Disclaimer: I do not own the characters of either Dragon Ball Super or Godzilla, only the story. Dragon Ball Super belongs to Akira Toriyama and Godzilla belongs to Toho and Legendary Studios. And here is the first chapter to the third installment of the series. And I was serious about including the soundtracks, but more specifically, they'll be from the Dragon Ball Super Broly movie and the 2014 Godzilla movie. I apologize for any errors in grammar and/or if I was not accurate in reference to something.

A/N: I'm starting this to get started on this since it'll be a little more time until the release of Godzilla vs Kong. I'm going to start the story from the Janjira incident. I also ask you readers to please cast your votes for the fourth installment.

Chapter One: What Started it All

The second time vortex opened up just a few miles out from a uranium mine in the year of 1999. Stepping out from the brown portal was a woman in purple assassin's attire and a purple veil covering her mouth. Her eyes were closed as she took in a deep breath when she opened them to reveal orange reptilian eyes. She looked about before saying, "Finally. I've arrived."

The woman started to walk towards the mine with every intention of completing her mission.

(Cue Dragon Ball Super: Broly's Theme track from DBS Broly)

She walked through the entrance of the valley and had a full view of the mine. The mysterious woman could see the workers doing their jobs as they dug into the ground. The woman then placed her hand along the rock wall as she felt for something. When she had could see what she was looking for, the woman whipped out a Sai before plunging it into the stone. The weapon glowed with purple energy before a crack started to grow. When she ripped out the Sai, it created a domino effect by causing the crack to rapidly spread throughout the valley. When it reached the valley floor it connected with a cavern and the entire ground shook. A few of the miners that stood there wobbled when they felt the ground beneath them start to shake. Screaming followed when the ground gave way beneath them and some of the machinery. The woman walked to the edge of the new hole before taking a step off the edge. The surviving miners gasped as she too fell into the darkness.

(End of track)

She landed at the bottom of the chasm in a superhero pose before standing up straight. The woman looked down one of the tunnels and walked past some tall and curved stalagmites. When she came across two objects hanging over her, the woman looked up. The spores leaked excess fluid which she found disgusting. Taking out her Sai again she prepared to throw it while saying, "Time to wake up."

Then with a flick of her wrist she threw the weapon at one of the spores. When the tip came in contact with the spore, a little purple energy zapped against it. It was enough to stir the creature within the spore and it started to shake. The woman took a step back to watch. She didn't have to wait long as the spore suddenly split in two.

A few hours later, a helicopter flew over the Philippines to the dig site. The chopper flew along the mountain ridge as a large cloud passed over them. As they awaited to arrive at the mine, Doctor Ishiro Serizawa and Doctor Vivienne Graham looked to each other as indistinct radio chatter went over the comms. The two scientists were dressed in the right attire for the region. Serizawa looked out the window before looking down at a pocket watch in his hand and gently rubbed his thumb against the object before clenching it in his hand. Vivienne looked at the clenched fist as she knew how much that pocket watch meant to her friend. He snapped it shut when the chopper finally arrived at the mine. They looked out the window when they heard people indistinctly shouting. They could see thousands of workers continuing to work on the mines. The helicopter started to descend into the middle of the mine. The workers at the landing sight moved out of the way when they saw it coming down. When it was but a few inches from the ground, the wind from the helicopter's blades kicked up a large cloud of dust. A man in a brown business suit and a few guards with machine guns stood at the entrance to await the arrival of the heads of Monarch.

The helicopter blades started to slow down when it touched the ground. Dr. Serizawa and Dr. Graham both exited from the craft and held a hand on their hats to keep them from blowing away. The businessman met them halfway and said, "Dr. Serizawa?

"Jerry Boyd." The man introduced. He shook his head as he told him, "I'm going to go ahead and warn you that it's a mess. It's just a total mess in here."

The two scientists followed him through the grounds so he could show them. Then he said, "Monarch sent me in this morning." Jerry nodded as he said, "I took a good look around, but I knew that I meant it when I told them that we needed you."

