The next thing the group knew, they were plummeting through the tube into large container bins.

"Ah!" the group shouted as they landed, rather painfully, in the bottom of the bins. The boys landed first, each landing in their own tube and then Lula and Liv landing afterwards.

"Oof." Danny and Jack grunted as the two girls fell into their bins, causing them to fall back down into the tube.

"Nice catch." Liv uttered as the two of them stood up.

The clanging of frying pans and the pungent smell of fried chicken and dumplings pulled the Horsemen out of their bubble to find themselves in the kitchen of a restaurant and not the van that they were supposed to land in.

"What the hell is going on?" Jack questioned as he surveyed the new surroundings, hesitantly climbing out of the bin.

"Wasn't there supposed to be a truck?" Lula asked, taking Jack's hand as she pulled herself out of the bin.

"Where the hell are we?" Liv asked as Danny pulled her from the bin, still holding her hand.

As the confused Horsemen looked around, some of the kitchen staff began shouting at them to get out, pushing them away from the stoves and conveyor belt and towards the door.

"Hey!" Danny protested as a large man grabbed him and Jack by the collar.

"Wait, did you mis-run the tube?" Danny asked Jack as they were being led out of the kitchen.

"No, no I put it in the truck! I know I did!" Jack explained, trying not to trip over his feet.

"Really, because we're not in the truck right now." Danny pointed out, looking over his shoulder to see Merritt, Olivia and Lula being led out by two other chiefs.

"Someone must have moved the tubes." Merritt shouted to the two boys. "Were we above a chinese restaurant?" Merritt asked as they continued to be pushed out of the kitchen. As Merritt, Lula and Olivia passed by some of the line chiefs, a young woman reached out and grabbed Merritts hat, screaming something in Mandrin to him. "Give me that!" Merritt shouted, ripping the hat from her grip.

The group was finally shoved out of the kitchen into the lobby of a chinese restaurant, causing many in the restaurant to look at the Horsemen.

"Okay..Why are we here?" Danny asked, looking around at the restaurant, watching as many of the customers went back to their meal.

"Ya and why am I frickin' starving?" Lula questioned, gripping her growling stomach.

"Yeah, I'm weirdly starving too." Jack commented, grabbing his own belly.

"Me three." Liv stated, looking over at Danny.

Merritt stumbled out from the behind the door and stood behind the group. "This makes no sense." Merritt muttered before pushing passed Danny and Olivia towards the entrance of the restaurant. When Merritt exited the restaurant he was surprised to not see the familiarNew York alleyway that they were supposed to be on but a narrow dirt road, surrounded by thousands of people walking the streets. Around him were other similar looking restaurants, all crammed together on the narrow sidewalk. Dodging past a man on a motorbike, Merritt looked down the street to see more poorly constructed buildings that led towards a night sky lit with thousands of lights from hotels and large buildings, with one reading a name in Mandrin.

As Merritt made his way back inside, the rest of the group continued to survey their surroundings, moving around to let the waitstaff pass them.

"At least, and I know this isn't much consolation, but apparently we're now surrounded by Chinese food. Right?" Lula stated, trying to find light in the situation at hand.

"That's true, I could go for a dumpling right now." Liv stated, watching as the waitress placed down a plate of dumplings at a table near them.

"Guys, I think where we are right now they don't refer to it as 'chinese food', I think they just call it...food." Merritt stated. The group looked around and the pieces of their surroundings began to come together like pieces in a puzzle.

"Wait, what are you saying? How is this possible?" Danny asked. BeforeMerritt could elaborate, a very loud and disturbing giggle broke the group from their trance.

"I believe in your particular palance, the word is magic." A man stated, lowering the menu away from his face and turning towards them. The group stood in shock as they looked over to a man looking identical to Merritt.

"That guy looks exactly like you! Like exactly like you! Are you seeing this right now?" Lula whispered to Merritt, pointing wildly at the man across from them.

