Yevanka knew it was late, but she needed to finish the character design for the new character before Disneyland closed. She couldn't let a half-finished character be wandering about the park, could she? It was common knowledge among all Disney employees that every character came to life once the park closed, and this new princess had to be finished before then.

The sound of a pencil scratching paper was heard throughout most of the Animation Building in Burbank, California. She was almost finished with the new character, and she would just have to get it checked out by her boss once she was done. If he didn't like the rough sketch design, she'd have to scrap her idea and do it all over again tomorrow. This was finally Yevanka's chance to become a Disney legend! She had been placed in charge of animation for the new princess in an upcoming film!

~Meanwhile in Disneyland~

"Look!" exclaimed Peter Pan, flying as high as he could within the magical dome that protected Disneyland. He realized no one else was around to hear him because the park was still open, but he could see the familiar glow of a new character's animation in Tomorrowland. He tried to get a better look but didn't want to risk being spotted. He'd have to wait until the park closed in about an hour.

Peter had been in this park for a long time. He'd seen many new characters form and he knew the rules, though he didn't mind breaking them every once in a while. He'd seen the downfall after Hollingsworth had done so much damage. He'd seen the Children of Light restore balance, too. But once the park closed, he was surprised by something. There, in Tomorrowland, was the new character.

"Hello! How'd you do?" Peter asked

The girl looked around where she was, confused. She had pale skin and large, dark eyes. She wore a tight-fitting blue halter-top that was almost metallic which ended around her mid-riff. The top appeared to be a sort of armor for her. She wore armored silver leggings as well and silver holographic combat boots. Over the whole ensemble, she wore a silver robe that appeared to be made of plastic, which stretched almost to the ground. Her hair was black but blended down to a neon blue through many layers of navies and phthalos. She also held a silver, vine-like staff with a blue crystal on top.

"...Hello. Yes, I'm sorry. Could you perhaps tell me where I am?"

"I know how you feel. You'll get used to it. This is Disneyland!"

"Disneyland? What a strange name. Well, my name is Marin. Princess Marin-Rose of Nupheria. Who might you be?"

Peter laughed at the oddity of the girl's name and appearance. "I'm Peter Pan! A pleasure to meet you, miss."

"For me as well! Now… what is this place? This is nowhere on Nupheria, that's for certain."

"Well, Disneyland is this magical place. They call it the Happiest Place on Earth. People come from all around to see it! There are attractions and shows and food, and lands depicting the past, present, future, and all sorts of things!"

"Could you show me?"

"You bet I can!" Peter lifted off the ground to fly when Marin tapped her staff twice on the ground. She began to levitate as she took steps forward through the sky. Peter hadn't encountered many other flying humans in his days at Disneyland, and it was always such a joy when they could!

He showed her around Tomorrowland first, followed by Fantasyland, Galaxy's Edge, Critter Country, New Orleans Square, Frontierland, and ending with Main Street. They encountered some characters, but it was obvious not many were here. New characters were still nerve-wracking, even though the Overtakers had been vanquished. No chances were taken.

Marin was so curious. Everything was so different in Disneyland, especially compared to Nupheria. It certainly was magical, and every once in a while, her figure would change, which was the strangest thing. One moment she was wearing blue and silver, the next it was purple and red, although it always changed back.

~Burbank~

"This is it! I got it!"

Yevanka had seen it! She had never believed the animators' tales of the characters coming to life on the page once you have them, but she'd seen it. Marin had tapped her staff twice and started running through the sky! It was so exciting!

She went to show Ms. Lee and finally got approval! This was truly Princess Marin-Rose of Nupheria. She scanned the picture and put it into her filing cabinet. She looked at the clock and realized Disneyland had closed hours ago. Hopefully, nothing too bad had changed while she was there. She wanted so badly to see her. The real her, in the park. Maybe-no. That was risky. She considered sending herself instead, but even that was too dangerous. There was too much up in the air!

"Give it a week," she whispered to herself. "Give it a week."

*just know that I'm really bad at finishing stories, so I probably won't finish this… at least without motivation* *also, my updates are totally whack, so give me some grace XD*
