Disclaimer:

"Bananabelle Davidson" is a story I wrote years ago on a different FanFiction account, under the name "ballerinastar7," but after forgetting my login info and repeatedly attempting to contact Support for help—to no avail, I've decided to start a new account. With it, I've decided to edit this old story, and republish it with my new changes.

Chapter Eight:

Life Goes On

"Goodbye, Annabelle!" Felicity and Elizabeth waved, as Lord Harry Lacey's carriage carried the newlyweds to the ship that would take them back to England. It had been nearly six months since Annabelle and Ben's almost-wedding, in which time, Annabelle had eventually accepted Harry's second proposal.

"Felicity, can you imagine what it will be like when we become engaged? Suppose we both find our beaus at the same time—why, we could have a double wedding!" Elizabeth daydreamed.

"Please don't let's think of that for a few years at least," Felicity said decisively. "Between the three weddings we've planned for Annabelle, I think I've endured enough talk of flowers, bows, gowns, and cakes to last me a lifetime!" Felicity laughed.

"Oh Lissie," Elizabeth laughed, "Don't you ever mean to get married?"

"Of course I do! Just not tomorrow," Felicity teased.

"Oh good," Ben piped in from behind. Felicity whirled around. "You had me scared for a moment there," Ben winked.

Felicity suddenly felt butterflies began fluttering their wings inside her stomach as a warm feeling entered her heart. Elizabeth giggled as Felicity slowly grinned back at Ben.
