Hi everyone, thanks again for waiting. Now, we enter the climactic battle against the Dark Dragon and the Leviathan. How will our heroes prevail in the face of this apocalyptic threat! Find out right now!

Part 4

The dreaded titanic monster that was known as the Leviathan gave another powerful roar that echoed throughout the entire ocean, which even penetrated through the magical dome that kept the ruins of Atlantis from being flooded as all the Avengers and their friends looked up at the sight of the beast in awe and fear.

"Wow… that's… big." Ben commented.

"Well, we can't just stand here! We have to stop that thing!" Illana was among the first to get serious, followed by the rest of the Avengers.

"Us?! Stop it!? How!?" Haley practically screamed. "Not even the world's Dragons of the past could stop it completely! How are we supposed to pull it off!?"

"Seriously! That has to be the largest Magical Creature in existence!" Rose exclaimed. "What can we do?!"

Danny smirked. "Because it's not the only giant monster we've thought." He spared a glance towards Illana, Lance, and Octus; all three of them nodded with serious expressions.

"We'll take care of it; you handle the Dark Dragon." Lance said to the group.

"Consider it done." Jake said seriously.

"Be careful out there, guys." Kim told them as Illana and Lance activated their respective armors and flew alongside Octus into the air and out through the magical dome into the ocean, straight for the awakened Leviathan.

"Um… as much as I applaud you guys' bravery, I don't see how they're gonna stop that thing." Max said, sounding unsarcastically worried.

Ron responded with a simple smile as he put his arm around Max's shoulders. "Ah Max my friend, just sit back and watch the show." Rufus even nodded in excitement as Jake, Danny, Kim, Ben, Rex, and Zak shared knowing smiles while Haley and even Max looked confused as they saw the Galalunian trio flying closer towards the Leviathan.

"Initiate Sym-Bionic Titan!" Octus announced as his body expanded to gigantic proportions, absorbing the Corus and Manus armors into its transparent body, the armors merging with his circuitry as a bright flash of white light temporarily blinded the heroes in the ruined city, which also drew the Leviathan's attention.

When the flash subsided, Max, Rose, and Haley looked beyond stunned at the gigantic sight of Titan that stood on the ocean floor, just outside the dome, staring down against the Leviathan. Jake, Kim, Ron, and even Rufus all snickered at seeing the jaw-dropping expressions on Haley, Rose and even Max, the magic-user's sunglasses almost falling down off his face to show the stunned expressions in his eyes. Needless to say, it was actually a humorous sight for them.

Titan briefly turned back to the other Avengers to give them a small thumbs-up before flying straight towards the Leviathan through the ocean before he recalled back a fist to deliver a flying-punch across the Leviathan's face before flying past it. The Leviathan growled as it roared at the robot that dared to strike it. Titan, having gotten the Leviathan's attention, flew back up toward the surface with the Leviathan swimming in pursuit.

"What… was… that…?" Rose stuttered.

"That babe, is Titan." Jake smirked as he crossed his arms, standing next to her.

"Titan…?" Haley questioned, still in a state of disbelief.

"You ever watch those shows as a kid where costumed superheroes form a giant robot out of a bunch of smaller robots to fight a big evil monster?" Ben explained. "Well, it's basically that."

"Seriously, that thing has tanked all sorts of giant alien monsters and evil robots." Rex smirked. "Pretty sure they got this covered."

"Okay, I gotta admit." Max said as a wide, borderline crazy, smile formed on his face. "That is the coolest thing I have ever seen! And I mean that, including all the other things my past lives have also seen, and they've seen some plenty of really cool things, let me tell ya. But that tops em all!"

"Figured you'd like it." Kim smiled in amusement to Max's antics.

"Alright, Titan's got the Leviathan covered." Danny got everyone back to the situation. "It's up to the rest of us to find the Dark Dragon."

"He should be at the tallest building in this place, or what's left of it." Zak said as he pointed to said ruined building that appeared at least seven miles from their current location. "At least that's what I remember from our little 'dreamscape battle'."

"Alright, then let's…" Danny was suddenly cut off by his ghost-sense, only it seemed much larger than a simple breath like normal, this was much larger.

"Danny?" Kim asked with concern at seeing how shocked he looked.

"That's a lot of ghosts…" Danny remarked, much to his friends' confusion. "EVERYONE LOOK OUT!" He was quick to erupt a large dome of ecto-energy to act as a shield to block themselves from a series of energy beams were shot at them.

"Okay, who's the wise guy that just tried to shoot us!?" Rex called out as Danny lowered his shield.

However, once they saw their assailants; Jake, Rose, Haley, and even Max were more than a little stunned: they were Huntsclan soldiers! And from the looks of it, there were hundreds of them, each one covered in an eerie light-green aura as their bodies seemed somewhat transparent, yet they each carried their own titular Huntstaff. More than a hundred had already appeared on the ground in front the Avengers, with several more hanging and perching off the ruins in the buildings around them. Of course, it wasn't just these ghostly Huntsclan, but also more than a hundred Shade Demons in addition as well.

"The Huntsclan?!" Jake exclaimed in shock.

"But… that's impossible… they… they shouldn't even exist anymore!" Haley exclaimed as she spared a glance at Rose who looked as if she had just seen a ghost, which wasn't all that far off.

"Unless… you have an amulet that can raise the dead." Max said in realization, which was shared by everyone.

"Most perceptive." The group gazed upward to see the dragon form of the former Councilor Chang hovering above them, wielding her dark magic scepter in her claws, and the aforementioned Necro-amulet around her neck. "Though they had no bodies, this magnificent amulet still enables us to bring back all those who have passed on in this world; albeit simply ghosts if there are no bodies to resurrect."

"It's Chang!" Jake glared.

