynamic movements, as Macy moved around him with her dress sparkling in the light.

"AAAAAAAAAWWWWWWRRRRROOOOOOO!"

Macy sighed lovingly, still moving and drawing close to her wolf love.

Sage smiled, as they finished with him French kissing Macy when he dipped her.

"And this concludes the Fashion Show! Hope you all enjoyed it!" Tina announced.

Walking back, Sage smiled as they stopped in front of Tina. "How was that?"

"Absolutely magnificent!" Tina smiled proudly.

"Guess I just had to feel my element," Sage said, looking at Macy lovingly.

"I told you that you could never go wrong at being yourself," Tina reminded, giving a wink.

"Huh...Oh, sorry, Tina. Did you say something?" Sage said, coming back from looking at Macy

Tina chuckled, not offended by Sage's absent mind. "Never mind."

Sage smiled. "So how many requests for alien or nature chic outfits did you get?"

"I practically got over a dozen orders. Apparently, all the kids from here want an outfit inspired by their alien dads," Tina grinned.

Sage smiled. "I can't wait to see the dozen different little aliens running around."

Macy couldn't help but laugh at that. "Oh, I am so looking forward to that!"

Just then, Tommy came in stomping and ticked off with the other Mystery Crusaders following him. "Remind me again, whose bright idea was it to put us in outfits that make us look and feel like idiots?" he grumped.

"I don't know what you're complaining about. I look hot in this fawn outfit," Marcus argued, already posing.

"And I can see some cool uses with this beaver tail," Andy seconded that motion, moving around to shake that fake tail of his.

Tommy just facepalmed. "Not helping, guys."

Sage smiled. "Tommy, I'm the one that suggested the animals."

"I should have known," Tommy deadpanned.

"Come on, Tommy. You look adorable in that chipmunk outfit," Tina reasoned.

"It really does fit you, Tommy," Sage said, giving a comforting smile.

"I'll say," Macy agreed, smiling pleasingly.

"This is so humiliating," Tommy muttered, his cheeks turning red in embarrassment while closing the hood part in covering his face.

Sage went over and placed a hand on Tommy's shoulder. "You know, there's another animal I see in you, as well."

"Oh, yeah? And what's that?" Tommy asked, not looking up.

"To me, you're also like a lynx or a mink. You are hidden at times yet you can suddenly show yourself when needing to. You're also clever and quick," Sage said with a smile.

Tommy lifted his head a bit on that. "Really?",

"Really. We also know you in being a playful wolf cub as well." Sage said, ruffling his hair.

"And there's no changing nor lie to that," Macy grinned, folding her arms.

Tommy slowly lifted his hood off covering his head and smiled. "...That is true."

Sage smiled. "I think it's time to settle down for the night. Everyone, meet in my room for pack night."

"YAY! Pack night! Pack night! Pack night!" The Mystery Crusaders cheered, already hurrying to change and get ready.

Macy giggled. "I think you made their night,"

"I think I did, too," Sage said with a smile.

And so, the Wolfblood watched everyone go to get ready for the night. Fashion seemed to have brought a closer bond in his packmates, and now, Sage was beginning to see new members join his pack, as well. All thanks to fashion.

And this concludes another collab story. Hope you all enjoy. No flames please.

By the way, I did make actual fashion drawing designs that include Tina in her Big Chill ballgown and Macy in her winter wolf dress. In fact, almost exactly two years ago, I drew it as a special birthday gift for my userfriend, Steelcode. So, Steel, hope you don't me saying happy early birthday to you and that you keep on staying safe with your family during the holidays.

Stay safe and healthy, everyone.
