The dark red clouds reigned over the skies, and the land bathed with blood. The blood ravens with their sharp beaks were feasting, the battle has ended and the evil has been defeated. All around the battlefield were thousands of corpses, the smell of death permeated through the air.

A titan was on the middle of the battlefield, dead. Only one soul left alive, and he was kneeling in front of the titan. He was able to throw the last blow, which finally killed the gigantic creature.

Ding!

[Congratulations! You Have Slain The Warden of Zeraph. The world has been cleansed. Do you wish to Continue? [Y/N]]…

The last surviving soul just smirked, he looked around him; the bodies of his subjects, foes, and his friends scattered. He was all that was left, he was a king, but now he is king to no one. Too exhausted to think, too exhausted to move, he had lived a long time, and had fought as long as he could remember. He focused on the blue box in front of him and whispered. "I just want to rest… yes….."

"[GAME OVER!]"

[Memories Unlocked]

[The Blessing of the First Celestial Obtained!]

[New Class Obtained: Plane Walker]

In that moment the dark red clouds slowly fade, pillars of light shone upon the earth for the first time, in a long time. In the middle of the battle field, the largest pillar of sunlight was hitting the dead king.

And this world that was once ruled by curse, was now free…

…..

…..

The night has befallen, and the darkness and cold reigns. On this part of the world, a man was lying on the earth. The man was facing the dirt beneath, and was deeply sleeping.

The man was a ruler of a cursed kingdom, and before death claimed him.

The cold air was the thing that woke him up. He opened his eyes, and saw the earth and grass. The darkness gave him a little to realize where he was. He pushed himself against the earth, and he sat up, he tried to look around the dark. He only saw vague figures around him, since mostly everything was engulf in darkness.

The clouded reflective light of the moon could do so much, especially if it's on the middle of the night. He tried to remember how this came to be, only to remember vague memories, quite confusing on his

current position.

The last thing he could remember was defeating someone... or is it something?, Whatever it was it was

a battle to the death. I could remember every battle I had was to the death. I remember dying, and dying. I was always die, yet every time I rise to the ashes.

Filled with confusion, he slowly stood up, and he looked at his hands. He tried to remember more, but different memories were overlapping.

He suddenly felt pain in his head, his hand enveloping his head tightly even if it did not help with the pain. He writhed in pain for a few seconds, until he remembered something with the pain.

A world where life was much brighter, and in another was filled with bloodshed and monsters. A world, so much difference, compared to each other. His nose started bleeding, the agonizing pain on his head continued. When the pain was too much to bear, his eyes rolled backwards in a couple of seconds, and finally his conscious faded.

...

In a dream, a recollection of few memories played, within the lost soul of his unconscious mind.

Inside a hospital room, his family gathered around his bed. They were all grieving, while the children were confused. The room has different machines that could be heard, machines that could extend a life, but only for a short period of time.

The one that first spoke, has her tears falling from her face, and it was her oldest daughter.

"Dad everything will be alright now... rest now, dad...Thank you, for everythi..."

...

The next thing he dreamed was a place filled with darkness. Monsters were everywhere; lost souls were roaming without any purpose, they fade with time in a cursed world.

He fought, and fought. Without stopping he fought, for purpose is what he seeks, for a life that was slowly being forgotten.

He died only to wake up once more, only to die once again, for something... unknown. Was it to

survive?. Or was it for power?. Or peace?.

He fought monsters, demons and even people who tried to end him. He knew that he did it for a purpose. He fought for a purpose….

The only thing he knew is that all the souls in this world were trapped of the curse that bound them.

Where souls, and eternal curse were one and the same.

..

Memories kept popping on his dream, trying to adapt into a single entity; the memories of a man and the memories of a hollow. After all, memories is what makes us, us.

The night was spent dreaming, trying to co-exist together, and creating something new, something...more.

...

