For a moment, silence was present for the first time during the whole ordeal. It felt eerie, almost as eerie as the figure before Ty. Green flames still flickered around the wolf-like creature and flurried around its eyes like pure energy. The two stood perfectly aligned with the throne, the two in question being carefully watched by a stunned audience containing Team Lightyear and NOS-4-A2, who had lost his recognizable confident smirk while still hovering above the situation. Ty didn't take his eyes off of the thing. The voice, the smooth yet metallic voice, had shown itself once more. The same one as the Wirewolf's consciousness.

"Now look at what you've done," the wolf started to speak in a rather human-like tone with only a hint of alien static and began to pace the room, "Ranger Parsec." Ty still wasn't sure what to think of this since this wolf-flame thing was still his technical enemy, whether the circumstances present were there or not. It had helped him, he knew that, but it had still nested so much anger and hatred within him that nearly ended his life. He could only listen for now.

"I thought space rangers were people who served and protected the galaxy, not mess with its balance and find unnecessary trouble," it then turned and looked Ty dead in the eyes, "you really don't know how difficult you've made this for me, do you?" Buzz flipped between the two, almost waiting for either to make a move. His team was slightly behind him, still confused as before and unable to make sense of the confrontation unfolding. The green wolf was moving towards them but kept a good distance and wasn't giving any attention that would spark extra stress.

"Why in the great galaxy would I care about getting you back to normal?" The wolf narrowed its eyes towards Ty, jaw open in shock at the green flame's question, "All you are is a virus to me, a mere obstacle preventing my success," it said, chin up and a paw on its chest, confidently. Ty turned from shock to anger, taking a single step closer, almost in confusion.

"But you…" Ty gathered his words through his metallic tone, "You said you needed me," the green wolf chuckled and took a step closer to the Wirewolf. NOS-4-A2 was still high in the air, but had swooped over to the side, where Buzz still gave the occasional glance to make sure he didn't try anything he'd regret, lazer at the ready. The energy vampire did, however, keep his attention entirely on the two wolf-like figures with a sense of fascination.

"Well of course I needed a host to begin with, that's just how I function. But after taking over you completely now six times, I was able to finally accomplish something I'd been looking forward to for a while…" It looked him dead in the eyes, "I was able to hack into your brain."

Ty nearly collapsed. His mind spun. His senses weakened. It couldn't be true. It COULDN'T. He was himself. He was just trapped temporarily, that's all. Nothing more. Buzz would find a way to save everyone and that would be the end of this terrifying chapter of his life. That's it. Oh how badly he hoped it manifested into truth. The wolf began chuckling again.

"Do you really think that chain's indestructible to something of your current strength?" Ty looked down at the seemingly delicate glass and chain attached to the moonrock, still in total denial. "Although I was planning on coming out of you a bit later, but it seems you got captured MUCH faster than I though someone with your powers would. Ah, whatever. Think of it as… an organic trying to bite their own finger off. They have plenty of strength to do it, but their minds stop them before they get a chance to try. All I had to do was input the same basic code into your programming, and it left you powerless to try and go through with harming the moonrock." The Wirewolf felt a surge of anger, disgust, and above all, betrayal. How could he have not seen this coming?

"And as for you four," the wolf turned to address Team Lightyear, "you made about half the effort I thought you would to try and fix him. You were the only part I was actually worried about, yet you've...disappointed me," it said with a sarcastic sigh. Buzz clenched his teeth. That was it. He ran a few steps closer and shot his wrist lazer twice straight through the green flame. The wolf didn't flinch.

"My, aren't we snippy? Craving death too much?" The wolf lunged himself at Buzz, who began to quickly feel a rise in temperature from the growing flames nipping at his spacesuit. He was frozen. He would soon be engulfed in flames if he didn't move. But he couldn't.

"NO!" roared the mechanical wolf that sprung forward into action and tackled the flame, this time colliding as if both were solid beings. The wolf yelped as the tumbled away from Buzz who finally snapped out of it and threw himself out of the way before being crushed or burned. Mira rushed to his side just in case while XR and Booster stayed mesmerized from the fight.

With a wave of a paw, the green wolf slashed at Ty, who felt his metal heat up and sting. The Wirewolf backed away slightly before attacking again with his own paws. He punched the muzzle of the wolf who in return began to bite down hard on his arm. The two wrapped up into a ball of fire and metal, roaring and hissing from the pain and determination driving them. Ty was fired up. He was done.

This. Ends. Now.

