It was the day after the incident at Taft Studios, Harley was home thinking about Snorky, his favorite Banana Split.

Harley: Oh, Snorky, you'll always be my favorite. I miss you!

Just then, his mother, Beth, entered the room.

Beth: I'm sorry you had to experience it, Harley. I know Snorky is your favorite. It's a shame the Banana Splits show is cancelled.

Just then, there was a knock at the door.

Beth: Who could that be?

Beth and Harley went to the front door. Out the window, Harley saw a familiar monkey tail.

Harley: Bunkey? Is that you?

Beth opened the door and sure enough, there was Bunkey. The monkey-tailed kid entered the house and Beth closed the door again.

Bunkey: I'm sorry I wasn't at the studio to greet you, Harley. But now, I need help! The Splits you encountered weren't the real Splits at all.

Harley: They weren't?

Beth: Then, what were they?

Bunkey: They were robot copies of the Splits. The real Banana Splits are missing and I need help finding them.

Beth: But when did this happened?

Bunkey: I don't know, but someone replaced my friends with robots. I was locked in a different stage building. And what the robots did to those poor people at the studio, it's all my fault! They wouldn't have died if I hadn't messed with the robots' programming! I didn't mean to place a virus inside the robots, I just wanted to turned them off for good!

Harley: Oh dear!

Beth: I forgive you, Bunkey!

Harley: So do I! But that means Snorky is still alive.

Bunkey: Yes, and so are Fleegle, Bingo and Drooper! And now they're missing!

Harley: Mom, we got to go find them! We just gotta!

Beth remembered her encounter with the Robot Splits and she knew how much the Banana Splits mean to the boys.

Beth: Very well! Let's go find them! Bunkey, did have any idea where they might be?

Harley: Yes, Mrs. Williams, the Banana Splits were last seen being loaded onto a truck heading for Oregon.

A few minutes later, Beth, Harley and Bunkey were in the Williams' family car.

Harley: Bunkey, will Snorky and the others be okay?

Bunkey: I hope so, Harley! I hope so!