The chopper flew off as Serizawa and Vivienne continued to follow the man. Jerry then told of the scenario, "The guys had picked up a radiation pocket out here just last month. They got excited, thinking that they had a uranium deposit."

They rounded a corner as Jerry said, "They had just finished setting up the heavy machinery just two days ago. And then…" They came across the chasm and he said, "The valley floor just caved into a cavern down below. It just gave way. It was just gone."

Serizawa and Vivienne were somewhat amazed by the opening to the cavern while remained sympathetic to their loss. They looked at the damage to the other machines as well. Jerry then told them, "Best guess right now is that about forty of the miners went down when it collapsed." Then Jerry threw in, "And there were reports of a woman wearing purple attire willingly falling in after it gave way."

Serizawa and Graham looked to each other with questioning looks. Serizawa then asked, "Do you have any radiation suits?"

"Uh, yeah." Jerry nodded. Then gesturing with a thumb he said, "If you'll follow me."

Thirty minutes later…

(Cue Inside the Mine track from DBS Broly)

After getting fitted with some suits, Serizawa and Vivienne led a small group down into the chasm. They were lowered by cables and kept going deeper until they touched the cave floor. When they touched down, the team unhooked themselves from the cables. They all turned on the headlights on their helmets and looked about. The cavern they were in was somewhat vast even before the cave in. Serizawa then said, "Get a headcount for all who fell. Teams of two."

The workers did as he said while he and Vivienne stuck together. So far they had seen pieces of machinery and a few bodies here and there, but it was mostly rocks. The workers regrouped with Serizawa and Graham and one said, "All the workers have been accounted for."

"And the woman?" Serizawa asked. The worker shook his head as he revealed, "No sign of her. And it would be hard to miss a woman wearing purple."

"Maybe she survived and went in there." Another worker suggested and pointed to another opening. Serizawa and Vivienne led the group into the tunnel. Only by walking past a few stalagmites did they realize that it wasn't a tunnel. It was the skeletal structure of a large animal. They looked about the fossil as Jerry told them, "When they first discovered the radiation pocket, the levels of radiation were only half as strong." He shrugged when he said, "It's almost as if contact with the outside air started catalyzing something."

They looked at the bones and Jerry asked, "They're some kind of fossils, right?"

Serizawa was fascinated by the discovery and thought about what the species could be. Jerry shook his head when he still didn't really believe it, "I've been digging a lot of holes for thirty years, but I have never seen anything like this."

He walked away and ordered the workers to turn on the lamps down the spinal column of the animal. They could see that it went on for a long distance. Vivienne walked up to Serizawa and asked, "Oh, my word. Could it be possible? Could it be him?"

"No." Serizawa denied with a shake of his head. Looking at the bones he could tell that they were of another and much older creature, "This one is much older."

"Hey! We found something." Jerry called from ahead. Serizawa, Vivienne and some of the workers hurried where the man was. He pointed with his flashlight and Vivienne gasped at the sight. Laying near the giant creature's skeleton looked to the skeleton of a man. Jerry looked to Serizawa and asked, "What do you think that was?"

"I'm not sure." Serizawa said as he moved to the smaller skeleton. Graham joined him and they were followed by Jerry. They stopped before the other skeleton, Vivienne made her observation, "Judging by the structure of the bones I would say that it was male. And look."

They all saw to what she was pointing to and saw the man's skeleton had one of his arms against what appeared to be the giant creature's skeletal arm. Serizawa then said, "It would seem that there was some form of respect between them."

"If you think this is freaky," A worker said as he joined them, "wait until you see this."

They followed the worker back onto the spinal column and followed him down. They walked by other workers who were either taking photos of the skeleton or talking over a radio. A Geiger counter was trying to get a reading for radiation in the pocket when Serizawa and Graham arrived. They looked up to see spores resting on two of the creature's bones. One of the spores looked to be intact as the worker with the Geiger counter as it's measurements increased. Vivienne looked to Serizawa and asked, "What is it?"

