Liz spat some blood, knowing she didn't have much more fight in her. This asshole who appeared suddenly on her door had been making fun of her this whole time, tiring her, making her lose focus on the fight.

The stranger didn't share much information, and when he did it was in a joking manner, like he didn't think the information was important at all. And it wasn't - he only confirmed what she suspected. This was a pureblood from a land far away, and he wanted the baby to return it - 'it' not 'he' - to his coven leader. He also was old-fashioned, as he didn't stop calling her "halfling", a term so outdated since turned vampires, like her, mixed with purebloods. Nowadays vampires stopped considering her kind, turned ones, "second class" vampires.

"Give up, half-breed," he went on and on, "you are no match."

She jumped anyway, earning a hit to her chest that launched her to the other side of the farm and straight to a tree. Her back made a horrible crunch sound, and she knew her spine was broken in at least two places.

Her legs wouldn't move.

Liz looked desperately at where Sebastian had run to before, after many attempts at escaping the farm with Liam thwarted by the stranger. The human looked at her, hidden in some overgrowth, crawling as fast as he could towards the path at the south of her farm. Where was he going?

It was like a lightbulb lit over her head. The Wizard! That man was weird but he seemed legit. She hoped he could help.

She tried her legs again, and they worked now. Bless her timing and having fed so recently, or she wouldn't have been able to pull this stunt.

"I may be no match," she answered as the pureblood approached her, maybe to finish her. "But I won't let you touch that baby."

The vampire smirked down at her before grabbing her hair, lifting her up to his eye level.

"You are brave, but that's not enough. I know you are trying to give the human time to get away," she hissed through her teeth when his fist clenched around her hair, pulling at the roots, hard. "That, also, is not enough. His weak legs will not get him far, and once I'm done with you his life will be forfeit. A pity," he added, "he smelled quite good."

She took a breath as if she were to answer with another bullshit to stall the pureblood, but she instead lifted her fully working legs and tangled them around his shoulders. Not wanting to lose momentum and the surprise factor, she launched towards his neck and bit hard and fast, feeling the warm blood flow and spraying her front.

The pureblood screamed and thrashed around, but her grip and her bite was iron solid. She had to try and kill this vampire here, or at the very least contain him enough to let help arrive on time.

She hoped that Sebastian could run fast.

"You little bitch!" the pureblood screamed before slamming himself, and by extension her, against a tree. She shrieked in pain but didn't let go. "You do not understand the forces after that infant!" He slammed his back against another tree.

"He is my nephew!" she choked.

The vampire growled. "It belongs to my master, you defective bastard!" He slammed again and Liz felt her right leg break in two. She cried in pain and her grip loosened just enough to let the pureblood throw her to the pond in the middle of her propriety.

She emerged fast, but the hand she put on the border of the pond was crushed under a polished black shoe.

"Give up."

"No," she spat, looking up at the vampire. "Never."

"Then die."

He picked her up again by her hair, but her body hurt so much in so many places that she couldn't fight as much as she wanted. When she was eye to eye with the pureblood, she noticed how they were unnaturally green.

She wondered, as she looked at the perfect face of her killer, what in the heavens was going on. Her sister only said that she had to take care of Liam, but didn't disclose important details - such as the possibility of a vampire assassin coming after her. She also wondered if Sebastian had at least run far away enough. She doubted it. This man was a professional.

"I didn't want to kill you," the vampire said slowly. Some crickets made noise in the night. "You did this to yourself."

Instead of answering, Liz spat blood on his face.

The assassin grabbed her neck, ready to break it, when a flash of light collided with the side of his face.

"What the-?" was all he could say before another light hit his chest, right through the heart. Then, he caught on fire.

Liz managed to lose the hand around her neck and fell with a thud to the floor, watching in wonder at the anticlimactic way her would-be-killer burned to ashes in mere seconds.