"That's fucking creepy." Liv whispered to Danny as she tried avoiding eye contact with him. While the man may have looked like Merritt, there was something off about him. His whole demeanor had a particularly creepy vibe to him and the pearly white smile he was giving looked more like a serial killer grin than a friendly smile.

"Chase." Merritt greeted curtly.

"Must confess, it's like what I heard about meeting The Rolling Stones, they're a lot shorter in person." Chase admitted.

"Remember I told you guys about the guy who screwed me out of everything?" Merritt asked the group. "This is my twin brother, Chase." He introduced, pointing towards his estranged twin.

"Wait, did you do this?" Danny asked, taking a step closer towards Chase. As he did so, every patron in the restaurant stood up quickly, pulling out various weaponry as two large men grabbed Merritt, Jack and Lula. Liv rushed forward and pulled Danny back, gripping his arm and Danny pulled her in close, keeping a wary eye on the two men closest to him.

Chase, unphased by the sudden change in scenery, looked casually around the room. "As you can see, my boss don't mess around." Chase said mockingly, gesturing to the restaurant of hired thugs.

"Okay, I do not understand what is going on right now. At all!" Lula shouted, causing all of the Horseman to stare at her.

"Okay, let me break it down for you." Chase started, stepping towards the group. "You jumped off a rooftop in New York and landed in Macaus. AKA the Vegas of China and presto chanego and...don't you just love the "greatest magicians in the world" are the object of someone else's magic trick? Isn't that poetic?" He asked the group, receiving blank stares from them. "No, you know what? I'm not gonna let you guys ruin the magic…shoo shoo or moo shoo or whatever." Chase waved his hands, signalling the thugs to take the Horseman out of the restaurant.

"Oh and you know what they say, what happens in Macau….uh well I don't know the rest of it 'cause it's in Chinese….Oh well. Hey, thanks guys!" Chase said, following the thugs out of the restaurant.

Chase and his goons led the Horseman outside into awaiting black cars. Chase climbed into the front seat as he watched the Horseman being shoved into the back seats, with Lula and Jack sitting in the front two seats while Merritt, Danny and Liv were put in the back, a guard sitting in between the three.

As the Horsemen were driven away, Chase began to cryptically explain how they landed in Macau.

"It's all about blind spots. When you're staring straight and something and not see why? Blind spots." Chase stated, giving the group another creepy smile. "We learned that together, didn't we bro?" Chase asked Merritt, watching as his twin brother clenched his jaw tightly.

"Did he tell you that we were partners once? No? I didn't think so. 'The Mini-McKinney's" Chase explained. "Chasey and a Mer-Bear, gonna make you scare bear. Ma-ma magic, McKinney."

The group looked at Chase questionably before glancing over at Merritt, whose face was burning red.

"And then one day, we were twelve, and Virgina Von Welsheim had a very nice party down the street and I had a little tum tum and couldn't go. Mer-Bear did it on his own and got a taste of the solo thing and kicked me to the curb."

"Oh god." Jack muttered, throwing his head back. Just what we need. A crazed revenge twin.

"Okay, Chase, you win. I concede. Just tell me how you did it." Merritt pleaded. Chase let out another creepy giggle and turned towards his brother.

"Delivery guy came to your door about...a month ago, a little 'za?" Chase stated.

"Za?" Liv asked, looking between the two of them.

"Pizza." Danny growled, clenching his teeth.

Chase smiled widely as the two men began to realize how Chase had gotten into his apartment. "So what he did my little womb-mate, is he downloaded all your private information and my employer had all he needed." As Chase explained, the rest of the Horsemen turned to face Merritt, all giving him hard glares.

"Thanks." Danny said curtly and then turned towards Chase. "So, how did you know how to find him?"

"That's a very good question, Atlas." Chase pointed out, watching as Danny shifted uncomfortable at the mention of his last name.