"I don't know." Serizawa shook his head. Vivienne shrugged her shoulders and guessed, "Some kind of egg? Or a dormant spore?"

They slowly looked over to the other one and saw a significant change to it. For instance, it looked as if it were broken open. Jerry then asked, "What do you think came out of that?"

Serizawa moved closer to see what he could learn about it. When he took a close look at the inside, he could see what appeared to be purple energy surging across the spore. The sound of a helicopter caused them to look around. Serizawa moved to where the sound was coming from and his eyes widened at what he saw. A large tunnel had been dug from the skeletons to the outside.

Outside the opening, the helicopter flew over the crater that was attached to a long trench. The trench covered the entire distance to the ocean and Lord only knows where the creature was heading.

(Cue An Unexpected Bounty track from DBS Broly)

After completing her part of her mission in the Philippines, the woman had opened a regular portal to a new destination. When the portal opened to the other side, she stepped out on the top of a ridge over looking a city not too far. The city was somewhat large with both rural and urban areas. And near the middle of it was a nuclear powerplant with three silos. Though she started to make her way into the city, the woman in purple looked back to the ocean and said with a glare, "It had better hurry up. Time is of the essence."

The woman then continued on her way. And though she didn't look behind her, she heard the sound of something big in the water coming in fast.

(End of track)

\_|_/

Deep within the city of Janjira, rain clouds soon moved over the city and thunder rumbled overhead. But it was starting off as a normal day in one of the houses. A young boy by the name of Ford Brody carefully climbed out of bed as the TV was on in another room. He stopped next to his project and bent down to pick up one of the strings attached to a banner. Ford dragged a banner along with him as he headed for the door. A phone started to ring and the boy heard his father Joe Brody say, "I'll get it. It's probably for me."

Ford dragged his banner out into the hall while hearing his father speak on the phone. He spoke in Japanese before listening to the other end. Then he could hear his father sigh before he said, "No, Takashi." Joe sounded annoyed when he said, "No. Takashi, just listen to me for a second. I'm asking for the meeting because if I have to shut down the reactor down you're not gonna want to read about it in a memo."

Ford stopped at an open door and looked inside to see his father still talking over the phone, "Because, I've been following these tremors since they started in the Philippines and now they've come into our own backyard." Ford didn't say anything as he knew that his father sounded upset, "No, no, no. Hayato says that I have to go through you about this."

Ford's mother Sandra came up on the other side of the door and looked in too. They both watched as Joe continued his conversation over the phone. Ford looked to her and softly said, "I can't believe he's already awake."

"I know. He got up early. That's gonna throw us off." Sandra softly said with a shrug. Ford looked a little worried as he asked, "What are we gonna do?"

Sandra huffed as she thought about before telling her soon, "Get dressed. I'll figure it out."

"Okay." Ford said with a sigh before turning and walking back to his room.

A few minutes later, all three of the family walked out of the house as more thunder rumbled. Ford ran by his father and said, "See you later, Dad."

Joe waved his son goodbye as his wife soon joined him at the car. Joe then said over the phone, "With all due respect, Takashi, and honor…" Sandra moved to the other side of the car as Joe told Takashi, "Respect and honor, with all of that I'm an engineer. I don't like unexplained frequency pattering near a plant that I'm responsible." He was firm as he said, "I need that meeting to happen. Make it happen. Please."

Both he and Sandra entered the car as Joe said something in Japanese before hanging up. Sandra looked to the bus stop to see Ford waving at her and he shouted, "Bye, Mom!"

Sandra waved back as Ford joined some of his friends to the bus. Joe started the engine as Sandra helped him get finished tiding up. She then told him, "He made you a sign."

"What?" Joe asked in confusion. Sandra then said, "Your birthday sign."