"Uh…"

"Oh, good night, miss Elizabeth." A new voice entered the farm. She looked up, and to her relief, was right there, a hand still extended after casting his spell.

Behind him, Sebastian desperately rocked Liam to calm his cries. They shared a look, she nodded, and then collapsed because of the pain and blood loss.

The moon was high in the night sky by the time Liz woke up. They had bandaged her leg and her broken hand, but Rasmodius said she would heal on her own without problem.

Sebastian doubted it. He had seen her fast healing and it was taking too long to heal these wounds.

"Ugh…," the vampire tried to sit up, but then groaned and was down again.

"I wouldn't do that, miss Elizabeth."

Her tired eyes searched for the source of the voice. "The wizard."

"In the flesh."

"So you are real?" She arched an eyebrow.

"As real as you are, miss vampire," he laughed at the situation. She did, too, but coughed a little blood. "Internal bleeding, a broken leg and a shattered hand. Please take it slow."

"It'll heal." She made a gesture with her good hand, like it didn't matter.

"That's the problem," Sebastian said from the bedroom door, from where he had been watching the conversation. "It's not healing. At least not fast enough."

"No shit," Liz turned her head to look at him, "after that beating it is a miracle I'm alive. Your blood gave me strength."

The young man blushed, but smiled at her.

"Congratulations on finding a familiar, miss," the wizard said with a smile.

Liz's eyes seemed to want to get out of her head before she started coughing again. The movement provoked more pain and she groaned as she flopped back to the bed.

"We are not- I mean, Seb and I… He said… ugh." She hid her face behind her hands.

looked at the young man, confused.

"What she means to say is we are not like that." His face was red and he was trying to hide it behind his fringe.

"Oh? I thought…," the wizard put a hand on his chin. "The last vampire I met had a few familiars and I thought it was still in practice these days. And when I saw you with your friends the other day, I assumed things," he shrugged.

"Yeah, that day her aunt tried to attack me."

"So she does not feed on you?" He looked back and forth between the vampire and the human.

"Yoba please kill me now," Liz murmured under her breath.

"Uh…," Sebastian busied himself with the baby, trying to hide from the question.

"She does feed on your blood, but you are not her familiar?"

Sebastian didn't know what was worse, the honest confusion of the Wizard or how hearing their current arrangement from another person's mouth made his heart flutter.

"We are, uh, going out. And I let her bite me from time to time."

"Well, I'm not questioning what you younglings do in your private time, but please take care of your health," the man, oblivious to the way Sebastian seemed to start overheating and melting on the spot, walked to the end of the bed, where he had left his bag. "Speaking of health, I brought something that might be useful, Miss Elizabeth."

"Liz, please."

"Oh, sorry. Sensitive subject?"

"Yeah… well, it was, but not anymore?" She sighed. "You know how some purebloods 'adopt' vampires?"

"Half-breeds, yes." Liz winced.

"We are not called that anymore," the wizard clearly didn't have recent contact with her kind. "It's kinda offensive."

"My apologies, then."

"It's okay, you didn't know." She took a breath. "Well, I was adopted by a clan of purebloods and, well, their names have a certain, uh, theme." She frowned.

"They all start with 'L'" Sebastian said, connecting the dots.

"It's silly, I know, but back then it mattered a lot. The matriarch didn't care about me being a turned vampire at all, and she loved me like one of them; but some people had other ideas."

"And they bullied you for having a different name?"

"No, they bullied me for breathing the same air. Every little thing they could hurt me with, they did. So I tried to give them less weapons. Hence the name."

It's not that different from high school, thought Sebastian. Who would have thought? He could understand what she felt, now that he could rationalize his horrible years in highschool. At least he had his best friend, and later befriended Abigail, so he wouldn't be alone. He hoped Liz had someone in the family.

Looking down at baby Liam he guessed she did.

"Anyway, what did you want to show me?" Liz made a gesture with her chin towards a suspicious red bottle the wizard had drawn from his bag.

