You Can Trust The Green Tea

DISCLAIMER: The world and characters of Boku no Hero Academia belongs to Kōhei Horikoshi. I don't own anything from the series, but I have ownership of any use of my original characters.

AUTHOR'S NOTE: So the Suspected Traitor!Izuku stories I've seen and read lately (mostly on AO3) intrigued me. But what caught my eye was that Uraraka is one of the people in most of them who believes sweet innocent Midoriya could actually betray them only to be very remorseful when it's learned that they were completely wrong and assumed shit. So, with this story… I'm aiming to rectify this with some IzuOcha… because when only ONE person in your entire class truly believes you're innocent, it's less lonely having that one special person behind you at all times.

She suspected something was wrong when Izuku did not return back to the dorms after class ended. Of course, when Aizawa-sensei requested someone to stay behind after class, it could mean a variety of things. Maybe Izuku just needed to have a word with their teacher about a school subject? Or maybe he was being requested to see another teacher for something. She thought he was likely with All Might again, since All Might does seem to have a familiar bond with her favorite green-haired friend. Or maybe Aizawa-sensei would want him to play with Eri again. She figured Izuku would be okay, and she would gather her things, her book bag, and exit the school to return back to the dorms. She had homework to work on, after all.

Later that evening she overheard her classmates talking about Izuku upon entering the common area.

"What's going on?" she asked Tsuyu.

Tsuyu and the other girls looked to Ochako.

"Uh… Ochako, you should sit down."

"Hm?" She sat down, anyway. "Okay, what's up, Tsuyu?"

"Aizawa-sensei spoke to us earlier. You were in the bath, though." Tsuyu looked very hesitant.

"And? What did he speak to you all about then?" she asked.

"Midoriya… he's been identified as the traitor selling out UA to the League of Villains," said Momo.

Ochako stared at them.

"Oh… real funny. That's a funny but sick joke, girls. There's no way that Deku-kun would ever be a traitor to the school."

The other girls weren't laughing. Ochako felt sick to her stomach when none of the girls said anything to alleviate that it was a joke.

"… Girls… that's not funny! Deku would never do anything villainous!" Ochako yelled aloud.

She then noticed everyone else in the common room were oddly silent in regards to Izuku.

"He's always writing in his notebooks," Denki pointed out.

Eijiro nodded. "Not to mention the crazed muttering he did during the Sports Festival, remember?"

"Creepy, if you ask me," mutters Minoru.

Katsuki muttered something under his breath, but mostly kept quiet, not really caring about Izuku.

Ochako stared in disbelief. She then looked to Tenya.

"Iida, you can't possibly believe this crap, do you?" she asked of him.

Tenya looked uncomfortable. "Uraraka… Aizawa-sensei… I doubt that he would make accusations without proof, and he-"

"He's not a traitor!" Ochako cuts off Tenya. "Deku-kun isn't! All of you are jumping to baseless conclusions!"

"But Ochako, Aizawa said that he discovered proof and that's why-"

"Shut up!" She yelled at Tsuyu, at everyone in the common area. "Just shut up! Shut up! Shut up! Shut up! Shut the fuck up!"

She ran back upstairs, not wanting to be around the rest of her classmates. She ran to her room and slams the door shut, locking it. Tears were welling up in her eyes.

Why would they even THINK Deku-kun would do something like that? She thought, as she flops onto her bed and on the verge of crying. Ochako did not want to believe it. Because it sounded like complete utter bullshit.

Little did she know that right at this moment, Izuku was all alone in a make-shift prison cell in a room somewhere within UA, isolated from the outside world. He had been brought into the room after class and ever since, he's been accused of doing this and that. They demanded he tell them things that he never did. Tell them things that he would never do. And then being physically assaulted by two police detectives who were trying to basically torture him for information that never existed. He was hurt. He was tired. He was hungry. He was still handcuffed by the wrists and the ankles with quirk suppressors. His book bag was stripped from him and held elsewhere, claimed as 'evidence'. Izuku had no clue how long he'd been locked up in that small room. But his eyes opened from what little sleep he could get hearing the door open and in stepped another officer. He vaguely remembered him from the USJ after the whole incident with Shigaraki's invasion.

"Midoriya, I'm Detective Tsukauchi. Do you remember me from after the USJ incident?"

Izuku did not trust his voice, so he nodded yes.

"I'm going to ask a couple questions, okay?"

Tsukauchi had been busy the previous two days chasing down a lead that ended up false, when he caught word from the police chief that the UA Traitor was found and held at the school. And he went over as soon as he was able to. Meeting Yagi and his colleagues, he was introduced to the two rookie detectives that pretty much stated that the suspect was close to breaking and they were ready to interrogate again.

Tsukauchi just could not believe that the suspect was a MINOR. And it was Toshinori's successor for One For All. He was mad. Midoriya was still an underage minor and what had happened should have never happened at all. But with his quirk Lie Detector, he wanted to get to the bottom of things. After all, he was the one in charge of the case, not the two rookies. He knew in his heart that this was going to end up a huge misunderstanding…

… And he hated being right. The questions he asked, his quirk never pinged at him to indicate false statements or any form of lying. Every single-worded answer was TRUTH.

"One final question: Why do you write about quirks in your notebooks?"

Izuku's eyes were downcast.

"Hobby from age four… when I was diagnosed quirkless. I liked studying about different quirks and understand them so I can try to still achieve my dream to be a hero…"

Tsukauchi's quirk response: TRUTH.

Tsukauchi was tired. What a cluster fuck.

"Okay… it's very clear you've been telling the truth the entire time."

"Then why was I beaten up?"

The man had no clear answer. However, he was determined to destroy the two rookies' careers once this was over and Midoriya was safely in his dorm room again. And he'll have to call his mother to inform her of an otherwise illegal interrogation upon a helpless innocent minor without a lawyer or his parent involved. It was going to be a bad day for all involved. The door opened and Tsukauchi exited, holding Midoriya close, the cuffs removed. He had even wrapped his coat around the boy's shoulders who was holding onto it like it was his only lifeline. He felt very sad seeing how intimidated the boy felt around the other adults, adults who were supposed to be his teachers.