"Oh." Joe groaned as he finally understood. Looking to the bus as it pulled away Joe felt guilty about it. Sandra didn't really blame her husband when she said, "He worked so hard on it."

"Oh, man." Joe shook his head. She then told him the plan, "I'm gonna come home early. I'll take the car and pick him up and we can get a proper cake." She smiled and asked, "Okay?"

He nodded before getting back to what he was worried about, "Listen, I really need to know that it's not the sensors. Okay?"

Sandra nodded as she understood. Joe then said, "I can't be calling this meeting and look like the American maniac coming up with false claims." Then he discussed the plan, "So when we get there I want you to take don't even bother coming up. Just grab a team and go right down to level five."

"You're not a maniac." Sandra said while shaking her head. She grinned when she said, "I mean, you are," Joe looked at her with a questioning look and Sandra said, "but not about this."

Joe groaned as a smile formed on his face. Then he tried to think, "There must be something that we're not thinking of."

"Happy Birthday." Sandra said with a big grin. Joe then remembered and asked, "What? Is it-"

"Yes, it is." Sandra said before laughing while wrapping her arms around her husband. Joe then chuckled as he said, "Huh, I totally forgot all about it."

The two shared a tender kiss before Sandra said again, "Happy Birthday."

"Thank you." Joe said before they kissed again. He then joked, "I should have a birthday a lot more often. Ha, ha."

(Cue The Power Plant track from Godzilla, 2014)

Sandra laughed as well while Joe started up the car. They headed to the power plant as another rumble of thunder passed overhead.

\_|_/

After getting to the power plant, Joe met up with some colleagues as one of them handed him a piece of paper. Joe took a good look at what he was seeing, but didn't understand it. Looking to the man he asked, "What is this?"

"Seismic anomaly." The man told him as they walked. Then pointing to spots on the paper he told Joe, "This graph is minutes. X is minutes, not days." He sounded worried as he said, "This is right now."

"Wait, hold on. Seismic activity?" A third man behind Joe and the worker asked. Then he too sounded worried as he said, "Seismic? You're talking about an earthquake?"

"No, earthquakes are completely random, jagged." Joe denied as he knew that it wasn't a natural disaster. Then he said, "This is consistent, and it's increasing."

Handing the papers back to the worker he said, "This is some kind of a pattern."

\_|_/

Down below, Sandra and a few others of her team were finishing up getting ready for the search. Sandra looked to each of them and said, "All right, you guys. Let's go and make this quick."

Then putting the helmet on her head, she led the team to corridor door to the reactor. A worker pushed the button to open it and a confirming buzz sounded. The main door slid upwards to allow the team passage into the corridor. The corridor had multiple pipes running across the walls and along the ceiling. But as they walked through, a figure walked up to the opening as well. The woman in purple narrowed her eyes before following after the group.

\_|_/

Joe and his colleague walked into the room. Joe looked to one of the engineers and asked, "Takashi. What the heck is going on?" Looking down at the graph he said, "Have you seen these readings?"

"Yeah." Takashi nodded and didn't look so happy about it either. Then he suggested while Joe walked past him, "Maybe it's not such a good time for a meeting."

Joe looked at a computer to see the graph that was monitoring the seismic activity. Without looking away from the monitor Joe asked, "What's the source? Where's the epicenter?"

"We don't know." Takashi said with a shake of his head. But he sounded really worried when he said, "But it just keeps getting stronger."

Joe stood straight as he turned to his friend and said, "It's gotta be centered around somewhere." They both looked to the monitor before Joe looked to another and said, "Hayato."

"No one else is reporting it." Hayato informed. Joe stepped away from the computer as Hayato sounded baffled when he said, "We are contacting every other power plant within the Kanto region." He looked over the list, "Tokai, Fujiyama." But he shook his head as he said, "But they are unaffected."

Hayato took a deep breath as he guessed, "But perhaps the best assumption is that these readings are just aftershocks from the Philippine earthquake."

