Hello everyone! Here it is! You'll see where I get the title for the story in this chapter if you pay attention, close attention. I'm not going to answer the reviews for my last story but I do want to say to Jo and Zay Zay(may be known as Smiley) that they are awesomesauce for sticking with me and that this entire story is dedicated to them. And that they don't have to kill me because the story is up. Also want to tell them that I read every single one of their reviews and found several of them hysterical. Now... well I'll do the disclaimer and then start the story.

Disclaimer: Guess what I own!? Not the Sisters Grimm, that's right.

Read on, readers(again seems a little redundant but I am not creative at all)

Sabrina Grimm had just finished getting dressed and pulling on her shoes when she felt a yanking sensation in her gut and disappeared from her bedroom.

Daphne Grimm was mid-bite when she up and vanished from the kitchen of the Grimm household.

Little Red Riding Hood was sketching the outside of the Grimm house when her pencil clattered to the ground and an easel was left unattended in the front yard. Red, too, was gone.

Veronica Grimm was chatting with Relda Grimm when both women disappeared from the living room.

Henry Grimm and Basil were racing when, just about to cross the finish line, they were gone.

Mr. Canis was meditating when he felt a falling sensation and disappeared from his bedroom.

Jake was just opening his eyes when he saw Puck about to click the button on the new artifact they'd collected. Too late Puck hit the button and both men vanished from their hotel room in France.

The scene was utter chaos. People were yelling and cursing each other relentlessly. The Grimms were furious. Jake whistled loudly and quieted them.

"It was Puck's fault that we are locked in this tiny room. Kill him,"Jake suggested. The Grimms had been transported to a small, metal room with just enough seats for all of them.

Puck got very lucky for just as Sabrina was about to punch him a loud clunk sounded as a box appeared out of nowhere. Sabrina was so startled that she backed away from Puck and towards the box. She said, "Daphne, stay back." And carefully opened the box, it contained 9 books. And a laptop.

Sabrina picked up the topmost book, "The Sisters Grimm, Book 1."

"Us?"Daphne asked, bewildered.

"Us,"Sabrina confirmed.

"Someone wrote a book series about you?"Veronica asked.

"I guess so,"Daphne said, a little nervously. Sabrina opened the book and a piece of paper floated to the floor. Red swooped down and picked it up.

"It says," Red said, "Read the books first and then more instruction will come, you will be stuck until you do. P and S; sorry."

"P and S? Puck and Sabrina?"Relda guessed.

"I think so, and I think I know why,"Sabrina said, she and Puck exchanged a quick look before scooting away from each other.

"Why?"Jake asked.

"You'll see,"Puck said grimly.

"That bad?"Daphne asked.

"Yep,"her older sister replied.

"Should we read them?"Henry queried.

"Unless you want to be stuck in the house forever,"Canis answered.

"I think I'll enjoy seeing 'brina and Daph's adventures,"Basil piped up.

"I can start, if you want,"Veronica volunteered.

"Go ahead,"Sabrina handed over the book and sat down in one of the chairs. The rest of the family followed suit and Veronica began to read.

The Dense Forest Branches

scratched at their faces and arms, but Sabrina and Daphne couldn't stop running, though they had long since passed the point of exhaustion. Fear was fueling each step now.

Another thunderous bellow rang in the distance, followed by the terrible sound of falling trees and shrieking animals.

"Cool! Cool!"Basil squealed.

"Not when you're the one it's chasing,"Sabrina answered, and then her mother continued.

"We have to find a way to stop it," Daphne cried between gasps.

Sabrina knew her little sister was right. But how? They were only two children versus a monster.

"I'll think of something,"Sabrina said, dragging her sister behind an enormous oak tree for a much- needed rest. Sabrina squeezed her sister's hand to reassure her, while she forced oxygen into her own burning lungs. Her words were empty. She didn't have a plan. The only going on in her head was the thumping of blood roaring through her eardrums.

Puck guffawed at this, "You just admitted you were stupid!"

"I did not, you idiot. I said I had no idea how to fight a giant, not like you were much help,"Sabrina snapped.

"I wasn't there!"Puck argued.

"Point, made,"Sabrina responded.

"Enough! Let Mom finish,"Daphne interrupted loudly. The two teens promptly shut up.

But it made no difference. It had found them. Splintering wood and damp soil rained from the sky as the tree they stood next to was violently uprooted.

The two girls looked up into the horrible face above them and felt hot breath blow through their hair.

"Oh no! How did you ever escape from that?"Red exclaimed.

"You'll see,"Relda said proudly.

"They are much more resourceful than they look,"Veronica told her, smiling.

"Especially Sabrina."Henry chimed in.

"So is Daph. Now continue,"Sabrina said, not even swayed a little by the praise.

What's happened to our lives? Sabrina wondered. When had their world become unrecognizable? And what had happened to her, the eleven-year-old girl who only two days ago had been just an orphan on a train?

"Orphan?"Jake asked.

"Well, we were. We thought Mom and Dad had abandoned us or were dead, making us orphans,"Sabrina said briskly. Everyone recognized this tone as one of annoyance so no one spoke.

Chapter One:

I'm going to die of boredom here, Sabrina Grimm thought as she looked out the train window at Ferryport Landing, New York.

"Wait what? I thought I was going to see myself have to rescue you!"Puck complained.

"Uh, excuse me, but I'm the one who killed the giant,"Sabrina reminded him.

"Accidentally,"Mr. Canis put in.

"Well… yeah, I was more focused on getting... It doesn't matter why I killed it, what matters is that you didn't come in until it was perfectly safe,"Sabrina snapped.