Little did Tsukauchi knew that all the built self-confidence and self-esteem Izuku acquired since going to UA had been demolished and he's reverted back to his old shy and scared self; the frightened timid boy from his middle school days was back.

Tsukauchi stared at the adults.

"He's one hundred percent innocent," said the detective, glaring. "I hope you're proud of yourselves."

And he led the teen out of that room, and towards the outside, not caring of the sudden thoughts of turmoil and chaos he wrought in the teachers' minds as he exited with the teenager. The detective swore a promise to himself to have the badges of the two bastards that performed the illegal interrogation and have them stripped of both rank and job. Have them crucified.

"What day is it?"

Tsukauchi sighs softly.

"You've been held for the past two days… illegally, I may add."

Izuku said nothing. Being in that room isolated from the world screwed up his perception of time.

The walk was agonizing for the teen, in the cold December snow, but Tsukauchi arrived to the teen's dormitory building and he opened the door, thankful it was unlocked. The man caught the attention of Class 1-A, all in the middle of eating dinner. Yes, it was that late. The warmth was welcoming.

"Deku-kun!" Ochako screamed, running from her spot at the sofa; she was not eating with her classmates. She rushed to Izuku and hugged him tightly.

"Wait! What's the traitor doing here?" Minoru shouted, panicking. "He should be in prison!"

Tsukauchi leveled a glare at the diminutive teen.

"If proper protocol was followed, none of this wouldn't have happened. Your friend has been innocent this entire time."

Ochako gasped, before looking to her classmates and looked viciously smug.

"Ha! Told you! I fucking told you! Deku was innocent this entire fucking time!"

"Call me Izuku… I hate the name Deku," Izuku whispers softly.

Ochako looked back to Izuku, shocked. But she slowly nodded.

"Okay… I won't say that name again… Izuku…"

"Innocent? Are you sure?" blurted out Hanta.

"My quirk is called Lie Detector."

That's all the answer they need to know. It now begins to dawn on the rest of Class 1-A what had happened. And half of them were now beginning to look guilty. Tsukauchi didn't like their looks; it clearly said they believed their friend would actually betray them. He looks to the distraught teen still hugged by his brunette friend who looked like she wanted to take all of his pain and misery away from him. Was she the only one who really believed in Midoriya's innocence?

"Midoriya… could you dial your mother's number into my phone so I can speak to her, please? Then you should get some rest… I… I can understand how rough it's been for you, son."

After Izuku did just that, Ochako took him away upstairs after grabbing her plate of half-eaten food. Tsukauchi steps outside, closing the door behind him with a soft click.

"… Guys… I think we messed up," says Eijiro slowly.

The worst thing they just realized: tomorrow was Christmas Day. And ever since they (previously) believed that Izuku Midoriya was a traitor, any Christmas gifts they had for him were either thrown away or some of them had the gifts returned and their money refunded.

Upstairs, Izuku directed Ochako to take him to her room, citing he didn't want to be anywhere near his hero merchandise. She relented in his request and brought him to her dorm bedroom. Normally, she would be all flustered having Izuku in her room, but considering he was gone for TWO days, and looking like an assault victim, the only thing in her mind was protecting him. Once closing the door, she helped him to sit down gently by her coffee table, and sets the plate of food down.

"Here. I bet you're hungry so you can have the rest of my dinner."

"T-Thank y-you," he says to her, stuttering a bit.

Ochako frowned at the stutter in his words. She didn't like it; it reminded her of the first few weeks of the new school year just starting to know everybody in 1-A, and how shy and sometimes insecure he was before he slowly started to gain confidence and more assertive. Her heart ached. She had a dark feeling that whatever had happened to him destroyed his self-confidence and self-esteem. She stayed close to him as he polished off her plate of food. She reached into her mini-fridge she had from her old apartment before moving into the dorms with everyone and took out a bottle of water and handed it to him. He drank it all.

"Thank you…"

"No problem, Izuku. C'mon, let's get you into bed."

Ochako helped Izuku into bed, covering him with the blanket.

"It hurts," Izuku whispers, tears falling.

Ochako also teared up.

"I never believed them for a second, Izuku," Ochako told the greenette. "I know you have such a righteous heart and a pure innocent soul. You would never hurt anyone intentionally."

Izuku sniffled.

"T-thank you… Uraraka-san…"

"Ochako."

He stared, blinking away his tears. "Huh?"

"It's Ochako. And you're welcome, Izuku."

She got back onto her feet from kneeing by her bed, but before she could walk, Izuku snatched her wrist firmly.

"Stay… I d-don't want t-to be alone… please… I don't want to be isolated a-again…"

Ochako's heart wretched at the pure desperation from his voice. The fear.

What the hell did they do to you, Izuku?

"Okay."

She went to her desk and put on special gloves that only left her index and middle fingers exposed. Albeit blushing, she climbed into bed after turning off the lights, and Izuku clung to her. She wrapped her arms around the teen and held onto him.

"I won't let anyone hurt you, Izuku. I promise you…"

Silence reigned.

"Ochako?"

"Yes, Izuku?"

"If I… decide to withdraw from UA… would you join me?"

Dot, dot, dot…

"Yes. I will join you if you left this school. I won't abandon you."

A soft sigh of relief.

"T-thank you… Ochako…"

Ochako struggled to sleep that night, not fully knowing what kind of unwanted pain and likely abuse was inflicted upon her most cherished friend who she was in love with. But though she did eventually get some sleep in, she made a vow to mend the hurt he was experiencing, even if it took the rest of her life. She would be his personal hero.

Shouta Aizawa was in the teacher's lounge, overlooking the notebook that started this nightmare. The more he read, the more he understood he developed tunnel vision; he only focused on the weakness portions, but did not see the scrawls of information that would allow the weaknesses to be overcome and turned into actual strengths. And after reading through the entire notebook, Aizawa realized he had royally screwed up. He had irreversibly shattered the trust that he had developed since becoming Midoriya's homeroom teacher.

