Hi guys. I hope you enjoyed the first chapter. I can't believe how many views I've had already. Anyway, so Don and Cassandra are meant be getting married, however, Cassandra has decided she can't go through with the wedding. Little does she know, Don is only marrying her as part of a plan with Dina Caliente to steal the Goth Family fortune.

It was the morning of the wedding. "She's not picking up" Don said to Dina.

"Well go to the house then and convince her to go ahead with the wedding.

"I can't just go down there, I'm not meant to see the bride on the morning of the wedding."

"There won't be a wedding if you don't go and speak to her" shouted Dina. "Nina will be up soon, you can't be in the house dressed like that when she comes down."

"Okay alright, I'm going" Don said as he slammed the door behind him.

"Hi, oh I'm so hungover, my head is hurting so much" Nina moaned as she came down the stairs.

"Well, it's your own fault," Dina replied. Dina wasn't that much of a party girl surprisingly. She was always the more sensible and smarter twin.

"Where's Don anyway? I heard you guys shouting, you woke me up and I had to put a pillow over my head."

"Oh Don has gone out. Yeah he wanted to borrow some money to help with his rent. I told him no because me and you are both behind on the rent ourselves and you haven't got any money since you lost your job."

"You have to bring that up don't you? God Dina you're always acting like you're better than me. You're not exactly rolling in simoleons yourself are you?" Nina had recently lost her job after turning up to work hungover on more than one occasion. She hated it when Dina would bring it up, she had been trying to find a new job. "What if we move then? The landlords hate us anyway they'd be glad to see us go. Me and Don could find our own little place and you find yourself an apartment maybe? Surely you don't want to be third wheeling Don and I for the rest of your life. And you've always wanted a dog but you couldn't because the landlords doesn't allow pets and well I'm scared of dogs."

"Seriously that's you answer?" Dina replied. "Moving out is a great idea but you moving in with Don and me on my own? It's always been the both of us together? Ever since our parents died, it's always been the two of us?" Dina, although she rarely showed it, was always quite sensitive. Nina and Dina we're still teenagers when their father died. Shortly after their 21st birthday, their mom died. The girls moved from their hometown of Oasis Springs to both live their dreams. Nina always wanted to be model and Dina, a fashion designer. Things where going great, both girls went to Sim State University. They then moved the Pleasantview in a rented house a new build by Landgraab industries with Don living next door. It's always been the two of them against the world.

"Yeah I get that but Dina we're nearly 25. I'm ready to settle down with Don and you know how much I've wanted to be a mom. Maybe we could still live near each other. Just not in the same house." Nina has always wanted a family. Her parents where childhood sweethearts. Nina has always dreamed of that life. She loved Don and was certain that she and Don where going to have lots of babies and grow old together but she jsut didn't know how to break it Dina that she had already started looking for little family homes, she really liked the little town of Riverblossom Hills and had already started looking for jobs.

"Ready to settle down? You sure Don is the right guy for you? You sure you can trust him?" Dina envied that Nina was dating Don.

"Of course I can, Kaylynn made that rumour up. Nothing happened between her and Don and yeah of course he's the right one. We've been best friends since middle school. Listen, I haven't told Don my plans for us to get our own place yet so I won't not until you're ready to move as well. I'm going to continue looking for a job."

"Okay, I guess I'm just worried about the rent and what we're going to do. Anyway I'm going to be late for work, can't have both of losing our jobs can we?" Dina left the house to go to work.

"Cassandra please pick up, I'm on my way to your house now. This is our wedding day and I want it to go ahead, just answer me, we need to talk about this." Don was currently at the gas station filling his car up desperately trying to call Cassandra. He'd called her five times now and still she hadn't picked up.

"DON!" Shouted a very angry voice, "Yeah you! Don Lothario, why haven't you been t was picking up?" It was Kaylynn Langerak. Don had been having an affair with Kaylynn up until 3 months ago when Nina had found out, he had managed to convince Nina that nothing happened and blackmailed Kaylynn into telling Nina that she made up the affair, you see Don knew that Kaylynn was also seeing local boxer and family man Daniel Pleasant who was married to politician Mary-Sue Pleasant, who was currently running for Mayor of Pleasantview. The Pleasant's, another well known picture perfect family. Daniel and his sister grew up in Pleasantview with their parents , Jeff and Diane. Jennifer married John Burb, son of Tiffany and Brad Burb, together they had a daugther, Lucy. Daniel married Mary-Sue and had twins, Lilith and Angela, who are now in their senior year and heading off to college. The Pleasant's are the picture perfect family, well that's what they appear to be, husband, wife, two children, one an academic the other, well into the arts. Lilith had been in trouble with the law throughout her teenage years. That of course damaged her mother's campaign to be mayor, so an affair coming out would completly ruin her campaign and her family.