"And I'm guessing that's the undead-amulet around her neck." Ben observed. "Same one that brought back all those dragon zombies."

"Don't you simply adore the irony?" Chang chuckled. "The Huntsclan was formed to eliminate all magical creatures from the Earth; now they are slaves to one who wishes for Humanity's extinction. I'm afraid that this is as far as you go."

"Alright, change in plans." Danny instructed his team. "Jake, you find the Dark Dragon and shut him down. The rest of us will deal with Chang and her army."

"Got it." Jake said as he quickly transformed into his dragon-form.

"Not by yourself, you're not." Kim said as she and Ron stepped up.

"We owe that guy some payback too, ya know buddy." Ron also said with a smirk.

"I'm coming to." Zak also volunteered. "My powers might be able to mess with his head a little."

Jake smiled. "Thanks guys."

"Be careful Jake." Rose said with concern.

"Kick his dark and scaly butt, big bro." Haley nodded with a smile.

"If you fools are finished talking…!" Chang got their attention again as she shot a beam of magic from her staff at the heroes, but Danny was able to intercept it with an ecto-beam, creating a smokescreen that allowed Jake to fly with Zak through the smoke as Ron, while carrying Kim bridal-style, jumped from his spot to the next ruined building and so-on, following Jake.

The smoke was then cleared by a bright flash of green light as Ben had used the Omnitrix to transform into Chromastone, leading the charge with Danny, Rose, Haley in her Dragon form, and Rex who had formed both his Smack Hands and Punk Busters. Likewise, the small army of Huntsclan ghosts and Shade Demons charged at the heroes too, thus beginning the battle royale.

Chang continued to hover in the air as she was ready to fly down and join the battle but was just barely able to avoid the blast of magic-lightning shot at her from behind. She turned around to see the cocky Max standing confidently on a ruined building to face her evenly as he twirled his cane before taking a martial arts stance.

"You never learn, do ya?" Max smirked. "Remember what happened last time he squared off, Changy?"

"Yes, I do." Chang recalled with a grimace before an evil smirk formed on her face. "Fortunately for me, I'm not your opponent."

Before Max could even ask what she meant, his instincts had alerted him to the oncoming danger of a powerful magic blast shot at him, which he was able to block with a circular magic shield, though the force was enough to blast Max from the top of the ruined building, all the way to the ground, forming a small crater as he stood on his feet to look in surprise at who was hovering in the air in front of Chang.

It appeared to be a ghost, similar to those in the Huntsclan at the moment, with pale-green skin and glowing green eyes. He was a bald human male, with a long white beard, wearing a long robe, and intense magic surging at his hands.

"I also took the liberty of resurrecting the Archmage of Atlantis." Chang revealed as she brandished the Necro-Amulet once more. "The most powerful magic user in this lost civilization, the very same one who brought life to the Leviathan. I imagine, he'll be more than a match for even you, Timeless One."

Rather than look intimidated, Max actually smirked. "Are you kidding?! The most powerful guy in Atlantis about to duke it out with me?! And the fact that he's already dead means I don't have to hold back makes it even sweeter!" He spun his cane around once more as his entire body surged with a white aura, his magic power rising to the surface. "This is gonna be fun!"

A hole was blown in the roof of the temple by a stream of fire as Jake flew in, while still carrying Zak, followed by Ron and Kim as they all landed on the ground to come face-to-face with the villain question.

"American Dragon, I've been expecting you." The Dark Dragon greeted causally. "And you bring friends as usual."

"I just got one question for you. Are you completely insane?!" Jake exclaimed. "I mean yeah, you were one twisted dude before, but releasing something that can destroy the whole planet?! What, you realized that all Magical Creatures won't bow to you, so you're alright with killing them all with humanity?!"

"I've seen plenty of narcissistic creeps, but you certainly top it." Kim remarked.

However, rather than be insulted by their remarks, the Dark Dragon actually looked rather amused. "Well, I suppose it's fortunate that you brought a 'titan' of your own to match it."

This took them all by surprise. "Um… is he talking about our Titan?" Ron asked.

"From the way it sounds… it's like he knew about it!" Zak voiced in surprise as they all looked toward the smirking giant lizard.

"How…?" Jake wondered aloud.

"I have a proposition for you, young dragon." The Dark Dragon offered. "Defeat me, and I'll tell you everything I know. Of course, I won't make it easy for you."

"Uh dude… did you forget how we kicked your butt last time?" Ron reminded as he fired up his Mystic Monkey aura once more, while Jake and Kim took their respective combat stances alongside Zak who brandished his Claw and Fang in his hands.

"I admit I underestimated you in the past. A mistake I will not repeat." The Dark Dragon said before he unleashed a large stream of dark flames from his mouth, forcing the heroes to scatter as he spread his flames throughout most of the innards of the temple.

Jake was the first to attack as he flew towards the Dark Dragon with his own fire-breath, but he shielded himself with his arm before he smacked Jake out of the air. Ron was next as he leapt and flipped in the air multiple times before delivering a double kick to the Dark Dragon's chest, causing the large beast to slide back on his feet before Kim and Zak came in from the left and right sides respectively. Kim shot the grappler from her Battle Suit to the Dark Dragon's neck as Zak did the same thing with the extending cable on his Claw, pulling them both up towards his head as the Dark Dragon took to the air with his wings.

As Kim and Zak struggled to hang on tight, Zak tried to focus his Kur powers as his eyes already had their orange aura. "Hey! You remember me?!" He tried to focus his powers on the Dark Dragon specifically, though this only seemed to annoy him.

"Don't flatter yourself, boy!" The Dark Dragon stated. "That power of yours may work for mindless beasts, but not truly evolved creatures such as myself!" He shot his back towards the wall, shaking up the entire chamber on impact, while also knocking both Zak and Kim off and sending them falling toward the ground. He tried to blast them with a point-blank dark fire-breath attack while there down, though Kim was quickly able to provide a bubble-shield to protect herself and her teammate.