Toshinori Yagi was in his room at the teacher's dorms, hands on his head, hunched over sitting on the edge of his bed. How could he ever believe Midoriya would betray the school? Why did this all happen in the first place? He hated it. He really hated himself. He heard Midoriya crying and sobbing and believed it was a play! Fake! The man had no idea how he could ever look his successor in the eyes again after two days of what was essentially a heinous crime. In fact, the gaunt skinny blond wouldn't doubt Midoriya if he decided not to see him as his mentor anymore. He feared what Nana would think of him if she was still alive…

At her home, Inko Midoriya was absolutely distraught over what she had learned from the phone call with Detective Naomasa Tsukauchi, what heinous act had befallen her innocent son. She wasn't alone. Her best friend Mitsuki Bakugo was there to keep her company for the night. Inko did not trust herself to be alone for that night. Thankfully Mitsuki was a really great friend. Inko knew that tomorrow she was going to be busy finding a law firm that would help her sue the shit outta UA for letting an illegal interrogation happen towards her precious Izuku. Tomorrow wasn't going to be a very merry Christmas…

=0=0=0=0=

It was quiet in the common room that morning. No one really did any gift exchanging. Outside though one can hear some shouting coming from Bakugo arguing with his mom over the phone. The fact of the revelation their classmate Izuku was innocent of the accused crimes still weigh heavily on their minds.

Ding.

All heads turn to the elevator and out steps Izuku and Ochako. Ochako still kept her gloves on so she could firmly hold Izuku's hand in hers. Izuku went timid upon all the eyes staring at him and he curled closer to Ochako, not wanting to see their eyes. Ochako cast a glare at her fellow classmates as Izuku and her went into the kitchen. A few of the other teens looked away in guilt; Izuku STILL looked like he had been in a fight – which isn't far from the truth as he had been beaten up by the two cops whilst being interrogated illegally.

He asked Ochako when he woke up about who else believed his innocence. Sadly, no one else wanted to entertain the idea he wasn't a traitor.

"I'll just grab some snacks from the pantry and we'll stay upstairs, okay, Izuku?"

"Y-yeah… s-sure thing, Ochako…"

Izuku felt very uncomfortable with everyone else now. They believed he would betray them. It really hurt him that he now couldn't trust any of them, that whatever friendships he once had with them was now broken. He was happy, however, knowing that Ochako would never believe any of the lies of him betraying the school. She was the only one who vouched for his innocence.

"Um… Midoriya?"

Izuku ignored the person speaking to him.

"Midoriya… listen, bro-"

"Don't talk to me," Izuku cuts off Eijiro.

Ochako fetched the cookies and other Christmas candies before looking to Izuku.

"Let's go, Izuku."

Izuku nodded, hurrying after Ochako back to the elevator.

"Midoriya-chan! Ochako-chan! Wait a moment," Tsuyu called out.

"You lost the right to refer to me by my first name, Asui," Ochako snaps at the frog girl. Tsuyu looked extremely hurt from Ochako's words. "You and everyone else thought Izuku would hurt us, but you were all proven wrong! So leave us alone!"

The elevator doors opened, they stepped in, and then the doors closed. Ochako punched the button for her floor.

"I'm sorry Izuku. I know Christmas Day isn't a good one this morning…"

"It's okay, Ochako… I'm sorry I don't have a suitable Christmas gift for you… I mean, I do, but it's… it's an All Might key chain but… All Might… he…"

Ochako frowned. Even All Might thought he was a traitor? She gazed right into his eyes.

"Having you safe and sound with me is a good enough gift, Izuku. Right now, all I want for Christmas is you with me."

Izuku blushed, smiling softly at her sincerity.

"I want you, too."

Ochako blushed at his words, but smiled sweetly.

They retreat back to her bedroom, where the spread of snacks is set down on her coffee table and they sit together on the floor.

"Here. You should call your mom," said Ochako, handing her phone to Izuku.

Izuku smiled more, accepting the phone and dialing his mother's number. Ochako watched him dial the number, before she got a brilliant idea. She went over to her desk and found her digital camera she got from her mom at the start of the school year.

"Izu?"

"Yeah?"

"I want to take pictures of you, to document your injuries… in the case you want to have ammunition to use against the people you want to sue for what they put you through."

"Hello?" Inko's voice filtered through the phone.

Izuku brought the phone up.

"Morning, mom. One moment though. Ochako wants to photograph the injuries I was inflicted with."

The call went silent as Ochako took several pictures with her digital camera at various angles. Izuku felt very self-conscious of all the injuries he's suffered from. The cuts, the bruising. The busted lip which had since stopped bleeding. The black shiner over his right eye where he had been punched. And when he took off his shirt, the splotches of bruising on his torso and stomach. Ochako choked back on a sob seeing all this. This was all inflicted upon HER Izuku-kun by overzealous cops. When Ochako finished snapping enough photographic evidence, Izuku started speaking to his mother on the phone. She listened to the conversation. She could hear the pain and sorrow from Izuku's mom when she strained to hear the woman's voice from the phone. And she wouldn't blame her.

Izuku suddenly felt arms wrap gingerly around him, and a weight against his back.

"Ochako?"

"I want to hug you, Izuku," she said calmly, softly. "I want to hold onto you and never let go. I want to take away all the pain you're feeling. I… I want… to… save you from… from everything…"

She sniffled as tears started welling up in her eyes.

"You should have never been hurt like that. They should have never done any of this shit to you."

Her voice was breaking.

"You're so… so sweet… so innocent… I hate what they did to you, Izuku…"

She broke down and started crying. Izuku set the phone down on the coffee table and he turned around to embrace his crying best friend. The phone was still live so on the other end of the call, Inko was tearing up hearing her son's best friend crying for him.

"I'm so lucky to have you, Ochako. You're such an amazing compassionate and caring girl," Izuku tells her. His own tears were forming.

"Why did they hurt you like this? Why?" she cried out, sobbing more.