"He did rescue us from Jack, liebling,"Relda reminded her.

"Mr. Canis did that,"Sabrina said, a little angrily.

"From the giants, Jack was trying to release, she meant,"Daphne said soothingly. Oddly enough Daphne and Red seemed to have the most calming effect on the blonde girl and she relaxed.

The little town in the distance seemed to be mostly hills and trees next to the cold, gray Hudson River. A few two —and three-story brownstone buildings huddled around what appeared to be the town's only street. Beyond it were endless acres of evergreen forest. Sabrina could see no malls, or museums, and felt using the word town to describe Ferryport Landing was a bit of a stretch.

"Hey!"Puck whined.

"Just because it was a bit small doesn't mean it was bad!"Red said softly.

"I was wrong, I really was. Ferryport Landing is anything but boring,"she laughed a little and gestured for her mother to continue.

.Worse than the town was the weather. It was raining and rain always made Sabrina melancholy. She tucked her long blonde hair behind her ear and turned her head away from the window, promising herself that she would be strong and not let her sister see her cry. She had to be the strong one; after all, she was almost twelve years old.

"Oh, liebling,"Granny said sympathetically. Sabrina squirmed at all the eyes under her and brushed her hair behind her hair before freezing.

"Is that a nervous habit?"Puck, of all people, asked.

"What?"Sabrina asked.

"He means when you tuck your hair behind your ear,"Jake explained.

"I guess I started doing it after we entered the orphanage,"Sabrina said.

"Why?"Henry asked.

"Don't you remember? Two days before you guys went missing Mom cut Sabrina's hair,"Daphne said, placing a hand over her sister's comfortingly.

"Oh sweetheart,"Veronica sighed, "I'm sorry."

"Maybe you should continue the story,"Red said after noticing Sabrina's uncomfortable expression.

Not that Daphne would've noticed her tears. Sabrina's seven-year-old sister had had her face pressed against the window throughout the two-hour trip. Daphne had marveled at each ugly little spot on the map they rolled through, taking a break from the view only to ask the occasional question about their destination.

"That's Marshmallow alright,"Puck said with a grin.

"It was somewhere new,"Daphne shrugged.

"You always did love your adventures,"Henry said with a chuckle.

"Ferryport Landing is certainly that,"Granny said with a full on laugh.

"Do they have bagels in Ferryport Landing, Ms. Smirt?"Daphne now asked the woman sitting across from them. Ms. Minerva Smirt was the girls' caseworker. She was a pinch-lipped, humorless woman in her late fifties.

"I don't like that woman,"Mr. Canis said gruffly.

"Why not?"Basil asked innocently.

"She wasn't very nice,"Red had heard enough about Smirt to answer that question.

"Especially to Sabrina and I,"Daphne finished.

"Then I don't like her either,"Basil decided.

"Neither do I, Baz,"Puck confided.

"You don't?"Veronica asked. Puck froze.

"Uh… continue the story, will you?"

She had had her hooked nose buried in a book for the entire train ride. Sabrina knew she was reading only so she wouldn't have to talk to them. Ms. Smirt looked up at Daphne with an annoyed scowl and sighed as if the question was more than she could bear.

"Of course they have bagels. They have bagels everywhere," Ms. Smirt snapped.

"Not on the moon," Daphne replied matter-of-factly as she returned her gaze to the window.

Ms. Smirt snarled, which caused Sabrina to snicker. Watching Daphne drive Ms. Smirt crazy was one of Sabrina's favorite pastimes.

Sabrina looked, slightly dreamily, up at the ceiling. "It really was."

"Okay, now I hate this woman,"Henry volunteered.

"I don't like her so much, either,"Relda admitted.

"I never liked her,"Jake chimed in.

"She had an evil smell around her,"Mr. Canis said calmly.

Smirt had made a mistake when she chose a career working with children, Sabrina thought, especially since she didn't seem to like them. Ms. Smirt complained when she had to touch their sticky hands or wipe their runny noses, and reading bedtime stories was completely out of the question.

"Mommy does all those things for me,"Basil said with a grin.

"Well, you know Baz, Mom and Dad weren't around to do that stuff for me and Daphne. They were taken away when we were young, you know that,"Sabrina said gently.

"I also know it makes you sad, you talk about it in your sleep,"Basil said with his wide eyes.

Sabrina stilled, "How do you know that?"

"I had a bad dream so I went into your room to talk to you but you were crying in your sleep and talking,"Basil explained.

Sabrina ducked her head, "I didn't know you saw that. I just have some bad dreams, sometimes, that's all."

Daphne hugged her sister and Red squeezed Sabrina's hand.

"Why didn't you tell us?"Relda asked.

"Let's just get on with it, alright? I'm fine, the nightmares have stopped,"Sabrina said shortly.

"Do it, Mom,"Daphne requested. Veronica acquiesced. Puck, however, barely heard the words as he focused on Sabrina. He knew she'd had a hard time after the war but that was years ago, he had no idea the dreams were still happening.

I couldn't seem to find the right way to cut it off so I just did it here, sorry if it's a little abrupt. I hope it was good, if not I might rewrite it. I hope everyone likes it! This was just the first chapter and I'll get my balance very soon and develop everything. And yes, I will have them read Trouble in (the opposite of) Paradise and Snow Storm. Maybe Birthday Proposal too so that I could have Puck being ridiculous and Sabrina annoyed... that has promise.

On another note, QoTD- If you could choose one SG ship to make happen, which would it be? Even an odd one.

Anyway, please review and come back to read the next chapter! Bye!
