(A/N) Ahhh, I'm a bad author. This chapter wasn't edited prior to posting, so its most likely not the best quality. Apologies in advance.

Charlie was crying, sobs racking his body and tears burring his vison, when he dismounted. His knees gave way and he crumpled to the ground, his rifle barrel still steaming on the cold night.

Hogan rushed over to him, checking him over for injuries before giving him a hug. "Charlie? Charlie, are you alright?"

"I didn't… I didn't want to kill him, Rob. I didn't, I promise." The young colonel murmured, clutching his cousin close to him. "I didn't have any choice."

"I know. You saved my life, Chuck. Thank you." Hogan whispered.

Meyers sniffed, wiping his eyes with the backs of his hands. "London sent a message. The plant's got extra surveillance on the inside of the grounds. You'll get shot if you try to enter."

"We weren't going to enter. Carter forgot the detonators." The commander growled, glaring over his shoulder at Carter, who shrunk back and pretended to be invisible. "Come on, off the road. We'll get seen."

Charlie led Pegasus over to where Kinch had parked the car and tied him to a tree branch, stroking his coat gently to soothe him before walking over to join the group.

Hogan looked over the iron fence at the plant. Guards patrolled every inch of the compound, machine guns in hand. One especially heavily guarded area was a pair of large gas tanks, with lines connecting them to the main plant. A plan hatched in his mind and he smiled.

"Charlie, could you shoot those gas tanks from here?" He asked. Charlie looked over at the tanks, then hefted his rifle, adjusting the scope carefully.

"Yeah, I guess. Not an easy shot, though. The tanks are rounded, so the bullet will probably just ricochet the first time. Give me two shots and I could."

Mirror rushed over. "Those tanks are only connected to the main plant. The dumps of already completed ball bearings aren't inside the main plant, but are off to the side, near the fence. We need to get rid of those too."

Hogan grinned, turning to his team. "Carter. Do you have any fuses?"

"Sure, sir. Why?" Came the soft question as Carter started unloading his pack, spreading the few small bombs on the ground.

Hogan grinned evilly beneath his mask "Divide the explosives into about two dozen neat sticks. We're taking this old school."

It took Carter about ten minutes and half a roll of duct tape to remake the explosives into sticks with fuses on the ends, ready to be lit and thrown over the wall by hand. Charlie readied his gun, his hands still shaking slightly from his earlier… uh, defence of kin.

He breathed deeply, relaxing his heart and hands, taking careful aim while awaiting Hogan's order. Mirror's team ran and positioned themselves around the outside of the wall, ready to light and throw the sticks of explosives once Charlie shot the gas tanks.

Finally, Hogan came over to his younger cousin, who had held his aim in position the whole time he was away, not wanting to miss the order to fire.

"Ready, Chuck?" Hogan asked, resting his hand on Meyers' shoulder.

"Ready, Rob." He breathed, resting his head against the gun, ready to fire. Robert squeezed his shoulder.

"Fire."

The two shots were fired, and the gas tanks ruptured, the gas igniting and blasting a large hole in the side of the factory. Only a few seconds later, the main plant blew, followed closely by the dumps near the fences as Mirror's men threw their explosives and took off into the woods.

"Alright, everyone get out of here!" Hogan yelled as the surviving guards rushed to the gate and started firing their weapons. The men rushed away, climbing into the car with Kinch driving. Charlie ran back to the trees, vaulting onto Pegasus' back, only to hear a scream behind him. Mirror was grabbed by one of the guards, who roughhoused her into dropping her gun. Charlie gave a shout and spun Gus around, pulling his gun from his back into the crook of his shoulder, firing very quickly at the small group of guards and taking one down with every shot. Mirror broke into a sprint, allowing Charlie to pull her up onto Gus' back as the great horse spun once more on his back hooves and galloped madly down the road on the trail of the black staff car.

The young colonel slowed Gus down a little when he was sure they weren't being followed, then looked down at Mirror, freezing. Her kind blue eyes sparkled in the moonlight as she looked back at him, completely unaware of his identity through the mask.

He lifted a hand, removing the cloth from his face. She stared at his scar.

"You…" She breathed.

"Myra." He murmured back, leaning down hesitantly, then kissing her, finding her lips soft and… and perfect.

Hogan shook his head softly as Carter went over his detonators, cleaning them carefully. "You need to be more organised with your equipment, Carter. If Meyers hadn't gone against orders, we'd probably be captured by the Gestapo by now."

Carter nodded, rather dejected by Hogan's scolding. The colonel sighed. "Where is Charlie, anyway?"

"He's in the radio room with Mirror. Apparently, they had a run-in in Hammelburg the other day and he saved her mother. She's…. uh, paying him back." Kinch replied, his dark cheeks becoming slightly pink with embarrassment.

"Oh, right." Hogan rolled his eyes and shook his head, which caused LeBeau snigger softly. Despite his exasperation, Hogan really wasn't one to talk judging by the number of female agents he'd taken on dates within the past years.

(A/N) Argh, I'll edit it later. I'm in Japanese class with three assessments due! I'll hopefully post again later today.
