AN: Special Thanks goes to Story's Shadow for writing the ending of this chapter.

-A Few Hours Later, Warehouse, North Palm City-

"Gentleman, thank you all for coming." N greeted the Street Demon leaders as soon as they entered into the warehouses' central room. The Street Demons totaled 20 by N's count, the same as his men's count. However N knew from personal experience that it was most likely that the Street Demons had extra men in the wings, needless to say was the fact that N as well had men on standby just in case.

"Where's our money?" the leader Street Demon member asked in his thick Spanish accent.

In response N gave a hand gesture and two of his members showed the Street Demon leaders briefcases that where stuffed with money.

"Let me see it," the leading Street Demon member ordered.

In response N's men opened the briefcases and showed them all the money that was inside the briefcases.

"How do we know the money is not counterfeit?" a second Street Demon member asked, which earned head nods from every Street Demon present.

"You have my personal assurance that–" N was never able to finish due to several Street Demons pulling out their pistols and taking aim, to which N's men did the same.

Both N and the Street Demon leader gave their men a hand signal telling them to stand down. With much reluctance both sides lowered their weapons.

"As I was saying, you have my assurance that the money is good, see for yourself." N said as his men slid the briefcases over to the Street Demon leaders... however the moment the money was in reach, gunfire rang out as several Street Demons where gunned down by sniper fire from an unknown assailant.

"Kill them all!" the leading Street Demon ordered as he pulled out his gun and with precision accuracy gunned down two of N's men with two shots.

N pulled out his pistol and opened fire as well.

-An Hour Or So Later, Sanchez Estate, Palm City-

"Good to see you back in one piece." Mr. Sanchez said in a relived tone as soon as N pulled into the driveway of the estate.

"Feeling is very mutual." N said as soon as he and his boss walked into the estate.

"Did the real thieves show?" Mr. Sanchez asked N.

"They sure did alright. Soon as we slid over the money, the gunfire started," N said as soon as he and Mr. Sanchez walked into the estates meeting room.

Jordan was waiting for them.

"You plant the tracker?' N asked Jordan.

In response Jordan pulled out a strange looking device that showed a red dot blinking off in another section of the City.

"The plan worked to perfection. While the thieves where distracted with the Street Demons during the gunfight, I slipped a tracker under the car, and I snapped a photo of the license plate. I called Ms. Black about the plate, turns out it's under a false name, so we'll get nothing there. But at least we know the tracker is working." Jordan said in a proud tone.

-Meanwhile, Screaming Furies Clubhouse, Palm City-

The Furies cheered at a job well done. Jade started the party, she drank and sang wildly in celebration. Mack stood to one side of the room. He wasn't sure it was time to celebrate. But Jade wouldn't be swayed. They had killed most of the leader and his hand picked men. She wasn't sure any of them were the ones she sought vengeance on, but she knew they had done their fair share of terrible deeds. Those leading the Demons usually did something horrific to strengthen their position and to climb the ranks. She'd sleep like a baby. As she partied, another of the Furies approached Mack, beer in hand.

"Tired?" The man chuckled.

"It think it's a little early to celebrate," Mack said.

"I hear you...but I gotta admit...feels good to stick it to the Demons," the man replied.

Mack didn't say anything, but he nodded in understanding. Mack looked over as the door to the Furies' establishment opened. Two women walked in. They nodded to each other as they walked over when they saw Jade and Mack. Mack eyed them with suspicion. He studied them for a little bit.

"What is it?" The man asked.

"Detectives," Mack answered quietly, calmly.

"How do you know?" The man asked.

"Been doing this long enough to know a detective when they're around," Mack answered.

They waited till after Jade finished her song and approached them. Soon enough, Jade and Mack were going on a ride like Mack suspected.

"Where are we going?" Jade demanded to know.

"You'll find out soon enough," one of the women said.

"This isn't the way to the station," Mack grunted in confusion.

"You're not in trouble," the other woman said.

-Unknown location, several minutes later-

Jade and Mack sat in an abandoned theater. They walked onto the stage. The lights suddenly shined on them, they couldn't see anything where the seats were.

"Apologies about the theatrics," a voice said over the speaker.

The voice was disguised, but part of Mack thought the voice was female.

"Who are you?" Jade snarled.

"You poor girl...what you must've thought and felt that day," the voice replied.

"Who the hell are you?!" Jade snarled.

"Such fire, I like that," the unknown individual chuckled.

"You heard the kid: who are you?" Mack asked.

"You did well the other night, taking out several of the higher ups of the Street Demons," the individual cryptically answered.

"I don't know what you're talking about," Mack replied.

"You think that news about the Demons going to 'find their money' was put out there randomly?" The individual replied.

Jade and Mack gave an unsure glance to one another.

"The heist was well planned, you didn't hurt anyone, and you only stole from the Demons. You did quite well. Then you took out several high ranking members of the gang. Your group is quite good at what it does," the individual continued.

"What are you suggesting?" Mack asked.

"That you pool your efforts with others to bring down the Street Demons," the individual answered.

Jade and Mack didn't answer for a moment.

"And why would we do that?" Mack asked.

"Are you not fighting them as we speak?" The individual asked.

"Who say we are?" Mack replied.

"I think stealing their money and killing their leaders isn't very neutral," the individual pinpointed.

"Maybe we were just trying to keep things discreet. To make sure we don't have open war in our home," Mack responded.

"There's already a war. The Street Demons started the war by attacking this city. And they're only getting stronger," the individual said.

"Than how could one biker gang help turn the tide?" Mack asked.

"It's more than just the Screaming Furies that turns the tide. It can be individuals like this passionate young woman here. She led the heist and was the one who I believe persuaded your group to attack the Demons. I know about her father and what they did to him," the individual proclaimed.

"You don't know anything!" Jade hissed.

"I know they sabotaged his bike during that race and those that specifically did it haven't been found," the individual said.

"Whoa are you?" Jade asked.

"Someone who doesn't want my city taken over by demons. You all could be of help," the individual replied.

"...I gotta take it up with the heads of the gang. We need them to declare war," Mack replied.

One of the detectives walked up and handed Mack a phone.

"Call them, we'll be waiting," the individual said.

They didn't hear them again as the two left.
