As Cinderella woke up, she looked through the window to see the sun shining through the tinted screen. She got up and dressed herself, walking downstairs to say goodbye to her father. He was going away for a while to a land far away, to make money for the family. Cinderella hugged him goodbye. And as soon as he was gone, her stepmother immediately demanded that Cinderella go inside and help the two stepsisters with their chores. "Get inside, girl." Said her stepmother. Cinderella went inside and she sighed. "cinderella clean up the fireplace." Said one of the stepsisters. The other stepsister pushed a tea cup off of the table with an "Oopsie daisy! Clean it up Cinderella!" Both the stepsisters chuckled. Cinderella cleaned up the mess without hesitation. At the end of the day, Cinderella had cleaned everything inside of the house. She had even weeded the garden. As she walked up to her room, sore from all the work, she thought about her father, hoping he was ok. She walked in, falling onto her bed. She fell asleep, dreaming about the princess, of whom she wished she could love. She woke up to the sound of her stepsisters screaming at her. "Cinderella make me my dress!" Said the step sisters in unison. She got up, about to snap from all of her stepsister's demands. "CINDERELLA! MAKE MY DRESS. NOW!" Said the first step sister. The other step sister crossed her arms and scoffed. Cinderella got up and walked out of the room, going to find the fabrics for the new dresses. Oh she grabbed the fabrics and headed to sewing machine, her stepmother stopped her. "Cinderella. I have such horrible news, your father. He was involved in an accident. He didn't survive. At least now that he's gone, we can make some changes around here. Isn't that wonderful?" The step mother laughs as Cinderella rushes away holding back tears. She ran to the sewing machine, she fell on the floor dropping the fabrics. She put her head in her hands and weep. She didn't know what to say, she didn't know what to do. Still crying, she got up and started sewing the dresses. One of the stepsisters past her by laughing. "You're so pathetic Cinderella." kept laughing and she walked away. Cinderella kept sewing, crying her eyes out. Practically soaking the fabrics. Not only was Cinderella sad, but she was angry. She wanted revenge on her stepsisters and stepmom so bad. And she planned on getting it. Later that evening she went to bed, crying. and wishing that she got to see her father one last time. The next morning she woke up to the sound of her stepsisters screaming. She got dressed came out of bed and went to go see the commotion. "What's going on?" She asked. " The royal ball, and it's tomorrow night!" Said the first. "The princess is going to choose a man to be her husband." Said the second. " and both of them were invited. It says all girls in the house. but you... You're more like a peasant. Stay home and clean up the house. And I expect those dresses to be done by tonight, you hear?" Said stepmother. Cinderella sighed and walked away. She wished she could go. But there's no way her stepmother would let her… As she finished up the dresses, She hummed a tune and thought about what it would be like to talk to the princess. She hung up the newly made dresses, then walked up to her room quickly falling asleep. As she woke up she remembered what day it was. It was the royal ball, and she could already hear her stepsisters screaming about it. Yet, again. She walked downstairs, I noticed that the stepsisters had ripped up the dressers Cinderella made for them. There were two other dresses hanging up, she figured it came from the local shop. She could tell they were expensive. " what did you do? Why did you rip up the dresses I made. I worked hard on those for you!" Said Cinderella. " honestly, they were absolute trash. And my girls would never wear something as hideous as they were. Clean up the shreds. I don't want to see that anywhere." Said the stepmother. Cinderella scoffed and went to clean up the table and get ready for breakfast. That evening, with the stepsisters in their elegant dresses, and stepmother tagging along too, Cinderella watched as they got into the carriage. She sighed and watched them drive away. "I wish I could go to the ball too.." poof! A strange creature appeared in front of Cinderella. "Who are you?" Asked Cinderella. "Why, I am your fairy godmother. I am here to grant your wish!" Said the fairy. "Oh! But how?" Said Cinderella. "With a little bit of magic, dear!" "But look at me, I'm wearing a dirty outfit, and ash in my hair! And how dusty my face must be too!" Said Cinderella, worried. "You are right, but there's always something to do about that, dear!"She bopped her wand right on top of Cinderella's head and how bright it became before Cinderella had a beautiful dress on, and her hair done well. They both smiled. "Thank you, dairy godmother!" She said. "Who said I was done, dear?" She pointer her wand to the road and whooped it in the air, making a beautiful carriage appear. "Is this a dream?!" Cinderella said. "Real as