The sun has started to rise, while the creatures of the dark started its slumber. A man in the middle of the forest was still asleep; his dream of memories will soon end. After all a souls are quite sensitive to such things.

The non-nocturnal creatures have started to wake up, and get out of their nests. The birds started to sing, and the sound of nature started to play.

The sleeping man started to awake, his consciousness slowly returns. He had remembered everything. The once two memories were now one. He looked at his hands once again, and was quite happy that his skin was not the skin of an undead. Unlike his skin when he was a hollowed, features of an undead could be seen, and thus his sense of taste were also quite dull.

He started to push again against the earth, and stood up. He grabbed the earth and slowly gripped it, he smiled widely, and a drop of tear fell into the earth. He was happy at the same time mourning; he remembered his past, before that cursed world, he also remembered his fallen comrades that fought with him.

A couple of minutes have passed, before he got his emotions in order. He looked around even though it was dark, and inhaled deeply and smelled the fresh air. He also realized that there is no aura of curse that permeated through the air.

He asked himself is this the result of defeating the last demon? Or this is heaven?

He looked his body, and what he was wearing. Currently he is just wearing some tattered clothes, so he opened his system.

Name: Mike Esguerra/ Cornillius Class: Deprived/Plane Walker Soul Available: 172,900,000

Level: 1

[Vig - 99] [End -99] [Vit -99] [Adap- 99][Str -99] [Dex -99] [Int -99][Faith -99] [Att-99]

He clicked another tab. This time it was his inventory. He maneuvered trough his system menu, like he had done it a thousand times before.

He equipped a maxed out equipment just in case; a simple knight armour set would do the job. As he clicked equip the set of armour, the tattered clothes suddenly changed into an armour. It was not shocking to him, since he was doing it, for god knows how many years.

He did not wear the helm. Since he wanted fell the fresh air on his face. Unlike the cursed land he ruled, where a place filled with corruption and curse, the air itself is disgusting.

He checked his system inventory once again. Scanning for all the different items he owned. He saw thousands of them, Items that was valuable and useless to him.

Describing him with the items he had, you could say that he was a hoarder. Thousands of items were inside; Armour sets, consumables, magical rings and weapons, even monster parts were not an exception Different scroll spells of Sorcery, pyromancy and miracles, were also there.

There were also something different with his menu. One of them was the keys, the words of an 'ERROR' were written, instead of the name of the keys. The magic item Estus flask for healing has also changed, now it is self sufficient healing potion. Instead of finding primal fire to recharge, it could now be recharge by itself. A single charge a day is not bad as you think.

There were also two new tabs available, 'Store' and 'Level up'. It seems I could still become stronger here.

On that cursed land, my status and level could not go higher. The stats could only go as high as 99 was, and level 838 was the same. So I instead sharpened my technique.

When I saw how much souls were required to level up, my eyes bulged. It took a billion souls, just to level up a single time. I just sighed out of defeat.

I took out a single regular throwing knife on my inventory, and just to tried something. I saw a little rabbit near me, eating some unknown plant. I threw out the knife towards it in a flash. With a pinpoint accuracy, I hit its head. I witnessed a familiar scene. A white orb of light went out of the rabbit's body, and then it flew towards me. I looked on how many souls it gave. It was just one, a single soul.

It just gave a single soul, and very much expected of an omnivore.. It seems that the rabbit has never killed anything, only the grass that it munched on.

I put the corpse of the rabbit, and my throwing knife into my inventory. It will be preserved until I take it again to eat. Then I took out an enchanted broadsword and your basic staff. All the stats were all maxed out, of course.

I also wore some enchanted rings, which could definitely boost my physical and magical abilities.

The Ring of steel protection +3, is for enhancement of my physical defense. The Spell quartz ring +3, for magical defense. The ring of restoration +3, for health regeneration. The Old Leo ring, to increase the chance of success to counter attack, it's just in case some surprises. The maximum of rings that could be worn were four. I learned that a hard way. I tried that once, I wore five enchanted rings. I suddenly felt an absolute pain throughout my body, and immediately removed one of them.

