Wildwing felt a strong wind yank his body left and right as he strained to open his eyes. Then there was a sudden jerk and he found himself flattened on his front across a floor. He was in a bit of pain, but he'll be okay.

"Some ride.", he muttered.

"Tell me about it.", Canard added.

Wildwing got to his knees and looked to his sides to see that everyone else had made it too.

"Everyone okay?", he asked.

"I'm good.", Adam answered, "Though I got a major cramp in my wing joints."

"I'll live.", Clyde put in.

Derek and his family seemed okay as well as Danielle and Julia. BRAWN and Foxy were a bit battered, but they seemed fine also. Thrash and Mookie however looked ecstatic.

"So what's going to happen now?", Thrash asked.

"Well we got rid of Lucretia.", Wildwing stated, "For good this time."

At that moment, he felt a tickle go across his body and Morpha slid out the top of his armor and reformed beside him.

"Well, the amoeba's okay.", Julia commented.

Benny looked around and looked a bit disappointed.

"Aww, can't we at least get dropped off somewhere interesting?", he griped.

Snowdrop looked his way annoyed.

"Hey, we're just lucky to be alive.", she said firmly.

Wildwing looked around to see they were now back in Temperal Caverns right in front of the huge fountain.

"Great.", he said rolling his eyes, "We're back here where-"

"You started."

The ducks looked up to see Observer, Phage, and Chroma looking pretty beat.

"Whoa.", Clyde said a bit surprised, "What happened to-"

"Tempus happened.", Phage said cutting Clyde off.

"Hey, where's the rest of us?", Julia asked.

"All fine.", Observer said as if it were obvious.

"They're not...dead are they?", Danielle asked cautiously.

"No.", Chroma answered, "Just removed from the board."

A rift opened nearby and out stepped Nosedive, Duke, Tanya, Grin, Mallory, Phil and Klegghorn all fresh as if nothing had happened at all.

"Miss us?", Nosedive asked.

Wildwing smiled.

"So we-"

"Passed.", the Keepers said in perfect unification.

"We knew you would.", Phage put in.

"Then why make us go through all that?", Benny asked.

"We just thought it would be fun.", Observer answered, "Besides, you won't have to worry about Tempus anymore."

"We took care of him.", Chroma stated.

At that moment, the fountain's water curtain parted to reveal a gleaming spire of crystal that sparkled and dimmed every now and then as the Keepers revealed a new crystal merging into it.

"Every Keeper fallen comes to rest as it has since the dawn of eternity.", Phage stated.

The fountain returned to normal and the ducks then noticed something.

"Guys?", asked Rosie, "Where's-"

"Drake?", Wildwing guessed, "I'm pretty sure he's-"

"Fine.", the Keepers said in unification again.

"Would you stop doing that?!", Phil asked sharply, "It's annoying."

Drake washed his face as he looked to his mask and placed it in his pack. After the fiasco with Zeral and Charyus, he was given a day to rest up for his trip back to Dimensional Limbo. A knock came on his door.

"Who is it?", he asked.

"It's just me.", Draco answered.

"It's open.", Drake stated.

The door opened as Draco entered the room and saw Drake already wearing pants and putting his shirt on.

"So what brings you here at this hour?", Drake asked.

Draco took a couple breaths which showed that he was nervous, but he got over it.

"I just...wanted to thank you for helping us out. Even if we weren't your species."

Drake smiled.

"Hey, not all saurians are bad just as not all of my kind is pure. Besides, I need to get back to my team. Hopefully they fared better than I did."

Drake by now had finished dressing and was about to put his mask on his face, but paused as he noticed Draco's confused expression.

"What?"

"I just never saw you without your mask over your face like that.", Draco admitted, "I quite like it."

Drake put it back into his pack and got his things together before he and Draco headed to the dining hall where breakfast was being served. Harzep, Gerazi, Darcel, and Geoff were up also with Frazzak and a bunch of ambassadors. Dragaunus and his underlings were nowhere to be seen, but that was to be expected since they were working off their debt to society. As they got closer to the table, one of the ambassadors rolled his eyes.

"When is he going to get his timing right?", he asked harshly.

Frazzak gave the ambassador a look before turning to Drake and Draco taking a seat.

"I trust you slept well?"

"I did your majesty.", Drake said politely.