"Oh yes, this," he cleared his throat. "This is a potion I did just in case, after we met. It's like an energy drink for vampires, it will keep you at top condition for a few days. With this you could heal without trouble."

"What's the catch?" she narrowed her eyes. "There's always one."

"It will, huh… it will make you thirstier for a little while."

Sebastian's first thought was, I definitely cannot keep up with her then, calculating how long until he replenished the blood he lost in the last feeding. Liz looked at him and then at the bottle. She seemed to think the same thing.

Whatever, he thought then, she can feed in the city after she's healed.

"Why on earth would you make this? Did you suspect I would attack someone here?" she asked, frowning a little.

"I… I must confess that I was wary of your intentions here, miss. And confused. I have never met a farmer vampire."

"That's fair, I guess."

"And I wanted to be prepared in case I had to intervene. But fortunately that's not the case here, so I guess this potion could be good for this situation." He approached her and handed the potion.

"Well, thanks, mister Rasmodius." She uncapped the suspicious bottle and gulped it down in one go. She blinked a few times, savoring the taste of the potion. "I feel… weird."

"Weird how?"

"I… ah!" her back curved, and before their eyes, the vampire went red. Her veins became visible with the potion running through them, travelling to all the corners of her body. Her broken hand trembled as her bones reset. Her legs shook also for a moment. During this time her face contorted, her fangs growing to full length and her eyes shining a bright blood red, like Sebastian had never seen before.

"Is this normal?" he whispered to the wizard, who looked at him and shrugged.

"I said she would be thirsty."

Thirsty? She looks like she's about to jump anything that moves.

Liz stopped convulsing and fell back to the bed. She breathed slowly, calming down after such experience, but when she turned her head to look at them, the fangs and red eyes were still there.

"What have you done to me?" she glared at the wizard, but there was no heat in her voice. Once again, the man shrugged.

"Drink responsibly," he took his things and turned to the front door. "Take care, miss. Hopefully we won't see each other again."

And so he left.

Sebastian sighed and went towards the temporary crib for Liam, putting the baby to bed. The sun was not coming out soon, but after the day's agitation, the infant was out cold.

"Ugh!" Liz complained from the bed. "I could eat an entire town!" There was an edge of urgency in her voice.

"Is it bad?" he said, coming back to check on her. "Can I do anything to help?" His hands went to the hem of his hoodie, but didn't take it off.

She eyed him, considering. In the end she closed her eyes in defeat.

"Nah, it wouldn't make a difference even if I drank all your blood. And I don't think I could stop myself."

"That bad, then." He winced at the mental image. "Then what are you going to do?"

"The only thing I can do, young grasshopper," she smiled with her enormous fangs. It was hot, Sebastian concluded, but archived that thought for later. "I have to eat until I vomit. So I have to go," she detangled herself from the sheets and jumped to her feet, proving that she was healed and perfectly fine. "Gotta run!"

When she came back, Sebastian was dozing on the sofa, next to the temporary crib made of blankets. He didn't try to wait up for her or anything, but he felt like he couldn't sleep with all the drama that happened, and was just scrolling on social media on his phone.

He woke up, startled, when he felt a hand on his cheek, followed by a soft kiss that was feverishly warm.

"Hm?" he opened his eyes, finding a rosy-cheeked, hair-tousled, fangs-out vampire. "Liz? How did it go?"

Instead of an answer he got a kiss on the lips. Her hands went to his hair, already tangled there. The kiss became urgent, hungry, and the lack of answer was starting to bother him. He pushed her back.

"Please tell me that everything is okay."

"Oh yeah, I'm… I'm fine," she averted her eyes, which were still blood red. "I feel so full I might actually vomit, but, huh…"

"Yes?"

She bit her lip, looking down for a moment. She took a breath and her eyes flew to her boyfriend's with a hungry glint. Somehow he knew it wasn't hunger for his blood.

"I might…," Liz moved towards his lap, straddling him. "I maaaaaaaaay be super horny right now. Just a bit. Only a little bit."