"Ochako… thank you for caring for me so much…"

Izuku comforted Ochako until her sobbing had decreased.

"I'm sure that I would have committed suicide if you also thought like the rest of the class."

She gasped.

"NO! DON'T YOU EVER DARE ENTERTAIN THE THOUGHT OF SUICIDE! I CAN'T FATHOM LIVING IN A WORLD WITHOUT YOU IN IT! NEVER THINK ABOUT KILLING YOURSELF!" Ochako yelled at him, looking even more upset.

Izuku nodded.

He then closed the gap between their faces and gently kissed her on the lips. Ochako was caught off guard by the sudden act. Her hands then shift and caress the back of his head as she leaned into the kiss. She closed her eyes, savoring what was a spontaneous first kiss. The kiss soon parted, and they gazed into each other's eyes. They brushed away each other's tears.

"Izuku? Sweetie?"

Izuku picks up the phone.

"Sorry, mom. Um, is it okay if I bring Ochako home with me? I want to get away from UA for the rest of the winter break, please."

"Sure thing, sweetie."

"Thanks mom. We'll be home soon. I love you."

"I love you too, Izuku."

After hanging up and setting the flip phone on the table, he turns to face Ochako.

"Ochako… um… about the kiss earlier… sorry if that was sudden but… but I-"

She put a finger to his lips, silencing him.

"I… I really liked it… even if it caught me off guard, I liked it… very much…" She leans close. "So, now it's my turn."

And with those words spoken, Ochako embraced Izuku and she plants a loving kiss upon his lips. Izuku slips his hands around her and tilted his head just a bit so he could deepen the kiss, his tongue running along her lower lip. With a soft moan she opened her mouth and Izuku took this invite to push his tongue forward, meeting with hers as their tongues met and swirled about. Soft little moans left them, as they savored this deep romantic kiss that was starting to heat up.

When air became an issue, they break off the kiss. A bridge of saliva connected their lower lips as they gazed into each other's eyes, eyes that were clouded with desire for one another. The bridge broke when the distance increased.

"Ochako Uraraka… I'm in love with you," Izuku confessed to her. "I've fallen for you ever since we first met. At first, it was a crush, a big one. But, overtime, as we got to know one another, got comfortable with one another, these feelings I have started to grow. I can't deny the fact that your smile is what makes my day feel like it's worth going on in life. Hearing your voice makes my heart flutter with excitement. And I love the color of your eyes, the cute pronounced blush of your cheeks…"

Ochako blushed heavily as Izuku sweetly expressed himself to her.

"I love you too, Izuku Midoriya," she answers back. "Like you, I started crushing bad on you… it honestly started with when you saved me during the entrance exams. Then… it just grew. Everything about you… I grew to admire, to cherish, to love. Your eyes are so mesmerizing. And your freckles are so cute. And the way you hold yourself in tough situations… your heart, your bravery, your willingness and the desire to help everybody in need, even if that person doesn't want it. And you're so sweet with kids, like Eri and Kota… they admire you so much."

She rested her forehead against his, smiling happily.

"Izuku, you are the greatest man I have ever met. Which makes me so sad that you also had suffered from the shit you were being accused of. Which makes me angry they would hurt you in such a way…"

Izuku closed his eyes.

"Before UA, I was bullied a lot. Until you came into my life, I had no friends at all. Even Kacchan… no… even Bakugo, who once was my childhood friend, stopped being my friend. Then after you, I met… everyone else… and… I THOUGHT that they were my friends, until I was accused of being a traitor selling out UA to the League of Villains."

He sighs roughly.

Ochako caressed his cheek gently.

"I'm so very lucky… that I STILL have the greatest woman in the entire world, happily sharing my feelings back to me, reciprocating my love back to me… who doesn't hate me…"

"I will never hate you, Izu. I love you."

"I love you, too, 'Chako."

A peaceful silence embraces the couple.

"So… do you want to leave now?"

"Yeah… I want to get out of here. I don't even care what the school says. I want to go home… and… I want to introduce you to mom…"

She nodded. "I'll get dressed in something warmer. And I'll meet you at your room?"

"Yeah."

They get up and share one more kiss before Izuku left Ochako's room, and quickly hurried to his floor and to his room. He did not want to encounter anyone else right now. When he made it to his room, he locked the door. As he stepped further into his room, he went into his personal bathroom and looked himself in the mirror. He grimaced at how horrible he looked with the black eye he got from one of the cruel officers torturing him for nonexistent information. He lifted up his shirt. The months since entering high school, he has developed a very nice muscular physique, all in order to further condition himself and assume more control over One For All. But now he's got ugly bruises from where he's been struck. He whimpered. It was reminding him of the beatings he used to get from other students back in middle school. And those beatings were also accompanied by harsh cruel words about his former quirkless status.

"I look so ugly," he whispers to himself.

He stripped down completely naked before looking through his wardrobe. He puts on clean underwear, then comfortable warm sweat pants that was a charcoal gray color. Then he slipped on a white t-shirt and overlapped that with the matching charcoal gray sweatshirt. He puts on a pair of winter socks, followed by his winter boots, and took out one of his thicker jackets that was not hero-themed. He frowned when he realized he didn't have his wallet with him; it was still in his book bag, which was taken away from him prior to being brought into THAT torture room. To him, it was a torture room.

He didn't have his money, his student ID or state ID with him.

"Great…"

He also did not have his phone with him; it was also in his missing book bag.

Knock, knock, knock.

"Izu? It's me, sweetie."

He walked over and opened the door after unlocking it.

Ochako was dressed warmly for the winter weather. She looked very cute in the clothes she was wearing. Her outfit consisted of her black leggings and denim skirt, black long sleeve shirt and over top an unbuttoned fuchsia jacket. A purple cabbie hat is on top her head and she's wearing knee-high navy winter boots. She had her book bag with her.

"I stuffed the snacks he stole from the pantry in my book bag, and the camera with the documented pictures of your injuries."

"My book bag is still in the hands of the teachers, and with it my phone, wallet and IDs."

Ochako frowned.

