"I can't believe she left us behind." Charlie grumbled leaning onto Gideon's console.

"Especially me." Martin added, "I'm the only one that was alive and old enough to remember the nineties."

Nate was scanning through Gideon's current events records for the time period that they're in when suddenly he gave a gasp.

Martin looked over at Nate, "What is it? Is something wrong?"

"No, but check out the date."

"April sixteenth nineteen ninety-three." Charlie read not making the connection that Nate already had, "What's the importance of the date?"

Nate stared at Martin and Charlie, "What happens three days from now in Waco, Texas?"

Both Charlie and Martin had looks of clarity on their faces, finally making the same connection that Nate had.

"Oh, the Mount Carmel fire." Martin uttered, "I hope you're not suggesting what I think you are, Nate."

Charlie just smiled, "I think he is. We do have a time ship after all. We can change the outcome."

"We aren't supposed to change history." Martin reminded them

"Why not?" Nate questioned, "If you hadn't changed history, you never would have ended up with your daughter Lily."

Martin grumbled as he shook his head, "Sara's gonna kill us."

"You can stay if you wish, old man. Nate and I will take the jumpship."

Nate nodded, "To the jumpship." He grinned, "I always want to say that."

Charlie and Nate ran off to the jumpship. Martin stood in his place for a moment before giving a sigh and chasing after his two younger colleagues as he thought, 'these two are gonna be the death of me.'.

That wasn't the only thing Martin was thinking about. He was also thinking about his daughter. In 1993, Lily was the same age as David and Rachel's daughter Star. They were both just six years old.

Once in the jumpship, the trio realised that not everyone in Mount Carmel would fit in the jumpship, so they left the jumpship behind with a note that they had borrowed the waverider. Then Nate took the controls of the waverider and flew off to Waco, Texas.

Meanwhile in Waco, Texas inside of Mount Carmel, David Koresh was sitting on his mattress. He was still injured but he could get up and walk with help.

"Hey Rach." He called out.

His wife Rachel wasn't nearby, but her sister Michele was. She poked her head into the doorway.

"David."

He looked over, "Oh hey Michele. Is Rachel nearby?"

Michele shook her head, "No. Is there anything I can do to help?"

"No. I just needed to talk with Rachel about something."

Suddenly a little girl ran past Michele and over to David. He smiled seeing who the little girl was.

"Holly." He uttered. It was his daughter Hollywood.

"I'm sorry, David. I tried to hold her back." Lorraine Sylvia apologised. She was Hollywood's mother.

David waved her off, "Nonsense, Lorraine. It's fine." He was playing with Hollywood's ponytail, running his fingers through it, "How are you doing, Holly? Did you want Daddy?"

"Want Daddy." Hollywood said, leaning against her father. She was two, but she wasn't much of a talker. She was more contemplative. She was more of a thinker than a talker.

David just smiled. He loved each of his children. They all had a special place in his heart, but that's because his children were special.

He kissed the top of his daughter's head, "I love you, Holly. Do you love Daddy?"

"Love Daddy." Hollywood replied

Outside of the Mount Carmel complex, there were about four hundred federal agents surrounding the 77 acre land that the complex was on. In the woods, the waverider was landed by Nate. Martin, Charlie and Nate were staring at Mount Carmel trying to figure out how they would get inside without being shot.

"So what's our game plan?" Charlie asked, looking at Nate. This was his idea after all.

"Well we could wait until nightfall and then just walk up to the door." Nate suggested, "But I think all three of us going at the same time would be too risky...Unless...Charlie, can you shapershift into an animal, like a small animal?"

Charlie pulled a face, "Hmm...you know, I don't know. I've never tried it, but I don't see why not."

"Okay. Here's what we're gonna do. Charlie, you shapeshift into a mouse or some other small rodent animal and sneak into Mount Carmel. Find a place to hide. Watch and report to me through the ear piece about what's going on inside. I will join you at nightfall." He glanced at Martin, "Grey, you can just wait for us in the waverider. We don't want to scare the people. Plus I'll let you know when to fly the waverider closer. Leave it invisible and park it in front of the door so that we can all just walk in without having to walk across the field."

Charlie and Martin both just nodded. Charlie shapeshifted into a dwarf hamster and started her journey to the Mount Carmel complex, scurrying her way across the field. Being so small, the agents didn't even see her squeeze in through one of the bullet holes.

Martin headed back to the waverider while Nate hid in the bushes waiting for the sun to set. He needed it to be dark so that he could make it to the front door. At night there would be less risk.

Back inside Mount Carmel, David was alone in the room and Rachel had finally made her way over to him.