Multiple enchantments strains the human body, and possibly the soul itself? I do not know exactly how it works. One of the enchanters I knew said; Body Enchantments could only so much, without straining

the body. You should also not wear a ring with the same enchantments.

When he was ready to travel this unknown land, he followed his guts, and moved towards where the sun started to rise.

…..

This forest was indeed different, compared to any forest where I came from. The trees on earth and on the cursed world were smaller, compared to the trees in here. This forest was filled with life, too much life if you ask me, the insects were getting troublesome. The trees were twice the size of the biggest trees I have ever seen, the wild life was also thriving. I truly wished this was earth. My first memory was on earth, and it was more peaceful, well not all peaceful around the world, but mine was. Before I died I knew about those RPG games that my grandson plays. I was too old to enjoy such things. If I had my memories when I was on that cursed world, I could have ruled more wisely... And kindly.

But alas, I have this third life. Thanks to that... was it a God or an ancient being. I vaguely remember, someone was talking about the gods like they were nothing to him.

Never mind that, you have a third chance, and I will not waste it by thinking things out of my control.

Anyway, where the hell am I?. I am walking in a straight line for a while, and I have not seen anyone. I am getting worried. Just a while ago a dark aura has been getting stronger. The vegetation was slowly dying. The creatures were also becoming more aggressive, but they were easily taken care of. There were also undead, time to time.

An hour has passed, and I arrived on a castle, a crumbling one, and dozens of holes on the walls. There were also destroyed siege towers, and a broken gate. The only thing that was moving here were the undead, and it numbered in hundreds.

This scenery of the undead was quite familiar. I drew out my sword and my staff, and went through the horde of undead. The undead were just low level zombies, each undead gave off ten soul points. I even tried some spells. I even tried to use greater heal on the horde of undead, which instantly turned them into ash.

Inside the walls were filled with either zombies or skeleton. The undead was unable to do any damage to him. Their attack damage was negligible to overcome his defenses. He did not even activate the ring of restoration. It seems my defense was too high for them.

When I entered the walls, it was indeed populated by the undead. I was able to feel the epicenter of the corrupter aura, or something close to that. It was on the castle in the middle of this place.

There was nothing to see in this place. The buildings inside the tall walls were already crumbling. This place was quite huge, but still small compared to my city. While eliminating the undead approaching, I opened my inventory, and then took out three small white sign soapstone.

A consumable item, that is use to summon a spirit. It could be a warrior, mage or any class, and the only

down side is you could not choose. The strength of the spirit also depends on the soul you sacrifice. I use the sign soapstone and wrote summon, I.

Three bright lights shone where he wrote the signs, and three souls were summoned; Loe, an explorer, Ralph, a knight, and Kira, a magic warrior. They were all humanoid, and each wore different armor and clothes, which were based on their class.

Currently they were just kneeling, they never act or move without any command. They indeed followed any orders that you give, but when the order was accomplished they will be unsummoned. That is the only downside of this type of summons. They were one use summons.

I looked at them, and I could feel something was wrong, they somehow look more... alive. Let's see

what happens.

" Leo, take the left. Ralph, take the right. Kira, take the middle. Eliminate all the undead you see, and then go to the castle to meet up."

They all replied at the same time."Yes, my lord."

Then they all stood up, and immediately went to their designated paths. Just a couple of minutes have passed, and hundreds of souls of lights flew towards three locations to me. His soul points slowly but steadily rose. He continued walked towards the castle, to meet the one who ruled this undead city.

The corpse of the undead were all scattered all over the road. This kingdom maybe once a beautiful place, whatever siege this place destroyed that all it is. A couple more minutes has passed, and he was already nearing the castles gates. The soul on the middle where I sent Kira has stopped.