"Well, I'll foot the bill for the train fees."

"You d-don't have to, Ochako…"

"I will and you can't stop me, Izuku. We're getting to your mom's house one way or another."

Izuku sighed wearily.

"I… I looked in the mirror. I'm so ugly now, Ochako… how could you even love an ugly guy like me?"

She embraced him tightly.

"You are not ugly. The scars you have are proof of the hard work you put into your hero training. But the bruising, the shiner you have… they're going to be faded reminders of a torture you were inflicted with by bastards. And I swear I'll heal those bruises and your black eye. They will fade away and heal, and I'll make sure you do recover from this entire ordeal, Izuku."

She gingerly kissed him.

"You are without a doubt the most handsome man in Japan."

She brought his scarred hand up, and she started planting gentle butterfly kisses on each scar.

"And I will love these scars just as equally as I will love you in mind, body, and soul."

Izuku was often a crybaby when he was younger. And the tears were starting up again.

"I'm so lucky to have you, Ochako… so very fucking lucky…"

"Never doubt yourself again. I love you, Izuku Midoriya. Dattebayo."

Izuku raised an eyebrow.

"Dattebayo?"

Ochako giggled.

"I may have come across that word before on the internet."

A soft smile crossed Izuku's lips.

"Let's get out of here, 'Chako."

"Hell yeah."

They leave his bedroom and head for the elevator. Upon entering and hitting the button for the ground floor, Izuku giggled cutely.

"You sound so cute when you swear."

Ochako blushed. "Well, I wanna protect my darling boyfriend. And if it means cussing out idiots who would think the worst of you, so be it. I'll cuss out the entire fucking world if I have to."

Izuku laughed. It was a genuine laugh, one that brought a grin from the brunette.

They sobered quickly when the elevator dinged and the doors opened, inviting them into the common area. They ignored everybody as they march towards the front door.

"Midoriya, Uraraka, where are you two going?" questioned Tenya Iida.

"None of your fucking business, Iida," Ochako cussed out the bespectacled boy.

Tenya and half the class was flabbergasted by the shocking response.

"Midoriya, wait a minute," Shoto called out Izuku.

Izuku turned his head and his dark look halted Shoto in his tracks.

"I regret trying to save you from yourself in the Sports Festival."

Shoto felt like he was just stabbed in the heart.

But then Izuku turned his glare upon Tenya.

"And I regret saving you from Stain."

Tenya clutched his chest, a grimace crossing his face as he collapsed to his knees. Some puzzled looks were displayed at what Izuku said.

Ochako glanced at Izuku questionably, but Izuku grabbed Ochako's hand (which were covered in pink snow mittens). He opens the door and walked out, gently pulling his girlfriend with him. He made sure to slam the door extra hard, to signify his displeasure with the rest of Class 1-A.

Outside, now exposed to the winter air, they walk down the stairs when a voice called to him.

"Deku. Where are you and Round Cheeks going?"

Izuku did not look back.

"We're leaving the campus grounds, getting away from everybody, Bakugo," Ochako would answer tersely.

"Why?"

"Why the fuck would you care, Bakugo?" Izuku growled out. "You stopped caring about me when we were four. You should be happy that I'm leaving. Because I'm never gonna darken your life again. In fact… I'm going to withdraw from UA and go somewhere else. Somewhere far away from people like you, like the teachers here at this school, away from Yagi-san."

He finally turned around to glare at Katsuki.

"Good bye, Bakugo. I never want to see or hear from you, or anyone of those bastards inside the dorm, ever again."

Ochako firmly clutched Izuku's hand, also glaring at Bakugo, before the couple continued walking away from the dorms.

Katsuki glared back at them, though an unsettling pit of guilt was beginning to form in his stomach. He growled. He hated this shit. Ever since the shouting match he had with the old hag over the phone this morning, he should be glad Deku's going to leave the school.

So… why didn't he like it?

Upon walking across campus for the front gates, having put distance from Heights Alliance behind them, they hear a shout.

"Crap!"

The couple winced when they see none other than Mei Hatsume crashing into a mountain of plowed snow. She was riding what looked like a home-made hover board.

"Hatsume, are you okay?"

Izuku, always the helpful and caring guy, hurried over to Mei. Mei, dressed warmly for the weather, winced, as she got up quickly and brushed away the snow.

"Sheesh, I need to fine-tune the air brakes more."

"Is that a hover board?"

Mei grins at Ochako's question. "Yup! This baby of mine is one of my side projects when I'm not busy working on hero costume upgrades or gadgets, like your gloves you asked me to make for you before the Student Festival, Midoriya."

"Huh. That's really cool, Hatsume," said Izuku with some excitement in his voice.

Mei grins happily.

"Yeah! You see, I hope to make one that is truly functional so that we can finally have a true to life hover board, and one that is a hell of a lot better than the one seen in that very old pre-quirk era American movie Back to the Future. I mean we finally got jet packs, though it's a shame that Tim Wilson guy didn't live this long to finally fly one, but after all this time we don't have one single hover board. Because the ones that have wheels and a motorized compact engine inside it doesn't count as a hover board."

"Who's Tim Wilson?"

"Some American comedian guy from the pre-quirk era," Mei answers. "Saw a very old video of him singing a song called Where The Fuck Is My Jet Pack? on YouTube."

Izuku was interested in seeing this video. Ochako hums softly.

"Huh. Well, we finally got jet packs, and the one you created for the Sports Festival was amazing, Hatsume. But I've never yet seen an actual hover board. Just those HoverTrax things."

"Exactly," Mei exclaims. She then picks up her prototype hover board. "So, where you two off to? And not to be rude, but how'd you get that shiner, Midoriya?"

"Well… we're going to see my mom and spend the rest of winter break with her. Also going to introduce Ochako to mom as my girlfriend."

Mei grins.

"You two are together? Cool! Congrats."

"Thanks, Hatsume," said Ochako, beaming happily.

"And… well… two days ago I was accused of selling out UA to the League of Villains, believed to be a traitor… but I was completely innocent of everything."

