Kamen Rider Goji: Hello, everyone. Welcome to another one-shot for another DCAU character existing in a ZKDverse. To all those ZKD fans, remember Joker? Well you now will get to see another one of Batman's rogues who didn't appear in Justice League Unlimited due to the Bat-embargo and/or any other reason(s).

GRIEVING IVY

In Gotham City, there was an establishment that was long-since abandoned by its original owners in times past and laid in ruin. It was an abandoned Turkish Bath, officially known as Blossom St. Turkish Baths.

Looking at the interior of the structure, the steam bathhouse had been turned into a lush jungle-like greenhouse.

The general layout was unchanged from its conception with a long winding entrance with sets of stairs that lead to a grand foyer with a great flower bed that rested on a lily pad-strewn pool which served as a floral throne. There was another large room that was next to the foyer.

The very entrance to the baths themselves opened of its own accord when a red-haired woman with green eyes and greenish skin came walking in there. She was 5' 2" in height and she weighed 105 lbs (48 kg). Her wavy hair reached down to both her shoulders and her back with that same hair parted at the right side of her head. She had darker green lips.

She wore a very form-fitting, one-piece bathing suit that showed off her buxom breasts and her long shapely legs. She had a more exaggerated hourglass shape. She wore a pair of gloves that went past up her elbows and she also wore a pair of matching leaf boots. Her entire costume was a darker shade of green.

"Babies, mommy's home!" the woman greeted her plants. This woman was none other than Poison Ivy, a.k.a. Pamela Isley, who just pulled off a successful heist.

Dr. Pamela Lillian Isley was a botanist who led a secret life as the eco-terrorist Poison Ivy. Unlike most of Batman's rogues, she had little interest in money or power unless she needed them; but instead being obsessed with preserving plant life and taking revenge on those who she believed had harmed it. Her ruthless methods had frequently landed her in Arkham Asylum.

Poison Ivy walked into another large room that was her lab. She dropped the bag onto a table, the bag spilling out a few bundles of cash. Poison Ivy picked up a bundle of cash, counting the bills.

"Ah, it's good to be rich," Poison Ivy smiled. "Maybe I could share some of the wealth with Harley." She stopped counting her bills, left wondering what Haley Quinn was up to.

In the past, Harley more or less went straight and had gone back to being Dr. Harleen Quinzel and had her own TV show. Harley hosted a Game Show where contestants go through an extreme obstacle course to determine whether they could get therapy from a licensed professional or not.

Harley redeemed herself, and got the life she had always wanted, only to throw it all away and go back to being a villain just a few years later. That made little to no sense!

Why would Harley throw the good life?! While she didn't like the fact that Harley left behind the villainy that she and her could've kept doing together, she accepted her choices. Then all of a sudden she threw it all away? Why would she even do such a thing, was it all because of the Joker?! She had a good thing going, something that she always supported, and then Joker came in and ruined it all! Why couldn't Harley just stick to the life that was free of that abusive bastard?!

Poison Ivy calmed herself and tried to look on the positive. While Harley gave up her straight life, at least she could still do fun criminal activities with her longer. She just wished the Joker stayed out of Harley's life. She's really gonna make sure that the Joker stays out of her best friend's life no matter what.

Poison Ivy searched Gotham city but she just couldn't find her. Fortunately for her, she wasn't caught during her search. For all her search, she came up with nothing.

Maybe she could try the new Arkham Asylum. In late 2000's (2008–09), the inmates of Arkham Asylum were transferred into a newer, more secure building. That place would be her next stop.

Poison Ivy used her mind-controlling lipstick to have the asylum's staff grant her access into that new secure Arkham. She searched much of the new asylum's facilities but she couldn't find Harley anywhere.

"Harley, where are you?" Poison Ivy muttered.

Halfway between Gotham and Bludhaven was a dive bar where supervillains' henchmen could unwind and dance the night away.

Poison Ivy stepped inside of the bar so focused that she didn't take the time to appreciate Min and Max's singing. She just walked past the dancing people until she met up with her former henchman named Shrubby.

"Hey, Shrubby, have you seen Harley?" Poison Ivy asked, making Schruby stiffen. "What? What did I say?" Shrubby regained his bearings and leaned in towards Poison Ivy's ear. He began whispering into her same ear, making her eyes go wide with every word whispered. "I'm sorry but could you repeat that a little louder?" The former henchman did what she asked as he once again whispered into her ear. "No, it can't be true. You're… telling… me… Harley… is… dead?"

Shrubby went to the bar counter and had the barkeep turn on the television, showing the skeptical Ivy the news that the Joker had died when he tangled with Batman for the last time.

"Oh, come on, there's no news about Harley Quinn's death. That's just the news about the Joker's death," Poison Ivy denied. She was inwardly happy that the Joker's dead. He got what was coming to him for his constant abuse towards her best friend. Shrubby motioned her to keep watching the TV. The skeptical woman moved to the counter and then sat down on a stool. She kept a straight face on as she kept watching the news.

Hours passed by with Poison Ivy watching the television, waiting for more news that would speak of Harley. So far there was lacking news about Harley, only just news about the Joker. Joker, Joker, Joker, it would always be about the Joker! She hated the news of the Joker being top priority over Harley.

She was growing impatient at the lack of news of her best friend in the wait the reports finally came in about Harley Quinn. The reports only talked about Harley being Joker's right hand woman and that no one's heard from her after the last tangle.

"Great, it's like Harley doesn't matter at all. It's all about the Joker," Poison Ivy scowled. "Well, it looks like I have to find her myself." She drank up another glass of alcohol empty before she slammed it down on the counter. She then slammed down cash on the counter in payment of all the drinks she had.

So Ivy combed Gotham's underworld looking for clues about Harley, with the Joker's list of hideouts included. She even talked to a couple of scantily clad women on Gotham's street corner. After three weeks of unsuccessful searching, Ivy finally got a lead that brought her to the original Arkham Asylum.

Arkham Asylum was under Gotham's blood red sky. The asylum resembled a prison more than a sanatorium. In addition to the insane, Arkham was also specially equipped to house prisoners with unique medical or environmental needs, who could not be otherwise incarcerated in Stonegate Penitentiary.

The old asylum was partially demolished and the rest was allowed to decay. The ruins of the old asylum were the site of the last, worst confrontation between Batman and the Joker.

Poison Ivy entered Arkham Asylum, looking everywhere for any clues with complete scrutiny.

"Harley, are you hiding out here?!" Poison Ivy whispered. "It's me, Ivy! You know, your Poison Oaky?!"

She soon arrived in the asylum's old operating theater, which Joker had converted into a cinema. The projector room's broken glass, piquing her curiosity. She made her way into the projector room, finding the mess that showed that there was sign of a struggle here.

After checking out the projector room, she moved on. She checked out the room, which looked like some sort of lab with water on the floor. There was also a broken glass container with electrical wires attached to it. She spotted an electrical switch that was touched before looking at the water on the floor.

Did someone get electrocuted to death? What exactly happened in this place? Was Harley alright?

Poison Ivy eventually made her way to the caverns beneath Arkham, which supplied Gotham's water. She looked everywhere for any traces of Harley but there was unfortunately no sign of her.

She needed to try looking from the top to bottom this time.

Poison Ivy explored the ruins of Arkham. She looked into the dark chasm and then she brought out a seed before dropping it into that same chasm

Poison Ivy willed and waited for the seed to take effect. Soon, a giant plant grew out until it reached to the very top of her head. She had the plant grab her by the waist and then slowly had her descent into the darkness.