Sebastian rolled his eyes, smiling up at her. "The potion?" He said, putting his hands on her hips.

"I think? I mean, it's like some kind of limiter has broken and everything is too much. Hunger, senses," she leaned in to kiss him. "Desire."

"Horniness."

Liz snorted. "I don't think that's a real word. But yeah."

"Okay so you are like a teenager? A vampire teenager?"

"Would that bother you?" she asked as she noticed his sleepy face. He hastily shook his head, his cheeks blooming a cute shade of pink.

"I'm wide awake."

"I see." She jumped in to kiss him again, ravenous. Unconsciously, she grinded her hips against his, looking for that sweet friction, and the old sofa groaned at the force. "Oops."

"Maybe," Sebastian tried to breathe against her lips, "we should go to the bed." He looked at his side at the blanket fortress where Liam miraculously still slept soundly.

"Good idea."

She got down from his legs and picked him up without asking, chuckling at the surprised yelp he did. She kissed him as she carried Sebstian bridal style to the bed, basking on how he seemed to enjoy it, and making a mental note to do more shows of strength in front of him. Liz had never been a show-off kind of gal, but if her man liked it, who was she to deny him?

She threw him to the bed and proceeded to take off her clothes, not really into foreplay right now. There was time for that, any other time, when she was not so hot or she felt like her body was going to explode if she didn't bone that beautiful boy right then.

Apparently, Sebastian felt the same, as he also shed his clothes. Or maybe he sensed she was not going to be soft and slow and gentle today. Oh. Yeah. She should inform him.

"Seb, I... " Liz hesitated, her hands on the elastic band of her underwear, stopping as she slipped them down her legs. "I may not be-"

"Gentle?" he breathed, looking mesmerized at her naked form. "I kind of got the message."

"Are you okay with that?" she leaned into the bed to kiss him softly.

"I-I'm… Yeah! It's okay." He blushed. "You know I like it. Ha ha…" he looked away in shame.

"Hey," she went back on top of him and brushed his hair away from his face, "You know you can tell me everything, right? Things you like, things you don't like, things you want to try… I will listen."

"I know," he shuffled under her, freeing one hand to cup her face. "That's why I want you to ride me as hard as you want and how you want. I want… I want you fulfil your desires too, Liz. I would love that more than being just soft because you are scared of doing more."

"Okay. Okay, " she said. "Buf if I do something you don't like or if it hurts please tell me."

"Hurt?"

"Super strength, remember?" she put a hand on either side of his head, successfully trapping him under her.

"Oh, yes. That," Sebastian bit his lip in anticipation. "Uh."

She grinded her hips against his growing erection. "Of course you like that."

"Fuck," he didn't seem to notice he said that out loud. "M-Maybe…"

"Good boy," she rewarded, getting in character, as she leaned down to kiss him, swallowing any noise as she positioned him in her entrance and thrusted down without warning.

Sebastian moaned in her mouth, letting himself be handled when her hands entrapped his over his head. He was completely at her mercy. And by the sounds he was making he was liking it.

She moved her hips, slowly at first, and upped the pace when the mighty need built inside of her. She wasn't joking when she said that the potion had intensified things inside of her - her desire for him, for his blood, for his flesh, everything - had multiplied. Liz relished in every sound he made, with the mounting moans and gasps he did when she went down a little bit rougher; she felt herself lose a bit of control when she freed one of her hands, quickly grasping his in one of hers, and run her claws down his chest, leaving red marks.

By the time she felt her first orgasm coming, he was panting with his eyes closed. The woman stopped for a moment to enjoy the coming down sensation before letting go of her victim and disentangling herself from him.

"Liz?" he asked, opening his eyes.

"Sit against the headboard." It was an order.

When he did she climbed again, groaning when he entered swiftly in one movement. She put her hands on the wood next to his head, and looked him in the eye.

"You okay?"