Mei stared, her usual cheerful energized smile now gone.

"What?"

"Detective Tsukauchi and his quirk, Lie Detector, easily proved Izuku's innocence… but for two days… two other police officers pretty much… they…"

"They physically tortured me. I got bruising all over my body, and one of them, I forgot who did it, punched me right in the eye and gave me this shiner…"

"The teachers firmly believed Izuku would… commit heinous crimes… and let it all happen to him. That's why we wanna get out of UA. In fact… we're planning to withdraw from UA and go somewhere else."

Mei was horrified. She suddenly hugs Izuku.

"I'm sorry that happened to you, Midoriya…"

"It's okay, Hatsume. It's not your fault…"

Mei was now worried.

"I… I don't want you to leave. You're like my favorite hero student to work with when it comes to your amazing requests," she admitted.

"Hatsume… I'm brutally honest when I say that I enjoy you being the sole person who worked on my costume upgrades and my gadgets. I can really appreciate what kind of brilliance you have in that head of yours. And I have no doubt that you'll make it big in the support business after high school. In fact, I'll support you all the way."

Hatsume wiped away a tear as she lets go of Izuku.

"Thank you, Midoriya."

"… Listen… call me Izuku. It's only fair…"

"Then you need to start calling me by my first name, kay, Zuzu?"

Ochako giggled. "Zuzu? Cute nickname, Izuku."

Izuku blushed.

Ochako smiles at her boyfriend before looking back to Mei.

"Mei, I want you to also stop being formal with me. I know how much Izuku values your friendship, eccentrics aside. Any true friend of my boyfriend is mine, okay?"

Mei gave a thumbs up. "Okay, Ochako."

"Even when Ochako and I eventually leave UA for another school, the only person I want to make my hero stuff is you, okay, Mei?"

She nodded. "Okay. I don't know how, but I'll figure out a way to continue making up whatever upgrades you need. Same with you, Ochako."

Mei grabs her project and bid them good bye and hurried back to the workshop. She actually wanted to confront Power Loaded about the situation regarding Izuku. Izuku and Ochako eventually made it to the front gates and left campus, heading down the hillside towards the city.

=0=0=0=0=

Knock, knock, knock, knock.

It had taken time, and there have been some adults that took one look at Izuku and showed concern for his having that black eye (in which he merely stated that he was fine, though that was a bit of a lie; he still felt self-conscious about his looks now), but they have arrived to his home that he basically grew up in.

"If I still had my house keys…"

"We'll find a way to get your things back from the school, honey," Ochako whispers to him.

The door unlocks and opens. Inko's eyes welled up with tears seeing the black eye her son sported.

"Come on in, honey."

"Mom… meet my most cherished person in my life, Ochako Uraraka."

Inko smiled happily to the brunette.

"Thank you. Thank you so much for staying with him, for believing in my son's innocence."

The teens enter the warmth of the apartment and shut the door behind them.

"M-Mom?"

"Honey… I spoke with the detective that basically saved you from those… those bastards that would hurt you in this way," she stated calmly. "I plan to sue your school. What they did was absolutely wrong and illegal because you are still, in the eyes of the law, a minor. You did not have an attorney or a lawyer present, nor was I there as your biological parent. They abused you, son. They hurt you."

She caressed her son's face delicately, tears dropping as she looks at the black eye bruise.

"Mom… I want to withdraw from UA and go somewhere else."

Ochako moved close and slips an arm around Izuku's, and clung to him.

"And he's not going alone. I swore to him that I'll never abandon him. He's my cherished boyfriend. Wherever he goes, I'm following him."

Inko drew both teens into her hug.

"I swear it, I'll do everything I can to get you the justice you deserve, Izuku. And Ochako, thank you very much for being there in his life. I can never repay you enough for the pure kindness and love you have for my cherished boy."

After this loving moment was shared, Izuku led Ochako into the living room, and Inko went into the kitchen to prepare a meal. Ochako decided to give her parents a call when Izuku encouraged her to invite them over to his home.

"You sure?"

"They need to know. And… I want to meet the parents who raised my girlfriend to be the best in the world."

She finished dialing the number.

"You know they'll be concerned once they see your injuries…"

"I know. But you told me that you'll help me heal… so… I feel safer to be around those I can truly trust… I want your parents to be there when we eventually leave UA for another school."

Ochako leaned in and gave her boyfriend a loving kiss.

"You are so pure hearted, Izuku. I think this world doesn't really deserve to have the kindness you have, not if it would do this to you… bully you, injure you, accuse you of false crimes… you're better than them. They don't really deserve you…"

"But then I can't be a hero if I don't save those who are victims."

She smiled.

"And that's one of the many things that I cherish and love about you, Izuku. Even with the bad and the ugly, you'll go on and do whatever good you can bring to others…"

"I have you with me now. I have your love. And with you by my side… I feel like I can do anything, no matter what people try to do to me… no matter who betrays my friendship and my trust… with you in my heart, I'm already happy."

"I will heal you. And I will love you. And I will never leave you. And many years from now, I'll also love the child I pray we'll one day bring into the world." She blushed at the end of her sentence. Izuku blushed as well when Ochako even mentioned the idea of them raising a family in the future.

"I'll happily enjoy you being the mother of my child, Ochako."

"I love you, Izuku Midoriya…"

"I love you, too, Ochako Uraraka…"

They gazed into each other's eyes. The love shined brightly in each other's beautiful orbs.

"Ochako? Honey?" the mother of Ochako filtered from the live-connected phone.

The couple blushed. They forgot about the phone call.

"Uh… n-m-mom… how long… how much did you hear?"

"When you told your friend he was pure hearted, sweetie," the mother answers, giggling softly at her daughter's clear affections for a boy she's never met before.

"Mom, I want you and dad to meet my boyfriend Izuku at his house. And… there's some things happening right now. Serious things that may involve a lawyer and suing the school we're both attending right now. Please? Izuku and I can explain further in detail when you get here…"

"Okay, honey. I'll get your father and we'll get dressed and head over to your friend's house. You ARE there right now, then?"