The plant dropped off Poison Ivy down to the chasm's bottom before letting her go. Once Poison Ivy landed, she began her search.

One hour later…

"Just keep searching and maybe I'll be able to find at least some trace of her," Poison Ivy told herself.

Two hours later…

"I'm getting close, I'm sure of it," Poison Ivy told herself.

Three hours later…

"Where is she?!" Poison Ivy yelled in frustration.

Poison Ivy had been searching for hours and more but she found no traces of Harley. She refused to give up but she was just so tired, which led to her sitting up against the wall. She had her arms wrapped around her knees, making sure they were kept close to her chest. The depressed Ivy closed her eyes as she had her palm touch up against her eye.

'She's not dead, she's not dead, she's not dead, she's not dead,' Ivy mentally chanted as she began shedding tears.

The plant brought up the depressed Ivy out of the chasm before putting her back on the cliff. Ivy sighed sadly before she walked off. She clung to the hope of her best friend's survival.

There's no way Harley could be dead, right? After all, there was no body. No body means no proof that she was ever dead and she's not going to let anyone tell her otherwise.

Next few days…

Inside the GCPD Commissioner's office, Poison Ivy was wearing a headscarf, opaque shades and a dark green trench coat. Handing over the case file was the mind-controlled GCPD Commissioner.

"Is there anything you can tell me about Harley Quinn from the Joker's last tangle with Batman?" Poison Ivy asked only to receive a shake from the commissioner's head. She opened up the case file regarding that mentioned tangle and put it under heavy scrutiny.

Ivy had the case file returned back to its original place and then she left the GCPD before anyone could catch her.

She was frustrated at the case file's lack of details on Harley. Honestly, was there some sort of conspiracy behind this case?

Ivy returned back to her Turkish Bath before she sat on her throne. In her hand, she was looking at a photo of her and Harley being genuinely happy.

Why did something bad have to happen to Harley? Sure she's not a saint but she's way more decent compared to the Joker. In fact, she's scared that the Joker would one day influence her into becoming an irredeemable monster. At least the Joker couldn't poison her Harley anymore.

She needed to think. Where in the world could Harley be hiding? Wait, she could try retracing her steps.

It was night for the Gotham Museum of Natural History where Poison Ivy, learning from her past mistake, carefully stole specimens from the museum's lab without setting off any alarms.

She remembered this place. This was the first place where they had met for the first time and exchanged words as they were cornered by the police. Harley had used one of her (Ivy) specimen bottles to disable the police and let the criminal ladies get away. That same night was the start of their beautiful friendship.

Ivy parked her car at the edge of a district. The district used to be an abandoned housing development built over a toxic waste dump. Last time she remembered, that whole waste dump had gone up in flames thanks to the Joker. But now it looked like this housing development became a district inhabited by people there. Ivy looked at the welcome sign that said, "Black District." She discreetly searched the whole district only to find no trace of Harley Quinn.

Once again, Poison Ivy interrupted one of the Peregrinators Club's meetings and had all of the club's members tied up with vine creepers. With them subdued, Ivy then looted the club's trophy room once again.

She remembered good times when she had pulled off a successful crime with Harley here. It was great crashing a men's club and sticking it to them.

Poison Ivy searched the defunct zoo garden Animal Park. She remembered it fondly. She and Harley made this place their hideout before where her hybrid like-animal plants could walk along with Harley's pet hyenas Bud and Lou while their owners were busy in their own affairs.

Animal Park was the place where she and Harley had met Superman's rogue named Livewire. The team up between the three of them was fine until Livewire accidentally burned alive her precious elephant which led to the three's capture.

Ivy visited the closed shopping mall which was where she, Harley and Livewire had fought against Batgirl and Supergirl in the past. She searched the entire place only to find no trace of Haley and on top of that, there's nothing worth stealing from here. Well she better get moving before Batman or anyone else in the Bat Family shows up.

Ivy visited an abandoned factory that she and Harley had used to con Nails, a Bang Baby, for stealing gold. Speaking of the gold, she remembered that she had used seaweed in blocking the bay, stopping all shipping activity, including the federal gold transport.

She could try to steal some gold from a ferry if there's one available. Then again, she would need a blimp. But even if she did have one, Batman could just catch her in the same heist she would pull.

OK then, Poison Ivy's officially not going to rob a ferry. However, she still needed to find a lead.

Ivy was back at her place where she set up a mobile whiteboard in the other room. She stuck the picture of her and Harley to the whiteboard via a magnet. She then stuck newspaper clippings of both the Joker and Batman on the whiteboard by magnets too. Ivy used her whiteboard pen to draw up lines, connecting all the pieces together. Ivy wrote down notes on the white board.

Few weeks later…

The whiteboard was filled with writings, newspaper clippings and the lines that connected the former two. Ivy had been working for hours on investigating Harley's disappearance, leaving her unkempt. Ivy stared at the whiteboard while she drank coffee through her coffee mug that said, "World's Best Friend." When she finished drinking her coffee, she took a moment to stare at her mug.

This mug was a gift from Harley to Ivy and it was that same gift that she cherished ever since. Now this coffee mug might have been the only thing left to remember her friend by. She instantly shook her head.

No, she refused to think of the worst case scenario for Harley. As long as she thought of it, she could find her best friend.

She yawned. Looked like she needed to get more coffee again.

Ivy moved to another part of the greenhouse, refilling her coffee mug from the coffee machine before drinking more coffee.

Eventually, exhaustion overtook Ivy that left her sleeping over a desk.

In the next afternoon, Ivy woke up startled.

"What?! I'm up! I'm up!" Ivy quickly said. She was embarrassed to find herself drooling, making her wipe it away with her arm.

Ivy went back to her whiteboard, analyzing all the evidence that she had put up.

In disguise, Ivy went around showing a picture of Harley to people. She even encountered the same people that Nightwing met when he had searched around showing his own picture of Harley in the past.

A man replied to Ivy, "Haven't seen her."

Bum eagerly said, "Would have liked to!"

Landlord angrily exclaimed, "Dame owes me money! If you find her, you tell her she can eat my sh—"

Old man positively said, "Sheee had...the cutest smile."

Poison Ivy kept a straight face, hiding her growing frustrations.

Ivy was back at the greenhouse, rubbing her hands over her face.

"What am I doing?" Ivy groaned. She didn't wanna do this but she may have no choice but to make contact with the Bat Family.

Batman would be the best choice to talk to considering he's the archenemy to the Joker. She wondered if Batman cared about what happened to Harley. Still, having a chat with the Dark Knight was the best lead she could go with. So all she needed to do was lay a trap for him.

An office building, which had the neon sign saying "Alpha Estate", was silent. Poison Ivy casually strolled through the building, walking past the unconscious bodies, until she reached the CEO's office room. Poison Ivy eyed the potted plant on top of the CEO's desk.

She had those potted plants be methodically and secretly delivered to this building few at a time until there were enough of her plants inside of the building. Then on the night where all of her potted plants were inside of the targeted building, she willed all of her plants to release an airborne toxin that made all the occupants lose consciousness.

Poison Ivy now eyed the safe that was embedded in the wall right behind the office chair. She dropped a seed on the office chair before it sprouted a big and tall Venus flytrap. The Venus flytrap spat acid on the safe, melting its door away.