The group was escorted tothe Sands Hotel, one of the largest and most extravagant hotels in all of Macau. As the cars circled towards the front entrance, the Horsemen gazed out the window at the glittering hotel, admiring the golden structure and painfully bright lights. As the cars came to a halt at the front of the hotel, Chase's thugs pulled the Horsemen out of the car and shoved them towards the entrance. As the group started to follow them, Chase called out from the passenger seat.

"Just follow the guards." Chase advised. "They'll take you to my boss. Been fun playing cat and mouse with you, broski. Have fun at the Sands." Chase gave one last smile before rolling the window up and driving away.

The Horsemen were ushered inside of the Sands lobby and led through the casino, where thousands of patrons were gambling, drinking and dancing, all enjoying the flamboyant and lavish nature that the casino offered them. The Horsemen gazed around at the unsuspecting patrons, wondering who Chase could be working for that could live in such an opulent hotel.

"I am so, so, so sorry, guys." Merritt apologized as they continued through the hotel.

"Ya, you should be. Don't ever accuse me of betraying us again, okay?" Danny snapped at Merritt. Danny felt Liv squeeze his hand hard.

"Danny!" She hissed at him and then looked over at Merritt. "It's not your fault, Merritt. He could have done that to any one of us. It happened and we need to move on and stick together." Liv stated to the group, looking right at Danny. Danny gave her hand a small squeeze.

The group was led into the elevator and watched as one of the men hit the button that was labeled PentHouse. As the door chimed closed, the group stood in the elevator as far apart from each other as they could, all clearly annoyed at the predicament that they landed themselves in. Lula bit her lip and rocked back on her heels, trying to figure out what to say.

"Do you guys ever think that the Eye is watching this? You know, maybe this is even what they want? At the exact right moment, they're gonna swoop in and we'll be like, 'Yes, thank you god, you're here just in the nick of time, Eye!' And then we'll just celebrate, and it was all worth it in the end?" Lula asked, trying to lift everyone's spirits. Instead, the group responded with a cold silence, everyone avoiding eye contact.

"No, I didn't think that either, so it's cool." She said, retreating back into herself and mentally kicking herself. Since she joined the group, she tried to fit herself into an already tightly knitted group and she found that every time she opened her mouth, she just pushed herself farther away from them. The only person she felt truly accepted her presence was Liv, who gave her a small smile after Lula's speech.

As the elevator slowed to a stop, Danny picked his head up as he heard muffled rock and roll music coming from the other side of the elevator. The doors opened, allowing the rock music to engulf the group as they looked over to see a young man standing on the balcony of the room, his back turned towards the group. The man was trying to flip a card from one hand to the other and as the card flew from his hand, he turned to see the Horseman standing curiously inside the elevator.

"Ah…Ta-Da! So happy to be working with you!" The man exclaimed, pushing a button on a remote in his hand, lowering the music. "Please, come in, come in." He stated, gesturing for the group to come in. The two large guards that had escorted the group to the hotel room, grabbed the Horseman, dragging them roughly from the elevator and into the room.

"Wait, wait, I'm sorry, how are you working with us?" Danny asked, trying to push one of the guards off him.

"Oh well, as much as a magician who pulls a rabbit from a hat, is working with that rabbit. We'll be working together. Yes." The man explained, strutting towards the group.

"Allow me to introduce myself-"

"Ya you're Walter Mabry." Liv stated, recognizing him instantly.

"You died a year ago." Jack finished.

Walter smiled. "Yes, an idea I got from you, Mr. Wilder." Walter explained, pointing towards Jack. "Fake your death and the world puts its guard down. I am able to control quite a few companies, including my old partner Owen's, as a….consortium of so called...anonymous shareholders." He explained.

"And...that violates how many SEC laws?" Lula asked.

"I believe it breaks all of them." Walter answered. "You see, you all want an audience." Walter started. "Need one, desperately. It's quite sad, really. Hence my ability to nab you. I, on the other hand, want the opposite of that. I just want to be, and I am 100% off the grid. You know why?"

