"Oh Kappa, My Kappa"

It took Zorina a few moments after waking up in the morning to know what had happened to the succubus, the cosmos informing her by showing images of Bo and Dyson going at it in the undeclared' s house- affectionately called the 'crack shack'. Her powers flaring up unexpectedly as she sat in her large bed, eyes clouding over to milky silver as her cat and hound watched the surprise appearance of the universe in their caretaker's eyes- which annoyed the fae woman even more that morning. Giving a growl that would rival that of the Grim at her feet, the companions shared a look before getting to work to calm the older fae woman down with freshly brewed tea and made breakfast in bed, putting a smile on the agitated woman's face, and thanking the pair before tucking in.

Taking the morning to calm her flaring powers with the occasional slip of the offending pair throughout the day- seeing them in Bo's house, at the precinct, and apparently working another case together from the case file that they had been perusing in the record's room along with all their flirting. Not knowing why the cosmos were showing her all this, frustrated the dimensional witch even more, having no clues or hints of the reason behind it got on Zorina's nerves in more ways than one with the added bonus of spying on her friend's sex life.

Elsewhere in the city

Bo and Kenzi were working a case as a private P.I business with the start of a missing person after meeting the victim's mom and finding out that the girl, Gina, had been missing for two days without any traces. Bo had gone to Dyson to get any follow up info on any related cases in the past with only one, a dead girl found completely hollow on the inside and with no probable causes or suspects. Deciding that getting close to the sorority that Gina was pledging to would help solve their case, Kenzi is nominated to go undercover as a blonde legacy to infiltrate if the sorority girls had any ties to the disappearance of the college co-ed. Bo also took a job as a security guard on campus to explore the area to find Gina and to see if any clues would pop up by interviewing staff and college kids, having gotten some information from the dean through her succubus powers of persuasion before walking into the woods while Kenzi was taking a tour of the Kappa house.

While the girls were on campus for their case, Zorina was meditating and drinking to ease the headache that came with unsuspecting flare ups. Burning candles and incense that reminisce of her mother's house, taking a long soak in a bubble bath before being interrupted by the shrill ringing of her cellphone that was resting on the bathroom counter next to Fionn. Taking pity on the waterlogged woman, he pressed a paw onto the answer button and putting it on speaker with the reply in a saucy tone, "Spa relaxation time, Fionn speaking- how may we be of service?"

"Hey Fionn, what are you doing answering Rina's phone? Didn't she say not to do that anymore?" asked a confused Dyson, having known that the only times Rina allows her animals to answer the phone was went she was busy or had her hands full with something else.

"The mistress is taking a much-needed relaxing spa day, for what she has had to deal with earlier. Now state your business shifter or be prepared to be hung up on." The cat snarked, not liking the man at the moment or when something interrupts his mistress's alone time.

Dyson looked at the phone for a minute, never having been on the opposite end of the fairy cat's distain, before putting it back to his ear to get straight to the point- not having heard the snickering on the other end of the line from the intended recipient of the call. "Well, I was hoping to ask her if she would like to help me on a case that Bo is working, to see if there is anything fae-involved."

"One moment please," replied the cat, who turned his attention to the now aware woman-waiting for her reply to the question. They both shared a look before the blonde huffed and gave a tired nod, moving to stand up from the porcelain claw-footed tub while the cat answered, "She'll be ready in a few moments. Where should she meet you?" Giving a quick reply of the Dal, Dyson hung up while Rina picked out her outfit for the day, deciding to take a more edgy approach with her wardrobe- a mesh black top that showed as much as it concealed, ripped jeans, and spiked heeled boots with her hair in a messy bun to emphasize the decorations she had in it. Sighing a later to the caretakers of her home, she revved up her newer model charger before high tailing it to the fae bar to face one of the ire's of her day. Making it in record time and avoiding any police cars, she parked and stormed into the ancient establishment- making a grand entrance by slamming the door open. Not spying the shifter yet, she prowled towards Trick who was behind the bar as usual, quickly ordering straight the strongest spirit that he had, which caused the dwarf to lift a brow that the seemingly ticked woman that had just entered. "Okay… care to share what has you in a hard mood?" he gently inquired as he got her order ready and placing it in front the Zorina, which she immediately downed in a shot before slamming the cup onto the bar top with a grunted response of "Flare ups this morning and unwanted images in my head. Came 'cuz Dyson wanted my input on a missing persons case that the little succubus brought him, now I am of service to all those with questioning minds."