Darcel chuckled.

"What's with you?", Geoff asked.

"I'm just a little moved that the duck who Zeral tried to kill took him out twice in a lifetime."

Harzep rolled his eyes looking a bit unnerved.

"Ugh, don't remind me."

"Hey, he was enslaving my kind and turned on his own people at the time.", Drake put in, "I had to stand up to him or who would?"

"Touche.", Darcel admitted.

Back in Limbo, the ducks regrouped at the Pond and were in the rink talking.

"So how did you beat Lucretia?", Nosedive asked, "You didn't use magic did you?"

"And risk death?", Canard responded with a raised eyebrow, "No. Wildwing had a plan."

Wildwing flashed a happy smile.

"Lucretia's greatest flaw was pride.", he explained, "She couldn't resist showing how great she was even when she had the winning edge. It blinded her judgment and Morpha made a false puck for her to chase while I got the real puck to the goal."

The others looked impressed.

"I gotta admit, that was a great strategy.", Duke said smiling, "Too bad Tanya, Dive and I couldn't see it first hand."

"I'm just happy that Lucretia's gone for good this time.", Mallory said firmly, "She had it coming for a long time."

Grin nodded.

"Those who don't repent from their sins are condemned to be lost."

Benny however looked eager.

"So where's the next adventure?", he asked eagerly.

Derek sighed heavily.

"Son, when will you give it a rest?"

"When he's in the infirmary probably.", Timmy put in.

Benny frowned in his brother's direction, but Wildwing beat him before he could say anything.

"I think we're done here.", he said calmly.

"But what about Drake?", Benny countered, "Where did he go?"

As if to answer him, a rift opened up and Drake came out carrying a pack over his shoulder and a smile on his face.

"Did you miss me?", he asked.

BRAWN instantly beeped twice and a com in his arm opened up for a minute before closing.

"Who was that?", Thrash asked.

"That was Dr. Quasleet sending a text to me that he's ready to beam us back to Puckworld at the ready.", the bounty hunting robot answered.

Phil looked a bit disappointed.

"Aw man, I was just starting to have a good time."

Wildwing gave a sneaky smile.

"Well Phil, there's about a hundred different worlds out there to-"

Phil's facade faded instantly.

"Changed my mind, let's go home."

As the ducks moved about to get their things set, Benny, Snowdrop and Timmy noticed Drake sitting in the stands looking at his mask.

"What's up Drake?", Benny asked.

That was when glowing markings appeared across Drake's body, but Drake didn't look sad.

"Drake?", Timmy asked, "Why are you glowing like that?"

Drake set his mask beside him.

"I'm reaching that moment children."

Benny looked confused.

"What moment?", he asked, "What do you mean?"

"I'm finished.", Drake answered, "In a while, I'll be gone."

By now, Derek and Rosie had shown up with Adam and Clyde followed by everyone else and noticed Drake's markings.

"What's going on here?", Julia asked.

"Is Drake going to die?", Danielle asked looking a bit anxious.

Drake shook his head still smiling.

"Transcend.", he answered.

"What's that?", Benny asked.

"It means to rise above or beyond.", Adam explained.

"But why now?", Wildwing asked, "Why is Drake transcending?"

"I'm done.", Drake answered, "I did all I needed to do."

Benny instantly looked ready to cry.

"But you can't!", he said before falling to the ground with tears in his eyes.

"Hey, there's no reason to cry.", Canard said calmly.

Benny clearly wasn't listening, but Derek held him back when he tried getting close to Drake.

"Why does he have to go?!", Benny cried, "He was supposed to come back with us and meet his future children!"

Drake placed a hand on Benny's shoulder and used his other hand to lift his head up.

"Benny Angelwing, I will always be around even if you can't see me."

A short while later, the roof of the Pond opened to reveal Puckworld forming in a rift that had opened up. Drake's markings had gotten brighter and he was standing in an open area while everyone else stood by.

"Does he really have to go?", Clyde asked.

Wildwing sighed.

"Clyde, echoes are not supposed to exist in places that they are not part of.", he said calmly.

Drake turned and gave Wildwing a smile.

"Couldn't have said it better myself.", he said as his form became more transparent, "And where I'll be is a place where all of you can always find me as I watch over you, your children, and your children's children for all the ages to pass."