Noises of metal hitting metal could be heard near the castle. It seems that Kira was currently fighting someone. I entered the castle, and lead directly to the hallway. The hallway looked like a throne room, and dozens of figures were present, Kira was currently fighting 11 of them. Ten of the enemies were skeletal knights. They were two meter on height, and with very heavy armour. Still, Dozens of the enemy forces has already been dealt with.

Kira was a level 120 magic warrior, which seems to be enough for this fight. One of the dozen enemies looked like an undead sorcerer. Kira moved an inch to the left, and easily dodging the incoming dark magic. She immediately charged towards another undead knight. She swung her sword toward the enemy, and sliced through its armour, like a hot knife on butter.

The undead sorcerer suddenly spoke, with a hoarse voice.; "Who are you...? Who dare to invade the king's castle?" He then flung another dark spell, which was easily evaded by Kira.

Kira defeated the last of the undead knight, by casting a [soul arrow]. The undead was already backing up, conjuring different spells towards Kira. Which Kira easily blocked with her enchanted shield.

I spoke out loud inside the room;"Kira, Halt!"

Kira suddenly stopped and looked at the direction of the voice, and immediately jumped backwards, away of the current battle. The Undead sorcerer looked at the same direction. I walked towards the undead sorcerer, each step made the sorcerer more uneasy of the man. The first one to speak was the sorcerer; "W..who are you?"

"My Name is… Mike. And who might you be?"

"I... I am the court mage of Intra. My name is... was..."

He looked his vacant left hand, and said; "I... I can't remember, was it Ghor. Yes, I am Ghor... and I... I must... Protect... the king." He looked at us once again, with the same hostile aura like before. "How dare you invade the king's castle!, DEATH!" it once again cast another spell.

It seems he is far gone, only rage and darkness remains. This was the fate of the undead, living as an undead without the strength to fight it. He was unable to use Human effigy to such a lost one. Human Effigy is a consumable for undead, able to retain humanity and hold on into your memories.

This man in front of me has only a little part of his soul left, and has become undead far too long. I raised my staff into the air, and cast Greater Soul appease. White light burst out through the staff, and enveloped the whole throne room for a moment. Kira covered her eyes, and I closed mine. When the bright light had faded, the lost soul of the undead sorcerer went through me.

Thousands souls, that's how much worth his soul is. Another lost soul that needed to rest. Only a low level staff, tattered robes, and a ring were left, where the sorcerer once stood. It seems that rest of the undead were dying, the hundreds of undead was probably his.

Such a number of summons, he was quite a talented undead. Three hundred thousand undead died, based on my estimate of the soul points I received.

I put the staff on my inventory, and left the tattered robes. The ring was indeed enchanted, and has a chaotic enchantment at that.

"[The Ring of the dead]

[This ring was forged by a great undead necromancer, and is a creation of vengeance. The user will be able to summon an army of undead, in exchange with the user becoming an undead.].

This ring is useless until its criteria have been met. If the life of the bearer perished, the curse of the dead shall activate. Vengeance is the key for this ring. Vengeance is its purpose, death is its purpose.]

I see it is a cursed ring, such dangerous ring. I stored it to my inventory, and continued to explore the castle. But alas, only empty rooms and dust greeted me. This place was either looted thoroughly, or ravaged by time itself.

In the middle of the day, rows of undead soldiers could be seen marching on the forest. Captain Ronald, a level 80 ghoul general was currently riding on a skeletal horse, and currently leading an army of undead soldiers, mages and knights.

The skeletal soldiers wore a roman styled armors, their weapons were all the same. The Mages are the back of the soldiers, and some of them were even inside a black carriage. The undead mages were equipped with enchanted robes with leather armor, and a magical staff at hand. They also have short sword at their waist, just in case close combat was inevitable. The undead knights were equipped with enchanted steel armor, and were all equipped with an enchanted long sword and a shield.

The flag with the emblem of the undead Empire waved through the air, and the army of the dead marched.