"Ouch, another then?", knowing that was a subject that was not meant to be touched when it comes to the ancient fae, pouring her another drink which this time she was sipping after the relief that the first one provided. Taking a few heavenly seconds to savor the strong alcohol that was now coursing through her veins, she turned to look for the shifter that summoned her there- in an alcove that housed tables and high-back chairs. Giving a nod of thanks to the elder, she made her way to the lounging wolf and greeted "Dyson" with a drawl and sip of her drink. Dyson responded with a nod before taking a look at the older fae as she claimed the middle chair, noticing the irritated look and tired expression on her face. "What's got you all crabby? Got an errand from your mother or aunt again?" the wolf asked jokingly, feeling concerned for his friend but still preoccupied by thoughts from earlier yesterday at the station.

"Having deal with cryptic messages from the universe, what's got you so chipper?" her accent heavier than usual, but the shifter knew not to press on the matter. The pair enjoyed the silence as they sipped their drinks, Dyson having finished his earlier while he was waiting, and Zorina appreciating the company before Bo suddenly appeared- surprised to see the blonde again after last week's fiasco. The succubus taking the empty seat in front of the shifter while greeting the pair with equal responses, some more cheerful than others. Bo brought both of them up to speed on her case, showing them old maps of the campus and explaining the tunnel system that connected to some of the buildings, paying more attention to the male of the group than the other female- having gotten the faintest vibes of ire. Getting another beer from the obviously flirting waitress Kala, spurring Bo to ask, "Is that your thing? You're a chick magnet, or is it bad to ask about your fae type?"

Dyson chuckled at the younger woman's curiosity while Zorina hummed, "To ask is to reveal one's weakness." He responded while Zorina brought in tow, "And it's rude to ask depending on the fae, like asking a woman her age. Not done when it usually gets out during the declaring trials."

Bo bounced off her theories with Dyson while Zorina watched their interactions and being reminded of the images that were forced into her head the previous morning. After promising to call the detective at eight that night and some more flirting with the exchanging of chi, Bo left a smitten Dyson behind as Trick came up from behind with a box he was taking down to his office- sharing a look with the annoyed seated woman before addressing the lovesick wolf. Trick took Dyson down below to have a talk about his actions towards his charge while Zorina was left with her thoughts and riling emotions, trying to figure out what the flare ups and her unusual feelings of irritation and pangs meant while taking calculated sips. It was a few minutes till Trick returned, giving the pondering woman a nod before going back to serving drinks and another five minutes until Dyson came up, toting books in his arms as he claimed a table to house them at. Sighing as she got up, Zorina moved over to the table that Dyson was now occupying, taking one of the heavy tomes and began to browse through it to see if any of the creatures in it fit the bill of feeding habits. It was only a few seconds of silent page turning before she finally blurted, "So, you're fucking her now?"

Eyes wide from shock, Dyson looked at his friend who hadn't even lifted her head at the statement, stared before responding with a "None of your business."

They fell into silence again as they researched the possible culprit, with Kala dropping off another beer for the man and the shifter taking time to look at the fairy girl before returning back to the books. Time flew by the pair with Dyson checking it every few hours and causing Zorina to look at him while doing it. When eight rolled over, Dyson and Zorina were getting concerned due to the succubus always being punctual when it came to the shifter; only waiting about fifteen minutes before his phone went off.