"Yeah, because the grid is for actual human beings?" Liv responded, causing the group to chuckle.

"No." Walter stated, giving her a hard glare. "Because in a world of total surveillance, the only true freedom lies in not being seen. You can't control the grid from within the grid." Walter explained as he started down towards the large couch. "Follow me." He stated and then looked over his shoulder. "Follow me." He snapped, causing the group to be shoved forwards by the guards.

As the group followed Walter, he turned towards Lula. "You pulled a rabbit out of a hat, right?" He asked, bringing up Lula's most embarrassing memory.

"Almost eight and a half years ago, so no need to bring that up, okay." Lula stated.

"Well, we all can't be held accountable for our adolescence personas. Can we Magicolio?" Walter asked, looking over at Danny.

"Magicolio?" Liv smirked as she looked at Danny, watching as he was taken back.

"Magicolio? That was like, 15 years ago." Danny stuttered, taken back by his old stage name from high school.

"Oh, I wanna know the story behind that." Jack stated, chuckling at Danny's old stage name.

"Oh and let's not forget the adorable little twin-gicans." Walter pointed out, turning the spotlight on the Wilder twins. "The oversize hat and sports jacket, I'm guessing was from your….father?" Walter asked Jack, watching as Jack's body went rigid and his jaw clenched at the mere mention of his father. "And those little acro costumes? Ugh, how adorable." Walter mocked, looking over at Olivia.

"I was 12." Liv explained, crossing her arms over her chest. Liv wasn't ashamed of that time in her life, but she didn't like the idea of this man-boy having that information.

"Don't get me wrong." Walter started, taking a bite out of one of the cookies on the bar tray. "I love magic, like you and many others who I suppose were not getting any sex in high school."

"Maybe not you." Jack muttered, causing Liv to smack his chest lightly.

"I dabbled with it. But, unlike you, I was able to transition upwards towards actual magic." Walter stated, pointing over to a large computerized machine. "Science, you may call it."

As the group looked over towards the large machine, Walter began to circle the group. "So, would like to know, my friends, how you got here?" He asked smuggly.

"We know how you did it." Merritt stated, cooly.

"No, no you don't."

"Yeah, you stole our files for the show." Jack started.

"No, stop it."

"Then you obviously hypnotized us." Liv explained.

"No, no seriously stop it!" Walter threatened.

"The strobe was a combo of binaural beats as well as-"

"I said stop it!" Walter commanded, grabbing Merritts face. The group stepped back at Walter's sudden mood shift. "You may not be having fun but I am."

Merritt gave Walter an odd look. "You have a very unusual way of showing it."

"So." Walter began, slowly taking his hands away from Merritt's face. "How did I do it? Easy. You see, magicians like to control other people's perception, In your heightened state of agitation, you saw the simplest cues. Black tube, roof, and your minds filled in the rest. The tube you meant to go down was 20 feets to your right." Walter explained, walking down to stand in front of the large couch. "Go on, sit down there's not one standing in your way." He invited, gesturing for them to move towards the couch.

The Horseman plopped down onto the couch, squishing together as Walter continued to explain his master plan. "Once you were in the tube, you were right blah, blah, blah, the strobe contained UV letters pulsing the world sleep and that combined with the sound put you into an instant alpha patterned and from then on it was really just fun." As Walter explained, he sat himself between Jack and Liv, grabbing a remote from the coffee table in front of them. "And I can assure you, you don't know what happened." Walter finished, clicking a button that displayed the sentence, "Our trip to Macau" on the screen. A slow, vacation song played in the background as a slideshow of the Horseman unconscious on Walter's plane played on the screen. The pictures varied from them all piled together, to a photo of Danny playing chess with Walter and a very distrubing photo of Lula and Liv looking like they were kissing.

"That's creepy. Like really creepy." Lula whispered to Jack as they watched the slideshow.

"Allright, that's enough." Danny insisted, waving his hand at the screen. "Why are we here then? Besides you getting to show off how...adorable clever you are."