"Yes, mom. One of the reasons is we just didn't feel safe anymore at UA, both of us. So we left the school's campus without permission. Frankly, all I want to do is keep Izuku safe until he's able to fight for himself again. He's really hurt emotionally, and I just want to take away all of his pain. I want to help him heal, and-"

"Honey, calm down. Everything will be alright. I can tell you truly love this boy. Just give me the address and we'll be there as soon as possible, okay, dearie?"

"Okay, mommy. Thank you for understanding."

"Ochako, sweetie… you're almost an adult. And I trust your judgment and decision-making skills. Just listen to your heart and let it guide you."

"Yes, mommy."

Izuku wrote the address down on a scrap of paper he got from somewhere, handed it to Ochako, and she forwarded the address over the phone to her mom. A minute later, she hangs up.

"Well… they'll be here soon."

Izuku smiled a bit. "Okay, Ochako."

Inko entered the living room with some prepared green tea. Ochako had since emptied her book bag of the pilfered holiday cookies from the dorms, and were in the middle of enjoying with Izuku.

"Mom, Ochako invited her parents over. Would be okay if they have Christmas with us?"

"Of course, dear. I'd be happy to meet her parents…" As she turned around and left the room, the teens heard the woman whisper, "my future in-laws."

The couple blushed, but they smiled to each other and chuckle softly in amusement.

The house phone rings.

"I'll answer it, mom," Izuku called out, hurrying into the hallway and towards the house phone sitting on its small end table. He picks it up and answered the call. "Good morning. Midoriya Residence."

"Young Midoriya…"

Izuku froze. It was All Might.

"Midoriya… I-"

Click.

Izuku ended the phone call and sets it back down on the receiver.

With Toshinori at UA, the man hears the dial tone of the call being disconnected. He hangs up the landline phone. A cloud of misery forms.

Back at the Midoriya home, Izuku entered the living room, and Ochako immediately knew something was wrong.

"Honey?"

"He called… All Might…"

She stayed quiet.

"I didn't want to talk to him so I hung up on him."

When Izuku sat back down on the sofa, he clung to her tightly. Ochako hugs him back. She knew All Might meant the world to him. And when Izuku during the quiet train ride home from UA informed her that he was also one of the teachers that believed he was the traitor shattered his trust he had with his now former mentor. It also shattered her trust in the retired pro hero.

"Forget him."

Izuku nodded meekly.

Ochako sighed, continuing to comfort her boyfriend.

"Once we get away from UA, things will get better. I promise, Izu."

"I know, Ocha. With you at my side, I'll feel safe."

"Don't forget your mom, honey. And I know my parents will support you, too."

He smiles softly, and nuzzled into her stomach. She blushed at this, but affectionately ran her fingers through his surprisingly soft and fluffy green hair.

"I love you."

Ochako nods softly.

"I love you, too."

Half an hour would pass when Mr. And Mrs. Uraraka arrived, and both families got to meet each other. Nanako, Ochako's mom, was worried about what was going on when the details were fully explained, and Nanako and her husband Hiroshichi were horrified at the inflicted injuries Izuku received from his abusers/interrogators examining the picture Ochako had the brilliance to document. It would be very useful evidence for the lawyers Inko was looking for, with help from her friend Mitsuki, and now offered help from Ochako's parents.

First off, they went to the local hospital in order to get Izuku some much-needed treatment. Thankfully there was a doctor on the clock who had a rare healing quirk and managed to lessen the bruising and the black eye Izuku had, but could only heal to an extent without fully draining his own stamina reserves. The rest of the healing would be natural and the passing of time. Afterward returning back to the apartment, the adults shared stories with one another about their kids' childhoods, much to Izuku and Ochako's embarrassment. Of course, it was more embarrassing for Izuku when Inko had the baby pictures to share. Inko had prepared a wonderful Christmas meal and everybody enjoyed it.

"Hey, Ochako?"

"Hm? Yes, Izu?"

"Can I… talk to you privately in my room, please?"

She nodded and followed Izuku out of the living room, the adults engrossed in conversation. Upon entering his room, Izuku closed it and locked it.

"Ochako… I have something to tell you… but… you must promise me that no one else will know about this. Okay? It… has to do with my quirk."

Ochako saw how serious her boyfriend looked.

"Okay. I promise you, Izu."

Izuku was thankful.

"Ochako… my quirk that I have isn't mine. It was handed down to me."

Ochako stares. "What do you mean?"

The two sat down on the bed together, and Izuku fully divulged everything relating to the quirk One For All, its history, everything. Ochako sat there and listened, absorbing the information flowing from Izuku's lips. She was astonished.

Izuku explained how it all started. How it was another school day, but it was a particularly bad one for him due to the mostly verbal bullying from old middle school classmates. He told her about how Katsuki actually suicide baited him (which horrified the girl), the sludge villain that tried to hijack his body until All Might showed up in the nick of time saving him, his clinging to the pro hero, and discovering the real All Might underneath the muscle form ("So, you knew the real All Might before the Camino Ward incident, Izu?" "Yeah, pretty much, and he made me swear to secrecy…") to how initially All Might believed he couldn't be a hero without a quirk ("I asked if I can still be a hero like him even if quirkless. He told me no…"). But after sometime he left the rooftop he was abandoned on, found Katsuki being held hostage by the same sludge villain who somehow escaped.

"My legs… they just moved on their own. Even though he tormented me, I just couldn't stand there and do nothing."

"Then what?"

"My selflessness inspired All Might to go beyond his time limit and he saved the day. But I got scolded to high heaven by the Pros. On my way home, Bakugo caught up, yelled at me about how he didn't need any saving then stormed off. Then All Might showed up and said that I DID have what it takes to be a hero. He then told me about One For All, and offered it to me as the ninth inheritor."

Izuku sighs.

"For the next ten months, I went to this beach side location that once was a disgusting trash-infested junkyard, and I worked cleaning it all up, strengthening myself in the process. Back then, Ochako, the body I got today was due to months of hard work initially, then the months in school added on top. Back in middle school I had very little muscle detail. I was a twig. Just a skinny kid."