Their destination was deep inside the Helm Forest. Where coalitions of different kingdoms have fled, they consist of different races who escaped the wrath of the empire.

The elven kingdom has given them refuge in their lands, but has no forces to spare to aid them. The elven kingdom was next country that the undead empire has set its eyes upon. They are currently gathering their forces, to protect each of their cities and their capital.

The last forces of the coalition army and refugees had successfully established a stronghold there. The scouts have also informed the captain that the city of undead was still active. There were thousands of uncontrollable undead, and were roaming inside the city, and near its vicinity.

A year ago this city was filled with life, but was invaded by the empire's forces. When the empire has finished pillaging, and taking the elven citizen as slaves, one of the generals used this place for some kind of experiment. The item and spell that was tested was created by the undead emperor himself.

They were now an hour or so near the fallen elven city. The elimination of the last remnant of the coalition was not only their mission, but also harassing any villages and city in the elven territory.

When they were able to eliminate the coalition forces, the other companies of the empire will follow. This time we will attack the nearby cities, and all the companies will converge to the elven capital. The coalition consists of the few forces of the fallen countries, and the other countries that see the empire as a threat. The country of elves is one of those that supported the coalition; Camelot, the kingdom of dwarves, Democratic Alliance, and more countries.

The coalition have definitely have taken a toll crossing this path, but he have no confirmation, only speculation.

While they travel, the general had started to realize the corpses of the undead. They littered the surroundings time to time. The undead corpse's numbers were rising, as they traverse the cursed forest. He realized that someone has been fighting the undead. Is this the work of the coalition?

….

Mike has finished the tour of the whole castle, and there was nothing note worthy. The castle was filled with dust, and rotting wood and cloths. I did find some bloodied equipments and weapons, the blood seems fresh compare to the whole city. I put it all inside my inventory. Some of the weapons have no enchantments, but still in good quality.

It seems that the people own this equipments and weapons have passed away recently. Their death was definitely on the hands of the undead sorcerer. I took out a chime on my inventory, and used [Unveil] spell to locate any living soul. And it seems that there are none, except my summons that are currently inside the throne room.

There were even consumables. There are few bottled liquid with two different colors, and according to the system they were healing and stamina potions.

I went back on the throne room once again. The summoned trio was already on there, talking to each other. That's not right, normally they never talk, and specially ever mingle on the past. They did not even show the slight emotion, did sending me here change more than my system? It seems that change was always inevitable, especially when reincarnating on another world.

When they saw me they immediately stopped talking, and bowed. "My Lord, what are your orders?"

I just stood in front of them, and bowed a little to show my respect."There are nothing at the moment, and thank you for the help. "

Ralph was the one to reply." We are just doing our job, my lord."

"I see… now, one of you tell me, why are you still here? Your commands have been fulfilled."

Leo was the one to reply; "What do you mean my lord? We are here to serve you, until our end. "

It seems that there are also changes in summons. Mike spoke; "Where were you all exactly before I summoned you?"

"I remember nothi'n before I was summon'ed." said Ralph, with an accent.

"Same here my lord." said Kira

Mike grunted a little, as he processed the information. "Could you unsummon yourself, could you not?"

Kira replied; "No, we don't think so. Do you wish us to be unsummon my lord?"

"No! I don't mean that. I am just curious about this changes of you summons. I ask for forgiveness."

They once again look at one another, then back to me.

Kira spoke. "We are summoned, and we are bound to serve you. Our lord"

I straightened my posture and also my voice, and said."I see... Then I will need your company. This is a new land for me, and I need some companions to explore this new world. I will ask you and not

command you. Do you wish to explore this world?"

They replied differently, but their answers were the same.

"If you'll have me, I'll join your adventure." said Ralph

"Same here!" said Leo

"If my Lord wishes, I'll be on his side." said Kira

Mike smiled and said. "Then, on ward we go."