As the Dark Dragon seemed focused on them, it left him vulnerable for Jake and Ron to fly or leap up from behind and land a dual-double-kick on his back, sending him crashing to the ground.

Seeing their enemy distracted, Kim deactivated her shield and helped Zak to his feet. "Guess that Kur power isn't as hyped up as we thought, huh?"

"No, he was right." Zak replied. "I can only influence Cryptids, or Magical Creatures in this case, that aren't as smart or evolved; otherwise I could have controlled the Nagas or even… Argost."

Kim seemed to understand. "Alright, so we're gonna have to do it the old-fashioned way." They both turned back to see the Dark Dragon already on his feet and engaged in a brutal match against Jake and Ron before Kim and Zak ran to join in as well.

Titan flew out of the ocean and into the storm that ragged in the sky above them. Rain falling down hard, tidal waves blowing like the wind, lightning striking throughout the sky, they might as well be in the middle of a hurricane. But Titan wasn't focused on that, it was more focused on the Leviathan that emerged from the water and proved that it was even capable of flight as it brandished its multiple wings on its sides. Now that they could face each other, one could see that the Leviathan was actually larger than Titan, almost twice its size and length.

"My god… just look at it." Illana voiced in awe and even fear. "That makes all the Mutradi Mega-Beasts we've fought in the past look tame!"

"It doesn't matter." Lance said as Titan brandished its sword. "If this thing isn't stopped, it'll wipe out this entire world! We can't let that happen!"

Titan flew at the Leviathan at super-speeds, slashing its sword toward its head, but the Leviathan was able to pull its head back before flying higher into the sky, prompting Titan to follow it. However, the Leviathan proved to be much quicker than its enormous size could let on as it quickly slammed its tail down onto it, knocking Titan back into the water. Though Titan was able to recover and pull out of the water, it gazed up at the Leviathan as a bright blue light began surge from its mouth.

"An incredible amount of energy is being gathered concentrated." Octus observed.

"We need the shield!" Illana exclaimed as Titan had already formed its shield just as the light in the Leviathan's mouth shined as brightly as it could.

"No! It's too much power!" Octus voiced in alarm.

"Out of the way!" Lance exclaimed as Titan shot to the right just in time as the Leviathan let loose a powerful and massive beam of concentrated magic energy. It blew across the water, and even caused it to break apart and expose the ocean floor below before the blast subsided, resulting in the ocean coming back down as Titan observed the incredible amount of power displayed in that attack.

"What… what in the name of Galaluna was that?!" Illana exclaimed.

"That looked like a dragon's attack!" Lance observed.

"Not entirely." Octus reported. "Dragons breath fire, but that seemed to be a beam of compressed energy that seemed near identical to plasma, I'm guessing it's some form of magic-based attack. Without question, the Leviathan is far more powerful than anything Titan has faced before."

"Guess there's a reason why the world's Dragons were so afraid of it." Lance said in a nervous tone as Titan looked upward to face the Leviathan as it shot down towards them. Titan was able to fly upward into the sky to avoid the crushing bite as the Leviathan gave pursuit.

"But we can't give up." Illana tried to rally her friends. "No matter how powerful our enemy may be, we cannot stop when so many lives are depending on us! We're Avengers, and Avengers do not give up! Ever!" Titan stopped its flight as it glared down at the charging Leviathan.

"Got that right." Lance smirked as Titan formed a pair of dual blades in his hands.

"Agreed." Octus was on-board as well, just as Titan shot straight down to resume its battle against the Leviathan.

Meanwhile, one particular area of the ruined city of Atlantis may as well be a warzone as the remaining Avengers and their allies went all out against the small army of Shade Demons and Huntsclan ghosts. Rex in particular was among those who appeared to be having fun as he used his Smack Hands and Punk Busters to let loose on his magical adversaries; smacking and punching down any charging Shade Demon or Huntsclan ghosts while also driving his Punk Busters onto the ground to create small tremors to knock his enemies down. However, Rex was blasted in the back by a trio of Huntsclan ghosts with their staffs.

However, Rex was quickly able to recover as he formed his Block Party shields to block the lasers from the same three Huntsclan ghosts as well as four more that joined in. "These guys are tough." Rex commented as he formed his Slam Cannon in his other hand, loaded up on the ground, and opened fire on the pile of rubble most of the Huntsclan ghosts were standing in, causing it to crumble, destroying a few of the ghosts and giving Rex some breathing room. However, he still appeared to be surrounded as six Huntsclan ghosts leapt and surrounded him, each one brandishing their staffs.

"You guys don't quit, do ya?" Rex asked as he formed his BFS. "Well then, show me what you got." He challenged as he rushed to collide his massive blade against their staffs.

At the same time; a squad of seven Huntsclan ghosts opened fire on the charging Ben, wo was still in his Chromastone form. However, he took the blasts with no issue at all as he actually smirked. "Hey, thanks for the free ammo!" He used the absorbed energy to shoot multiple blasts from his crystals and hands at the seven ghosts, obliterating them, as well as a charging horde of flying Shade Demons. However, several Shade Demons flew down and manage to pile on top of Chromastone before more came down and began to pile on him in the form of a dark mass.

Fortunately, a bright green flash had blown away most of the Shade Demons as the rest reeled back to gaze upon Ben who had transformed from Chromastone into Heatblast. "What's the matter? Can't take the heat?" He extended the flames around his body, causing them to grow even brighter, the intense light instantly causing the Shade Demons to vanish.