Joe looked at the instruments to see if anything looked out of order. Glancing back he asked, "Are we a full function?"

"Yes, we are." Takashi confirmed. Then he suggested, "But perhaps we should be drawing down, to be safe."

But before anything could be done, the entire room started to shake. Every worker became frightened as the tremors caused electronics to flicker. Joe then ordered, "Take us offline."

"Now, Joe-" His fellow manager started to say, thinking it would pass. But Joe snapped, "Do it! Now. Wind it down."

He spoke in Japanese to the workers who didn't speak English as he ran through the room. Stopping at a walkie recharge station, he picked one up and turned it on. Then he tried to contact, "Sandra." He then tried again, "Sandra, are you there?"

Another tremor shook the building and it made everyone worried.

\_|_/

Down below, Sandra and her team were also experiencing the tremors as well. Knowing that it wasn't safe to stay, Sandra then said, "We're turning back." Gesturing for the others to follow she said, "Come on! Let's go!"

Everyone on the team started to run back to the entrance. She looked back just as another tremor hit and a gas cloud emerged from down a corridor. Sandra's eyes widened as she turned and ran after her team. Activating her own radio, Sandra called out, "Joe, are you there?"

\_|_/

In the control room, Joe was trying to keep himself from falling when he heard his wife's voice on the radio, "Joe, there's been a breach in the reactor! We're heading back to the containment seal."

Worried for his wife, Joe picked up the radio and told her, "Sandra, listen to me. You need to get out of there. If the reactor's been breached then you won't last five minutes with or without the suits. Do you hear me?"

"I hear you, Joe." He heard her say. She sounded frantic when he heard her say, "We're coming!"

Another tremor rocked the building and this time it was more violent than the last couple. Most of the workers started to evacuate. When it ended, Joe then ran for the door while ordering, "I'm meet them down there myself. Put the safety doors on manual override."

"Joe, I cannot do that!" Takashi tried to deny. Joe then repeated, "Keep the doors open and put them on manual override! My wife is still down there!"

Takashi looked to the others as he was conflicted on what to do. Joe ran as fast as he could to make it to the corridor in time.

\_|_/

Down in the corridor, the team had gained some distance from the toxic gas cloud. Sandra had a smile as she assured, "Don't worry! We're almost there!"

But as they rounded a bend, an energy Sai landed on the ground from the finally member of the team. The energy weapon dissipated as man yelled as he was tripped. Sandra and the others looked back as the man started to pick himself up. Sandra ran back to help him up when the sound of footsteps made them all look. The woman in purple walked up to them and said, "None of you will be making it out of here alive."

Sandra and her fellow workers looked scared as they all prepared themselves. But the woman smirked under her veil as a portal opened up behind her. They were confused when she walked backwards and casually said, "I didn't say that I would be the one to do it."

When she stepped through it closed behind her. That's when they all knew what she was talking about. The woman had allowed the radiation steam to catch up to them. Sandra and the others gasped when they were overtaken by the cloud.

\_|_/

Joe had finally made it down to the level where Sandra had gone. Alarms blared about the reactor breach. He stopped at the entrance and spoke on the walkie on the door, "Takashi. Tell me that this door's on manual."

"Yes." Takashi confirmed. But then he informed Joe, "But we are starting to breach!"

"I'm here." Joe responded. Then he assured, "As soon as they're through the door, I will seal it."

Looking down the corridor, Joe then tried the radio again, "Sandra, honey, can you hear me? I'm at the door." When he didn't hear anything he tried a different channel and said, "Sandra? Sandra, I'm waiting right here for you."

"I'm at the checkpoint." Sandra said over the radio. Then she said, "We were delayed by something strange."

Joe gave a questioning look at the radio before asking, "What kind of delay?"

"Not now, Joe. Running for our lives!" Sandra shouted over the radio. Joe then said, "Come on, honey. You have to run as fast as you can."