"Sorry. I was feeding Bobbie." Rachel apologised. Bobbie was their youngest. She was sixteen months old.

"It's alright, Rach." David told her

Rachel gave a nod, "So what did you need to talk to me about?"

David motioned his wife over, "I'm about halfway done with the seals, but it will probably be about a week before I'm done. And I was thinking, it's been awhile since we've asked people if they want to leave. I want you and Steve to go around and ask people if they want to leave."

"Okay." She replied, "Should I tell them you're almost done with the seals?"

David shook his head, "No. Just ask them if they want to leave."

"Okay. I don't think anyone wants to leave. Everyone pretty much just wants to stick it out till the end with you, but I'll still ask." Rachel told him

"Thank you, Rach. That's all."

Charlie could see and hear every word from where she was hiding behind the amplifiers and guitars in the room. She watched Rachel leave the room and then gave Nate an update.

A couple hours later, it was finally dark outside. Dark enough that Nate could steel up and walk to the front door without the FBI and ATF agents paying too much attention to him. He knocked on the door and then when he heard footsteps inside, he changed back to his human flesh form.

The door opened but Nate didn't recognise the person. All he knew was that it wasn't David Koresh.

"Please let me in." He begged, "I came a long ways away to see David. To learn from him."

The person nodded, stepping aside to let him in, "I'm David Jones, but you can call me Dave. And you are?"

"Nate Heywood." He introduced

Dave nodded again, "How did you get in here?"

"It wasn't hard. These agents don't seem to know what they're doing."

Dave just smirked as he shook his head, "Come with me. I'll take you to David, but wait in the hallway. I'll find out if David is up for talking."

"Okay. Thank you." Nate replied

In David Koresh's room, Charlie was getting a little impatient and tired of being a rodent, but it kind of made up for the time she and John Constantine turned Zari into a cat. And a puppet.

Dave poked his head into David's room, "David, someone wants to talk to you."

"Who?" David questioned, looking over at his brother-in-law. David Jones was the older brother to Rachel and Michele.

"Uh...he came in just like Louis Alaniz and Jesse Amen. He says his name is Nate Heywood and he wants to learn from you."

David made a 'come in' motion with his hand, "Then let's have him."

"You can go in." Dave told Nate

Nate walked to the doorway and stepped inside the room. He just stared in awe at David Koresh. He couldn't believe he was meeting this man. Nate wasn't religious or anything, but he never believed what the FBI or ATF had said about David and the Branch Davidians. He was always skeptical of second hand sources. The most accurate info was given from a first hand source. That was probably why he became a historian. That and he loved history.

When Clive Doyle, David Thibodeau, and Sheila Martin had published their books about the Waco siege, Nate read both books. First hand accounts from actual survivors. Those were the stories that he believed.

"It's a pleasure to meet you, Mr. Koresh."

"Please, just call me David." He insisted, "Now what would you like to learn from me, Nate?"

"Oh everything." Nate replied, stepping further into the room and squatting down in front of David, "But first there's something I have to tell you, because there's not much time."

"Okay. What is it?" David questioned, ready to listen

Nate took a breath, "Okay. See the thing is...you're gonna think I'm crazy, but the thing is I'm from the future and I have knowledge that you and your people are gonna die."

David laughed like Nate had made a joke.

"April nineteenth ninety ninety-three." Nate added, "That's the day that you all die. The FBI and ATF push tear gas into your building and everything burns. You, your children, your wife. Everyone dies."

There were actually nine people that made it out of the fire, but Nate didn't see any reason to mention that.

Now David looked serious, "So I was right. They are gonna kill us."

He had a vision about that happening. He had predicted that the FBI and ATF agents would burn their building down to get rid of the evidence that the ATF had shot first.

Nate nodded, "Yes, but it doesn't have to happen. I can save everyone. I have a ship. You and your people don't have to die and you don't have to go to jail either. I can take you anywhere you want, but time doesn't like to be changed so in order to trick time into thinking the timelike is still intact your home still has to burn."

Dave had still been standing in the doorframe and David glanced over at him, "Tell everyone that we leave tomorrow night. I can finish the seals when we get to wherever we're going. I want everyone packing." He turned back to Nate, "Do you want to help me with transcribing the seals until we leave."

Nate's mouth dropped open, shocked as he nodded completely dumbfounded and lost for words.

Dave left to tell his sisters Rachel and Michele, and then the three of them spread the word to everyone else.

David was translating the fourth seal while Nate typed it up on the typewriter. Nate was getting to be a part of history. This was so exciting for him, but another part of him was dreading how Sara would react when she, Ray, Zari, and Jax finished their mission and got back to find the waverider gone with the jumpship left in it's place.