Rose blocked and parried one staff strike from a Huntsclan ghost with her own staff before slicing off its head, causing the ghost to vanish before she leapt up on a pile of rocks and rubble, avoiding more laser fire from a group of five Huntsclan ghosts as she leapt up to the top of the pile, where three Shade Demons tried to get the jump on her. Rose was however prepared as she had already shined a glow from her Huntstaff, causing them to vanish from the light before she quickly turned and resumed fire with her staff, scoring precise hits on each Huntsclan ghost, causing them to vanish.

However, Rose didn't have the time to celebrate as she turned around to see an incoming laser blast heading her way. She tried to jump off her pile of rubble to avoid it, but once it hit the pile, it exploded, the shockwave knocking Rose onto the ground, causing her to skid. She tried to pull herself up as she looked at her attacker, though surprised at first, it turned into a hardened glare.

"Of course." She growled. "Somehow, I knew I'd see you."

The ghost of the Huntsman, the leader of the Huntsclan, and her former master, stood in front of her as he brandished his own Huntstaff and took a combat stance. Rose glared as she stood up and spun her own staff before she took a stance of her, making a hand-wave motion to 'bring it on' before the two rushed at each other and clashed their weapons.

Meanwhile, Danny Phantom flew through the air with a quartet of Shade Demons in hot pursuit, though he was quick to turn around and nail precise ecto-beam shots with his finger-guns, each hit caused the Shade Demon that was struck to vanish. He soon heard a scream coming from down below as he looked down to see Haley in serious trouble.

The young dragon found herself cornered and pinned as three Huntsclan ghosts held her to the ground as Chang loomed over her, aiming her staff at the girl.

"It's truly a pity you should die here." Chang commented in a false sense of sympathy as her staff charged with dark magic. "Such a tragic fate for one so young." However, Danny quickly came up and grabbed the staff, aiming it away from Haley as it fired and destroyed a pile of rubble nearby.

"Why don't you pick on somebody your own size?" Danny glared at Chang before he delivered an ecto-charged fist to her face to knock her down toward the ground before delivering a roundhouse to unleash a wave of ecto-energy to blast away the three Huntsclan ghosts that had pinned Haley to the ground.

"Thanks." Haley smiled.

"Don't mention it." Danny smiled back before glaring at the recovering Chang. "I got a problem with people picking on kids like that. What do you say we show this hag to the nearest retirement home?"

"Read my mind." Haley smirked as they both flew towards Chang who tried to unleash a stream of fire at them, which Danny countered with a beam of cryo-ecto energy, pitting his ice-powers against her fire-breath, while also leaving her open for Haley to come in and deliver a kick to her chest, knocking her back and letting Danny fly in to deliver multiple punches before pulling both his fists back and slamming them onto Chang's back to send her falling to the ground.

At the same time, the battle between Max and the ghost of the Atlantean Archmage was nothing short of spectacular and flashy as Max danced around the blasts of magic the hovering Archmage shot at him, while Max quickly shot into the air right to the Archmage's side to slam his cane, coated in his surging magical power, right into the ghostly enemy, causing him to crash right through an old building before Max shot through the hole he made to press the attack.

However, two massive stone hands shot from the ground to grab and halt Max's advance as the Archmage appeared to recover and press the stone hands together with the intent on crushing Max inside. However, a bright white light shinned in between the fingers before they exploded as Max rushed out of the rubble to appear right in front of the Archmage and deal multiple strikes with his fists and cane before slamming it up into his jaw to send the Archmage flying into the air, where Max shot in pursuit after him. He quickly conjured a trio of flames in his hands which he threw out, right before the expanded to create massive fireballs that shot at the hovering Archmage like a series of meteors. However, the Archmage erected a spherical shield of magical-seals around his body to block the fireballs before he shot bolts of dark magic from his hand at the flying Max, who flew easily enough to avoid them before he shot his cane forward to blast a point-blank bolt of lightning at the Archmage. Though his shield appeared to take the hit, it began to crack before it completely shattered just as the attack faded and Max appeared above the Archmage to slam his cane onto his forehead to send him crashing back towards the ground.

"Come on! Don't stop! This is the most fun I've ever had!" Max said with a wild laugh as he shot down at the Archmage.

Danny and Haley both looked towards the ongoing wizard battle with wide eyes. "Wow… that guy is something else." Danny observed.

"Guess being the reincarnation of Merlin and other powerful wizards has its benefits." Haley commented before she and Danny turned their attention back to the recovering Chang who shot back in the air to meet them.

"Last chance to call it quits." Danny told the former Dragon Councilor. "From the looks of things, your army isn't doing so well." He gestured towards his friends as Ben, still in his Heatblast form, and Rex appeared to be more than holding their own against the Huntsclan ghosts. The only one who seemed to be having trouble was Rose as she was engaged in a duel against the ghost of the Huntsman.

However, Chang merely chuckled as she shook her head. "And that is what's so great about having an undead army. Kill them as many times as you see fit, we'll just simply bring them back again." She channeled some of her magic power into the Necro-Amulet she still wore around her neck. The second she did, all the Huntsclan ghosts they've all destroyed so far had come back to life as though they were never destroyed to begin with, giving Ben and Rex that much of a harder time.

"Oh… yeah that is a problem." Danny winced as he and Haley flew to avoid the blasts from Chang's staff as well as her fire-breath.

Meanwhile, inside the temple, the Dark Dragon continued to blast streaks of dark fire at Kim and Zak, both backflipped to avoid the blasts as Zak used the Fang grappler to pull himself onto a ledge to avoid the blast while Jake flew straight at the Dark Dragon before unleashing his own fire-breath, which the Dark Dragon returned with his dark fire-breath, both breath-attacks collided and pressed against each other. While it seemed that the Dark Dragon's attack would overpower Jake's, it left him open for Ron to leap up onto the wall and from that straight to the Dark Dragon's back to deliver a kick to send him crashing to the ground.