ever, dear! But there's a downside too. When the clock strikes at midnight, this all disappears. So, make it home before midnight darling!" Cinderella nodded and thanked the fairy as she disappeared in thin air. "Coming?" Said the driver. Cinderella entered the carriage and headed to the ball. Meanwhile in the castle, the princess kept being brothered my her parents to choose one of the young men to dance with. The thing is, she didn't like men. And right as the saw Cinderella wall in, she gasped. "What is SHE doing here mother?!" said one of the stepsisters. The stepmother growled and said "Cinderella returns home immediately!" Cinderella ignored her. The princess rushes over the Cinderella and introduced herself. "Hello, I'm Princess Charming. It's lovely to meet you." Said the princess. Cinderella Bowes and said "it's lovely to meet you, princess. My name is Cinderella." The Princess smiled. "May I have this dance, Cinderella?" Everyone gasped. The princess's parents were shocked. Everyone froze. Cinderella said yes and started dancing with the princess. Everyone was whispering. "But she's a girl!" "What on earth?" "Is this a joke?!" Cinderella and the princess payed them now mind. They gazed into each others eyes and smiled as everyone else was still frozen, trying to process what was happening. The princess's dad walked over and pushed them apart. "What on earth?! Dancing with another woman? Find a young man. This isn't time for jokes, young lady!" Said the princess's father. "This isn't a joke, father!" The princess said as she grabbed Cinderella by the waist and kept dancing, ignoring her father. Cinderella smiled and they danced for a while. After the dance, they went outside by the pond and talked. "The only reason this ball happened, is because of my parents. They assume I want something, but really it's the opposite. I'm glad I met you, Cinderella." Said the princess as they sat on the pond bench, talking. "I'm glad you payed mind to me too, Charming. You are the first person in a long time to make me this happy. I've never felt this way before." Cinderella said. "When can I see you again?" Said the princess as the bell started going off. It was midnight. "I must have forgot! I have to go! I'm so sorry!" Cinderella ran faster than ever. "Wait!" Said the princess. Cinderella tripped and a glass slipper fell of, landing on the stairs as she ran. Right while she was going home, all of it disappeared. She was back in her dirty clothes and her dusty face. She made it home a couple minutes after. She ran into the house immediately noticing her stepmother and her step sisters standing right in front of her. "Cinderella. I thought I made it clear that you were not allowed to go to the ball. And especially dance with the princess!" Said her stepmother as Cinderella closed the door behind her. One of the stepsisters grabbed Cinderella by the hair and spit right in her face. Cinderella pushed her to the ground making a thud on the hard wood floor. "CINDERELLA! DO NOT TREAT YOUR SISTER THAT WAY!" Said stepmother. "She isn't my sister. And you aren't my mother." Cinderella muttered. "Pardon me?" "You aren't my family." She pushed her way through and ran up to her room. She sat on her bed and grabbed a candle. She got up and walked the candle to her stepsisters' and stepmother's clothes. She grabbed all of them off of the shelves and walked into the living room carrying every single one. "What on earth are you doing?!" Said her first stepsister. She threw them into the fireplace and put the candle up to the clothes. "CINDERELLA!" The first stepsister pushed Cinderella to the ground hitting her head hard onto the stone wall. The clothes were burning. And Cinderella was smiling. The first stepsister got down to the ground and punched Cinderella right in the eye. Cinderella pushed the stepsister off of her and pinned her to the ground punching her. She started to cry, still punching the stepsister. Her stepmother walked in and pulled Cinderella off of her, and hit her a cross the head with a pan. Cinderella went unconscious. Cinderella woke up the next day on her floor, all messy and dusty. She got up hearing a carriage outside. She ran downstairs and noticed the princess was talking to her stepmother. "Are there any girls in the house other than these two?" Said the princess. "No. This is it." Said stepmother. "Wait." Cinderella said as she ran down the stairs. The princess dropped the glass slipper. It shattered as everything went silent. "I-" said the stepmother. The princess ran towards Cinderella hugging her. Cinderella smiled embraced her in her arms. "I missed you, even if it was only overnight." Said the princess. Cinderella blushed and kissed the princess. Cinderella packed up and left with the princess in her royal carriage. Princess Charming and Cinderella got married the next month, and eventually became the queens of the kingdom. The stepsisters and stepmother were put in chains in the kingdom dungeon for the abuse of Cinderella. And as you'd expect, Cinderella and the princess lived happily ever after.