"Good baby," Poison Ivy cooed as she petted the Venus flytrap. "Let's see here." She inspected the contents of the safe. She saw the safe's inside was filled with bundles of cash. "Jackpot." She swept up the cash into her opened bag, filling it up.

Poison Ivy walked out the building, getting to her car. Thanks to her alertness, she dodged a bola that was aimed at her.

"About time you showed up…Batman," Poison Ivy stated, watching the caped crusader landing in front of her in a crouch.

"Still up to no good, I see," Batman commented as he stood up. "We both know how it's going to end so why don't you save us the trouble and turn yourself in?"

"Hmmm….maybe if you answer my questions first."

"What questions?"

"Well first off: Where is Harley Quinn?"

Batman got half surprised at the question but he kept his stoic nature. Batman then began thinking of the right words to say.

"Answer me!" Poison Ivy impatiently demanded.

"She fell in the old Arkham's ruins but her body was never recovered," Batman honestly answered, taking Poison Ivy back.

"So you honestly have no idea where she is?" Poison Ivy asked.

"Not yet," Batman answered.

"And you're not keeping her anywhere, hidden from the outside world?" Poison Ivy pressed on.

"No," Batman firmly said. Poison Ivy was giving him the most scrutinizing gaze.

Batman was many things but he's not a guy who keeps people in his personal prisons outside of law enforcement type of prisons, right? Batman had a code, which was no killing. So there's no way that Batman could kill Harley. Then again the Joker did die from his last tangle...

"I see…." Poison Ivy acknowledged with narrowed eyes. She quickly threw down plant spores at Batman's feet before they sprouted toxic gas spewing plants that forced Batman to quickly put on his gas mask as he immediately jumped away.

CRASH!

A Venus flytrap broke through the office window, stretching down all the way from the office room to attack Batman. Venus flytrap repeatedly tried to eat Batman, keeping him occupied. While Batman was occupied, Poison Ivy reached her car and then sped off in it to get away as far as possible.

On the streets of Gotham, Poison Ivy was being pursued by the Batmobile. Poison Ivy performed a twist and turn but the Batmobile kept up with her. Poison Ivy then took her car to the highway with the Batmobile in tow. Strangely yet fortunately, the highway was clear.

The two vehicles were side by side. Poison Ivy moved to bash her car against the Batmobile when the Batmobile dodged, letting Ivy's car swerve to the side. Ivy quickly regained control of her vehicle before having it exit the highway and back into Gotham's streets, leaving the Batmobile to pursue it.

Ivy briefly checked over her shoulder, seeing no one was behind her. She widened her eyes at seeing a police barricade in her path, prompting her to push the brakes that brought her to a grinding halt.

"This is Harvey Bullock of the GCPD! Come out with your hands up and empty!" Harvey Bullock spoke out of his megaphone.

Poison Ivy narrowed her eyes as she backed up only to hear her tires popping. Poison Ivy looked over to see her left set of tires deflated by a couple of batarangs. She looked up to see Batman descending upon her.

Then the next thing you knew, Ivy was soundly subdued.

"I gotta say, you didn't do a terrible job assisting us," Harvey Bullock begrudgingly admitted to Batman. "Now why don't you go and leave this to us? We got this covered."

Batman turned his head to see that Poison Ivy was handcuffed and being escorted into the armored car by a couple of GCPD officers before the vehicle's back doors closed upon entry. Batman nodded to Harvey Bullock before going into the Batmobile and then leaving in it.

"Not much of a chatterbox, that guy," Harvey noted.

Poison Ivy got thrown into the new Arkham Asylum's cell, wearing a patient's uniform. She's not going to let her imprisonment in this place bother her. She's been thrown into old Arkham and she always managed to get out. This would be no different.

Ivy got her head together, getting facts together. Batman seemed to be honest about what happened to Harley, including Batman not keeping her anywhere. Did any other members of the Bat Family do something to Harley? Did they?

She didn't know the truth of what Batman did to the Joker but she doubted that he killed Harley. She just hoped he didn't do it.

Did Nightwing do something? No, it couldn't be, right? Was he even part of the last tangle to begin with? The police report only mentioned Batman and Joker but no one else. She's concerned that the conspiracy theory might actually be true.

Did Robin do anything? No, Harley could take him. No argument on that. Therefore Harley wouldn't die by his hands.

Batgirl? No, she's too good to ever cross the line. It's seriously inconvenient that she's nowhere to be found.

The unknown plagued her as she sat in her cell. Hopefully, she could break out, tend to her plants and further investigate.

What Ivy didn't know was that there was a secret room inside of new Arkham Asylum where the comatose Joker lied on life support.

Many years later…

Ivy was currently stuck in the updated version of Arkham Asylum for years. Arkham Asylum 2.0 had taken steps to make sure that Ivy never left, including by cutting her off from plants.

Ivy was sitting in her cell, wearing her same asylum garb. She looked worse for wear from all the torture she had experienced in this place. The door opened up, revealing an African American doctor.

"It's time for your treatment, Poison Ivy," the male doctor grinned. "Get her." A group of orderlies came into the cell, passing by him.

The orderlies seized her, facing little resistance from the weakened patient Soon, Poison Ivy was restrained in rope. Then a couple of orderlies brought out a bathtub before placing it in the middle of the cell. One set of orderlies put Ivy in the bathtub before another set of orderlies filled it up with salt.

"You are obsessed with plants so much so why don't we kill that obsession?" the doctor challenged. "You should close your eyes, miss." With him giving the signal, the orderly pushed down Ivy's head under the salt for a few moments. The orderly then pulled up Poison Ivy's head. "This can stop if you drop your obsession."

"Never," Poison Ivy spat before the orderly pushed her head under the salt again. The orderly pulled her head out of the salt before repeating the process over and over again.

The doctor just continued watching the experiment without empathy, only caring about the results. It didn't matter to him on how much harm the patient would suffer, all it mattered in the end was results.

Day after day, the doctor put Poison Ivy through hellish experiments in his attempts of curing her only to succeed in scarring her. Poison Ivy was sick of this constant abuse so she began plotting her escape…

One day, the same doctor and the orderlies entered Ivy's cell.

"OK, it's time for your treatment again," the doctor notified his patient.

"…" Ivy said nothing as she was lying down on her one side, her back facing the present company.

"Wake her up. I don't have all day," the doctor commanded the bulky looking orderly. The orderly nodded and approached the motionless patient. The orderly bent down to wake up the patient when all of a sudden…

SLASH!

"AAAAAAGH!" the bulky male orderly screamed, grasping his clawed face as he stood upright. He then got punched in the crotch. "Oof!" The crouching Poison Ivy then socked him across the face, knocking him out.

All the rest of the orderlies charged at Poison Ivy. She launched into a sprint at the charging orderlies. She used her gymnastics in dodging the orderlies' blows while landing in her few hits, taking a few of them down as she maneuvered around them. She punched the doctor in the face as she passed by him, knocking him down to the floor with a bloody, broken nose. The remaining unharmed orderlies chased after Poison Ivy.

The pursuing orderlies ran down the corridor, passing by Poison Ivy who was hiding around the corner. Poison Ivy poked her head from the corner, checking that the coast was clear. She took out a metal nail file from her garb.

"Thank you, nail file," Poison Ivy gratefully whispered.