"Well, to start with." Walter clicked a button to show a photo of Arthur Tressler's company. "The man you stole from last year, turns out I had invested quite a lot of money into his companies, so a lot of what you stole was in fact mine." Walter explained.

"Oh christ." Liv muttered, placing her head in her hand.

"Good news is, it's very easy for you to pay me back. I just need your skills." Walter started, clicking another button to reveal a slideshow of him and Owen together. "Owen and I were like the Beatles, if the Beatles had been-"

"Elfin?" Jack asked.

"Geniuses." Walter finished.

"Pretty sure the Beatles were geniuses." Lula pointed out but was steamrolled by Walter's backstory.

"And like them, we had a dream. Could we create actual genuine magic?" Walter proposed.

"And I'm guessing one of you achieved that dream and it wasn't you?" Liv theorized.

Walter rolled his eyes and stood up to face the group. "That is what he would like you to think. My vision was a perfect blend of elegance, and technology. But Owen wanted it for himself so he humiliated me by exposing my private files to the Board of Directors and convinced them I was unstable."

"Did you take pictures of him while he was sleeping?" Liv asked.

"He had me kicked out of my own company and now he goes around taking credit for a chip that's not just the key to one computer but every computer system on the planet." Walter hissed. "It can un-encrypt anything, crack the defense firewall, manipulate markets and spy on anyone. And now...it's being sold to the highest bidder."

"If you're so rich, why don't you just buy it?" Jack asked, attempting to undermine Walter.

"So he gets the money?" Walter snapped. "And the pleasure? No. Besides, why would I buy it when you could steal it for me? It's being previewed tomorrow to the various suitors, which will include your targets." Walter pulled up a picture of a young man. "A crew led by a South African gangster."

"A South African gangster." Lula repeated, not believing this is what they've been kidnapped for.

"Yes. How your team gets past security, that's up to you. But once you do, you just need to inspect it and steal it." Walter finished.

"That's it?" Danny asked.

"Come on. This is perfect for you, isn't it. You're magicians and thieves." Walter pointed out.

"No we're not." Liv stated.

"We kinda are, Liv." Jack whispered to his sister, causing her to roll her eyes. Ignoring her, Jack looked back at Walter. "What makes you think we would even consider doing this?"

"Oh, um, wait...I had a reason..what was it?" Walter pondered. "Oh yes, see back home your wanted criminals, but here, I control the police, I control the casinos, the media. I can give you a new life, out of hiding." The group was silent for a moment. "Oh and if you don't, I'll have you killed."

"You know what?" Jack started, getting up and walking towards Walter.

"Jack!" Liv said, trying to grab her brother before he did something stupid. Jack shrugged off Liv's grasp and walked closer to Walter, crossing his arms over his chest.

"I'm not stealing a thing for you. Not unless Dylan tells me, it's okay." Jack insisted.

"Really? And Dylan is where, exactly?" Walter inquired.

"It doesn't matter." Lula responded, getting up and standing next to Jack. "I'm with him, you can go and kill us, because I'm not gonna steal anything for you either." Lula proclaimed.

Reluctantly, Merritt and Liv stood up and joined Lula and Jack. "Strikes me that a consensus seems to be forming, Walter and we're calling your bluff."

As the other Horseman stood up to Walter, Danny remained on the couch, contemplating Walter's offer. Danny knew that Macau has a history of magic and that maybe, there are some people here who can help them get away from the FBI and this arrogant man-boy.

Before Walter's thug could step near the group, Danny stood up. "We'll do it."

"What?" Liv asked as the group whipped around to look at Danny. Danny looked from Walter to the rest of the group.

"We're in Macau, the oldest magic store in the world is here. We'll get the supplies we need and we'll do it." Danny confirmed, reaching out his hand to Walter, who took it.

"Thank you." He said, shaking Danny's hand firmly. "This should be fun. I'll have my guards escort you to your rooms and then Chase will take you to the magic shop in the morning."