Kaylynn worked for the Pleasant's as their maid, but she fell for Daniel. You see, Kaylynn always wanted a family, a husband and children and Daniel is such an amazing father to his daughters, he would go to the end of the world to protect them, and Kaylynn, guessed that's what attracted her to him in the first place. If only Daniel was as good as husband as he is a father. Kaylynn always knew her affair was wrong and needed to end, but she saw things that the neighbors didn't see, the Pleasant's weren't that perfect after all. Kaylnn was the maid, she spends more time in that house than any of them she knew all of their secrets. However Kaylynn also had a secret of her own, something that could tear Daniel's perfect family and Don's engagement apart.

"Kaylynn please not today. It's my wedding day and Cassandra has gotten cold feet and she's not answering her phone so unless you've seen her today I really don't have the time" Don started to walk away.

"I really need to talk to you, it's about us." Kaylynn said.

"Us?" Don laughed, "there is no us. We split up. I'm with Cassandra now. So please whatever idea of 'us' you have in your silly little brain of yours, leave it, move on, we're over!".

"I'm pregnant."

"What? You can't be? We've split up months ago."

"I only found out last week and believe me I'm not telling you because I want you back or because I want to ruin your day-"

"Then why are you telling me, today of all days?"

"Because you have a right to know Don."

"How much? How much do you need? I'll get you whatever amount of money you want to get rid of it or at least stay quiet-"

"I don't want your money Don. I don't need it. I just want you to have the choice in whether you are apart of this baby's life or not. I won't hold it against you if you say no but I want it to be your choice to be a father because it's my choice to be a mother, regardless of how much you hate me or how much trouble Nina and Dina will cause me, I'm having our baby." Kaylynn declared. She was done with being pushed around by Don and the Caliente sisters, she had to stand up for herself, like her mother always taught her.

"Do you know what Kaylynn, I don't care, I don't have time for your drama. Don't talk to me again, I'm off to go and find my fiance."

"Does Cassandra know you're with Dina, actually does Nina even know you're sleeping with her twin? Do the Goths know you're only marrying Cassandra for their money?" Kaylynn asked. "Come on, we both know Cassandra would never look at you and we both know how bad you are paying your rent on time since you can't hold down a job. 2000 simoleons you owe me."

"You need to watch your mouth. Cassandra and I are for real, all Nina and Dina are to me are exes, that's all."

"You really think your something special don't you? The Don Lothario, with the flashy car and the nice house that you got with your parents inheritance, but really you're a mess, a loser who gets fired from every job he's ever had, and loses every good woman in his life. Cassandra has probably already realised how sad and pathetic you are and changed her mind about marrying you. And eventually Nina and Dina will realise too, and you'll be all on your own. I should go and find Cassandra myself, tell her everything about who you really are"

"Yeah I might be a bit of a sleaze and yeah I've got no job right now but you're not perfect! You sure that baby is mine? That's right. I know about you and that boxer, nearly to be retired boxer, Daniel, that politician's husband."

"I don't...I don't know what you're talking about?" Kaylynn stuttered.

"Don't act all innocent, when you're done, cleaning their house, you like to 'hang out' with Daniel. He's home all the time now since he's been signed off work with his injury. So you say a single word to Cassandra, Nina or Dina. And Daniel finds out you're pregnant and it might not be his. You'll be out of a job, you won't get a penny from me and come on, you really think Daniel would leave his wife and daughters to play happy families with, some stupid 20 odd year old fling? You're deluded and stupid. And I feel sorry for that baby, having no father and you for a mother. Oh dear, have I upset you?" Kaylynn was trying to hold back the tears, deep down, she knew what Don was saying was right, she's going to be bringing up this baby on her own, Daniel would never leave his family for her and she couldn't being sacked by his wife. "Grow up and get over us and Daniel as well. You're just a lonely desperate girl. You probably got pregnant on purpose thinking I'd jump right back into your bed. It's quite sad really, truth is Kaylynn, I only slept with you, because I felt sorry for you. No friends at school, worked so hard to get into your dream college and not one single school accepted you. And now you clean peoples houses for a living. Go home Kaylynn. Stop causing trouble, because it's only you and your baby that will lose in the end." Don stormed off. He always had a nasty tongue on him. He could be quite cruel when he didn't get his own way.

"Angela! Lilith! Hurry up we're going to be late." Shouted Mary-Sue. "Daniel come on, get a move on. After everything that has happened to that family, this is meant to be Cassandra's big day, and as her best friend, I can't be late."

"Mom look what Lilith is wearing"

"Lilith you can't wear that. Black at a wedding and take those piercings out of your face. It's bad enough you got them done and that tattoo. Which we will be getting removed as soon as possible."

"Mom tattoo removals hurt, and the guy who did the piercings said I need to leave them in."

