The TMNT adaptation of Pet Sematary is finally here. The movie itself is rated R, but this is going to be written so it's rated PG-13. Blood warning. Read the part of my profile before reading this so you know what's going on.

"Oh, yup, this is nice."

Apollo stretches out on the rock floor, getting comfortable. Marcel used to sleep here during his short times in the forest. "Are you sure this place is safe with all this lava around?" Donatello asked him. "I'm sure. The floor is ever so slightly sloped away from the pool, so it's highly unlikely that any of us will fall in." Marcel explained.

"Well, my son is resistant to Fire, and I trust him, so I suppose there isn't anything to worry about." Ozzy said, looking around. "Besides, our father should be here."

"Garett? Do you really think he's still alive?" Kingsley asked the middle-aged Suicune. "Who's Garrett?" Michelangelo asked, curious. "Garrett is an old Volcanion that lives here. Legend has it that he lives to be over 100 years old. And he happens to be our grandfather." Gabrielle explains.

"You know the legend well, my granddaughter." A large red Pokemon lumbers out from a large cave. It is mostly red in color save for parts of its legs, which are dark in color, yellow fang-like toenails and an orange chest. A ring-like protrusion extends from shoulder to shoulder and has spots that are blue and yellow.

"Is that him?" Leonardo asked. "I am, young one. I see my children brought my grandchildren to spend a few days with their old man." Garrett says with a chuckle. "Please, do make yourselves comfortable."

"I expected to be a little less welcoming and a little more grumpy." Raphael mutters to Marcel. "He's only grumpy when he wants to be."

"You may sleep in my part of the cave if you like, if any of you are cautious about the lava. But I've had visitors here before, and no one fell in." Garrett said. "Oh. Well, we'll be making ourselves at home, then." Gabrielle said. "Please do. After all, any friend of my grandsons are friends of mine."

"Words to live by." The boys wandered off to check the place out. "Are you two gonna say hi to your old man or not?" Garrett said with a playful impatience. Marcel and Apollo rush over to nuzzle their grandfather. "It felt like just yesterday when you two were just cubs. Look at you two now, full grown warriors."

The two puffed their chests out, proud of themselves. Gabrielle puts a paw on Marcel's shoulder from behind, causing Marcel to jump a bit. "We're gonna have that little walk in the forest like you said, right?" She asked. Marcel turned to his younger brother, "Are you gonna be okay here for a while?"

"I'll be okay, You two have fun."

"I haven't been here since that Kraang invasion. Brings back good times, though." Gabrielle said as she and Marcel walk through the woods."True. I'll never forget the day when I finally reunited with Apollo." Marcel smiled happily at the memory. Sure, his father, Ozzy, hated him at first, but now Marcel gained his trust. "You don't think I'm gonna forget how to hunt by living in the city, do you?" Gabrielle asked, uneasy. "I wouldn't worry too much. Though I will admit, being here in the forest does take me back to when I was a–"

Marcel nearly trips over a dog Pokémon. It is a medium sized dog Pokémon with a thick patch of fur on its face that strongly resembles a mustache. It has dark blue, almost black fur. It was a Herdier. Four of them. And another dog Pokémon. It was a large dog Pokémon that has two long plume like strands of fur draping from its cheeks. It was their evolved form, a Stoutland. Marcel cleared his throat a little before asking, "Mind if I ask what it is that you guys are doing?"

"Our pack leader died." One Herdier said. "He's had some kind of health problem we didn't know about until it was too late." Another Herdier explained. "Oh. I'm sorry." Marcel said. "It's okay. We're taking him to Pet Sematary to be buried." Another Herdier said. "Pet cemetery?" Gabrielle asked. "Yes. We have no other place to bury him." Marcel and Gabrielle glance at each other uneasily. "Anyway, thank you for stopping by. We'll be leaving now." With that said, the four Herdier carried the Stoutland away. Gabrielle looked skeptical.

"Pet Sematary. Where have I heard that name before?" Gabrielle asked herself out loud. "It was one of Stephen King's horror movies. According to the plot, anyone buried in the Pet Sematary comes back to life with an aggressive behavior." Marcel answers. Gabrielle shudders at the thought. That definitely sounds like something from a horror movie. A thought crossed her mind that would've given her goosebumps. "You don't think…"

"They're actually going to the Pet Sematary?" Marcel finishes her sentence. Gabrielle nods. "No, that's impossible. I've seen all of Stephen King's horror movies, okay? It can't be real. It's a fictional place from a movie. They're probably gonna bury that Stoutland somewhere in the woods." Marcel dismissed.

"Okay, if you say so…" Gabrielle trails off. "It's getting dark. We should head back."

"Agreed."

Just outside the volcanic area the turtles we're camping in, slept an elderly Indochinese Tiger with faded black stripes and long fur covering his brown eyes. Despite being old, his body works as well as it was when he was several years younger. Even if so, he's still an old cat.

His name was Uduru. And he was currently having a dream. A rather vivid dream. The background was similar to that of tie dye. Uduru wanders around for a moment. "This is trippy." He mutters.

He jump's when he sees a tiger spirit in front of him. "Forgive me for startling you." The spirit said. "It's alright… Who are you?"

"My name matters as much as my breed; it wouldn't mean anything to you." The spirit said casually. "Come. I have something you might like to see." The spirit wanders off. Confused, Uduru follows the tiger spirit to a cemetery of some kind. The skies were gray, and so was the grass and ground down below. Uduru and the spirit watch as four Herdier bury a dead Stoutland.

The spirit makes a ticking noise. "Poor guy. He was a good man." The spirit said. "Um, why am I here. Or, a better question, where am I?" Uduru asked. He's never had this kind of dream before. He's beginning to think that this sing a dream. But it has to be. This kind of thing couldn't just happen. Could it?

The tiger spirit looks at him with a solemn look on his face. Uduru shrinks a bit. "You see the deadfall over there in the distance?" The spirit nods over to the deadfell of the Pet Sematary. "Yes, I do."

I must warn you, wise elder Uduru, do not venture beyond that boundary." The spirit warned. "With all due respect, I'm not the wise elder I used to be. But, might I ask, what lies beyond that boundary?"

"You are better off not knowing, Uduru. Do not venture beyond…" The spirit repeated these few words a few times, slowly fading to the point where Uduru couldn't hear him anymore. This is just a dream….

Uduru wakes up to something wet and squishy, despite sleeping in a tree a while ago. He stood up to realize that he was almost completely covered in mud. Uduru looks around, dazed and confused.

Perhaps it wasn't a dream after all...

The first chapter is finished. The actual horror violence doesn't really begin until the third chapter, but be prepared for some violence in the next chapter where, sadly, Apollo dies. Don't worry. He doesn't exactly die. He comes back to life, with an aggressive demeanor.

Garrett the Volcanion is voiced by Ving Rhames.