It wasn't easy, trying to have this smuggled in. Every time she had tried to have seeds smuggled in, she would get caught and punished for it. However, she was able to barely succeed in having a nail file smuggled in. Ever since then, she had been filing her nails bit by bit and when the time was right, she had finally enacted her escape. Now all she had to do was keep up the momentum until she's home free.

Poison Ivy snuck into the kitchen. She frantically searched the kitchen for clean vegetables until she found clean chards that she ate up. She then picked up a water pitcher before gulping down on it, getting some of it spilling on her garb. Regaining some of her strength, she quickly searched for something green, leading her to find seeds. She smiled at her discovery.

Soon, the entire Arkham 2.0 was covered in vines both inside and out. Alarms blared as patients ran amok. All of Arkham's guards were occupied with containing the situation but a few of them managed to escape. Fortunately, Batman arrived just in time to catch those escapees before he assisted Arkham 2.0 on the prison break. Meanwhile, Poison Ivy managed to sneak away from all the chaos.

Poison Ivy returned to her Turkish Bath House, exhausted. Poison Ivy breathed fresh air in relief.

"There's no place like home," Poison Ivy said in relief as she sat down on her throne. "I just can't stand another day there with that doctor." She looked over herself. It was time for a change of clothes…but only after relaxing first.

Poison Ivy stood up, going to her refrigerator where she picked out a fresh, light snack before consuming it. She then got herself a glass of herbal tea before drinking it up.

Somewhere else in her hideout, she was inside the shower room. She had a warm shower, washing herself thoroughly with soap and then drying off well. After all that, she took a foot-bath to warm up her extremities.

The naked Ivy reclined in the Turkish Bath's hot room, warming herself up for 15 minutes. Upon exiting, she had a cool shower and lied down to relax for a couple of minutes.

After making sure the water's fine and after making preparations in the cold room, she immersed herself in the soaking pool, invigorating the body.

"Aaaaaaah," Poison Ivy sighed, enjoying the warm water. She relaxed in the water, both bathing and resting herself for 25 minutes.

After the soaking pool, she took a cold shower cycle.

After her whole Turkish Bath experience, Ivy had put on her trademark outfit before she relaxed for a quarter of an hour while drinking fruit juice. She's gonna lay low for a while or more before she would resurface again and when she does, she would get back to her most important goal.

One while or more…

Poison Ivy just got word from Gotham's underworld that the Joker had come back and had appeared in Jump City! But how was that possible? The Joker was supposed to be dead, right? If the Joker was not truly dead to begin with, then that fact proved her right on Harley.

Jump City, that's the place where Batman's Boy Wonder moved and started his own team there. What was that team called again? Oh yeah, it's the Teen Titans. Was it coincidence the Joker had popped up in the same place Robin lived in? It's probably not a coincidence considering the Joker's obsession with Batman, showing that he cared more about the Bat than his henchwoman who shouldn't be with him.

Poison Ivy tried to learn more about the Joker and his reappearance in Jump City only to learn that he disappeared shortly after his public message to the city. The only thing that the media got from Robin, leader of the Titans, was that the Joker was killed in his final battle against the Titans. When a journalist asked whether Robin or the Titans killed the Joker all they got was "No comment."

No comment? No comment?! Joker, the man who caused so much suffering, suddenly came back from the dead and all that was given was "no comment"?! Something must be up with that kid but that same kid could also be a potential lead.

It was official. She's coming to Jump City.

Jump City was the location of the Teen Titans' base of operations known asTitans Tower. Jump City was protected by the Teen Titans against threats of all scales that were internal or external.

Based in America's West Coast, its population appeared to rank in the millions and it was portrayed as a modern urbanized center with pizza shops, parks, businesses, houses, islands and busy streets. The city was similar to a 60's style of a city. It also appeared to be a combination of Boston and San Francisco, with the city showing styles of both cities.

Within Jump City, Poison Ivy took up residence in the currently abandoned Beach Amusement Park.

Jump City's Amusement Park was a park that featured rides (e.g. a Ferris wheel) and game stalls. Built on top of a pier, it was adjacent to a beach which included other amenities such as an outdoor gym.

She made herself home in the amusement park where she set up her personal garden somewhere there, hidden away from people's eyes. Poison Ivy began thinking of what to do.

On her way to this amusement park, she did notice there were a total of seven Teen Titans on the streets. Seven against one were not good odds for her. Well she knew about Robin, so that lessened the load. Once she gets her rest, she would work on gathering information and working on her plans.

Poison Ivy researched the Titans for a long time during her stay.

She learned that the Titans originally started off with Robin, Starfire, Beast Boy, Cyborg and Raven. The band of five heroes did their superhero work until they were joined by a girl named Terra who betrayed the Titans in exchange for working for another villain named Slade. It confused her on how Titans could just simply take her back after all the betrayal she had done. It's also remarkable how people of the city could get over what she had done to it as well. She wondered if everyone Terra betrayed needed their heads examined. Anyway, then there were six Titans in total.

Soon, new arrivals came to Jump City that changed everything. The Titans were joined by three new heroes that went by the names known as Draco, Pluto and Shadowcobra. You would think that the Titans roster couldn't get any bigger but it did. Oh, wait. There was also the mistress of bad luck named Jinx who also joined the Titans for some reason. There was Blackfire, Starfire's sister, who also joined the hero business. There was also the blue haired and masked teen named Double Trouble who could transform into two different armors. Then the Titans took in a short girl called the Crystal Alchemist. And finally, there was a guy named Mortuary. Yeah, the Titans roster grew as time passed by even though a number of them came and went.

Right now, there were only seven Titans protecting the city. Changeling (that was Beast Boy's new name he took up during his career), Terra, Shadowcobra, Raven, Starfire, Robin and Cyborg. She didn't know why the other Titans left, leaving behind only those seven but she took it as an opportunity to capitalize on that. She'll take on six of the Titans before she takes care of Cyborg. Then if any other Titans come to the rescue, she'll have as many of them under her thumb while dealing with the rest. When she's through with all of them, the city would be lacking heroes.

Throughout her research, she learned of the enemies that the Titans fought. Maybe she could use some of them to achieve her plans.

Driving on Jump City's road was a motorbike being ridden on by none other than Devlin with Danielle sitting right behind him.

"Do you think your brother is expecting us?" Danielle asked.

"Maybe," Devlin replied in his polite English accent. "But if he isn't, then he will certainly be surprised." He continued driving towards Titans Tower.

Poison Ivy came to Jump City's bad part of town, the one where petty crooks hung out often. There were drug dealers in the alleys and who knows what lurking in the shadows.

As soon as Poison Ivy opened the door to the bar, all eyes laid on her. Of course the men leered at her, making her glare at them. She could tell these guys were eyeing her like a piece of meat as they were visually undressing her. She was tempted to teach them all a lesson but she refrained from doing so. She didn't want to risk scaring away her contact so she's gonna leave them alone for now.

She walked up to the counter and called, "Bartender!" The bartender came up to her. "Could you give me a glass of your finest alcohol?"

"You got it, lady," the bartender nodded. The bartender put down a glass, took out a bottle of whiskey from underneath the counter before filling up the glass with the alcohol.

Poison Ivy fished out cash from her expensive looking purse, something that she stole a while ago before her latest imprisonment in Arkham, before paying the bartender with it. Ivy sat down on her stool as she sipped her drink in waiting.

"Hello, Poison Ivy."

Poison Ivy jumped at the sudden appearance of a girl who was sitting right beside her. Poison Ivy took a good look at the girl. This girl had red eyes and she wore her black hair down with the bow on top.