"I am!" Sandra yelled over the radio. Another tremor rocked the building and the radio went silent. Joe tried to call her, "Sandra?" When he didn't get anything he shouted, "Sandra!"

"Joe!" Takashi said over the radio on the wall. Joe looked to it as Takashi warned said something Japanese. Joe responded in Japanese. Takashi then urged him, "Close the door!" He sounded scared when he said, "Seal the corridor or the whole city will be exposed."

Joe knew that he had to, but he didn't want to leave his wife. He turned to look down the corridor to see if Sandra was coming, but didn't see any sign of her or the team. Raising the radio he tried to hail her, "Sandra?"

He started feel fear for his wife when he heard her voice, "Joe? Joe, can you hear me?"

"Yes." A relieved Joe said as he looked down at the tiny device. He heard Sandra ask him, "Are you there?"

"Sandra, I'm here. Can you hear me?" Joe worriedly asked. He heard her gasping as she said, "Yeah." And then his heart sank when he heard her say, "Joe, it's too late. We're not gonna make it."

"No, no." Joe said as he clutched the radio. Then he pleaded, "Don't say that! Don't you say that! You have to make it!" He looked down the corridor and urged, "Run as hard as you can, honey."

"Joe, you have to close the door." Sandra told him, thinking of everyone that could die. Then she added, "You need to live for our son."

Tears welled up in Joe's eyes as though he knew that she was right, he didn't want to do it. He looked down the corridor and hoped that they would make it. Another tremor shook the building and Joe could see the cloud coming. His hopes for his wife were taken by the sight. Takashi said over the radio, "Joe, seal the door! Now!"

"No. No." Joe said as he stood frozen at the door. Takashi then alerted him, "Five seconds! Four seconds!"

Joe screamed in agony before slamming his hand on the button. The door quickly slid down and locked into place to prevent the breach to get out. Joe watched as the entire corridor covered in the mist.

(End of track)

The alarms continued to blare as Joe's hand dropped from the control mechanism and he started to sob.

(Cue To Q Zone track from Godzilla, 2014)

Joe leaned against the wall as he continued to cry. The sound of banging caught Joe's attention. Turning to the window in the door, Joe saw the team as they were begging to get out. With a sad shake of his head he said, "I'm so sorry."

The others moved out of the way as Sandra moved to the window. Joe gasped and his lip quivered when he knew that it was the last time that he would see her. They both started to cry at the turn of events while Joe placed his hand on the door and Sandra took off her helmet. Joe wanted to tell her to put it back on, but knew that it was too late. The sealing doors started to slide over the entrance to avoid any contamination. Sandra then asked, "Promise me you'll take care of Ford."

"I will." Joe said as she started to sob again. Sandra started to sob was well as she said, "Be a good father."

"I will." Joe promised as the door continued to close. Sandra offered one last smile before the doors fully closed. Joe felt a whirlwind of emotions as the doors came together, sealing his wife and her team from the outside world. Never to see her again.

Joe started sobbing again when building once again shook. The structure started to groan, but as Joe turned and ran he felt as if the sound were something else.

\_|_/

Outside the building, workers continued to shout and run as the building started to collapse. The silos started to collapse and they destroyed more and more of the building.

Across town in a school, Ford and his classmates were watching a presentation when the television cut out. Alarms started to ring and the teacher spoke in Japanese while evacuating her students. Then she said to those who spoke English, "Let's get out."

All the students either abandoned their things or tried to hurry and collect them. Ford was among those getting his stuff when he looked out the window to the power plant. He didn't hear his teacher when she said, "Hurry! Come on, Ford!"

Slowly rising from his seat, Ford looked to the power plant and thought of his parents as it started to collapse. His eyes trembled as he didn't know what might be happening to them. His friend Yuko came running up to him and said, "Ford! Come on!"

She pulled him away from the window as the school continued to evacuate. Ford took one last look at the crumbling power plant before running after his friend.