That was when Drake's form dispersed into a shower of glittering stars that started to swirl as if a wind was blowing until it all flew up towards the rift and a powerful light bathed the Pond and caused the ducks to close their eyes to prevent being blinded. A powerful feeling rocked their bodies to their souls as the light dimmed enough for them to see the Pond reforming in a place near Drake's monument and since it was night, that made it so Drake's transcendence was still seen as the stars flew around the team one member at a time.

"Remember what you learned my friends. Always."

Wildwing picked up Drake's mask and held it as the stars flew into the heavens and came together in a single area before exploding into a dazzling display that by now everyone else was coming out of their houses just to witness. Benny was still teary eyed, but he smiled weakly.

"Good-bye.", he squeaked.

Snowdrop looked a bit disappointed, but she understood too well that Drake had to go. The display now formed a new constellation in the form of Drake with his stick held high and his other hand over his heart.

"Looks like that's what happens when you transcend huh?", Wildwing asked.

"Yep.", Canard answered, "Drake may be gone, but his memory still remains strong in all of us. In a way, we never really lost him."

Benny now had dried his eyes and was now looking up with determination.

"I won't forget you Drake.", he promised, "Not even when I'm a hundred."

Derek looked pleased.

"I'm sure you won't.", he said.

Phil looked around and saw the swarms of other ducks coming over to see the team and new stadium that had just appeared.

"So, what now?", he asked.

Wildwing smiled and held Drake's mask to the heavens.

"We go forward."

From his chair in his own personal little domain, Theo observed the final pages of his book.

"And that was the end and the journey was done.", he read, "Drake's constellation was born and with it new hope and praise."

The page flipped to reveal Sauria and Draco beside Frazzak while Zeral and Charyus tilted the fields like farmers of old.

"Zeral and Charyus still worked towards their debt to society though to be fair, they didn't share it just between themselves.", Theo read as he noticed Dragaunus and his men doing similar work alongside them, "Draco's days of travel were not over, there was more to his tale, but that is for another time."

The page turned again to reveal Nosedive and Julia alongside Canard and Danielle all in wedding attire inside a grand cathedral with Phil as the preacher and Klegghorn as a groomsman alongside Thrash and Grin. Rosie, Mookie, and Tanya were dressed as bridesmaids with Morpha being the ring bearer and Foxy helping out.

"Though it was long and was fun, true love came right through. And the two couples made it all official.", Theo read as he noticed the dresses Julia and Danielle wore and recalled a certain dream that he had seen, "That friend of mine really knew her matchmaking."

He continued observing the page as it revealed Danielle and Julia tossing their bouquets and they both landed in the hands of Mallory and Wildwing though Wildwing looked nervous and blushed as he looked away. The next thing to be revealed was Morpha shifting into a magnificent horse as Nosedive placed Julia upon it.

"You going that route?", Canard asked as he pulled up on a motorcycle with Danielle sitting behind him.

Nosedive smiled as he got on and Julia touched the nautilus shell necklace Nosedive had given her.

"And away they went.", Theo read as he watched the couples ride off into the sunset, "To create new beginnings with the ones they loved."

Theo sighed as the book closed itself and the cover now bore it's title: Disney's The Mighty Ducks.

"Well good-bye ducks.", he said as the book lifted up to the shelf alongside the others of it's series, "It was fun, but my work here is done. You have your own tales to tell."

Theo then got up and walked to the fireplace and stoked the fires a bit to help them flare a bit and warm up the place as the area around his domain started shifting again.

"So that's it then? Another reality down and another on the way."

He paused as he looked towards a stand where a single tome was placed. This wasn't from the shelf and had been there as long as Theo had known it. In the center was a large gem that looked cracked into pieces and one of the pieces had lit up during the last set of books he had read. Another part of the gem lit up as Theo seated himself into his lounge chair again.

"Two stories down, five more to go.", he said plainly as he observed the bookshelf, "Alright magic bookshelf, where do I go now?"

No book came out yet, but Theo knew too well one would so he conjured a plate of peanut butter cookies and a glass of caramel milk as he recalled the books he had read.

"I wonder what form I'll take in the next reality I visit.", Theo wondered as he helped himself to a cookie and sighed with content, "Just like they always are. Warm, soft and filled with love."