However, the Dark Dragon was quick to get back up and blast another dark fire-breath at Ron, forcing him to leap and flip out of the way, allowing Kim to come in close. Once she was right under him, she leapt with her Battle Suit's enhanced strength to deliver an upper cut to his jaw, but he was quick to recover and swipe his claw at her as she came down to send her flying towards the wall, but Jake was quick to fly in and catch her before she made a hard impact. Zak used this opening to leap from his ledge onto the Dark Dragon's head as he extended both his Claw and Fang weapons to strike them onto the Dark Dragon's head like blunt weapons, irritating him as he flew up in the air to knock Zak off before he flipped and used the Claw's grappler to latch onto a wall to slow his descent as he landed on the ground in front of his gathered friends Jake, Kim, and Ron.

While airborne, the Dark Dragon unleashed another blast of dark fire from his mouth, but Zak aimed both the Claw and Fang as he fired their grapplers simultaneously, both hitting the dark fire as the matter-anti-matter bursts caused the dark fire to turn into water as it splashed onto the ground.

"Hmm, how interesting." The Dark Dragon mused as he hovered in the air. "Those aren't ordinary tools you possess." He took note of the Claw and Fang. "I might just use them myself, after I pry them from what's left of your carcass that is."

"Dream on, ugly!" Zak shouted.

"Cause you gotta go through the rest of us first!" Jake stated as he flew at the Dark Dragon, who quickly spun and swiped his large tail to knock Jake back before he unleashed a series of dark magic bolts at the group, forcing them to scatter, though the shockwaves from explosions did knock them down onto the ground.

"Ya know, I seem to remember this guy going down a lot easier last time!" Ron recalled.

"Probably because last time he saw us 'human pests' and didn't think we were worth the effort." Kim replied. "But now he's taking us seriously."

"Awesome!" Ron smirked. "About time the bad guys recognize the sturdiness that is known as the Ron-meister!"

"Uh Ron… when a big bad evil monster wants you dead and he's actually making an effort to see it happen, that's usually a bad thing." Zak pointed out.

Ron's elatedness quickly dropped as he looked in a moment of comic fright. "Oh… right."

Back outside, above the ocean's surface, Titan hovered above the water as he pulled out his bow and unleashed a series of explosive arrows on the Leviathan. More than a few arrows hit with explosive results, but this only seemed to irritate the Leviathan as it unleashed another magic-plasma beam from its mouth for devastating effects. Fortunately, Titan was able to avoid that as it shot at the Leviathan, drawing it sword again as it went toward the eyes for a slash, but the Leviathan quickly ducked its head before slamming it upward into Titan, sending him hurtling into the air.

Illana, Lance, and Octus all winced in pain as Titan tried to stabilize itself. "We're throwing everything we have at that monster and barley making a dent!" Lance exclaimed as the Leviathan flew up towards Titan, who was forced to fly deeper into the storm clouds to get some kind of cover.

"It has to have some kind of weakness!" Illana stated. "Something that can bring it down for good!"

"Its outer skin appears to be made of a rock-like substance that seems hardened to the point where it can't be penetrated." Octus observed. "We might be able to scratch and even chip away at it, it will be some time before we deal any significant damage."

"Wait, if its outer layer is hard, doesn't that mean its insides are vulnerable?" Illana wondered. "That's how it usually is for other earth-animals like turtles, crabs, or armadillos."

"What about that plasma-breath?" Lance voiced in realization. "Maybe there's a way we can use it to our advantage."

"Quite possibly." Octus deduced. "If an attack that powerful was directed at the Leviathan's insides, I have reason to believe it could cause irreparable damage to its internal organs, possibly even fatal."

"Great, but how do we do it?" Illana asked "We need to…" Suddenly, the Leviathan shot out of the storm clouds and bit onto Titan's side before the giant monster shot back down into the water, dragging the giant robot with it.

Back in the ruins, both Heatblast and Rex appeared to find themselves cornered as a small army of Huntsclan ghost soldiers had them almost completely surrounded before they opened fire with their staffs. Acting quickly, Ben switched from Heatblast to Diamondhead to form a wall of diamonds to block the attack.

At the same time, Rose was having some trouble against the ghost of the Huntsman as they continued to duel at the top of a ruined building. He and Rose continued to slash and parry their weapons against each other, with Rose leaping to deliver a strike with her bladed-staff, which the ghost of the Huntsman blocked with his staff before falling back to kick Rose in the chest and kick her over him, sending her crashing towards the ledge. She attempted to get back up, only to be further pinned down by the Huntsman's ghost's foot as he loomed over her, his eyes searing with vengeance as he readied his staff for the killing blow.

Danny tried to erect an ecto-sphere to shield himself and Haley as more than two dozen Huntsclan ghosts aimed their Huntstaffs and fired their lasers at him. Danny did his best to keep the shield together, but it was already cracking from the intense pressure, which the sadistic Chang was more than happy to finish herself as she shot her staff forward with a bolt of dark magic to obliterate the sphere to send Danny and Haley crashing to the ground.

"Crap… they're having trouble!" Max muttered to himself as he quickly erected a magic shield to block the dark bolts from the Archmage who conjured a massive green flame over his head before he unleashed it at Max, who was quick to bring up a rock-shield from the ground, snap his fingers and turn it into sand just as the flames it to turn it into glass. Max then shattered the glass and used his magic to send a hail of razor-sharp glass shards at the Archmage ghost, who was quick to erect his own magic barrier to turn the glass shards into dust once they passed through.

"And I don't think he's gonna give me time to help them. Damn it." Max continued to mutter as their situation was not looking good.

Danny had already pulled himself up from the crater he was in, while also carrying onto Haley, who looked more than a little tired herself. However, they would soon find themselves surrounded by multiple Huntsclan ghosts and Chang who continued to hover over them.

