Epilogue

One day later…

FBI Headquarters

Colby came into the office, happy with himself with how case had finally gone now, and they finally managed to take down several corrupt businessmen. They are still working out the details, but Colby got the gist of it.

Gleason was frustrated with Mercer's handling of his side of the business, even with the drug smuggling and the fraud going on. He thought that his nephew and his partner would help straighten things out, not knowing that Justin had no idea of what was going on and was growing wary of Mark until the day of the shooting, which Colby had no doubt as that was what the argument was about.

Sawyer's death was because Gleeson thought he was a switch not that he could have been an undercover agent, assuring that Sawyer's cover was not blown, to everyone's relief and they can use the evidence he got for Gleeson and Mercer's prosecution.

Mason is indeed the long missing brother that Mercer was looking for and was stealing the money because he felt he was owed the money from the father who thought he was someone else's and was planning on going to a country with no treaty with US when got to a desired amount.

Mercer is going to testify against both men in exchange for a lighter sentence and is still going away for a long time. It was a victory of very long, grueling case that only took a week, which amazed Colby but he knew he had a great team so it was no surprise to him.

He noticed Liz looking the paperwork and decided to go see she wanted a break or not.

"Hey Warner, how is it going? Relieved that the case is over?" Colby asked.

"Oh yeah, it's just, you know… One of those cases." She said with a tired smile.

"Hey want to go have coffee somewhere and go to the Eppes house later, Alan is throwing a Bar-be-que." Colby said.

"Sure, your treat?" Liz asked.

"You bet." Colby said with a smile.

"Great, let's go." She said as she and Colby headed for the elevator.

'Yep, things are definitely looking up.' Colby thought to himself.
