So, I suck. Like a lot. School's rough, I had ANOTHER writer's block, and my brother managed to get me grounded, so, yeah, hating me is acceptable. But I beg on hands and knees for your forgiveness. And before you'll decide to murder me, let's begin!

Owen was working on his motorcycle when the white van pulled up in front of the small house. Rena who was a dinosaur watching from the top of a nearby tree looked down before swinging down to the ground.

"Mr. Grady," Claire greeted.

Owen looked up, "Claire." Rena snickered from the doorway where she had put her binoculars.

Both of the adults ignored her.

"I need to talk to you," Claire said

"Would you like to talk out here or in my bungalow?"

Rena was torn between laughing or smacking him.

"That's not funny." Claire deadpanned.

"It's kind of funny," Owen said with a chuckle.

"It's more disturbing than funny." Rena cut it, both of them ignored her.

"We need to talk about the new asset."

Rena perked up, she hadn't heard anything about any "new asset".

"Asset? Dinosaurs aren't machines, Claire, they're alive."

"I am very aware that they are alive."

"And yet you talk about them like they're not, I mean I get it, you've gotta run this whole shebang and it's probably easier to talk about them like they're just numbers on a spreadsheet. But they're alive. Their thinking, I gotta eat, I gotta hunt, I gotta…" he made a sexual motion with her hands, Rena facepalmed, Claire, ignored both. "You can understand at least, one of those things, right?"

"Mr. Masriani wants you to come to look at the cage, he thinks that since you're able to control the raptors-"

"We don't control the raptors, It's a mutual relationship based on trust and respect."

Claire just looked at him for a while before saying, "I'll be in the car, and you might want to change your shirt, it's very sensitive to smell." She started walking back towards her van, Owen unconsciously sniffed himself

"Rena do think I smell?" Owen asked his niece as they both entered the small house.

"You want the truth or what you want to hear?"

Owen went to go change his shirt.

"You coming kid? Owen asked when he came back from changing his clothes.

She raised an eyebrow at him, "It's my day off remember? I'm spending the rest of my day in the valley."

"You know who to call if you need anything."

She smirked slightly, "Who? The Ghostbusters?"

Her uncle ruffled her hair playfully, "Me. Don't do anything stupid."

"I make no promises."

The two Grady's exited the house, the older man heading toward the white van, and the younger girl headed in the opposite direction toward Gyrosphere Valley.

Rena did indeed spend the next hour or so in the valley. She mostly sketched the dinosaurs that came through, sometimes just the jungle, she had gotten very good from all of her practice with the pencil. After a while she knew that she should head back, she had run out of species to draw anyway.

She had walked for about 5 minutes before her phone started ringing.

The caller ID confirmed it to be her uncle. She did not particularly want to get grounded for not answering her phone, she was getting tired of sneaking out her window, so she answered it.

"What's up."

"Rena now is not the time for games. Where are you?"

"Headed home, why?" She was honestly confused.

"We have code 19."

Rena stopped in her tracks and went pale, "What?"

"You heard me, we also don't know where Claire's nephews are but the last time we heard they were in Gyrosphere Valley."

Most of Rena's attention was caught by something that was definitely not supposed to be there,

"Hey, Claire?"

"Yeah," instead Claire answered this time.

"Would your nephews be stupid enough to go into a restricted area if the gate was open?"

There was a pause before, "Oh shit."

Rena has her answer, "Well, I guess I know what I have to do now."

Now it was Claire's turn to be confused, "What?"

"A whole lot of stupid shit," was the only answer that Rena gave her. Leaving no time for her uncle to protest, Rena hung up, stuffed her phone into her pocket, and ran right through the open gate of the restricted area.

Sorry for the short chapter, but I thought it would be a good place to end it plus school is hard and so is life in general. I'll try and update as soon as possible.