"So you're Kat?" Poison Ivy inquired.

"The one and only!" the girl - Kat - grinned. She caught Poison Ivy looking her over. She teased, "Like what you see?"

Kat was the apprentice of Slade, AKA Deathstroke the Terminator, and a mercenary in training. Eventually, she had started actually taking contracts.

"You look young to be a mercenary," Poison Ivy noted. Instead of being angered or offended, Kat was flattered.

"Why thank you. And you look fine," Kat happily returned, giving the plant woman an appreciative look over. "But do wanna keep talking or do you wanna get down to business?"

The Titans Tower was the Teen Titans' base of operations, built by the Titans. It was located on an island in the Jump City bay. Each Titan had his or her own room. Its Main Ops room also served triple-duty as a living room and kitchen. It also had training facilities both inside and outside, as well as a gym, for the Titans to stay in shape.

The Tower's location (as well as the location of Jump City) was revealed to be near California.

The doorbell to the Tower rang; and soon, Shadowcobra was at the door before opening it up.

"Hello, otouto," Shadowcobra smiled.

"Onii-sama," Devlin smiled back. He shook hands with his brother and hugged for a brief time before they separated.

"How have you been?"

"I've been doing well. You?"

"Oh, just doing the usual heroics. For days, there's been nothing I can't handle."

"That's true."

Shadowcobra turned to look at Danielle.

"Danielle, it's good to see you again. I trust you had been taking good care of my brother?"

"Totally," Danielle nodded.

"Good," Shadowcobra nodded. "Now why don't you all come in? The others would like your company."

At an undisclosed location…

"So we're clear on the plan?" Poison Ivy questioned.

"Yeah, we're good," Kat confirmed "Just give me time to prepare and you'll get what you want. Just don't forget to pay me." Poison Ivy fished out bundles of cash and gave them to her.

"Half now, half when this is all over," Poison Ivy conditioned.

"Yeah, yeah. I got it," Kat agreed with a hint of lacking enthusiasm. She would've preferred having the entire payment at once but she'll go with that arrangement.

Shadowcobra, the Titans' third-in-command, brought the visitors to the Living/Main Ops Room. It had the flat panel computer displays, kitchen, refrigerator, TV, and power storage of the tower, and it also housed the Tower's main computer and communication suites. One wall was made entirely of glass from floor to ceiling, allowing the Titans to look out over the bay and Jump City.

Cyborg and Changeling played video games as Terra cheered her boyfriend on.

Raven was sitting on the big couch, reading her book. She looked up to see Shadowcobra bringing in Devlin and Danielle.

"Everyone, look who I brought in," Shadowcobra introduced.

"I can see that," Raven deadpanned in her low, rumbling voice. She warmly addressed Devlin and Danielle. "It's nice to see you all again."

"Right back at ya," Dani returned.

"Likewise," Devlin returned.

"Booyah!" Cyborg shouted in triumph with his arms raised.

"Oh man!" Changeling whined, leaving Terra to console him.

"Who's the man?! I'm the man!" Cyborg boasted. "Yeah, baby! Yeah!' He turned around, expecting something. "Someone give me a high five – oh, hey, Devlin."

"Wait, did you say Devlin?" Changeling asked, snapping to attention. He turned around to see Devlin. "Oh, hey dude!"

"Hey, Devlin," Terra greeted. "I didn't expect to see you."

"Well It's good to see you all, especially the lovely flowers," Devlin returned, winking at all the lady Titans. "So where are Tim and Kori? And is anyone else here I should know about?"

"Other than Starfire and Robin going out on a date in Jump City, it's just us," Terra answered.

Starfire and Robin were out on a date at the local Central Park. They were enjoying the peaceful stroll they were having. It's been long since they relaxed. No villains making trouble, and small crimes were being handled by authorities so it made sense for the two to spend alone time.

Robin was blessed to have his time with his love but he was paranoid that a villain would ruin their date. Cyborg had anticipated Robin's worries and/or paranoia he volunteered in watching over the city in his place, something Robin appreciated. He was fortunate to have his second-in-command taking initiative for his sake.

Starfire was lost in her own personal happiness at the date. After so much fighting she and her friends had done for so long, she's glad there's a break she could use for her and Timothy. She just wished there would be no crime and no end of the world scenarios that she and her friends would have to deal with.

"So lady Titans, since the two lovebirds are out, would anyone like to have their beauty enhanced?" Devlin offered.

"Oh, I would!" Terra volunteered.

"Maybe," Raven shrugged.

Starfire and Robin went to see a romance movie in a theatre where they sat next to each other with the boyfriend's arm around the Tamaranean.

"Ultimate Makeup."

Time seemed to stop for the present female Titans as Devlin used his cosmetics on their faces. When he was done, he showed them his hand mirror. The female Titans saw their beauty was instantly enhanced.

Changeling's jaw was dropped at the sight of Terra's improved beauty.

"I see you still haven't lost your touch, little brother," Shadowcobra smirked.

"I never lose my touch on improving beauty, onii-sama," Devlin stated as a matter of fact.

"No argument there," Shadowcobra acknowledged. "Would you like to play a game of chess with me? It's been long since we did any recreational activities. Besides, I like to test your cognitive skills."

"Challenge accepted," Devlin eagerly agreed.

After the movie was finished, the superhero couple exited the auditorium.

"Excuse me, Timothy. I have to go to the room that ladies use," Starfire said.

"Sure, Star," Robin accepted.

Watching the couple from afar was someone hiding in the shadows before that person teleported away.

In the Ladies' Room, Starfire washed his hands after using the toilet. When she was done cleaning her hands, she went for the towel dispenser. Before she could reach the towel dispenser, Starfire had a pair of hands wrapped around her arms and mouth before she got teleported away.

Minutes passed by, leaving Robin anxious. It's not like Starfire to take so long in the Ladies' Room. Something must be wrong.

So Robin approached the Ladies Room and knocked on the door.

"Star, are you there?" Robin asked. "Star, is everything alright?" All he got was silence, making him anxious. "Star!" Not taking it anymore, he opened up the door. However, as soon as he opened the door, a pair of hands grabbed him and pulled him in.

Sounds of fighting, grunts and cat screeches were heard for a few minutes before silence came.

"And that's checkmate, otouto," Shadowcobra announced as he took Devlin's king in the game of chess.

"It appears so," Devlin accepted. "Best 2 out of 3?"

"You're on," Shadowcobra grinned. He telekinetically reset the chess board.

Inside the abandoned Video Dome, Robin looked bruised and bloodied as he was tied to a chair with a spotlight shining over him.

"Don't get riled up, Robin."

Robin stiffened at the voice. That voice, he knew that voice from anywhere!

"Poison Ivy," Robin glared as the plant lady came walking in. "I should've known you're behind this." He heard about Poison Ivy breaking out of Arkham before she lied low. She was never found yet until now. He should've expected the possibility that she might be after him. How careless of him! "What did you do to Starfire?!"

"Same thing I'm going to do to you," Poison Ivy smirked. She leaned in close towards Robin's face with her lips all puckered up, giving the latter the message.

Robin tried to get out of her chair but a mysterious pair of hands held him down by the shoulders. Robin tried to turn his face away only for that mysterious hand to force him to face the incoming lips.

"It's getting dark out there and those two are not back yet," Shadowcobra noted in concern. His Pactio card depicting Starfire had been giving him trouble. This situation was similar to what happened to Raven and her mother. Could something have happened to the romantic couple?

