Prince: Wind And Darkness

Chapter 0: Trailer

Disclaimer I don't own Naruto

A boy of 10 years stared at the large steel door with total and complete concentration.

The door before the boy was lightly ornate, with the crimson spiral on the centre of the door beings its most eye catching design.

There was a space of five meters between the boy and the door. In between the door and the boy is a shimmering, almost transparent, chain. The chain had a bladed tipped that was currently embedded on the door.

It also appeared that the chain was directly and bodily attached to the boy.

The said boy had sun-blonde hair and sapphire blue eyes. His most eye catching feature on his person were the whisker marks on his cheeks.

Said boy was staring at the door, as if he was willing the door to open.

In reality, that was indeed the case.

Flashing before the boy's eyes were countless arrays of seals and symbols. Those seals and symbols, in the eyes of the ordinary, would not convey anything but gibberish at best.

In the eyes of the boy, he was seeing a work of art, reading a compelling story,

In the perspective of the boy, he was solving a puzzle.

An enjoyable puzzle at that.

The boy did not know how long he had stared before the door nor did he care how long he had sat across the door. His attention was completely and utterly focused on the arrays of seals and symbols flashing before his eyes.

This was entertaining for him.

For the boy, this was a form of entertainment better than any alternatives.

After hours of those seals and symbols dancing before his eyes, the door collapsed to the ground. This caused a smile of satisfaction to grace the boy's lips. The chain that had once been attached to the door retracted back to the arm of the boy.

The boy jumped to his feet. He stretched for a few second in order to loosen his body as well as to reduce the numbness of his body. With a deep breath, he entered the room that the door had been obscuring.

The moment he entered, light immediately flooded the room, illuminating everything that was within.

The boy was momentarily blinded but his sight quickly adapted and he was rewarded with a wonderful yet familiar sight.

The room was empty, devoid of anything but a single podium in the centre of the room.

The boy giddily approached the podium, eyes filled with mirth and excitement. Reaching the podium, the boy took out a cloth from his pockets before delicately wiping the dust that had accumulated on the surface of the podium. The boy took an hour cleaning the podium, not because it was that dirty, but because he wanted to admired something that his ancestor created once upon a time.

With the podium clean and spotless, the boy took a few steps away from the podium before raising his right hand towards the podium. With a flick of a finger, a chain with a bladed tip emerged from his wrist and flew towards the podium, embedding itself upon the podium.

The moment the blade tip stabbed through the podium, texts upon texts flash before the eyes of the boy.

This caused the boy to smile.

With a snap of his free hand, a duplicate of the boy manifest besides him. Said duplicate raised his own right hand, and another chain emerged and stabbed itself upon the podium from said right hand.

The boy, the original, pulled his own chain from the podium, allowing said chain to retract into his body.

"Extract only what we should learn, what we could learn, what we could study or play with. Nothing more." The boy commanded his duplicate.

"Of course boss." The duplicate answered with a nod.

Tapping his duplicate's shoulder, the boy exited the room and took a moment to look at the place that he was in.

The fabled and legendary library of the Village Hidden by Whirling Tides. This library contains the most comprehensive collection of Sealing Arts and Knowledge. The collection of Ninja Arts was also very comprehensive.

All the knowledge that this library could offer was within his fingertips. He just needed to open 5000 rooms, not to mention traverse 100 floors to get those knowledge.

To date, he had only opened 35 rooms and explored merely three floors of the library. There were many more rooms to open and many more floors to explore.

It would take him years, but it would be years well spent.

It was just unfortunate that he was the only Uzumaki that has accessed to this wonderland.

"Maybe one day, sister." The boy whispered wistfully.

Shaking his head and getting to the task at hand, the boy went to another unopened door.

If he was lucky, he might unlock another room before the time comes for him to leave again.

There was a door that he was eyeing that might provide him with good Wind Release Techniques.

He might not be much for Ninjutsus, preferring the sealing arts and Genjutsu in combat, but he was a budding Wind Release user, and mastery over the rarest element would provide him with a boon that would benefit him in the future.

After all, the Wind element is the most interesting element of them all.

(Scene Change)

'Uzushiogakure must have been beautiful.' The boy thought forlornly once again as he stepped out of the Uzushiogakure Library. Like every time he had stepped out of the ancient library, the facility descended to the ground without a single preamble.

The impressive tower that was Uzushiogakure Library had returned to the ground, once again waiting for an Uzumaki to find it and exploit the knowledge stored within it.

He would do so this evening, but he has another appointment.

The boy took a moment to scan the area.

Ignoring the few dozen clones of his scattered and training in the area, the boy drank the ruins that had once been Uzushiogakure. The once proud and powerful village, reduce to rubble.

This would have disgusted the boy if it were not for the fact that it had taken three of the five major villages to obliterate his ancestral home. Not to mention the fact that the attacking force of 6,000 Ninjas from Iwa, Kumo, and Kiri was reduce to a mere 400 after Uzushiogakure was sacked filled him with pride and sadistic joy.

He could remember the first time he stepped foot on Uzushiogakure. He remembered the bodies that littered his ancestral home. He remembered that he had cleared more corpses that wore foreign symbols than corpses that wore the symbol of his ancestral home.