"Bo, Kenzi? Kenzi, where's Bo?!" he immediately started to question, noting that his friend stopped her searching to watch him and faintly hearing the frantic human explain the situation. Hanging up and quickly standing, the duo gave a look that they were familiar with using on the battlefields of old; before Dyson nodded and took off to meet with the erratic human and leaving Rina to search for a solution.

Kenzi and Dyson met up at the campus, the shifter getting a mental message from the researching fae left at the Dal. Quickly running down the running path that wound through the woods, Dyson explained to the human that she needed to get to Bo and tell her that the creature she was up against had a weakness- knocking the top of its head off like a teapot. Kenzi asked the disrobing detective "Why do I have to tell her?" before witnessing his shift into his wolf form, a white and gray mixed wolf with yellow eyes that took off into the surrounding brush- having caught a scent and following it to the security guard Wayne that resulted in his mauling.

Bo was in the abandon tunnels that housed the mysterious creature that was eating the missing college kids. She was chained to a stalagmite with a glowing green pool separating her from Gina, the missing girl that she was looking for. After Wayne had explained his motive of immortality with his hatred for privileged youths and left, Bo was trying to break free of her chains while Gina was being attacked by the creature that lived in the water. Finally escaping from the old bonds, she fought to get it away from the human girl, struggling against its surprising strength and being backed into a wall while it tried to feed off her via chi like she did. A sudden blow from behind caused the creature to stop dead, its head top sliding off as it fell to the ground, revealing a half-dressed Dyson and ecstatic Kenzi who was also holding the detective's shirt and leather jacket while the creature's head leaked moss-green goo. "Is it dead?" Bo asked, breathless from trying to restrain the thing from eating her.

"Yeah, it's dead." Dyson confirmed with a tap of his toe against the thing's arm with Bo next asking about the state of his undress, prompting Kenzi to beg him to let her tell Bo his secret. Pulling the excited human away to calm her down, Bo focused on getting Gina out of the cavern and back to her mother. The trio left and split up with the girls going back to the crack shack and Dyson taking Gina down to the station to fill out a report.

Bo was enjoying her bubble bath when Kenzi came into the bathroom with a page that fit the description of the creature that was in the cavern, explaining that Dyson sent it over and that it was called a Kappa, a Japanese fae that sucked the life out of its victims and lived in water. They talked about Bo's relationship with the now revealed wolf shifter, Kenzi stating that he was one of the 'good ones' for Bo but also having a smidgen of doubt- having observed his interactions with the older blonde fae and the vibes they were giving off being completely different from the ones that he had with the succubus, keeping those thoughts to herself.

The succubus entered the bar that night, looking for her wolf lover in the crowd of people. She asked one of the servers, a pretty fae with dark chocolate skin and long black kinky hair in a side braid that directed her to the back, in the storage room. Bo happily followed the fae girl's directions and opened the door to the wolf in question in between the legs of the red head from earlier, sucking face until the succubus interrupted the pair in their fun. Dyson told Bo that their relationship was only physical, meant for her to heal, while simultaneously breaking the brunette's heart and causing her to storm out of the bar with tears in her eyes.

Near the woods….

The cottage that belonged to Zorina was bathed in the light of the moon while the only source of light on the inside were candles burning in her storeroom; incense wafting in the air as she worked a few spells. Dressed in her pajamas, pair of silk light green shorts and a light cotton gray tank top that exposed all her tattoos and markings- swirling designs and ancient script along with symbols decorated her light skin that was tinted by time in the sun. Eyes closed and focused, the woman softly murmured words and waved her hands over the circle with the smoke of the candles and incense following her motions. A quick flick of the wrist and a final word, Zorina's eyes flashed open to reveal clouded-over silvery orbs that were staring at the mirror hanging on the wall. The image in the reflective surface shifted and swirled into smoke as it turned in its frame to settle on an image of an earthen room. The room appeared to be empty until the visage of an old woman with white hair and one milky eye took up the frame. Eyes now shifted back to normal, Rina faced the mirror that housed a picture that wasn't her own, giving the crone a small smile before greeting it, "Hello mama."