"They're probably just enjoying the night," Cyborg shrugged.

"I'm going out," Shadowcobra volunteered as he stood up from his seat.

"Can I join?" Devlin asked. "You might need me for where you are going."

"I would like your company," Shadowcobra smiled.

"Can I come too?" Dani requested.

"Sure, we are family after all," Shadowcobra accepted.

"Then in that case, I'm coming too," Raven volunteered. "Starfire's my friend too."

"Hold on, if you really think there's something wrong then count me and the other Titans in," Cyborg spoke up. Changeling and Terra nodded in agreement.

Devlin and Dani were searching one half of the city while Raven and Shadowcobra were searching the other half of the city.

Shadowcobra walked the streets, doing what he could to try to find Robin and Starfire.

Instead of wearing his usual cloak that would've garnered attention, he was clad in a black turtleneck shirt, a black trench coat, matching black slacks, black leather shoes and black gloves. His black hair was combed so that the bans would cover his Mark of Sin and his eyes were completely black with blood red irises.

Shadowcobra's communicator rang, prompting him to answer, "Yes?"

"Onii-sama, my girlfriend and I searched our end but we haven't found them yet," Devlin spoke out of Shadows' communication device.

'Ichijyo, I haven't found Robin or Starfire yet,' Raven telepathically spoke.

In the Tower, Cyborg spoke online, "Shadow, I had T.I.T.A.N scan the city and there's no luck yet. Changeling and Terra didn't do any better in their area of the city."

"Where could they be?" Shadowcobra hissed in frustration.

"Robin, Star, where are you?!" Changeling shouted.

In the air, Terra was standing on a floating rock. She looked around, finding nothing.

"I don't see anything, Gar," Terra sadly spoke.

"Well they can't just disappear into thin air!" Changeling exclaimed. "Can they?"

"With everything we've been through, anything's possible," Terra said.

"I'm gonna do what I should've done and turn Kineceleran," Changeling said. He reached for his DNA Morpher.

"No need for that."

Changeling stopped his hand from using the DNA Morpher before he turned to the source of the voice.

"Robin!"

"Hey, Changeling!" Robin waved.

"Greetings, friend Terra!" Starfire cheerfully exclaimed from the ground, right below Terra.

"Starfire!" Terra exclaimed. She willed the rock into landing on the ground before she hopped off of it. "Where have you two been?! You had us all worried!"

"Dude, what happened to you?! You looked like you were just in a meat grinder?!" Changeling stated.

"It's good you asked, Changeling. But first, I need you to listen to me very closely," Robin said. Changeling blinked at his last sentence. Shrugging, Changeling leaned in close to Robin's face.

"OK, now listen up," Robin started.

POW!

"Changeling!" Terra exclaimed, seeing Robin knock out her boyfriend. "What are you-!"

Accompanied with a chime sound, Terra was knocked unconscious by a Starfire hitting her in the back with a Starbolt.

"I'm sorry, friend Terra," Starfire apologized.

"All of this is for Ivy," Robin spoke to the unconscious Changeling. He and his girlfriend picked up their respective fallen friends.

DING DONG!

Cyborg reached the door. He opened the door to see Starfire, Robin, Terra and Changeling standing before him. "Hey Starfire, Robin, you're alive! Wait, why do two of you look beat up?"

In a flash of light, Changeling transformed into a Galvanic Mechomorph (it was the alien species Upgrade belonged to from "Ben 10"). He immediately jumped Cyborg, merging his mechanical liquid body with the hero.

"What are you doing?!" Cyborg demanded, fighting against his friend as he stumbled back. Soon, the others jumped him.

Shadow was standing with Raven together on a roof.

"Cyborg, Cyborg, do you read me?" Shadow asked, getting only static. "Buggers, what is going on over there?"

"Something's wrong," Raven stated.

"Obviously," Shadow agreed. "We have to get back to the Tower, now."

"What about Devlin and Dani?" Raven asked.

"I'll have them keep searching but this time have them also keep an eye out for Tara and Garfield," Shadow answered.

"INITIATE DEFENCE PROTOCOL!"

Shadow and Raven arrived at the Tower only to discover that it was completely sealed off by a powerful barrier made to repel anything from the outside and keep whatever was inside safe.

"We're too late!" Shadow hissed. He spoke into his communicator, "Cyborg, are you in there?! Is everything alright?! Answer me!" All he got was static. "Damn it." He didn't like to do this but he needed Pluto for he was the only one with the security codes. "Rachel, I need you to stay here. It looks like I have to go get Pluto."

"Maybe there's no need for that, onii-sama."

"Otouto?" Shadow noted, seeing Dani Phantom drop off Devlin. "I thought I told you two to keep searching while also looking out for Tara and Garfield."

"Apologies but I felt you needed my help right here," Devlin said.

"Well unless you have a way for us to get through this barrier without getting torn apart molecule by molecule, I would like to continue your search," Shadow politely requested.

"I do have one, actually," Devlin spoke up, piquing his brother's interest.

"Do tell," Shadow encouraged.

"How about I show you, instead?" Devlin smirked. He slipped out a capsule from his sleeve. "Just be ready for what's coming next." He threw the capsule against the barrier. While the barrier tore apart the capsule molecule by molecule, the capsule's contents was released that created a rift in the barrier. "Let's go quickly!"

Dani grabbed Devlin by the shoulders and flew him through the rift, followed by the flying Shadow and Raven right before the barrier closed up split second later.

"Excellent work, brother," Shadow complimented.

"I always do my best," Devlin grinned. Shadow looked at the tower's windows. The lights were on but he didn't see anyone in there. "Is no one there, onii-sama?" Devlin asked, assisting in looking at the windows.

"No, nothing," Shadow replied. "We have to assume this tower might be compromised." He summoned his ground shadow familiars before sending them out into the tower, finding ways in getting through it. He also sent out a set of shadow familiars that were in the form of bats.

The instant the ground Shadow Familiars got through to the tower's entryway, they immediately got blasted into oblivion by the tower's guns.

"Ground floor has its guns activated," Shadow stated "So we might not go through the front door."

The bat shadow familiars surveyed the tower's exterior.

"My familiars are not seeing anyone through the windows," Shadow noted. "I'll have them enter through the roof."

Shadow's bats entered through the roof's stairs, leading them to begin searching the tower from the top. The familiars searched the corridor. One familiar checked out the gym, finding it empty.

Each of the Titan's rooms being checked by their respective shadow familiars. The vacant Titans' rooms were all empty but the rooms of the current Titans were definitely occupied. A shadow familiar saw Cyborg lying dormant inside of his own room while the other shadow familiars saw their respective Titans doing their own thing.

"Victor looks out of it in his room but the others are just relaxing," Shadow observed, looking through his shadow familiars' eyes.

"So everything is alright?" Raven asked in concern.

"It's too early to say, luv. We need to personally check on them," Shadow answered.

"Well this is your tower, your team, how should we go about this?" Devlin asked.

"Wait," Shadow halted. "Someone's taking out my shadow familiars."

"Who?" Dani asked.

"They all got taken out as soon before they could even see the attacker," Shadow scowled.

"Definitely something wrong," Danielle stated.

"Clearly," Raven deadpanned.

"So we're going up then?" Devlin inquired.

"Looks like it," Shadow nodded. He then covered himself and his company is a dome made of shadows. "Or we can find other ways to get inside."