"I don't care, take them out. Daniel tell her."

"Take them out Lilith, you heard your mother."

"I did tell her not to get them done" Angela butted in.

"Oh shut up Angie." Lilith scowled.

"Don't call me that, I don't like it." Angela whined.

"Lilith leave your sister alone, why can't you be more like your sister? Feminine and normal? Hurry up we're going to be late."

"Ugh you're always telling me to be more like her! I can never please you! I'm ready, I'll be in the car." Lilith stormed off.

"I'll talk to her. "Daniel said.

"Mom! Kaylynn is here?" Lilith shouted.

"Kaylynn?" You're not meant to be here today." Mary-Sue smiled.

"I know. That's why I'm here. Hi Daniel, Angela, Lilith."

"Can it wait?" Mary-Sue said, with a forced smile. ""We're kind of in a hurry. It's my best friends wedding to day. Cassandra Goth? I think you've met her, she marrying Don Lothario. I don't know why, don't tell anyone but I personally don't think they'll last very long. Poor Cassie, she's had it rough lately and-"

"Honey you're rambling. Kaylynn what are you doing here?" Daniel asked.

"I'm so sorry it's short notice, but uh umm, here's my resignation. I'm so sorry. I just can't be here anymore, this job. it's not working out."

"You're quitting. Why? Is it me? Am I too full on. Did Lilith say something horrible to you?" Mary-Sue asked.

"Mom! I'm in school when Kaylynn is here, I hardly see her or know her." Lilith protested.

"No no it's not you or Lilith. Honestly, all of you have been so lovely to me, you gave me a job when I had no experience and I've never felt under pressure working for you. I'm having some personal issues. You're going to find out eventually, I'm expecting." Kaylynn said. There was an awkward silence.

"You're expecting? Oh? Oh you're having a baby, wow, well congratulations. I didn't even know you had a partner. Oh sorry, that was inappropriate. I'm not one to could always discuss maternity leave, you don't need to quit your job. You'll need the money, babies are a lot of work you know. One baby is hard enough but twins, well. I do wonder how Daniel and I manged so well, they where both so difficult when they where young, especially Lilith." Mary-Sue said. She was one to judge, and she didn't have the best social skills.

"It's fine. The father, it's complicated. I don't want to burden you with my problems. Thing is, I'm moving away, back to Sunset Valley. My parents still live there, this would be their first grandchild. And well times like this I really need my parents." Kaylynn said.

"Oh well that's a shame, you we're such a good maid-" Mary-Sue said.

"Who's the father?" Daniel asked.

"Daniel!"

"Dad, you can't ask that!" Lilith said. "That's so personal."

"It's just like Mary-Sue said, we didn't know you had a partner. I mean you mentioned a guy you'd been seeing." Daniel said. He was so sure he and Kaylynn where careful when they would 'hook up' behind his wife's back.

"Daniel darling, that is Kaylynn's business not ours. Why would you ask that anyway? Like she said, she's leaving anyway. Well anyway thanks for stopping by Kaylynn." Mary-Sue smiled.

"I promise I'll work my notice until you find another maid. Thank you for being so understanding." Kaylynn said.

"Sorry for the intrusive question." Daniel said. "I'll see you out." He grinned. Daniel went to the front door and waited until he and Kaylynn where both outside and closed the door over behind him. "Pregnant? You're pregnant? We where always careful."

"I know but accidents happen. That's why I'm leaving. Besides I don't even know if its yours."

"What? You've been with someone else while you where with me?"

"Don't take the moral high ground. I'd just come out of a relationship, you're the one who is married. Like I told your wife, it's complicated. I don't want to make this whole situation any worse than it has to, I'm leaving and you and Don will never have to see me again, if you want to be a father-"

"Don! Don Lothario, he's your ex. But he's been engaged to Cassandra for nearly a year. Oh just another man in a relationship that you threw yourself at?"

"Don was already dating Nina and when he started dating me. He then started dating Cassandra. He was in a relationship with three different women until Nina found out about me and him. He ended it with both of us and stayed with Cassandra, she has no idea he cheated as far as I'm aware. He's only marrying her for the money anyway."

"Well maybe you should leave, come back when you've given birth and you know who the father is. I'll support you financially if it's mine. Otherwise I never want to see you ever again." Kaylynn started to walk away and Daniel rubbed his hand through his hair try to collect himself before he goes back into the house. Little did either of them know that their conversation was witnessed. Lilith had seen the whole thing through the window, but what was she going to do?

It's been a few months since I posted the first chapter. I can't believe how many people have viewed it already, thank you. Who do you think the baby's father is or who do you want it to be? I'll try to get a third chapter out as soon as possible. If you have any ideas and would like to contribute feel free to message me or if you have any feedback, feel free to review it. I hope you enjoy this chapter.