He flexed his left arm a bit, which prompted Ochako to giggle in a cute manner. Her giggling got a smile from Izuku.

"And after ten months, I went from a skinny twig of a fifteen year old boy to a light muscular hero-in-training. That morning All Might transferred the quirk down to me, and I finally manifested One For All… when I leapt up into the sky, and I punched the Zero Point enemy right in its mechanical face to save a girl who cried out for help," Izuku finally finished his long-winded explanation.

"So… until age fifteen, until the day of the UA Entrance Exams… you were quirkless?"

Izuku nodded. "Yes, Ochako, I was. Which meant for eleven years I was bullied for being quirkless by my cruel peers… basically used as everybody's punching bag."

Ochako hugged Izuku.

"Izuku… it's not All Might's quirk anymore. It's your quirk. It's yours to do whatever you desire, okay? No one else but you can tell you what to do with One For All."

"Thank you… thank you so much for understanding…"

"You never deserved those eleven years of hardship and pain. I swear to you, I WILL heal your wounds. All of them."

"You already are, Ochako. I have you in my life exclusively… as my cherished lover."

She smiles happily, blushing at his words.

"So… Izuku…"

"Hm?"

She blushed vividly, as she shyly gazed at the floor.

"Uh… do you… uh… after your mom goes to sleep tonight… well… do you want to sleep together?"

Izuku blinked. It took him a minute before his face turned just as red as his girlfriend's face.

"W-w-wait… y-you mean…"

She nodded shyly, gazing up to him.

The two tomato-faced lovers lightly grazed fingers, before Izuku firmly grips her hand with his. He leaned close and locked lips with hers.

"Well… if… w-we do… sleep together… we'll need to go to a pharmacy that's open 24/7," he said with a cute stutter. "J-Just in case we… we do something that our parents would yell at us about. That's all."

"Y-yeah… of course. Always play it safe. Yup."

The couple were still blushing when they returned to the living room and stated that they were heading out for a bit and would return shortly, though Izuku did ask for some money citing his wallet was still missing and in the hands of UA's faculty. The adults questioned why their kids' faces were red, but thought nothing of it, even as Inko handed her debit card to her son and told him not to spend too much.

As they planned they were gone from campus the rest of winter break, and when school restarted again, they were absent. They refused to return to UA. Inko had found a law firm willingly to go into battle in the courthouse against UA, armed with Izuku's statement and with photographed evidence, both from Ochako's camera, and from Tsukauchi who collaborated with his own testimony. The man even got the two rookie officers fired for what they did and charges had been filed against the officers and UA in its entirety. As for Izuku and Ochako, the couple had fully withdrawn from UA and made a successful transfer to Isamu Academy's Hero Course.

Since they were now attending Isamu Academy, Izuku's mother and Ochako's parents had granted access to UA's campus grounds only to move out all of their children's personal belongings from the UA Dorms. Izuku however sold all of his All Might merchandise for the money. Inko had invited Ochako to live with her and Izuku at the new apartment which had put the couple within ten minutes walking distance from their new high school. Hiroshichi and Nanako happily agreed to Inko hosting their daughter for the rest of their high school years. They also stopped talking to their ex friends from UA, deleting and blocking their contact numbers, but kept in contact with Mei Hatsume, Mirio Togata, Tamaki Amajiki, Nejire Hado, and Hitoshi Shinso. Mirio, Tamaki, and Nejire were horrified that this had happened to Izuku and they fully supported the boy (plus they cheered when they learned Izuku and Ochako were boyfriend and girlfriend). Hitoshi once respected Shouta Aizawa, but after learning of what befell Izuku, he lost all respect for the man and in his second year he got transferred to the hero course, requested to be in Class 2-B. Neito Monoma was shuffled into Class 2-A as a result. As for Mei, her confrontation with her teacher soured the teacher/student relationship. She always kept in constant contact with Izuku and Ochako, and barely tolerated Power Loader going into her second year at UA because the man was like the other teachers – believing Izuku could be evil.

Then we have sweet cute innocent Eri who as terribly upset when she learned about what had happened to her Izuku-kun. She missed Izuku and Ochako when they left UA, and was able to guilt the adults into visitations with the teenage couple. After a month, she started living with the Midoriya family more than with Aizawa and the other UA teachers on UA grounds. Of course, hard to say no to such a cute girl when one day she started calling Izuku papa and Ochako mama.

It took six months. But Izuku fully healed from his trauma he endured. After all, Ochako was at his side throughout the legal battle against UA, and were successful in their lawsuit. The news networks blasted the hell out of UA because of the events that left Izuku briefly traumatized for six whole months. Nezu was forced to retire as the school's principal, and starting into a new school year, the UA teachers with a new principal hired to replace Nezu no longer had 'free-reign' to teach however they pleased. The monetary compensation the Midoriya Family received from the trauma Izuku endured meant Inko could retire from work and live well for the rest of her life.

Ochako loved Izuku very much. Izuku loved Ochako very much. Although it was awkward the first few weeks for Ochako being called mama by Eri, and Izuku called papa. The couple grew to enjoying playing the role of Eri's mom and dad. It was a start to caring for a child until one day in the future after marriage they have a biological child of their own.

But that won't be for several years. Currently, at Isamu Academy, now second year high schoolers, Izuku and Ochako were together under a large camphor tree during their lunch period, sharing a meal together with brand new friends they've made at the school.

"I love you, Izuku."

Izuku smiled to his girlfriend.

"I love you, too, Ochako."

They shared a loving kiss, ignoring the quiet snickering and the flashing of happy grins from their new group of friends/classmates witnessing this PDA moment.

Eh… well, there's my take on a Suspected Traitor Midoriya Izuku story, but primarily loaded with IzuOcha flavor.

*SIGH*

Was it any good? I've read a few Suspect Traitor Izu fics, but half of them appear to be unfinished, and some just leave Izuku as a super traumatized kid with no friends or one friend left. I did this for the IzuOcha-ness.