"Before we do that, let me dress up first," Devlin said as he pulled out a metallic belt with a familiar red emblem on it before wearing it. "It's been a while since I used this X-Belt. X-CHANGE!" The X-Belt's buckle glowed.

The suit donned itself upon Devlin with the help of two red rings of lights, starting at his waist. The first ring went up and the second ring went down, changing his normal street clothes into the sleek black and red suit. His head was then covered by the Hollow-like white and black skull mask. The tattered black cape with red lining hung from his shoulders. Devlin was now Red-X.

Poison Ivy watched the dome of shadows dispersing to reveal that they were gone.

"You should expect anything from them," a feminine voice spoke into Ivy's ear.

Ivy nodded.

In the Titan's Tower's very basement, a Shadow Portal opened up. Stepping out of it was Shadow, Raven, Red –X and Dani Phantom before the portal closed up. Shadow inspected the basement, seeing that it was all clear.

"Why are we in the basement?" Dani asked.

"Because whoever may have compromised this tower might be expecting us to come in through the entrance," Shadow explained. "We're going to the monitor room and see what happened on its security cameras for any clues. By looking at the monitor room, we would know what we're up against."

"And if there is someone in the monitor room, we will deal with them," Raven added.

"Exactly," Shadow nodded. "So let's go."

A shadow portal opened up inside of the monitor room. As soon as Raven and Shadow walked out of the portal, they got attacked by explosive discs and Starbolts. On reflex, Shadow immediately got in front of his wife with him holding a shield made of shadows. Explosions erupted from the shadow shield taking the hits.

Within Starfire's hand was a large glowing green claymore called the Starblade. Starfire attacked Shadow with her Starblade, forcing the warrior of darkness to defend himself.

With a yell, Robin attacked Raven with his Birdarang sword.

"Azerath, Metrion-ACK!" Raven chanted before she got interrupted by a thrown whip that wrapped itself around her throat. She was then pulled back until she landed on her back right at a woman's feet. The woman's foot then stomped down on Raven's neck after withdrawing her whip.

"Raven!" Shadow exclaimed. Starfire took advantage of Shadowcobra's momentary distraction by firing laser-eye beams that sent him flying against the wall.

Shadow suffered his pieces of his torso clothing being burnt along with a bit of his actual torso. Shadow's burnt wound regenerated as Starfire came at him. Shadow blasted her with his telekinesis, sending her flying backwards. Starfire halted her reversal flying before she lobbed Starbolts at Shadow again, prompting him to form a wall made of shadows that blocked the projectiles.

The mind controlled Robin repeatedly punched Raven in the face until she was knocked unconscious.

"Nighty night, birdy," the woman purred. The camera panned up from the woman's feet to reveal that Kat wore an all-black bodysuit with a whip tied around her waist that made it look like a cat's tail and on her face was a pair of red goggles. On top of her hair was a bow.

"Kat!" Shadow angrily shouted before he found himself being double teamed by Robin and Starfire, prompting him to summon up a pair of swords made of shadows to defend. Kat then added the pressure by joining in the assault on him.

Meanwhile, Dani Phantom had phased herself and Red-X into the Living/Main Ops Room.

"Alright, remember the plan," Red-X whispered.

"I know, I know," Dani said, withholding exasperation that Red-X immediately spotted.

"I'm only reminding you, luv," Red-X responded. "Watch out!" He pushed Dani down to the floor, both of them dodging an optic laser beam.

The Tower's main computer now had a black exterior and green circuitry pattern.

"Garfield," Red-X identified.

Changeling slipped off the main computer and reformed himself into a vaguely humanoid shape with long arms, big hands and a single eye. He was black and green with the DNA Morpher's symbol on his chest and green circuitry patterns along the black parts. A green circular outline made up the alien's cycloptic eye.

"Hey, dude and dudette," Changeling spoke in a digital voice.

Red-X rolled himself and his girlfriend out of the way, letting a couple of flying boulders smash the floor instead.

"Tara," Red-X spoke as he and Dani got to their feet.

Terra entered the room, willing the boulders back to her side. The boulders floated above Terra's head as they spun around.

"What's wrong with you two?!" Dani demanded, charging up her hands with ecto-energy.

"Tara, Garfield, stop!" Red-X shouted. The Titan couple only responded by attacking Red-X and Dani.

Dani dodged the boulders right before firing her ghost ray at Terra.

"Ooof!" Terra exclaimed as she was hit, knocking her down on her back. Dani flew over to Terra before straddling her.

POW!

"Sorry," Dani apologized to the unconscious Terra. She then noticed a shadow suddenly casting over her. She charged up her fist with ecto-energy and was about to fire when a pair of hands grabbed that arm of hers and she got flipped over on her back. She then got immediately assaulted by a pair of a woman's lips touching her own, making her eyes go wide.

Meanwhile, Red-X dodged the Changeling's optic laser beams that were repeatedly fired at him. Changeling had his hands change to be giant fists before repeatedly slamming them down on Red-X, prompting him to dodge all of that. Evading the combination of both the fists and lasers of Changeling, he put one of his X's on Changeling's legs. Changeling began to short circuit as he screamed before he fell unconscious.

Red-X ducked down under a ghost ray that was aimed at his back. He turned his head, looking on with wide eyes.

"Dani?" Red-X said in shock. He saw Dani Phantom standing in the distance with her hand glowing green. He also saw Poison Ivy standing right beside his girlfriend. "Poison Ivy, I should've known you were behind all this."

"Well I can't take all the credit," Poison Ivy modestly admitted. Red-X narrowed his eyes at her words. "Now why don't you save us the trouble and let me get my hands on you?" Red-X knew what she planned for him.

"No…thanks, I'm….already…. taken," Red-X denied with struggle. He wondered why he was struggling when he was clearly in love with Danielle. Then it hit him. He started noticing the scent in the air. He widened his eyes when he realized that pheromones. Throughout this whole fight, Ivy had secreted potent pheromones that could make her irresistible to men.

"Oh, I think you might change your mind if you stay with me," Poison Ivy flirted as she approached Red-X as she motioned Dani to follow her. With Dani in tow, the two ladies were getting closer to Red-X.

Red-X threw a potion to the floor, the capsule breaking on impact. The broken capsule released smoke that engulfed him, Poison Ivy and Dani. The smoke not only served as a cover but it also cancelled out the pheromones.

"Can't fight what you can't see," Red-X taunted from inside of the cloud.

"Where are you? Show yourself!" Poison Ivy demanded. She then saw a flash of red before she was slammed into the wall, pinned down by a large red 'X'. She looked to Dani. "You, free me!"

Dani was about to act when she got shot in the back of the neck by a dart. The dart spread its potion throughout the ghost girl's body. Dani felt her ghost powers fail as she returned back to her human form. Dani then got hit with X-shaped restraints, sticking her arms down to her sides. The restrained Dani wobbled before she fell over on her back but Red-X caught her before she could make contact with the floor. Red-X saw the unconscious Changeling who already turned back into his default form.

Quickly, Red-X dodged vines that came his way. He saw vines coming out of Ivy's purse. The first few vines tried to remove the large red 'X' while the remaining vines whipped at Red-X. Red-X avoided the vines' strikes before he threw a potion capsule toward the purse. Poison Ivy had her vines move to catch the flying potion capsule. Anticipating Poison Ivy's attempted catch, Red-X fired a red energy beam from his hand at the potion capsule.

