Erica had a normal day with a normal life, sort of. Her parents - or rather parent was a little bit odd, she had never known her father nor seen photos of him or even know his name but she was used to not having a father by now. Her mother was a very lovely woman although easily earated Erica still loved her and cared if she was in distress or not. She never remarried after what happend with her father as Erica liked to put it, even though she didn't really know the story only rumors of what had happend that day. Erica was a tall green eyed curly hair blond girl, she didn't really look anything like her mother or anyone else in her mothers side of the family that she knew. She was an only child which made Erica quite lonely, she didn't have a easy time with making friends though she pretends that she has friends to make her mother happy but in reality she doesn't, in fact most of her "friends" are her mortal enemy's. She likes to laugh at them and call them names, Erica never knew why she found it so funny to watch people get insulted and most of the time go crying off. Her Mother was not like that at all she hated that kind of behavior and if Erica was ever caught doing she'd be grounded. But no matter how many times her mother tried to make her stop acting so rudely Erica just went back to being, well Erica. Some days she just insult a kid right in front of her mother and her mother did nothing about it but sigh and walk away. Her mother was getting depressed by the day sighing more and more and less talking and more walking as the days went on on her ninth birthday she barely said anything and that's how its been for the last twelve months, which made Erica sad but she just kept smiling and laughing and playing tricks on the people of the small town, sometimes she fears that it is going to get worse on her birthday every year because that is how it has always been for as long as she can remember. Today she was terming the big number of ten which Erica wasn't particular excited for because it meant that her mother would grow more distant like it had been for the other years. But for some reason she just kept smiling and laughing like her parents were perfect and everything was fine, but it was simply not fine.