Mike was the first to exit the castle; they went opposite to where he just entered. Which is the south gates, and the gates of this side of the wall were also broken.

They continued to walk towards the south, entering the thick forest once again.

Unbeknownst to them, there was an undead army at their backs.

...

The 24th company has arrived in front of the fallen city. The wall was as smaller than the walls of the empire's capital. The soldiers are currently standing still, while others were readying the siege weapons. Since the sun has already set, his soldiers have no trouble fighting in the dark.

Captain Ronald's tent was being erected, on the middle of the camp. He did not need to rest nor sleep, but it is more of a gesture than usefulness. He has summoned already the sergeants of each regiment; they were to meet here an hour or so. They need to plan a strategy, on how to e...

Ronald's thoughts were interrupted by vice captain, he was a level 58 undead knight. "Sir, I am here for a urgent report! It's from our scouts."

"What is it?"Captain Ronald asked.

"Sir.. It seems that the fallen city is empty, there are thousands of undead bodies scattered inside. The scouts went deeper and deeper, but no present undead were seen. Also 23 dead bodies of the skeleton Knights were discovered, they were located on inside the castle. "

He was shocked; it seems that someone has indeed defeated the undead. "How about the coalition, are there any signs of them?"

"Yes sir. We discovered some bags with dried blood, but they were empty, probably theirs."

He did not know if the one that fought here were them, or was it some other unknown forces.

"Is that all?"

"Yes sir."

"Then you're dismissed."

The messenger saluted, and then got out of the captain's tent.

Captain Ronald has so many questions. He was not angry about the fallen undead, but worried about the people who defeated it. He was now deep in thought. He feels the unease of uncertainty, and needs to report this to the generals.

...

BANG!

BANG!

BANG!

Loud noises could be heard inside the forest, the earth shook accompanying it. Four humans were currently fighting something; five huge trolls were their foes. Towering at least three meters, with bulging muscles, and equipped with a literally a tree, with roots still intact. These trolls were only wearing a loincloth, to cover their privates. These creatures were a factory of pure force.

The fight just began a couple minutes ago. Mike tried to communicate with them, but it seems they were only seen as a pest or something. One of them tried to swat him while he was still talking, but Mike immediately unsheathed his sword, and then single handedly swung the sword. The attack easily sliced through the troll's arm, and it screamed in pain.

Instead of writhing in pain, the troll just raised its other arm to attack. Mike casted [Soul Spear] towards the troll. The upper part of the troll bursts, and the other trolls witnessed the death of their comrade. Instead of running, they all screamed in rage and still charged into us.

They were indeed large, but it seems that they were not smart. Kira who was now equipped with a long bow, was firing at the trolls. Each arrow that flew was extremely lethal, and all the arrows all found the vital parts.

All the troll could do was to swing its tree, but Kira was able to dodge the swings. These trolls have quite high vitality, even if they have low intelligence. When Kira lost all her patience, she just unsheathed her sword, and cut off the trolls head, killing it immediately.

Ralph was fighting the other one. He was currently equipped with his Drangelic shield, and a 'Lighting long sword. The troll swung at Ralph, which he blocked easily. Ralph then closed the gap and swung his sword, decapitating the troll easily.

Leo also defeated one of the trolls, but not as easily as the others but still too fast. He was using a poisonous dagger, and sometimes using poisonous throwing knives.

Currently Leo was an expert in navigation, since he has a compass, and a sense of direction. That means we are not going on circles, and leading us somewhere.

The sunset was near, and we need to set a camp. We will do that, but first we need to clean up this mess.

My opponents were easily subdued. I took out two [winged spear] on my inventory, a spear with extra guard near its pointy end. I threw both the [Winged Spear] towards the trolls, hitting them exactly on their foreheads. The earth shook, as their headless bodies fell. When the fight was over, we cleaned our weapons, and stored the troll's corpses on my inventory.