BOOM!

An exploded potion capsule released a smoke that engulfed Ivy and the vines. The vines went limp.

"What…did….you-?!" Ivy demanded in between her coughs.

"I pacified your green," Red-X simply interjected.

Shadow suffered cuts to his clothing, showing wounds from Starfire's Starblade slashes. Shadow blocked a stab from Robin's sword with his own weapon while using his other shadow sword in blocking Starfire's Starblade. Instantly, Kat teleported behind Shadow before tying her whip around Shadow's throat. Shadow choked, slowly losing oxygen as Kat tightened her hold. With his concentration slipping, Starfire and Robin disarmed Shadow of his shadow weapons before Starfire destroyed them with her Starblade.

"Come on, go to sleep," Kat purred.

Starfire and Robin began beating up Shadow. His world was growing dark. Shadow needed to do something quick!

'Danielle, otouto, now!' Shadow telepathically messaged.

Quickly, Starfire and Robin were pinned to the wall by their respective large red "X's'. Kat looked for the attacker, distracting her enough for her to get elbowed in the gut by Shadowcobra followed by getting an elbow to the face. Shadow quickly flipped Kat on her back. Shadow then summoned up shadow chains, binding Kat.

Kat was about to teleport when an invisible force pinched her nose, making her open her mouth for air. In that same instant, a potion capsule got popped into Kat's mouth. Kat immediately stiffened as her body froze up.

"Sorry about that, Kat," a voice apologized. The source of the voice shimmered to reveal Red-X. "I usually don't do this to women but you were asking for it."

Kat wanted to scream but she couldn't. All she could do was scream loudly on the inside as she glared daggers at Red-X. If looks could kill, Red-X would be dead nine hundred times over.

"Where's Dani?" Shadow asked.

"She got mind controlled by Poison Ivy so I had to disable her," Red-X regretfully answered. "But don't worry, she's alright."

"And Poison Ivy…?" Shadow started.

Poison Ivy struggled in futility to break free.

"She's held up," Red-X quipped.

"Good work," Shadow said in approval. He looked down on Kat and said, "So you two were in on this together."

It made sense, actually. Kat must've helped Poison Ivy capture the Titans so that the latter subjected them to the plant lady's control. Then the two used the Titans in entering the Tower, taking out Cyborg before the two ladies took over the Tower for whatever reason.

But what was the purpose of all this?

Kat knew what Shadow was getting at so she gave him a threatening glare.

'Read my mind and you're dead,' Kat mentally hissed. Shadow ignored her warning and went into her mind. 'Oh, you fucker.'

When Shadow was done reading her mind, he concluded, "So it was just a job to you, Kat. You didn't do this out of villainy, it was just a job to you."

"…" Kat remained silent.

"But it's more than just a job, is it? It was more than your fun and ambition, you were also genuinely helping Poison Ivy with something," Shadow went on.

Red-X and Shadow phased through the floor of the Living Room/Main Ops Room. Shadow saw Dani, Terra and Changeling tied up in X-shaped adhesive restraints. Shadow then finally laid eyes on the bound Poison Ivy.

"Hello, Poison Ivy. Or would you like me to address you as Miss Isley?" Shadow greeted.

"…" Poison Ivy said nothing, only glaring at Shadow.

"I know you hired Kat and I know why you did all this," Shadow started.

"So this is the Titan's Tower?" Poison Ivy asked as she stepped into the Living/Main Ops Room. "It could use a lot of green."

"I don't know about that," Kat replied as she and the mind controlled Titans followed Poison Ivy.

Poison Ivy stood in front of the glass wall, looking out over the bay and Jump City. Poison Ivy took out a vial from her purse. Poison Ivy looked at the vial, revealing to be containing strands of Harley's hair.

"Whose hair is that?" Kat asked.

"Hair of someone I truly care about," Poison Ivy solemnly said.

"Ohhhh, I see. It's Harley's, isn't it?" Kat guessed.

"Yes, it is," Ivy confirmed.

"You're doing all this for her.. You want to find your missing Harley," Kat deduced. She knew about the tales of Poison Ivy and Harley. Out of all the relationships Ivy had with the Bat Family's rogues, her relationship with Harley was the most genuine and everlasting friendship. In her opinion, she saw Ivy and Harley were gay for each other. The idea of Ivy and Harley being an item was WAY more appealing than her Harley's doomed relationship with the Joker.

"Yes," Ivy whispered. Kat heard her.

"Well I get the desire to find someone you care about," Kat nodded. "You want to find her, I'll gladly help out."

"Thank you," Ivy gratefully said.

"Don't mention it. Helping you find Harley is part of the job you're paying me for," Kat downplayed.

"Robin, could you be dear and scan this hair sample to search for her?" Ivy requested.

Robin nodded before ordering, "T.I.T.A.N., initiate DNA scan on Harley Quinn."

A device resembling a camera came down from the ceiling and fired a beam that swept over the vial that contained Harley's hair. The device then receded into the ceiling.

"Run scan on DNA matches," Robin continued.

"You had Robin use the Tower's computer to find Harley but you and Kat discovered that she's nowhere in the city," Shadow continued. "So you just decided to use us Titans for your own plans instead. Am I wrong or am I right?"

"A gal's gotta make sure she didn't make the trip for nothing," Poison Ivy shamelessly said.

"Too bad for you that you get imprisonment," Shadow coldly said. "I don't appreciate someone controlling my friends."

Soon, Poison Ivy and Kat were thrown into their respective private jail cells that made their powers useless. At least the two gals weren't wearing ugly prison jumpsuits so that's good for them.

In Poison Ivy's private jail cell, she was depressed at her failures. Not only did she fail to find her friend but she failed to use the Titans to get rich. Could this day get any worse? No wait, it could get worse if she got sent back to the new Arkham Asylum. She would rather stay in her jail cell than go to that wretched place.

Poison Ivy suddenly heard a guard clanging on the steel bars.

"What is it?" Poison Ivy frowned.

"Arkham staff is here to pick you up," the guard answered.

"Great," Poison Ivy sarcastically said.

"Hello, Pamela Isley," the doctor sneered. It was the same doctor who tortured Ivy at Arkham. "Enjoyed your vacation? Because I'm gonna make sure it's your last." He then started chuckling.

At the new Arkham, Poison Ivy was back in her prison garb with a straitjacket attached to her as she was being escorted by a group of muscular orderlies down a corridor. When they reached Poison Ivy's cell, the door opened up to reveal her antagonistic doctor.

"It's time for your treatment, Poison Ivy," the male doctor sadistically grinned, making Poison Ivy feel dread. A bathtub full of salt and sitting right beside the doctor didn't help her feelings either.

The orderlies forced the distressed woman through the doorway before the door closed, once again suffering torture.

Kamen Rider Goji: Like how the Joker came back in ZKD, Poison Ivy made her return in a ZKD universe. My Poison Ivy description is meant to refer to her character design from Batman & Harley Quinn film. Poison Ivy made her journey in her life without Harley only for it to end in tragedy, but at least she's alive at the end of this story. Will she ever find Harley or find a new path for herself? Keep reading my stories and you will find out.

The abandoned Turkish Bath in this story is similar to the Turkish Bath House that Poison Ivy and Bane used in the Batman and Robin film.

This story and my other story, Furious Prison, are two of the stories in a series called Supervillain Ladies. Thank you, Kamen Rider Chrome, for helping make the Furious Prison story good.