"A valiant effort, to you and your teammates, young warrior, but all in vein." Chang mocked as Danny glared while standing protectively in front of the downed and weakened Haley. "Any final words, boy?"

However, before Danny could offer a response, a swirling magical portal had opened up in front of Chang as a blast of flame shot out to blast her back, the one who shot the attack was none other than Lao-Shin in his dragon form as he stepped out.

"Grandpa!" Haley exclaimed with joy.

"I have something I wish to say." Lao-Shi glared at the shocked Chang. "ATTACK!" With that declaration; nearly over a hundred dragons rapidly shot out of the portal and immediately engaged the Huntsclan ghosts with their claws and fire-breath, which they rained down as they flew over the sky, including Sun Park as she lead a squad of dragons to engage the Huntsclan ghosts that had Rex and Diamondhead cornered.

"You kids okay?" Fu Dog asked as he quickly came onto the scene. "Sorry for the wait, ain't exactly easy calling in pretty much every dragon in the world on such short notice."

"We're good, and thanks Fido." Rex said with a smile.

"Wow, talk about the calvary." Diamondhead said with a relieved smile.

"What do you say we help them clean things up then?" Rex smirked as Diamondhead smirked back before forming two large diamond-blades in his arms while Rex formed his Bad-Axes as they charged forward as well.

"Oooh, this is gonna be good." Fu Dog got a seat on some rubble and already pulled out a bag of popcorn as he watched the battle unfold in front of him.

At the same time, Rose couldn't help but look in surprise as she saw the arrival of all the world's Dragons, turning the battle in her and her allies' favor. However, this did little to stop the ghost of the Huntsman from brining his blade down toward her, but he didn't get the chance to land it as a blast of blue flame knocked him back across the roof; curtsey of Fred Nerk, the Australian Dragon who carried the two humans Spud and Trixie with him.

"Nice shot boy." Trixie complemented as Fred set them down on the roof next to the surprised Rose.

"We got this, now go help your dragon buddies." Spud told Fred.

"You got it mate." The Australian Dragon gave a finger-salute as he flew back down toward the battle.

"Yo, need a hand girl?" Trixie offered her hand to Rose, and while she was still surprised, she didn't hesitate to accept it.

"Trixie? Spud? How…?" Rose stuttered.

"Fu Dog gave us the four-one-one." Spud summed up. "The Dark Dragon is back, so Jake and his superhero team are going to Atlantis to stop some super monster from destroying the planet, so we're here to help." The trio then turned to see the ghost of the Huntsman stand back up on his feet. "Hey, isn't that the Huntsman?" Spud asked aloud.

"Ain't he supposed to be dead?" Trixie asked.

"Technically he still is." Rose said. "That's his ghost that Chang brought back with an amulet that can raise the dead."

"Dragons and superheroes fighting ghosts and zombies?" Spud wondered before a wide smile formed on his face. "OMG that is so awesome!"

"Hey, look I appreciate you guys wanting to help, but you weren't exactly a match for the Huntsman when he was alive. I don't know if you can stop him when he's undead." Rose put in as she wielded her Huntstaff.

"See, that's the thing girl." Trixie replied. "Before we came here, Fu Dog gave us some serious magical mojo." She literally pulled out some magic from her pocket which she threw over herself and Spud before they were surrounded with a glowing magic aura.

"So, what do you say we show the Huntsman's ghost what it feels like to be on the receiving end of your staff and our sneakers?" Spud asked Rose with a smirk, which Rose shared with a smirk of her own.

"Let's do it." The trio then charged at the Huntsman's ghost.

Meanwhile; Chang tried to blast her staff's power at the flying Lao-Shi, but he avoided all the blasts before appearing in front of her to smack his tail at her and knock her down toward Danny Phantom who shot at her like a bullet to lay a series of punches before Haley shot above him to blast her with a point-blank fire attack to knock her down. She tried to pull herself back up and blast with her staff; but Lao-Shi and Haley combined their fire-breath with Danny's ecto-beams to not only intercept but even overpower her attack, creating an explosion that sent her skidding across the ground.

"Surrender Chang!" Lao-Shi told her as the trio hovered over her. "It is over!"

However, despite being injured, Chang chuckled. "Oh Lao-Shi, still foolish as ever. So long as I have…" She tried to reach to her chest, only to find that the amulet that was previously around her neck was missing. "What… where… where is the Necro-Amulet?!"

"Oh, you mean, that amulet?" Danny pointed behind her with a smirk to see none other than Rufus standing on a small pile of rubble with the amulet in hand as he spat his tongue out at Chang.

"Please." Chang scoffed. "What can one rodent do? There is no mortal weapon or magical means to destroy that amulet! Why do you think it was hidden away in the first place?"

"No magic, huh?" Danny maintained his smirk as his right hand charged with ecto-energy. "Good thing I don't have any. Rufus, time to play frisbee!"

Rufus gave an affirmative squeak as he threw the amulet in the air, which Danny shot with a powerful ecto-beam that shattered and destroyed the Necro-Amulet, much to Chang's horror.

"NOOOOOO!" She shouted as once the amulet was destroyed, all the Huntsclan ghosts in the area vanished entirely, including the ghost of the Huntsman whom Spud, Trixie, and Rose were fighting, and even the ghost of the Archmage of Atlantis, whom Max was ready to finish himself, but despite that, he still smirked as he adjusted his sun glasses.

"How… how did you…?" Chang stuttered as she looked to Danny who blew the smoke from his fist cowboy style.

"An amulet that can control the dead, ghost powers, you do the math." Danny said before flying and decking Chang across her face to send her flying and crashing into a ruined building.

"Nice hook." Haley smirked.

"Yes, and your abilities themselves are quite fascinating." Lao-Shi complemented as well.

