Full Summary: The girl was sickly pale, with purple hair so dark it appeared black. She wore a torn and tattered captain's outfit, which might've once been purple.

Her chest rose up and down slowly, just barely, signaling the faintest sign of life.

"Who is she?" Jake asked, staring down at the girl. She looked about his age. "I've never seen her before."

Skully tugged gently at her hole filled sleeve, receiving a soft groan in response. Cubby shooed the bird away softly, giving the girl some space.

Peter stared down at her, brow furrowed. A distant, shattered memory tugged at the back of his head, begging to be let out.

Who was she? And why was she so...familiar?...

*?*?*?

Sunlight streamed through the window, lighting and warming the room.

A soft sigh could be heard and small movements could be seen from the other side of the room. A head of black hair popped out from under ocean themed blankets. A hand soon followed and rubbed the remaining sleep out of emerald green eyes.

The young boy slid out from under the covers, softly padding towards the bathroom to get ready for the day.

A few minutes later, the lad's friends stirred awake.

A bright green parrot ruffled his feathers from his perch, his charcoal colored eyes flashing softly in the sunlight.

A young girl stretched leisurely, a soft groan escaping her lips. Warm brown eyes squinted as the sunlight hit her eyes, momentarily blinding her. She sat up and dangled her feet over the edge of her bed, waiting for her friend to finish using the bathroom.

And then lastly, a boy no older than five, awoke from his slumber. He rubbed his bleary baby blue eyes, his other fist clamped tightly around the corner of his blanket.

After a few more minutes, Jake stepped out of the bathroom, his signature red headband woven around his head. A white pirate shirt was accented with a navy blue vest with gold highlights and matching buttons. He tugged at his brown boots, with the letter 'J' on the top, pulling them up.

Izzy jumped off her bed, dashing towards the bathroom as Jake headed out of the room.

Cubby sat on the floor, fiddling with some sort of small toy he had found washed up on shore. He occasionally glanced at the door, though he knew he would know when Izzy got our.

Skully preened his feathers, some older ones floating to the ground.

Izzy walked into the room soon after, tugging on her bag of pixie dust, the yellow bag standing out from her light pink shirt.

She smiled and nodded at Cubby, who smiled in response as he scurried to the bathroom.

Skully ruffled his feathers one last time and flew away.

Cubby was just pulling on his other shoe as he hopped out and into the room.

His baby blue vest and red shorts somehow went together (That would forever be a mystery to everyone, including Peter), and his brown shoes were rather worn.

As he stepped out into the sunlight, he saw his mateys waiting for him, snacking on fresh fruits. Jake waved him over, and Cubby happily obliged.

"So, what are we doing today?" Cubby asked, reaching for a banana.

Izzy handed him one from across the table. "I don't know. What do you want to do today, Jake?"

Jake pondered for a moment, before something clicked in his head. "How about we search the beach for something? Or we could do basketball."

"I think we should search the beach," Izzy nodded. "I think we might find something interesting."

"That you will!" a voice laughed with glee.

And auburn haired boy clothes in all green swooped in from the sky, stopping just a few feet above the ground.

"Peter!" the three Pirates and their parrot exclaimed.

"Peter, we didn't know you were coming," Izzy said, a bit confused.

"Aye," Peter agreed. "It was a surprise."

"It's a very nice surprise," Cubby giggled as Peter ruffled his hair lovingly.

"Yeah!" Skully squawked in agreement.

"We were gonna head to the beach to see if we could find anything." Jake pointed in the beach's direction.

"I heard!" Peter said.

"Would you like to join us?" Cubby asked shyly.

"Of course!"

"Then let's go!" Jake jumped off his chair and ran, followed closely by everyone else.

*?*?*?

It was a long morning.

Apparently, nothing interesting had decided to wash up on shore.

After what seemed like hours, the five friends plopped down on the ground, sweaty.

"Looks like nothing interesting showed up," Cubby said, wiping his forehead with the back of his hand.

"Yeah," Izzy agreed. "Maybe we should just go inside."

Peter, Izzy, Cubby, and Skully started towards the hideout.

Jake stared out into the open ocean, squinting at a dark shape that appeared to be getting closer.

"Hey, mateys? There's something in the water, and it's coming right towards us..."

*?*?*?

His friends had decided to go inside, meaning he had to go in and get them. Which is exactly what they did.

"I wonder what it is," Cubby said, running outside.

"I dunno, I couldn't really tell what it was," Jake replied.

As so they sat on the beach and waited.

Soon, it washed up.

Or she washed up.

The girl was sickly pale, with purple hair so dark it appeared black.

"I don't know," the auburn haired boy admitted. "She does look familiar, though."

"We can't just leave her out here." Izzy touched the girl's neck, searching for a pulse. She found one, a very faint one. "I don't she'll make it."

"Then we should bring her inside." Peter scooped up the girl in his arms, and hurriedly flew towards the hideout.

"Who do you think she is?" Izzy asked.

"I don't know," Jake replied as they ran back to the hideout. "But I have a feeling we'll find out soon."