He nodded enthusiastically, his hands finding their place on her hips.

"Give me everything you've got."

She arched an eyebrow as she slowly went up and then brusquely thrusted down. He mewled, loud. "Are you sure about that?"

She did it again, for good measure. The bed didn't agree with their moves, making a sound.

"Never been more sure of anything." His smile was cheeky, as if he knew what he was getting himself into.

She started jumping up and down, pushing and pulling with controlled strength, really not wanting to break the bed. She liked this bed. It was the first thing she bought when she moved here.

Right then Sebastian moaned loudly, bending his neck to rest his head against the headboard, showing his pretty and soft skin, the side she hadn't bitten yet. She couldn't resist, she didn't want to resist, she wasn't physically able to resist. She bit him, hard, as she sped up her pace more. The young man screamed under her, his nails biting into the skin of her hips, but she didn't feel any pain.

Sebastian seemed to want to say something, but he couldn't do it as he mewled and panted in sync with her movements. One of his hands flew to protect his head from hitting against the headboard as her thrusts intensified, his body moving with her; his other hand grasping onto her for dear life, holding on for the ride as long as he could.

"You taste so good," she groaned when she let his neck go, lapping quickly and messily, making the flow stop almost immediately. She didn't want to feed, she just needed to bite. "You feel so good."

Liz arched her back, overloaded with his taste in her mouth, with the feeling of his body against hers. She looked down at him with crazed eyes, not slowing down, cradling his head to kiss him. He looked back at her with tears of pain in his eyes, mouth opened, with a faraway look in his face.

"Liz…" he could muster before he bit his lips to trap a loud moan. His breath got caught in his throat. "I'm…"

"Yeah, sure."

"But you are not-"

"Don't worry about it."

She picked up the pace to an inhuman speed, enjoying the way he seemed to melt under her, groaning and moaning as he came. She did a few more ups and downs to get to the edge, sneaking one hand to rub her fingers against her clit to get that little final push. She managed to do it, and with a low growl through clenched teeth she came, her body trembling all over. The vampire could feel her fangs aching, her eyes zeroing on the tasty skin right in front of her, but she rushed to bite down her arm to spare the human, not really sure if she was allowed to bite again so soon.

Once she calmed enough she looked down to find Sebastian coming to earth from his own high, smiling.

"That was…" he searched for the words, his hands moving towards her back, probably noticing that he didn't leave a mark with his nails. "Different."

"Good different?" she kissed him softly this time. Her fangs refused to retract, so she was careful with the pointy bits.

He nodded. "I like you on top."

"Yeah?" she arched an eyebrow.

"I can do this," his wandering hands came to her front, cupping her breasts and squeezing. He looked back at her with a cheeky smile. "And they bounce."

She rolled her eyes. "Everything okay?"

"Yeah, everything's fine. It was super hot, though. We need to do this more often." He leaned back to rest against the wood, and Liz noticed for the first time he was drenched in sweat.

She brushed back his wet fringe with one hand. "If you liked this we can try more things, too."

"Like…?"

"Are you against the use of strap-ons?" her lips curved upward, chuckling when he looked at her with wide eyes. Before he even could answer with words, she knew he liked it by how his member was returning to life inside of her.

"I… I mean, that sounds interesting." He looked to the side as if it wasn't a big deal.

"Have you done something like that before?"

His face was like a tomato when he looked back at her. "No, but I may have had a certain interest in it since high school."

She shifted her hips, earning a hiss from her partner. "I can notice it." She chuckled again, doing a tentative thrust with her hips.

"Are you ready for more?" He arched his eyebrows, surprised.

"You?"

"Ah, inhuman stamina," he rolled his eyes. "And yeah, go ahead."

He put his hands back on her, ready for another ride of his life. She moved up slowly, building up anticipation. She rammed down.

And the poor bed complained for the last time before breaking down in pieces.

Somewhere from the living room, Liam woke up, crying.