"Save the praise, we're not done yet." Danny got back to the situation. "The Leviathan is…"

Suddenly, a loud roar echoed through the ruins of Atlantis, as well as the ocean around it as they looked out the dome to see, at least twenty miles away, Titan still wrestling with the Leviathan. Despite the distance, the battle between the giants had drawn the attention of every Avenger, dragon, human, or otherwise in the area.

"Is that… the Leviathan…?!" Sun exclaimed as she, Fu, Rose, Spud, and Trixie regrouped with Danny, Lao-Shi, Haley, and Rufus, along with Max, Rex, and Diamondhead who turned back into Ben.

"And call me crazy… but is that thing fighting a giant robot?!" Trixie questioned.

"Titan, it's called Titan." Danny said.

"Basically, three of our teammates have special armor that lets them combine into our personal weapon of mass destruction and awesomeness." Rex smirked.

"First Jake is on a team of superheroes, now they've got their own giant fighting robot?!" Spud practically squealed. "Just when I thought this day can't get any more awesome!"

Within the ocean; Titan was able to free itself from the Leviathan's jaw as it seemed to prepare another plasma-attack as the bright blue energy in its mouth only glowed brighter, something Titan quickly noticed.

"It's planning another attack." Octus informed.

"Wait that's it!" Lance saw their opportunity. "We have to keep its mouth shut!" Titan shot itself directly at the Leviathan and wrapped its arms around its mouth to keep its jaw shut as it continued to build up its massive plasma-breath attack. The Leviathan gave a muffled roar as it thrashed to shake Titan off.

"We have to hold it! We can't let go!" Illana exclaimed as Titan produced its kusarigami weapon, which almost automatically wrapped itself around the Leviathan's jaw to tighten it even further as the plasma built up more and more, the bright blue light shining from its jaws until it couldn't be contained anymore.

*BOOM!*

It was almost the equivalent of a magical atomic explosion as a bright blue flash of light forced everyone to shield their eyes inside the dome containing the ruined city of Atlantis. When the flash subsided, all the Avengers present and their many allies, looked in complete and utter shock at the sight of the water that had been blown away before gravity pulled the ocean back in rather violently, it was a wonder that the dome didn't collapse from all the pressure, or even from the explosion itself. But that wasn't what shocked them the most.

No, it was Titan, standing victoriously, as more than half of the Leviathan had been blown away; leaving only the broken and mutilated form of its lower half as it stood proudly, despite appearing rather damaged.

"Hell yeah! That's what I'm taking about!" Ben exclaimed as he, Rex, and Danny all shared a high-five as Rufus danced on their shoulders. And it wasn't long before all the dragons in the area all cheered and roared in victory, some even shot their fire-breath into the air in the form of a celebration, even Spud and Trixie all screamed in joy as they threw their arms around Rose's shoulder in a surprise embrace, which she was more than happy to give. Meanwhile, Lao-Shi, Sun, Haley, Fu, and even Max were more than a little surprised.

"They… they killed the Leviathan…" Sun stuttered.

"Unbelievable and yet… truly incredible…" Lao-Shi was in a state of complete awe.

"I gotta tell ya, Jake fell in with one awesome crowd." Fu said with a smirk.

"Tell me about it." Haley nodded. "That Titan-thing, heck, all these guys are freaking awesome!"

"Haley, watch your language!" Sun scolded slightly.

"What? 'Freaking' is not a swear word?" The young dragon complained.

Back inside the temple; Zak was standing on a perch as the cables of the Claw and Fang tangled themselves around the Dark Dragon's neck, temporarily immobilizing him and allowing Jake, Kim, and Ron to soar in and deliver a triple kick to his chest, their combined strength was enough to send him tumbling into a wall, which collapse to reveal four certain individuals who were currently held in chains, and despite being unconscious and heavily injured, were still alive.

"It's the Dragon Council!" Jake exclaimed in surprise as the Dark Dragon began to recover.

"Master!" All their eyes were directed to the hole in the roof as the injured Chang attempted to fly in. "The Leviathan! It has been…!"

She was interrupted by a green energy blast from the back, curtsey of Danny Phantom, as she fell to the ground before the entire roof vanished in a puff of smoke, revealing the culprit to be none other than Max who stood confidentially on a cloud of sparkles with Rose, Spud, Trixie, and Fu Dog standing on the cloud beside him as he and Danny hovered in the air along with all the world's Dragons, including Haley, Lao-Shi, and Sun Park, even Fred Nerk. They were also joined by Rex on his Boogie Pack with Rufus on his shoulders, Ben in his Jetray appearance, even the hovering Octus, Illana in her Corus armor, and Lance in his Manus armor.

"I take it you guys are all finished on your end." Kim smirked as she, Jake, Ron, and Zak all had a good idea that they had won this fight.

"Yep, the Leviathan's dead…." Rex began.

"And that fancy amulet and the undead army are kaput." Danny finished.

"Which leaves us with only one problem left to contend with." Illana said as all eyes set upon the Dark Dragon who collected his unconscious servant.

"It's over, Dark Dragon." Jake glared. "You've lost."

The evil beast growled. "I may have lost the battle, but the war has only begun. We shall meet again, Avengers!" He raised his free claw to unleash a flash of dark energy, blinding everyone before they all looked in shock to see that once the flash had subsided, the Dark Dragon had vanished.

"Whoa, where'd he go?!" Jetray exclaimed.

However, it was quick for them all to deduce that wherever he was, he wasn't any place near them. "Should we try and track him?" Zak asked.

"No, my guess he's long gone." Jake assumed. "But I have a feeling we'll see him again real soon."

Not long after that, the Dragon Council was safely transported back to the Isle of Draco to get their wounds treated. Once all the world's Dragons had been returned to their respective homes; Max had offered the whole team and Jake's friends a free pizza-dinner at nearby restaurant in New York, which they were all happy to accept.