"We'll camp for now."

"Aye, Boss", said Leo.

I took out four sleeping tents on my inventory, and gave each one of them. Ralph made a camp fire on the middle of the camp. While I took out four rabbit meat and grilled it. I took out four corpses of the rabbits, skinned it, and then cleaned it. I used a water stone to clean the blood, then finally cooked it. The night was quite, the constant noise of the crickets and time to time a howl could be heard. I took out a [Charmed coin] on my inventory, just in case beasts or monsters are nearby.

[Charmed Coin] is a charm to repel any types of beasts or monsters. It is blessed by one of the priestess of the goddess Lea, the goddess of protection.

We are in a new world, I am a little doubtful of the charm's affectivity.

"I will be the first watch, just to be sure, in case this charm doesn't work." I said.

Everyone agreed and so the night passes. The shift was two hours each.

...

The Kingdom of Drangleic has a new king, for the old king had gone mad. Time made him forget who he once was, a king who was once adored by his subject. The land where he ruled started to rot, for he has forgotten who he once was. The memories fade as time pass, where even the undead fades to eternity. If the king forgets, his subjects shall also forget.

Memories of old, be gone, for king Vendrick has fallen.

The land has started to fade, and one soul tried to fight his fate. The new king shall rise once more, master of blade and magic he is. He will slay the demons of the curse, and he will end the long lived curse.

King Cornelius became the new ruler, he was able to defeat all the old king's cursed subjects. He was once a weak undead, he fought the monster of the dark. Then the land once again remembered, and the primal fire once again lit. The memories stayed, but the ones that lost it cannot be regain.

The land once again returned to its glory, for the new king is here and he ruled.

King Cornelius was his name, the slayer of Kings, the Undying King, and his legacy of ending the curse.

The birds were chirping, and the cold wind of the morning dew was ever present. In the vast green field, you could see hundreds of tents, which surrounds a wooden fortification. They are the last remnant of the coalition of fallen kingdoms, and some if their citizens have followed them.

David was one of them. He was a son of a shepherd, and a seamstress. They are now currently one of many refugees that joined the coalition, who are escaping the undead empire.

He was a proud brother of two sisters. Their parents have been killed by the undead of the empire. Currently he will be helping his aunt Gee to tend the herd of sheep, since David was still thirteen he was unable to join the coalition army. The husband of aunt Gee was currently drafted on the army, and on duty guard of the walls. David and her sisters were currently living with them, his aunt and uncle has no children, which made it perfect as a help on the house.

The boys on the village, who turned to age, were drafted to the army, to be trained in sword and bow, just in case the empire attacks.

He wished to be strong, strong enough to protect the people he loved. But there are only limited career paths for them, especially in this time of crisis. Their heroes and stronger fighters has either died or captured by the empire, which made the coalition weaker. The enchanted items that the coalition possessed could be counted by fingers, and the addition with limited potions, making it more hopeless.

David was a Level 12 Farmer, with half a dozen skills. [Enhanced Endurance] and [Enhanced Strength] was two out of six. He even has a skill about farming, which makes it easier to tend the farm animals of his aunt. His sisters were also helping to clean the house, even though they were still eight.

Since her little sisters were still too young, they were still able to do small work.

The day was perfect, or supposed to be.

The bright sky suddenly darkened, and then the air felt very cold. In each living being there is that ability to sense danger, especially to such powerful malice.

Everyone on the refugee camp felt it. The bell on the fortified walls rang, everyone immediately ran inside the fortification. The fortification was not a tall wall, but there were coalition soldiers and adventurers able to defend. They may be only few, but at least they have some hope.

The defenders felt their danger sense activating, and planned to defend the walls. Their families and friends were in here, it's not just their life that was at stake. That thought made David feel a little secure, that someone was to defend them against the incoming danger. David and his aunt were still inside their house. David and his aunt brought farming tools as weapons, then went straight inside the walls with his sisters.