Uzushiogakure might have fallen, but they had fallen taking as much of their conquerors with them.

Not to mention, the destroyers of Uzushiogakure got nothing from their campaign. Uzushiogakure Library could only be access by an Uzumaki that can use the Adamantine Chains.

All the deaths and destructions to conquer Uzushiogakure was rendered moot due to the Uzumaki Clan being butcher and scattered to the winds.

"Dark thoughts. I approve." A deep, feminine voice echoed into his thoughts.

"I preferred pragmatic, but thank you, Kurama-san." The boy said before dispelling the few dozen clones in the area.

A headache assaulted him for a few seconds as several memories flooded his mind. It took him a minute to recover his composure, but when he did, he began walking towards a ruined building that looked to be barely structurally stable.

Entering the building, he stood in the centre of a sealing glyph. With clear disgust on his face, he made several hand seals.

After the 34 hand seals were completed, the boy slammed his hands to the ground.

The Sealing Glyph glowed blue before everything standing within the circle disappeared in a flash of light.

Several thousand miles away, a Sealing Glyph located in one of the many hidden forests of Konoha glowed bright blue before the same boy appeared in the centre of the Sealing Glyph.

The moment he arrived, the boy went to the nearest tree before vomiting his lunch to the roots of the tree.

"I need to fucking refine that teleportation technique." The boy grumbled before wiping the remaining vomit from his lips.

"That was enjoyable."

"Not asking you." The boy grumbled before chuckling.

The beast in his belly enjoyed hearing her own voice, and he would not denied the fact that he personally enjoyed hearing her voice.

The boy could imagine the beast having a smug look on her face right now.

The bitch.

But she was his bitch.

In a non-sexual way.

He had yet to device a method to literally fuck a Tailed Beast.

Which is unfortunate. Kurama's human form is 1000 over 10.

Again, the boy could feel the smug looked on the fox's face.

Smug bitch.

After a moment to regain his composure, the boy walked back to the Sealing Glyph. Again, with utter look of disgust on his face, he made a total of 10 hand seals before slamming his hand to the ground.

As a corridor rise from the earth, the boy once again swore to himself that he would refine his Sealing Techniques to such degree that he would no longer need hand seals to use them.

Hand seals are the bane of every Ninja's existence.

Hand Seals, each and every one of them, should go fuck themselves and die in a ditch somewhere.

When the corridor had fully risen, the boy entered the corridor and walked inside a fully furnished apartment, complete with a bedroom, kitchen, bathroom, and living room.

As he entered the makeshift apartment, the corridor behind him once again crumbled back to the ground.

The looked at the clock above him. It read 8:30AM. He had 30 minutes to prepare for the day.

With a sigh, he stripped down his clothing. He was currently wearing his 'I-am-going-to-visit-my-ancestral-home-and-going-to-kill-anyone-in-my-way-if-necessary' garb. This garb was not appropriate for a Ninja Academy. Considering the number of seals that he had etched into the garb, unless he was going to get attacked in the academy, wearing said garb would be overkill for academy brats.

Mindlessly, he reached for his 'I-am-wearing-this-to-conform-to-stupid-academic-standard-you-fucking-pieces-of-shit' garb before donning it. The garb that he wore composed of a black shirt over a black overcoat. Orange cargo pants that has several deep pockets. A green kunai pouch was tied on his right thigh was a black shuriken pouch was strapped on his back.

Personally, he would rather have Containment Seals painted on his wrist for kunai and shuriken, but that was too advance for an Academy Brat to know. That sucks considering that he was confident that he was more knowledgeable about the sealing arts compare to over 90% of the Ninjas in Konoha.

He is an Uzumaki, he bleeds and sweats Fuuinjutsu.

He looked at himself in front of the mirror.

He looks presentable. Handsome even.

Fitting for the twin brother of the second prettiest girl in the Academy.

With a sighed, he unsealed a ring from one of his Containment Seals in his chest.

He might not advertise this fact, but there was 50 seals etched on his body. A fifth of them were containment seals. The rest…..Well, a Ninja never reveals all of his tricks unless there necessary.

He gazed at the ring that took him six months to make. The ring contained Fuuinjutsu that provides a single transformation that not even the Byakugan or the Sharingan could see through. This was his first creation after submerging himself in the study of the Sealing Arts.

If he was being honest, he could make a better transformation ring as he is right now. His knowledge in the Sealing Arts right now is head and shoulders above the knowledge that he had when he was seven years old, but nostalgia is a hell of a drug.

With a smile, he slipped his ring into his left ring finger.

Immediately, his facial features change.

His spiky blonde hair turned into curly black hair.

His cerulean blue eyes turned into brown, dull eyes.

His whisker marks vanish in its entirety.

Even his facial structure was rearrange.

The moment he slipped the ring into his finger, the image of Uzumaki Naruto, the son of the Fourth Hokage and the Princess of the Whirlpool as well as the Jinchuuriki of the Kyuubi no Kitsune vanish.

In his place was Shiba Mikihiko, an average looking orphan who dreams to be a Ninja of Konoha.

The Transformation Technique is godsend.

Intently looking at his reflection, Naruto smiled. "Time for another mundane day, Dattebayo!"

28 year old man-child attempting to remove one thing from his bucket list.