Grabbing the wolf by the throat and lifting it off the ground as it squirmed and flames burned his metal paws, he threw it with all his strength and caused it to crash into the wall beside the throne. He was breathing heavily and recovering from the fiery attacks that turned bits of his white and blue metal red. It was a strange combination of victory and regret. There was still obviously something connecting the two as he was able to grab the wolf without going through it like Buzz's lazers, but not enough that he didn't take any of his focus off of the traitor lying limp at the base of the wall. Its flames died down a bit and grew a bit darker in color, fading from a neon to an earthly green.

Ty walked over on his hind legs and still braced himself for any surprise attacks. The wolf looked up with a pair of weakened eyes and struggled to get up. Ty bared his fangs and took another step, towering over the beast and raised a paw with the determination to kill. He was a space ranger, and this would prove his worth. Instead of accepting its fate or pleading, the wolf gave a calm smile.

"Go ahead, see if you can slice through me. It's not like I'm made of literal fire or any-UGH! You know, sarcasm isn't required. Your personality's slipping over to my side… I hate it…" Ty growled, but more out of annoyment from the first comment. It was true, any touch he made to the wolf couldn't truly destroy it. His paw lowered with the growing chuckling from the wolf.

"It's quite funny, ya know? You can be so blind when you're desperate. I'm literally what almost killed your friend and you took my lame excuse that I was 'acting naturally'. Do you really think something of my wit would just start killing for no reason?" The wolf stood up on shaking legs and shook its head, "no no no, I am far more advanced than that. I just needed some bought time while you just waltzed us into one of the largest storage spaces of energy. With that kind of power, my form will be unstoppable and I shall rule the galaxy!" Laughter shook the room as the wolf, after a small minute of struggling, pounced onto (more like through) Parsec who whimpered from the pain of the fire and fell back down to all fours. The wolf began to tuck its paws in as it bounced around the room, nearly hitting Team Lightyear as it began to slightly float and lose its wolf-like shape. It soon became a cackling ball of green light that forced its way into a large pillar of energy by the throne. Ty recognized it from earlier, it was one of the things that had the strongest glow in his vision.

The laughter faded as the flame was engulfed by the energy and disappeared. NOS-4-A2, claws out, began flying away from any of the energy-yielding pillars and landed near Team Lightyear, a bit nervous about being so close to his enemies. XR sped as far away as he could and ran to the front of his team. Buzz jumped a bit at the robot's frantic movements, but it was understandable. What wasn't expected was when he suddenly gasped and went rigid right as he was a few feet past his team. A moment passed. No movement.

"XR?" Buzz asked in question of the strange behavior. XR's limbs began shaking. He looked panicked and afraid of something, but he was staring into nothing. He groaned and covered his glowing eyes, his team fluttering with worry. Suddenly, he placed his arms calmly by his side and the room went silent. Even Ty turned his attention to the spaced out robot. XR's head quickly spun around with just about the most evil grin that could be held on his yellow head. It had a look of madness, and no essence of XR left. The eyes were neon green.

"It...it worked!" XR looked down at his hands with the same grin, flexing his purple fingers. The voice was the same, but his tone seemed...off. "I can possess electronics again! Although...this one is a bit short…" a sudden burst of light came out of XR who's eyes had faded back to yellow and switched to a face of fright. His treads collapsed and he cried out as green flames swarmed out of his small body and gathered together in a twitching floating fireball. The robot rubbed his floating head and tried to recalibrate his thoughts.

The fireball paused midair for a short second as the rest of Team Lightyear rushed to XR's side, and Ty looked over in horror at the fireball. It was moving at a lightning pace towards NOS-4-A2, who wasn't quick enough to dodge the flames. From the way it crashed into him, the fire seemed to be observed by the shocked energy vampire. However, from looking closer as Ty discovered, NOS-4-A2 began to struggle and grip his head, fighting the virus taking over him. He had the same maddening laughter pouring out with his mechanical tone, and everyone looked on in shock when the red eyes and monocle slowly faded from red to green, the same way XR's did. Ty couldn't believe it.

"Ah, that's better. A bit more skill and agility with this one…

"H-Hey! Not that I wanted to, but I was the PERFECT host for enslaving the universe! I'll have you know this terillium carbonic alloy is top-notch stuff!" XR yelled, waving a fist at the wolf-possessed NOS-4-A2. The energy vampire gave no reply, just a small scoff before testing out its new abilities and body.

"What do you think, Parsec?" The Wirewolf growled and tried not to show his defeat in his eyes. How could he possibly defeat someone who could take over electronics?!" NOs-4-A2 lowered himself so he was across the room from Ty. He gave a fanged grin.

"Your move."