Then they came. An army of them, and when the defenders saw their foes, they fell in despair.

The last general of the coalition felt his skill detect danger activate, he immediately gave the command to ring the bell. He has the responsibility to protect the king, and the people. The king would normally make decisions, but the king was too young, he was just twelve. He became king a month ago, when King Luis Rolette the third was killed by the undead knights.

When he saw the Abominations his blood drained, these creatures were not from this world. The Abominations were creatures created by the undead emperor himself. They were something else, something evil, and the empire's elites. These creatures first showed up on the first coalition war.

Five years ago no one has ever heard the undead empire. The Holy kingdom discovered a city out of nowhere in their territory, and they discovered there were creatures of dark. They sent an army to subjugate the city, and a crusade of four of the seven orders; the order of faith, the order of hope, the order of light, and the order of dark. This was enough to destroy any kingdom that surrounds them, but not this city of evil.

They are enchanted by the Holy Father himself, blessed by the gods they believed. They have the weapons, magic, and even the resources to burn the city, or so they thought. There were never ending hordes of undead that came out of the city gates. The size of their city could never fit such forces, yet each wave they got stronger, and the Holy Order and their army got weaker. There were dozens of variety of undead, some did not even know existed. The Order of light was the first to fall, then the Order of hope.

In the end the last dark creature showed ended the Crusade. The one who ended it were the Abominations. The Abominations swatted the regular soldier like flies, and flew into the air. The Captain of the Dark Order tried to fight two of them, and he was able to kill just one. Which took a huge toll on the captain, and it exhausted him. He was killed just a moment later.

The Order of Hope ended with the same results. In just a few minutes the four Holy orders were no more. There were only few survivors left, and the Holy kingdom was unable to accept the loss. The Holy kingdom tried to summon the neighboring kings, but it was too late. In just a few days the undead empire amassed such large force, and was able to destroy the villages, cities and lastly the capital easily.

The Abominations were not monsters like the goblins, Ogres or Orcs. Their body parts were more mismatched or mutated. They have scales on some part of their skin, and the half part is a tree bark. Their teeth are sharp like any metal, yet others have none. Others have no eyes, while others have too much. Some even have bat like wings, and sharp claws.

Each of these Abominations has different varieties of deformities or mutations. The only thing they have in common was that they all have horns, it may be in different numbers or locations, but they all have horns.

On that day he imagined the attack on his village, he tightly gripped the farming tool on his hand. The soldiers of the coalitions were low in morale, the human defenders were able to fight some, but they were too strong. They only have mages left, and only few knew martial skills.

The twenty archers fired their bows, the arrows flew true, but the thick skin and some of their scales deflected the arrows. One of the archers was able to use a skill, and was able to kill one of the Abominations. The other Abominations stopped and looked at their fallen comrade, their attention came back to the human defenders. Then their faces crunched with rage, and then they charged.

The defenders took a step backward, but they regain their courage and form. The archers were firing at the charging Abominations, but not a single Abomination was hit. Three meters was left and the front liners braced themselves, they saw how strong they were, and they knew how this will end.

The first one just arrived in front of them, and they saw its face, they saw horror. The Abomination was smiling; the smile was filled with malice. Then some unexpected intervention happened.

A great arrow suddenly flew towards on the field, between the forest and the village. The great arrow hits the charging abomination, the defenders were in shock. The defenders started to notice the other Abomination fell, and then one after another, each fallen abomination had huge arrows embedded on them.

A few arrows blew apart the Abomination's limbs. The defenders were having mixed feelings. They were still glad that they would not be confronting the Abominations, especially on close combat. Just thinking about fighting such monsters, with their strength was insane.

The Abominations were all massacred, even the ones that tried to escape. When every Abomination was on the ground, the culprit of such scene showed up, inside the other side of the forest four figures approached the village. The defenders were still at guard, and waiting for their saviors to introduce themselves.