The large party consisting of Jake, Rose, Danny, Haley, Ben, Rex, Zak, Kim, Ron, Illana, Newton, Lance, Max, Lao-Shi, Spud, even Sun were in a celebratory mood as they helped themselves to the pizza and soda that was offered to them; even Rufus and Fu Dog were given a pizza of their own, which they ate underneath the table.

"Let me tell ya buddy, this is the life." Fu Dog said to Rufus as he ate a slice. "Fighting bad guys and eating good food. It doesn't get much better than this."

"Hmm, yep." Rufus nodded as he dove into a plate of pizza sauce.

"So, you're a real princess!?" Trixie practically screamed with joy as she sat next to Illana.

"Yes, I am." Illana confirmed.

"OMG! I have to get a selfie!" Trixie quickly pulled out her cellphone as she took the picture.

"Okay; so, let me get this straight." Spud said as he spoke to Ben, Ron, and Rex. "Your entire team consists of a dragon, a half-ghost, a guy who can turn into dozens of aliens, another guy who can build machines from his body, another guy who's got magic telepathic powers, the one and only Kim Possible and her monkey-kung-fu boyfriend, two aliens with mech suits, and a robot who can combine said mech suits into a giant Kaiju-sized robot?"

"Bingo." Ben confirmed.

"Dude… that is literally the coolest thing I have ever heard!" Spud exclaimed with a wide grin.

"Yeah, our team is pretty awesome ain't it?" Ron shared a double fist-bump with Rex and Ben.

"I so wanna see more of you dudes in action!" Spud cheered like a fanboy.

"I think we can manage that." Rex gave a smirk.

"Kur powers, huh?" Max asked as he and Lao-Shi wanted to learn about Zak's own magic abilities.

"Yep, I'm basically the reincarnation of an ancient evil crytpid." Zak gave the gist of it. "Don't worry, I got it under control."

"Hmm, a certainly powerful magic if you were able to fend off the Dark Dragon's control over the magical guardians." Lao-Shi mused.

"So, we're good for a training session next week?" Kim asked Rose.

"Provided we're not called in to deal with the apocalypse of the week." Rose joked, resulting in them both laughing.

"You're in the military where you come from?" Sun asked Lance, as he sat with Octus.

"Yes, I am." Lance confirmed. "Though I have to admit, what you have with your dragons is rather impressive."

"If you like, I could share some information on Galaluna's military tactics to see if that can help improve that of the dragons." Newton proposed.

"Sounds like a good idea." Sun nodded.

"No sign of the Dark Dragon?" Jake asked as he, Danny, and Haley sat next to Max.

"Nope, and still no idea how he escaped that temple either." Max confirmed.

Haley and Danny both noticed the contemplating look on Jake's face. "Hey bro, let's forget about that jerk." Haley told her brother. "If he comes around again, we'll beat him into next week!"

"That's right." Danny confirmed. "How many bad guys have we taken down since we formed this team? And how many times did we win? Answer: all of them. No matter what comes our way, we can beat it, and if we need help, we all have friends and family who can provide a helping hand."

That seemed to cheer up Jake quite a bit. "You know what? You're right. We're the Avengers! When we assemble, bad guys go down!" Jake raised his glass of soda for a toast. "To the Avengers and their many friends across the multiverse!"

"To the Avengers and friends!" Everyone at the table cheered as they clinked their glasses together and continued celebrating.

Meanwhile, in an unknown location, the Dark Dragon stepped out of a swirling white portal as he was addressed by an unknown individual.

"So, can I assume that the Avengers were victorious?"

"Indeed." The Dark Dragon confirmed. "They destroyed the Leviathan, the strongest magical creature in my world."

"Now I'm sure you can understand the necessity of our own alliance." General Modula said as he stepped out of the shadows to address the Dark Dragon directly. "We have each tested them in our own way, and we all now realize how much of a threat they are together."

"A threat that can only be matched by our own combined force." A third voice, one belonging to none other than Vlad Masters as he revealed himself as well.

"Of course, we weren't just testing them." Up next was Dr. Drakken as he stepped up as well. "Some of us did a little work to get what we need to build our own secret weapon."

"And with our own allies and subordinates, we have what we need to begin our project." The fifth individual, revealed to be Van Kleiss as he walked forward as well.

"It is true, Project Goliath is underway as we speak." The towering form of Vilgax stepped up.

"And such an unveil it will be." V.V. Argost announced dramatically as he stepped out of the shadows as well. "But not as much as the looks on our dearly beloved foes' faces once they see our own unity."

"Indeed." Modula confirmed with an evil smile as he stood with all his allies. "The Avengers believe they have won all their battles, but they've only been tested, or have been blinded to our true objectives. Soon, we will reveal ourselves to them. Soon, they, and perhaps the entire multiverse will tremble under the might of the Cabal!"

The End.

And so ends Episode 8. Though the Avengers and their friends were successful in defeating the Leviathan and stopping the Dark Dragon's objective, it was really just a test to see what the Avengers were capable of.

Now we finally see our series' main antagonists: The Cabal! Founded by General Modula and consisting of himself, Vlad Masters, Dr. Drakken, Vilgax, the Dark Dragon, V.V. Argost, and Van Kleiss have their own plan in mind that they are working on with their allies. All their battles against the Avengers was really their way of testing them, while also working in the shadows to form their own plan, but what exactly is Project Goliath? Find out as the next episode is the season finale of Avengers of the Multiverse!

I thank you all once again for your patience and support with me on this journey. I promise to have the next episode out relatively soon, but I intend to take a small break. Don't worry, it won't last long. Until then, stay safe and stay healthy out there. Peace out.