\_|_/

A few weeks later, once all the survivors had been cleared for any radiation poisoning, they proceeded with finding out what exactly had happened. The survivors had been relocated to Tokyo and the plant workers stood in a room in one of the skyscrapers. Joe was looking out the window as the board went over what had happened. One of the executives said, "So based on the seismic activity that occurred in Janjira, we can only assume that it was an earthquake that destroyed the plant."

The room murmured in agreement before Joe said from his spot, "Except that it wasn't an earthquake."

They all looked to him to him and another executive said, "What do you mean, Joe? We've assessed all the evidence that was given to us."

"But it wasn't all the evidence." Joe argued as he turned away from the window. He had a look in his eye as he said, "I know that this is gonna sound crazy, but I don't think this was just an earthquake. It was something else."

"Like what?" A third questioned. Joe shook his head before saying, "I don't know what exactly. But all I do know that it wasn't some natural disaster that caused the Janjira plant to collapse."

"Joe." An American executive said, "We all know that you're hurting and we're sorry. But we have to look at the facts. The reports of seismic activity can only confirm that it was an earthquake."

(Cue Paragus' Rage track from DBS Broly)

Ford scoffed as he started to get angry as he repeated, "I'm telling you that it wasn't an earthquake." Then he said, "When I was down there, I heard something."

"Like what?" The first executive asked. Joe then shrugged while saying, "Like something that wasn't the building."

"Joe-" The American executive started to say. But Joe snapped and pointed at him, "Don't act like I'm crazy or something. I know I'm not crazy about this." His face softened and his lip trembled as he stated, "Something took my wife. My son's mother." Then he shook his head as his gaze hardened again, "But it was no earthquake."

The board didn't know what to say before looking to each other. The first executive then said, "Perhaps you should take some time off. To heal."

"I'm not crazy." Joe said as he took a step forward. The first then said, "Joe. No one here is wanting what happened to have happened. But we cannot make assumptions when we have no proof."

Joe didn't say anything more as he walked around the room and headed for the door. None of the executives said anything as Joe walked out the door. When he walked to the elevator, Joe pushed the button and waited. But as he did, he felt a presence behind him. Turning around he saw the executive from earlier walking up to him. Joe listened as the executive said, "I know that you do not wish to hear it, but perhaps it would be best to allow yourself to heal." Joe looked him in the eye as he said, "Go and be there for your son. He needs you now."

Joe remembered his wife's last words to him and sighed as he said, "You're right. What matter's now is being there for Ford." With a grateful smile he said, "Thank you, sir."

"You are welcome, Joe-san." The executive said with a smile and bowed. When the elevator dinged to let him know that it was here. The door opened and Joe walked in as the executive turned to go back to the room.

(Cue Memories of Bah track from DBS Broly)

A few days later, a funeral service was held to honor those who lost their lives in the accident. Joe stood by his son as the service ended. Some of Joe's colleagues stayed a few minutes to remember them. And Ford's friends, Yuko, Susumu, Hiroaki, Nancy, Haruhiko, Toshiko, Masami and Kae all stood by their friend's side as they all looked at the marker for Sandra Ford.

Though he didn't say anything, Ford was grateful that his friends and father were with him. Joe and a few colleagues left the grave while Ford was left alone with his friends. Looking to them he said, "Thanks for being here, you guys."

"We'll always be there for you, man." Hiroaki told him with a small smile. Toshiko then promised, "We know how much she meant to you and your dad."

Ford looked at the marker again as Yuko then said, "And we'll do all that we can to help honor her memory."

"Thanks again." Ford said as a tear rolled down the side of his face.

Author's Note: Man, this first chapter is a lot longer than the beginnings to the other two stories. And I put a lot of foreshadowing into this chapter. Hope you recognize the all characters. And I mean all of them. But we will get to the future before going back to the past. Sorry if that was confusing. I look forward to reading your reviews. Be sure to leave a comment either about if I've done something wrong or if you want something specifically to happen. See you next time.
